Abstract

This study aims to reveal simultaneously and partially the influence of institutional ownership, gender diversity, and audit tenure on audit report lag. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study is companies registered in Consumer Non-Cyclicals Sector Companies Listed on The Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. And using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 290, representing 58 companies over five years. Panel data regression analysis was carried out in this study using Eviews 12 software. The study results show that institutional ownership, gender diversity, and audit tenure simultaneously affect audit report lag. Partially, institutional ownership has a significant negative effect on audit report lag, while gender diversity and audit tenure have no effect. A high level of institutional ownership influences audit report lag in this study. In contrast, the presence of women on audit committees and the number of auditor tenures do not affect the duration of audit report lag.

Abstract

This study uses a survey method with correlational research consisting of two independent variables, namely transformational leadership and emotional intelligence and one dependent variable, namely teacher job satisfaction. This research was conducted on SD Negeri Se-Cluster 03, District of Rawamerta-Kabupaten Karawang, with a population of 170 teachers and 119 samples were selected using proportional random sampling. The data analysis used is normality test, simple regression, multiple regression, homogeneity, simple correlation, multiple correlation, and partial correlation. The results obtained are as follows: First, there is a significant positive relationship between the principal transformational leadership variable (X1) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) which is expressed in the form of a correlation coefficient: ry1 = 0.5074 regression equation = 52.495 + 0.631 X1, and the coefficient of determination r2y1 = 0.2574. Second, there is a significant positive relationship between the emotional intelligence variable (X2) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) which is expressed in the form of a correlation coefficient: ry2 = 0.5800, the regression equation = 50,953 + 0.606X2, and the coefficient of determination r2y2 = 0, 3364. Third, there is a significant positive relationship between the variables of the principal's transformational leadership (X1) and emotional intelligence (X2) together with teacher job satisfaction (Y) which is expressed in the form of a correlation coefficient ry1.2 = 0.6695, the regression equation = 12.9487 + 0.4405X1 + 0.4834X2, and the coefficient of determination r2 = 0.4482. Based on these things, it can be concluded that teacher job satisfaction can be increased through the principal's transformational leadership and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The issue of traffic congestion in DKI Jakarta remains unsolved by the local government. Data from the Indonesian National Police reveals a continuous rise in motorized vehicles, particularly motorcycles and cars, from 2020 to 2022. This is corroborated by the 2023 rankings from TomTom, which position Jakarta as the 29th most congested city worldwide in terms of traffic. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has introduced public transportation options, including the Jakarta MRT, Jakarta LRT, Mikrotrans, and Transjakarta, to address traffic congestion. Transjakarta has gained popularity, carrying over a million passengers daily in August 2022, indicating a growing acceptance of government-owned public transit services. This study aims to assess how various aspects of service quality impact customer satisfaction within the context of Transjakarta public transportation. A sample of 391 respondents was analyzed using multiple linear regression through IBM SPSS 25 software. Data was collected via Google Forms. Findings reveal that several dimensions, including Tangibility, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy, positively influence Customer Satisfaction. However, the Reliability dimension has no significant impact on Customer Satisfaction. Importantly, collectively, the SERVQUAL dimensions (Tangibility, Responsiveness, Reliability, Assurance, Empathy) demonstrably affect Customer Satisfaction with Transjakarta Public Transportation.

Abstract

The need for backpacks is increasing along with increased mobility, including among women. Backpacks are needed by women who do a lot of activities and have to carry lots of things to support their daily activities, be it school, college, or work. With so many choices of backpacks available in the market, it is not uncommon for many women to be confused about choosing a backpack that suits their needs. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study to help formulate the characteristics of an ideal backpack for students, university students, and women in general who often carry a lot of things to support their various daily activities. Using the Quality Function Deployment Method or House of Quality approach, the authors try to find a formula for the design characteristics of backpacks that are expected by consumers in the market, especially students, female students and women in general who have high mobility. The characteristics used as a reference will be based on the seven dimensions of product quality. Expectations and wishes of consumers regarding the characteristics of an ideal backpack will be contained in an opinion poll which is then formulated using the QFD or HOQ methods. The result of the analysis of this research is to know the characteristics of an ideal backpack to support the activities of students, female students and women who have high mobility.

Abstract

Peat restoration is a government strategic program which is a top priority area, especially for Riau Province. Peat restoration is also one of the pilot projects that must be handled correctly, quickly and thoroughly so that it does not repeat the wounds of the disaster like 7 years ago. This is because, as the owner of the largest peatland in Sumatra, history has also been categorized as the biggest source of forest and land fires. It was suspected that the restoration of the peat was originally due to forest and peatland fires, so that the World Bank once estimated that the economic loss from the karhutla disaster reached Rp. 221 Trillion (Mileva et al. 2016). In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 1 of 2016, the government established the Peat Restoration Agency which is the leader in implementing peat restoration in Indonesia (Lebaran et al. 2016). It should be known that peat restoration is indeed designed within the framework of collaboration with many elites (representative groups that are considered capable), namely the Government, communities, NGOs and the private sector, which are the key elites for the implementation of peat restoration (collaborative governance). The elite approach strategy is the focus of this study by using collaborative governance theory as the main research framework. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach assisted by literature studies. Researchers found that there was a failure of peat restoration management strategy in Riau. The unclear status of the Regional Peat Restoration Team (TRGD) and the inactivity of the Riau Provincial Government in supporting the peat restoration agenda became the findings of this study. Researchers see there are several factors that cause it to happen. Economic factors become the main ones because peat restoration is related to investments in forestry and oil palm plantations. Then the cause of the failure of the management strategy, namely failure to understand communication between elites, was also caused by a lack of commitment from elite leaders in Riau.

Judge is a profession that requires high integrity. However, Code of Ethics and Judges’ Code of Conduct violations were carried out by unscrupulous judicial institutions in Indonesia. Thus, the aim of this study are to analyze and describe the weaknesses of the supervisory system which have an impact on the weak integrity of judges resulting in violations of Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct for Judges. This research was conducted with a normative juridical approach. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The guarantee of judge integrity is carried out by monitoring the behavior of judges, namely internal supervision by the Supreme Court and external supervision by the Judicial Commission. External supervision to minimize the occurrence of subjectivity in the results of internal supervision. 2) External supervision does not rule out the possibility of violations of the code of ethics and behavior, this is due to errors in interpreting the Judicial Commission's position, ambiguity and incomplete supervision procedures in the Judicial Commission Law regulations. 3) Public supervision of judges needs to be carried out to monitor the behavior of judges who cannot be supervised intensely by the supervisory body. 4) The integrity of judges is correlated with the International Framework for Court Excellence program which has core values that must be realized by judicial institutions so that they can realize legal justice for all people. Conclusion: the weak integrity of judges is due to unclear and uncomplete rules, inaccurate implementation and lack of innovation in supervision.
