Abstract

The COVID 19 pandemic is a case which continues to be felt by the community especially health workers. Data shows an increase in cases of health workers, especially nurses as the frontliner, this is due to one of them the use of protective equipment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment with the Puskesmas Nurses self-efficacy on the management of COVID 19. The method used in this study was analytic descriptive with a cross-sectional approach and used 146 samples surveyed online for 1 month based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The variable knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment was measured using a questionnaire developed by researchers based on the personal protective equipment guidelines by the Covid Task Force 19, (2020); Ministry of Health, (2020), while the variable of self-efficacy uses the General Self-efficacy Scale questionnaire by Schwarzer and Jerusalem (2010). The results showed a significant relationship between the knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment with the efficacy of the Puskesmas Nurse on the management of COVID 19 p-value 0.016. OR 2,780 which means nurses who have knowledge using good personal protective equipment have an opportunity of 2,780 times to have a good self-efficacy (sure) to the management of COVID 19 compared to nurses who have less knowledge. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop human resources including nurses conducted by the government as policy makers. Through this research, the researcher proposes that further researchers can develop this research by linking other factors that can influence nurse self-efficacy.

Objective: To find out the knowledge and attitudes of the people of Java Island related to sociodemographic (age, sex, education, and employment status) in efforts to control Covid-19. Methods: Cross-sectional design with a sample of 1,579 selected by simple random sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire assisted by the google form program then the data is analyzed by using the chi-square test. Results: Of the 1,579 respondents who participated, namely the youth category by 57%, female gender by 76%, undergraduate education by 47.1%, and the work status of the student category by 41%. A total of 1008 respondents (64%) have good knowledge and 1251 respondents (79%) have a positive attitude. The results of the chi-square test on the knowledge variable showed that there was a relationship between age (p = 0.023) and education (p = 0.021), while gender (p = 0.359) and work status (p = 0.308) had no relationship. In the attitude variable, the results of the chi-square test showed that the p-value between age (p = 0.927), gender (p = 0.072), education (p = 0.140) and work status (p = 0.119) had no relationship, but the knowledge and attitude turns out that there is a value of p = 0.000 <0.05 with a confidence interval of 95%. These results indicate a relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards efforts to control COVID-19. Conclusion: The majority of people on the island of Java are knowledgeable and have a positive attitude in efforts to control COVID-19.

Abstract

The problem experienced by breastfeeding mothers is that the milk is not released on the first to the third day post partum. As a result, newborns who are supposed to be breastfed early will be delayed and as an alternative are given formula milk. The smoothness of the process of lactation or the production and production of breast milk is influenced by breast care, frequency of breastfeeding, maternal psychology, maternal health, and contraception, as well as breast milk production, which is strongly influenced by physical, psychospiritual, environmental and social. Efforts to stimulate the hormones prolactin and oxytocin can be done with breast care or massage, oxytocin massage, nipple cleansing, early and regular breastfeeding and marmet techniques or milking and massage techniques. The "BOM" method (Breastcare, Oxytocin Massage, and Marmet Technique) is a stimulation to help the production and release of breast milk through breast care, oxytocin massage (massage or stimulation of the spine) and marmet technique (a combination of expressing breast milk and massaging the breasts) ). Mothers breastfeeding babies aged 0-6 months at Public Health Clinic Prambon Nganjuk Regency in a preliminary study of 5 (five) mothers breastfeeding babies aged 0-6 months, do not know how to make a lot of milk production using "BOM" through structured interviews. The research objective was to assess the effectiveness of the BOM (Breastcare, Oxytocin, and Marmet Teachnique) method in increasing breast milk production. This study uses a quasi-experimental method. It was carried out at the Prambon Health Center with a total sample of 60 people and used the Mann Whitney U Test analysis. The results obtained from 60 samples were a p value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there were significant differences between the two groups, where the BOM method (Breastcare, Oxytocin, and Marmet Teachnique) was very effective on breast milk production.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Almost all premature babies have hyperbilirubin due to immature body organs and liver function. Breast milk nutrition, which is often found, especially colostrum, can stimulate the baby's bowel movements to help the excretion process through the feces so that it will clear meconium faster, this will help remove bilirubin in the baby's body. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between breastfeeding nutrition and the incidence of hyperbilirubin in premature babies in the NICU room of the Wahidin Soedirohusada Regional Hospital, Mojokerto. This type of research is analytic with cross sectional approach. The population of all preterm infants treated in the NICU room of the Wahidin Soedirohusada Mojokerto Regional Hospital was 24 respondents with a total sample of 20 respondents with consecutive sampling. This research was started on March 10 - April 9 2019. Data collection was done by observing drinking intake and observing laboratory results, with 2 independent and dependent variables. Data analysis by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, chi square test. Furthermore, statistically tested using the chi square test using the SPSS windows program with a significance limit (ά = 0.05) H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected if ρ <0.05. Based on the results of the research, some respondents, namely 11 respondents (55.0%) experienced good breastfeeding nutrition and there were no hyperbilirubin 12 respondents (60%) of 20 respondents who had good breastfeeding nutrition and did not occur hyperbilirubin as many as 10 respondents (50%) with chi square test, the value of ρ is 0.008, where ρ = 0.008 <0.05, then H1 is accepted. There is a relationship between breastfeeding nutrition and the incidence of hyperbilirubin in premature babies in the NICU room of the Wahidin Soedirohusada Regional Umun Hospital, Mojokerto. The results of the study are expected for the hospital to increase education about the benefits of breastfeeding to prevent hyperbilirubin and to hold a breastfeeding corner.

Abstract

Hypertension often results in dangerous conditions that are often not realized and often do not cause complaints. Hypertension is also often referred to as the silent kiler because it is a deadly disease. Even hypertension can lead to other deadly diseases and can increase the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney failure. The research design used Quasi Experiment with Non Equivalent Control Group design with pre-postest control one group design. The research was conducted in the working area of the Dlanggu Health Center on September 2020. The population in this study were all hypertension sufferers. The sampling technique used simple random sampling of 60 people. The instrument used was a sphygmomanometer, measuring height and weight and an observation sheet. Data analysis used the Ancova test with the assumption of normal and homogeneous data distribution. Ancova analysis results showed that BMI did not affect systolic blood pressure (F = 0.014, p value 0.907> α), but there was a difference in systolic blood pressure between the control group and the treatment group (F = 105.06, p-value 0,000 <α). The results of the ancova analysis showed that BMI did not affect diastolic blood pressure (F = 0.003, p value 0.953> α), but there was a difference in diastolic blood pressure between the control group and the treatment group (F = 80.899, p-value 0.000 <α). It can be concluded that the difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure after being given Touch Therapy is not controlled by the BMI variable. This is because blood pressure is controlled by other influencing factors, including stress and physical activity.
