Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 presents challenges that must be faced by the business world, namely the lack of adequate HR (Human Resource) skills, the problem of security of communication technology, the reliability of the stability of production machines, the inability to change by stakeholders, and the number of job losses due to automation. Society 5.0 offers a human-centered society that makes a balance between economic progress and the resolution of social problems through a system that is highly connected through cyberspace and the real world. If society 4.0 allows anyone to access also share information on the internet. Society 5.0 is an era where all technology is part of humanity itself. To take advantage of opportunities and answer the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0, Indonesian people in particular are required to have data, technology and human literacy capabilities. Data literacy is needed by HR to improve skills in processing and analyzing big data for the benefit of improving public and business services. Technology literacy shows the ability to utilize digital technology to process data and information, while human literacy must be mastered because it shows the element of soft skills or the development of individual character to be able to collaborate, be adaptive, and innovative. Indonesia is demanded to be able to follow industry 4.0 workflows juxtaposed with society 5.0. The need for human resources in several business fields is still very massive if all of them are carried out by robotics. Indonesia is a developing country with a fairly dense population that is certainly able to align between the needs of industry 4.0 and society 5.0. Leadership in organizations must stay alive so that every innovative competitive strategy is able to run with the existing vision. To go to the era of society 5.0 the government is obliged to continuously control it.

Abstract

Currently, teachers are required to carry out their professional development. Because of professional development is a continuous learning process, so the teacher will learn the best way to adapt their teaching skills to fulfill student learning needs. The method used in this research is a literature review by utilizing reference sources in the form of journals, books, and other forms of publications. This study aims to examine the importance of teacher professional development in an educational environment that is used as a strategy to improve teacher capacity and student achievement. The results of this study indicate that professional development plays an important role in improving student achievement. However, increasing student achievement must be preceded by changes in teacher capacity, such as their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and beliefs that will bring changes in teaching and learning activities. Furthermore, teacher capacity can improve student achievement, so that in turn some improvements for school quality will be achieved in order to achieve overall educational success.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of members’ equity and business volume partially and simultaneously on the net profit as the remaining business results (SHU) of the Siti Khadijah Employee Cooperative in Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital. The object of this research is the Siti Khadijah Employee Cooperative at the Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital, South Kalimantan. The data needed in this study is secondary data, namely cooperative members’ equity, business volume, and the SHU in the period of 2010-2018. This type of research is explanatory research. The secondary data was collected through research object documentation. Next, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, classic assumption tests, partial and simultaneous tests, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that the members’ equity and the cooperative business volume partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the SHU. This finding adds insights to academic research on the influence of the members’ equity and cooperative business volume to the SHU of the Siti Khadijah Employee Cooperative at the Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital.

Abstract

Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) is a sharia cooperative that is able to reach up to economic actors of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Itqan BMT members in Bandung who use Itqan Mobile are far less than the number of members who do not use them. The purpose of this study was to examine the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) on users of users and not users of Itqan Mobile on Itqan BMTs in Bandung. UTAUT is a theory that is widely adopted in studies of user acceptance of a technology. The method used in this research is regression analysis followed by path analysis. Regression analysis was carried out in two stages. The result of regression I research is that effort expectations show a positive and significant role on the behavioral intentions of members using Itqan Mobile, while performmmance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions do not contribute to the behavioral intentions Itqan Mobile. The results of regression II research indicate that performance expectations and effort expectations have not role in the behavior intentions Itqan Mobile. Furthermore, the results of the study also prove that performance expectations, effort expectations, social influences, and facilitating conditions show an indirect effect on the behavior of Itqan Mobile users which is mediated by behavioral intentions of using it.

Abstract

The meeting between generations is now starting to be felt in all organizations, and new things in Human Resources management. Differences in character, motivation, and characteristics in each create a contribution to the human resource management of an organization/company. This study aims to analyze Y-generation employees at ATC (Air Traffic Control) by examining the relationship between variables, perceived organizational support, job satisfaction, quality culture, and intention to move. The research object is ATC employees of seven airports in Indonesia with a total population of 620. The sample of this study is Y-generation of the ATC employees, which is as many as 225, with a purposive sampling method. Research data processing using AMOS version 24 with job satisfaction as the second-order (internal and external dimensions). The results showed that perceived organizational support and quality culture affected turnover intention which was moderated by job satisfaction. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of job satisfaction which consists of external and internal dimensions that affect Y-generation in turnover intention.

Abstract

This study uses objects in one of the state-owned companies engaged in microfinance services, namely PT. Investment Management. In this case, of course, PT PNM Investment Management has growth that is very dependent on the service of employees to customers. Therefore, companies must continually improve services to customers and be able to maintain and improve employee performance. This research aims to determine the effect of organizational justice on employee engagement through organizational identification. This quantitative study is based on data collected using a questionnaire distributed to 78 respondents of PT. Investment Management is then analyzed using partial least square. In the results of the analysis using PLS it was found that organizational identification was able to mediate the effect of organizational justice (distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice) on employee engagement. This shows that the employee engagement can be achieved by many factors and some of them are about the concept of justice applied by the company and identification of the organization owned by employees, especially employees of PT. PNM Investment Management.

Abstract

Revitalization is one of the government programs to re-empower rural cooperative (KUD) in Indonesia. Revitalization for inactive KUD has the purpose to reactivate KUD although the outcome is highly dependent on the conditions of the KUD as well as the internal support of the KUD. This study was conducted in two inactive KUDs in Pati Regency, Central Java namely KUD Sedyo Rukun Juwana and KUD Sukolilo. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Interviews and focus group discussion (FGD) was performed to collect data. The study aims to describe the conditions and the implementation of a revitalization program in both KUD. The results showed that both KUDs do not play a role as cooperative anymore. One of the indicators is that both KUDs has not carried out annual member meetings (RAT) for more than three years. Revitalization of KUD Sedyo Rukun Juwana was conducted by reorganizing and strengthening institutions through RAT. Conversely, the activation of KUD Sukolilo is nearly possible due to the complexity of the problem within the KUD. Liquidation of KUD Sukolilo can be an option to make clear the status of KUD. However, from a legal perspective, KUD Sukolilo cannot be dissolved because they experienced an inability to pay bad credit from the government.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the minimum capital adequacy ratio, the ratio of non-performing loans, operating costs and operating income, and company size on profitability. This research was conducted in the banking industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. This research was conducted in the banking industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This study used a purposive sampling method in determining the research sample. The results of this study found that the capital adequacy ratio, operating expenses and operating income (BOPO) of the bank, and Non-performing loan ratio had a significant effect on profitability. On the other hand, company size has no significant effect on the profitability of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019.

Abstract

Edisi Desember 2020 kali ini dibuka dengan artikel pertama tentang sebuah pemikiran konseptual oleh Lena Ellitan mengenai perubahan lingkungan bisnis akibat hadirnya Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Masyarakat 5.0. Revolusi Industri 4.0 hadir dengan tantangan baru yang harus dihadapi oleh dunia bisnis dengan menunjukkan fakta bahwa ketrampilan SDM (sumber daya manusia) masih kurang memadai, masalah keamanan teknologi komunikasi, keandalan stabilitas mesin produksi, ketidakmampuan pemangku kepentingan untuk berubah, dan sejumlah pekerjaan yang hilang karena otomatisasi.Selanjutnya, artikel kedua merupakan hasil tinjauan literatur oleh Yuni Kasmawati yang memberikan sumbangan pemikiran tentang pengembangan profesional guru yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswanya. Namun, peningkatan prestasi siswa tersebut harus didahului oleh adanya perubahan kapasitas guru, seperti pengetahuan, ketrampilan, sikap, dan keyakinan mereka yang akan membawa perubahan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah.Artikel ketiga karya Bustani dan Firdaus menyajikan sebuah penelitian tentang pengujian pengaruh modal sendiri anggota koperasi dan volume usaha koperasi, baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap sisa hasil usaha (SHU) pada Koperasi Karyawan Siti Khadijah Rumah Sakit Islam Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil pengujian ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap SHU pada Koperasi Karyawan Siti Khadijah.Chairia, Citra Sukmadilaga, dan Indri Yuliafitri menyajikan artikel keempat yang menguji model UTAUT (The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) yang dimodifikasi pada anggota pengguna dan bukan pengguna Itqan Mobile pada BMT (Baitul Maal wat Tamwil) Itqan di Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat. UTAUT merupakan teori yang banyak diadopsi pada penelitian-penelitian tentang penerimaan pengguna terhadap suatu teknologi. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi usaha, pengaruh sosial, dan kondisi yang mendukung menunjukkan pengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap perilaku pengguna Itqan Mobile yang dimediasi oleh niat perilaku untuk menggunakannya.Dengan menggunakan analisis SEM (structural equation model), artikel kelima oleh Emiliana Sri Pudjiarti dan Honorata Ratnawati Dwi Putranti ini menyimpulkan bahwa fleksibilitas strategis dapat memperkuat efek positif kapabilitas pembelajaran organisasi terhadap kinerja inovasi dan kinerja bisnis. Penelitian ini mengungkap banyak IKM (Industri Kecil dan Menengah), khususnya yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten dan Kota Tegal, Jawa Tengah, tidak siap menghadapi perubahan lingkungan bisnis akibat era disrupsi, sehingga sebagian besar dari mereka terpaksa gulung tikar. Temuan ini mengarahkan pada sebuah mekanisme navigasi untuk menghadapi turbulensi pasar dan persaingan bisnis.Dengan menggunakan 98 responden berdasarkan purposive sampling, artikel keenam karya Dea Adielyani dan Wisnu Mawardi membuktikan bahwa variabel overconfidence, herding behavior, dan risk tolerance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi saham pada investor-investor milenial di Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menyarankan Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk menguatkan proses edukasi berkelanjutan mengenai pasar modal bagi investor milenial, sehinga mereka memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik tentang investasi di pasar modal.Artikel ketujuh karya Arif Fakhrudin menganalisis kualitas layanan secara optimal yang mampu memenuhi harapan pelanggan, sehingga kondisi tersebut dapat menciptakan kepuasan danrloyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini mengungkap loyalitas penumpang maskapai penerbanganlGaruda Indonesia yang dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh kepuasan dan kepercayaan mereka. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan Garuda Indonesia mempertahankan kinerja layanan jasa penerbangannya melalui peningkatankkepuasan dan kepercayaan penumpang, seperti layanan berkualitas dan efisiensi waktu, baik pada saat pre-flight, in-flight hingga post-flight.Wita Marantika dan Sarsono dalam artikel kedelapan menemukan bahwa kualitas produk, word of mouth, dan store image berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pengunjung Toko Amigo Pedan, Klaten, Jawa Tengah secara simultan, sedangkan word of mouth yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian tersebut.Edisi ini ditutup dengan artikel kesembilan karya Amelia Yuhana Prativi dan Praptini Yulianti yang meneliti dengan menggunakan PLS (Partial Least Square) dan menemukan bahwa organizational identification mampu memediasi pengaruh organizationnal justice, yang terdiri atas distributive justice, procedural justice, dan interactionnal justice terhadap employee engagement. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa employee engagement karyawan mampu dicapai melalui banyak faktor, termasuk konsep keadilan yang diterapkan perusahaan dan identifikasi organisasional oleh karyawan PT PNM Invesment Management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the information source’s credibility and characteristic towards opinion leadership, and the effect of opinion leadership on consumer behavioral intention in social media Instagram. The population in this study were all social media users who use Instagram as their fashion reference. The total sample used in this study was 168 people. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. The result obtained from this study indicates that credibility and characteristic have a significant and positive effect on opinion leadership, and opinion leadership has a significant and positive effect on the intention to interact and intention to follow the advice.
