Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of overconfidence, herding behavior, and risk tolerance to the stock investment decisions. The hypotheses are overconfidence, herding behavior, and risk tolerance have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. This study is quantitative research, with the population is millennial investors in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. The research used 98 respondents was taken using purposive sampling. The data collected through questionnaires with Google form. The method of data analyze used multiple linier regressions with the application of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22. The results showed that the overconfidence, herding behavior, and risk tolerance provided a positive and significant effect on stock investment decisions of millennial investors in Semarang City.

Abstract

Edisi Juni 2021 kali ini dibuka dengan artikel pertama dari hasil penelitian oleh Nathaza Gayatry Woen dan Singgih Santoso yang menemukan bahwa kualitas layan-an, kualitas produk, dan harga normal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kon-sumen produk Burger King di Yogyakarta, sedangkan promosi tidak memberikan peng-aruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan mereka. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Selain itu, gender dan tingkat pendidikan terbukti mampu memoderasi hubungan antarvariabel da-lam model penelitian ini.Artikel kedua karya Puji Astuti, Rochmi Widayanti, dan Ratna Damayanti meru-pakan penelitian dengan pendekatan diskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengung-kapkan bahwa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan program dana desa oleh perangkat Desa Cepogo, Kabupaten Boyolali, Jawa Tengah memperlihatkan pengelolaan yang akuntabel dan transparan. Dari sisi akuntabilitas, baik dari segi fisik maupun penata-laksanaan program telah menunjukkan pelaksanaan yang akuntabel dan transparan.Artikel ketiga oleh Nur Faiza dan Anita Kristina menyajikan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi yang dilakukan pada sentra industri kecil Bordir di daerah Bangil, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan teknologi dalam proses produksi tidak dapat dihindarkan sebagai akibat dari upaya pengusaha untuk memperbaiki daya saing produksinya. Penguasaan teknologi dinyatakan sebagai ketrampilan utama bagi pekerja, sehingga mereka berupa-ya melakukan perbaikan kualitas produk bordir dengan mesin komputer dan menyele-saikan pesanan secara tepat waktu.Artikel keempat karya Jatmiko Wahyudi, Aeda Ernawati, dan Siti Qorrotu Aini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan disain studi kasus. Penelitian ini fokus untuk menganalisis dua KUD (Koperasi Unit Desa) yang berstatus tidak aktif di Kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara kelembagaan kedua KUD tersebut tidak menunjukkan eksistensi sebagai sebuah koperasi. Program revitalisasi KUD dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan reorga-nisasi, penguatan kelembagaan, dan keanggotaan melalui pelaksanaan RAT (Rapat Anggota Tahunan).Artikel kelima merupakan penelitian oleh Sri Hartini dan Arbhie Nugraha Hanafi merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan 168 responden pengguna Instagram yang ditentukan dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kredibilitas dan karakteristik sumber informasi memiliki pengaruh positif terha-dap opinion leadership, sedangkan opinion leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap niat konsumen untuk berinteraksi dan mengikuti saran.Artikel keenam karya Lestari dan Atty Erdiana meneliti perbedaan risk dan return saham syariah dan konvensional yang go public di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini fokus pada kajian data harga saham syariah dan konvensional dari tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2018. Hasilnya menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata return pada saham syariah dan konvensional, sedangkan hasil perbandinagn risk pada kedua kelompok saham tersebut bervariasi atau heterogen (tidak sama).Artikel ketujuh merupakan hasil penelitian oleh Asma’ul Khomsiyah dan Sanaji yang mengkaji 100 orang pendukung Persela Lamongan dan menemukan bahwa fanatisme pada klub sepak bola tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian merchandise orisinal klub. Di sisi lain, loyalitas supporter terbukti berpengaruh signifi-kan terhadap fanatisme dan keputusan pembelian merchandise, sedangkan fanatisme tidak mampu menguatkan pengaruh loyalitas supporter terhadap keputusan pembelian tersebut.Artikel kedelapan adalah penelitian di bidang manajemen sumber daya manusia merupakan hasil karya Honorata Ratnawati Dwi Putranti, Suparmi, dan Sri Suprapti yang menganalisis karyawan generasi Y di ATC (Air Traffic Control) sejumlah bandara di Indonesia dengan menguji hubungan antarvariabel, yaitu perceived organizational support (POS), job satisfaction, quality culture, dan turnover intention. Dengan menggunakan 225 responden karyawan generasi Y, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perceived organizational support (POS) dan quality culture berpengaruh terhadap turn-over intention yang dimoderasi oleh job satisfaction.Artikel kesembilan adalah penelitian terhadap 37 perusahaan perbankan yang ter-daftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk periode tahun 2015-2019 karya Khaerunisa Harsono. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa rasio kecukupan modal (CAR), rasio kredit macet (NPL), serta biaya operasional dan pendapatan operasional (BOPO) bank, ber-pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas bank, sedangkan ukuran bank ternyata tidak terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitasnya.

Abstract

In many marketing activities, including fast-food, customer satisfaction is an important factor for the success of a business and has the possibility to influence customer loyalty in the future. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service quality, product quality, promotion, and fairness of prices on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at Burger King outlets in Yogyakarta. The research will also use gender and education level as moderation variables. By using survey methods on 377 respondents and by testing the structural model using AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) software version 24, the results of the study show that service quality has a significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction, product quality has a significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction, promotion does not significantly influence customer satisfaction, fairness price has a significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty. The results also show that gender and education levels moderate the relationship between variables in the research model.

Abstract

This study purposed to compare the Risk and Return between Islamic and conventional stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The object of this research is sharia and conventional stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample size of 50 Islamic stocks and 50 conventional stocks. This research focused on the study of Islamic and conventional stock price data from 2015 to 2018. The analysis technique used to test the level of differences in risk and return in Islamic and conventional stock groups was the independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the average return on Islamic and conventional stocks. Meanwhile, the results of the risk comparison of the two groups of stocks were heterogeneous (not the same) so that the risk of the two stocks cannot be compared.

Abstract

Increasing customer loyalty has become a popular topic for managers, consultants, and academics. Optimal service quality is expected to meet customer expectations, so that conditions will create customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to determine the effect of satisfaction and trust on Garuda Indonesia airline passengers’ loyalty at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Boyolali. The type of this research is quantitative research. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to Garuda Indonesia airline passengers at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Boyolali. Of the 100 questionnaires distributed to respondents, 68% response rate can be achieved. Analysis of the data used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 20 as a data processing aid. The results showed that passenger satisfaction and trust significantly influenced the passengers’ loyalty of Garuda Indonesia airline.

Abstract

Fundamental analysis of companies with financial ratios is essential in making investment decisions for any company. Therefore, to obtain maximum profit, investors need to perform a study before making investment decisions. This research aims to examine the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price to Book Value (PBV), Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on the stock price. The research at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, a sub-sector of food and beverage companies, period five years (2014-2018). The sample of this study amounted to 12 companies from 26 companies in the population of food and beverage companies that have met the researchers' criteria. Data analysis with bootstrapping used SEM (statistical equation modeling) in hypothesis testing. The research findings confirmed the significant effect of Earning per Share, Price to Book Value, and Dividend Payout Ratio on stock prices. Meanwhile, the Net Profit Margin does not significantly affect stock prices in the study period, with an alpha significance of five percent. These findings imply practical implications that EPS, PBV, DPR, and NPM ratio information can be considered in investment decisions for anyone.

Abstract

A village fund program is a form of government concern for the development of rural areas. The management of village funds consists of five stages, namely planning, implementation, managing, reporting, and responsibility, which should be based on the principles of good governance. The Cepogo Village Government, Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency, in Central Java Province is one of the village governments in Indonesia that has implemented the principles of good governance in managing village funds. This study aims to see how the implementation of the principles of transparency and accountability in the management of village funds by the Cepogo Village Government to achieve good governance standards. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique used was direct interviews with a semi-structured method. The participants of this study were the Village Head of Administration, Village Secretary, Village Treasurer, and staff of the Administration Section for managing the village fund who are responsible for managing it. The results showed that the planning and implementation of Village Fund Program activities had shown accountable and transparent management. In terms of accountability, both physical and management activities, it has shown that the implementation is accountable and transparent.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of loyalty and fanaticism on supporters’ loyalty in purchasing original merchandise. Fanaticism was proposed to mediate the effect of loyalty on purchase. About 100 samples from supporters of Persela Lamongan football club were used to test the proposed model. Data were collected by questionnaire and tested its validity and reliability. We apply Partial Least Square (PLS) method to test the hypothesis. Based on the research results, it could be concluded that fanaticism did not affect purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, it had been proven that supporter loyalty had a positive effect on fanaticism, supporter loyalty had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. It means that fanaticism was not able to strengthen the influence of supporter loyalty on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Marketing is the process of selling goods and services that aims to meet and satisfy customer wants. The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of product quality, word of mouth, and store image on purchasing decisions in Amigo Pedan store, Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia. The population in this study is the visitors of Amigo Pedan with a sample of 91 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was incidental sampling. Primary data was collected using questionnaires. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research showed that product quality, word of mouth, and store image have significant and positive effects on purchasing decisions in the store, simultaneously. But, only the word of mouth has a significant effect on customers’ purchasing decisions in the store, partially.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of netizen actors on social media in the digital marketing of a product brand, like #HondaBeAT. Nowadays, the use of social media to exchange information is increasing for the dissemination of messages and other contents. In the digital marketing ecosystem, social media plays an important role in introducing products, enhancing a positive image, and building relationships with customers. The use of social media platforms, such as Twitter and Instagram, has attracted the attention of the younger generation, especially the millennial generation (Y) and the post-millennial generation (Z). The level of effectiveness of digital marketing is also influenced and determined by the progress of netizen actors, such as followers, influencers, and buzzers. Their role is increasingly important to convey information more effectively through various product and service brand content on various social media platforms. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyze data from social media conversations on Twitter and Instagram within a certain period of time with the help of the Drone Emprit Academic (DEA) application. This research reveals the progress of netizen actors on the company’s official accounts of Twitter and Instagram as a basic understanding for designing and compiling digital marketing strategies using product brand hashtags. This study also found that the netizen actors studied had their respective roles in strengthening the delivery of messages and content on social media.
