Abstract

Cribs are one of the baby support products used after the baby is born. Parents as consumers expect products that are used more concise, in accordance with the residence and the price is more economical by not reducing the quality of products and still refers to the principle of ergonomics, so that the product is less competitive with existing products in the market therefore it is necessary to design ababy crib and ergonomic multifunction cabinets by using the productrecycle drum. The purpose of this design is expected to answer and be a solution to the wishes of consumers, especially parents who have a baby by presenting new innovations. The design uses anthropometry theory to produce a convenient product used by the user. Anthropometric data collection is done directly with the required body dimensions are height upright, shoulder width and hand reach. Stages of data processing ie test data adequacy, test data uniformity and percentile calculations. The Results of design of ergonomic crib and cupboardare made based on the anthropometry of the human body, as well as economical because it is made using recycled materials....

Abstract

Dengan semakin meningkatnya persaingan pada bidang perminyakan, maka perusahaan harus melakukan perbaikan peralatan untuk menjaga kestabilan perusahaan dalam mencapai visinya. Salah satu faktor yang perlu diperhatikan adalah sistem perawatan pencegahan (preventive maintenance). PT. Petrochina International Jabung Ltd merupakan salah satu  perusahaan  yang bergerak di bidang Minyak Dan Gas Bumi yang  berada  di  Kabupaten Tanjab  Timur Kec. Geragai. Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang Analisa Keandalan dan Penentuan persediaan Komponen Pengering Udara (Air Dryer) di PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. yang mana diperlukan untuk mengetahui keandalan  apabila terjadi gangguan kerusakan spare part . Untuk pemecahan permasalahan ini perlu dilakukan satu metode reliability dengan menerapkan fungsi laju kerusakan distribusi weibull untuk menentukan jumlah persediaan komponen kritis dalam jangka waktu satu tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua komponen kritis berdistribusi weibull. Berdasarkan komponen kritis yang telah ditentukan dengan metode ABC dikaitkan dengan fungsi laju kerusakan pada metode reliability maka persediaan untuk komponen kritis selama periode satu tahun untuk masing komponen kritis adalah Pre Filter dan After Filter  sebanyak 4 unit pemesanan optimal (Q*) dan 2 unit titik pemesanan kembali (r).

Abstract

PT. Golden Energi Mandiangin adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam Manufacturing Crumb Rubber dimana dalam operasionalnya memerlukan pengendalian persedian bahan baku untuk produksi. Masalah optimalisasi pemesanan bahan baku merupaka hal yang sangat penting dalam suatu perusahaan, sehingga masalah ini terus dipelajari dan dikembangkan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah metode EOQ. Penelitian dan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan, apabila menggunakan metode EOQ dalam pengadaan bahan baku akan didapatkan penghematan biaya.. Jika penyelenggaraan bahan baku didasarkan pada metode EOQ terdapat penghematan biaya tahun 2013 sebesar Rp. 392.013.491,- tahun 2014 sebesar Rp. 714.924.228,- tahun 2015 sebesar Rp. 341.627.892,-.Dengan demikian berarti ada perbedaan yang sangat nyata antara kebijaksanaan persediaan yang dilakukan menurut perusahaan dengan perhitungan menurut EOQ.

Abstract

Simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran adalah satu upaya untuk menjaga keperdulian karyawan terhadap kecelakaan yang dapat terjadi pada saat bekerja. Kualitas simulasi tanggap darurat dapat ditingkatkan dengan memperhatikan kualitas faktor pendukungnya. Faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran adalah pelatihan (training) dasar pemadam kebakaran dan pertolongan pertama serta pengarahan (sosialisasi) mengenai bagaimana prosedur simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran. Nilai koefisien regresi pelatihan dasar pemadam kebakaran dan pertolongan pertama (X1) sebesar 0,516 sedangkan pengarahan/sosialisasi simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran (X2) sebesar 0,334.  Dengan hasil ini maka dengan meningkatkan kualitas pelatihan simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran sebesar 0,516 persen lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pengarahan atau sosialisasi yang hanya 0,334 persen.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop membrane material and analyse the membrane performance in liquid waste management of CPO industry to separate suspended solids. Conventional waste treatment has not been able to reach the minimum regulatory standards that have been set. Land area constraints and waste management techniques are complex and produce large sludge volumes. Besides specifically for managing liquid organic waste, the difficulty of the process of degradation of waste due to the high quantity and content of contaminants that can reach up to 40,000-120,000 mg / l for COD. In this study composite membrane made by titanium dioxide in the membrane polyvinylidene fluoride was blend very well and suited to remove suspended solids in the wastewater. The optimization result obtained is the addition of TiO2 2% produce maximum flux with the value of 180 L / m2.hr and the percentage of 92% fitration. The results of the filtration process conditions were the total suspended solids (TSS) by 99.63% and ammonium nitrogen (NH3-N) by 92.82% is the ABFR process conditions at 2.25 ml / min, HRT at 276.93 min, MLSS concentration at 4.50 g / L, and the pH at 6.50. So it can be concluded that titanium dioxide resulted the minimise of average poresize and enhance the hydrophilicity of membrane that resulted the maximum flux of this process.

Abstract

The ship production process is largely a welding work. About one-third of the total number of jobs in the construction stage is regulated Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) which is regulates welding rules such as class material, electrodes, how to weld the bevel shape long distance bevel (gap) and slope angle. Based on the WPS used of construction HN 309 Tanker Ship the length of the bevel distance (gap) in welding SMAW is 2,63 mm. Bending tests are performed to regulate strength of materials due to loading without causing deformation. This research study aims to determine the bending strength (quality) of the welders is 1 mm plate with variants of are 100 A 120 A and 140 A. The welding method ASTM A36 plate which is do bending test to using MTS landmark ASTM E 190-2003. The flexural strength of bending test from the three specimens based on current variation is the value of current strength 140 A is best compared to the current strength of 120 A and 100 A, the value of 140 current strength is 1.76107649 kN /mm2, current value of 120 A is 1,50230752 KN/mm2 and 100 A current strength of 1,44976202 kN /mm2 with a linear regression value is 0,872. So that the 11 mm plate welding procedure with a 2 mm gap can be used in the ship building production process.

Abstract

Indonesia there are many abundant produce mainly the agriculture not dependent with one example is peanuts.The fields are in need of peanuts as a raw material for the manufacture of cheese, butter, oil, jam, candy or other food.To facilitate the work of the man in the beans then grind in a grinder machine make peanuts.At this point has created peanut grinder machine automatic movements using electric motor.This research was conducted to find out perbedan the intensity of noise and impact on the impact of the use of the old engines with new engines.The data obtained from the measurement of the intensity of the noise using the android application and filling the questionnaires by respondents.Based on statistical tests Paired Sample t-Tests on the get that there was a decrease in the intensity of the noise of 33.60%.Test validity and reliability the questionnaire stated 7 questions (old machine) and 13 questions (new machine) in kuesiner is valid because r count > r tables, and the results of Chronbach's > 0.60 Alpha so in say reliability.From the comparison of the data of the questionnaire can be seen with the new engines occurred quite a significant difference in the comfort of the operator's wor

Abstract

Modification of meat grinder machine 8 kg capacity has been developed to get an applicable machine for fish meat processing in micro and small enterprise like that warung pempek, kemplang and crackers businesses. The machine is designed more simply that driven by AC motor 0.5 HP with speed rotation of 1400 rpm. The results using 3 types of fish shows that average capacity of machine is 12,13 kg/ hour. In addition, the element of convenience in washing the grinder blade is a major aspect to consider in modification.

Abstract

In the industrial application, the pneumatik system was used to help the production process that uses automatic control. The pneumatik system trainer that already exists in the Politeknik Jambi workshop still uses a manual control system. In this discussion, the writer wants to modify the PLC-based electro-pneumatik policy (programmer logic controller). Pneumatik systems were all systems that use power in the form of compressed air and are used to produce work. The first compressed air by the compressor and stored in the storage tube. The storage air was treated so that the pneumatik system can function correctly. The compressed air was regulated for use by a pneumatik control system, which is connected to the solenoid valve to drive three cylinders of double-acting opposite motion..

Abstract

As Small and Medium size enterprise(SME) still using manual and simple tools in their operation as done by Bude Wagino SME which is located at Sungai Bahar,Batanghari. This SME specialized at making kripik Tempe(Tempe chips). Based on observation and interview at the SME, the workers complain that they experience over fatigue, back pain and sore muscle in their arms. The purpose of this research is to design ergonomic slicer tempe tools by using  ENASE concept. This research using mixed method which using antropometri data such as height of sitting elbow,normal range,far reach, and grip width as quantitative method. As qualitative method used for interview the workers. The data of workers percentile will be used as based design of the tools.By using the tool will be expected to decrease the workers complain and can increase the productivity.
