Media Bahasa, Sastra dan Budaya yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Sosial ilmu dan Budaya Universitas Pakuan dengan E-ISSN 2622-4356. Jurnal ini memuat makalah, pemikiran kritis, gagasan ilmiah, dan hasil penelitian pada bidang bahasa, sastra, budaya, komunikasi dan seni dalam bentuk artikel ilmiah dari para peneliti, akademisi, seniman, budayawan, dan mahasiswa dengan berbagai metode, baik kualitatif, kuantitatif, metode campuran, berbagai pendekatan dan teori bahasa, sastra,budaya, komunikasi dan seni. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun berbentuk digital. Jurnal ini menjalin kerja sama dengan editor berstatus guru besar dari beberapa universitas yang akan meninjau artikel sebelum dipublikasikan. Setiap artikel yang dikirmkan akan ditinjau dan ditelaah (review) dengan metode double blind oleh dua orang penelaah (reviewer). Media Bahasa Sastra dan Budaya Wahana telah terdaftar di Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze communication activities in the Reak Juarta Putra art performance as a form of gratitude for the abundance of rice yields by the people of Ciguruwik Village, Cinunuk Village, Bandung Regency, West Java. Researchers used a qualitative approach with the ethnographic method of communication. The results of this study show: 1) the situation of the ritual communication of the Juarta Putra reak art performance where the implementation took place in the yard of the Traditional Stakeholders' House in Ciguruwik Village; 2). The communicative event of the Juarta Putra reak art performance ritual took place with tawasulan, traditional rituals, opening by traditional stakeholders, art performances, and closing rituals by traditional stakeholders; 3). Communicative acts of the Juarta Putra reak art performance ritual, namely there are symbols of messages and philosophies from ancestors that are believed by the people of Kampung Ciguruwik which exist in the meaning of harvesting rice, burning incense and offerings. The conclusion of the ritual communication activity for the Juarta Putra reak art performance is an activity in communication activities that is routine every year, while the ritual for the Juarta Putra reak art performance is a series of unique events and has characteristics that distinguish it from other traditions.

Abstract

Limpakuwus Pine Forest is a new tourist attraction located in the Baturaden Tourist Area, about 40 km from Banyumas Regency. Furthermore, the strategic location of the Limpakuwus Pine Forest, which is at the foot of Mount Slamet, makes the Limpakuwus Pine Forest have beauty and natural beauty that is suitable as a tourist attraction for family, friends or couples.  This study aims to analyze the influence of destination attributes and the quality of tourist services on tourist satisfaction in the Limpakuwus Pine Forest tourist attraction. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sample selection technique is carried out with certain considerations (purposive sampling) to tourists who have visited the Limpakuwus Pine Forest. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 78 respondents and literature sources that were in accordance with the research topic. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variable of destination attributes had a significant effect on the variable of tourist satisfaction. In addition, the variable quality of tourist services also has a significant effect on the variable of tourist satisfaction. For subsequent researchers, there is still much that can be researched related to the course of tourism activities in the Limpakuwus Pine Forest, such as tourist loyalty, promotional activities through social media and the application of sustainable tourism.

Abstract

Prose literature is a literary work that has fictional characters in it. One of them is a short story Tamu by Budi Darma which has fictional characters with psychological phenomena like humans in general. The psychological phenomena of these characters can be analyzed with a literary psychology approach. Guest short stories by Budi Daram will be the object of this research. The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological phenomenon of Tini's character in the short story Tamu by Budi Darma using a literary psychology approach, especially Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory because this research focuses on the analysis of the id, ego, and superego of Tini's character in Budi Darma's short short story Tamu by Budi Darma. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The data in this study comes from the short story Tamu Karya Budi Darma, in the form of sentence quotes or dialogues that show the personality structure of Tini's character. Data collection techniques using reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the structure of the Id and ego is more dominant in controlling Tini in her daily life. However, the superego can limit the ego and id in Tini, making her loosen up her ego and id a little. These three personality elements greatly influence Tini in making decisions and actions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the group communication in improving the quality of work of Job guidance team from inmate create quality coffee they are original made, one of the important roles to keep the inmates from being aggressive and preventing behavior that causes anarchic action requires a precise communication pattern strategy approach, namely assertive communication and an activity that can get rid of negative thoughts and hone their skills. Assertive communication communicates what you think, feel, and want clearly and unequivocally to others without feeling intimidating, violating, and belittling the rights of yourself and others. The Depok Class 1 detention center has a cell block with 400 inmates out of a total of 1100 inmates who are guarded by one officer by taking turns divided into three shifts in 1 day. Inmates who are employed in detention centers or called tamping, work guidance is a form of activity to improve the abilities of inmates and help them to fill their time with positive things. The tamping in the guidance that we highlight is the specialty coffee skills section, where this coffee is one of the biggest selling commodities owned by Class 1 Depok Rutan, this is also because the tamping inmates are dedicated to making coffee with their own characteristics, namely coffee with the Krabu brand.

Abstract

Sundanese as one of the largest regional languages in Indonesia after Javanese is increasingly being eroded due to the demands of an increasingly advanced era has resulted in less attention being paid to Sundanese language subjects at every level of education. To increase the passion for learning Sundanese subjects, especially at SDN Kencana 3, Bogor City, try to use active learning learning methods, so there are interesting things to research, considering the location of the school is in a heterogeneous elite housing complex environment from various provinces throughout Indonesia. Even the area outside the complex that surrounds it in terms of the use of everyday language is closer to the Betawi language area, but by using active learning the value of students' academic achievement in Sundanese subjects shows good and satisfactory results.

Abstract

This research elaborates the rebranding strategy of Gen 98.7 fm through MPR in relation to the decline of Gen listeners in 2016. If no action was taken, it is feared that their decline of listeners will affect the brand. Wanting to strengthen the Gen FM as a radio station that supports local music and provides content that is pooled locally. This research illustrates how the rebranding process of Gen fm suara musik terkini into gen fm generasi suara musik Indonesia, accomplished in perspective to Marketing Public Relation. To achieve that goal, GEN FM used strategy rebranding through Marketing Public Relation as tools. The research approach used was a qualitative approach to acquire descriptive written and oral data thus resulting in a deep explanation about rebranding through Marketing Public Relation. The research results show that the rebranding strategy of Gen 98.7 fm GSMI was a success at a programming level and resulted in a high engagement in terms of target market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of public relations in the socialization of K3 information to employees of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were KUPT railroad, KAUR railroad, and employees of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta. Data collection technique using observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity technique was determined using the source triangulation technique. The results showed that the role of public relations at PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta as follow: (1) the role of public relations as communicator the organization and the internal and external community, namely:delivery of information on policies, activities, financial reports, appeals of disease outbreaks, achievements or achievements, as well as disaster emergency information at PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta which is addressed to the internal and external community of the organization. (2) the role of public relations as relationship the organizations it represents is carried out in collaboration with the public and journalist’s media partners. (3) the role of public relations as back up management namely public relations carries out the activies of carrying out fact finding and communicating processes to be used as material for consideration of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta’s policies. (4) the role of public relations as good image maker of the organization is to provide services openly to community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi budaya digital dalam interaksi komunikasi interpersonal antara penjual dan pembeli melalui layanan pesan antar makanan online di kalangan mahasiswa Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskritif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan dua temuan utama yaitu proses komunikasi dan hambatan komunikasi. Proses komunikasi, menunjukkan bahwa layanan pesan antar makanan online memungkinkan penjual dan pembeli untuk berinteraksi secara virtual melalui platform digital. Mereka dapat melakukan transaksi, bertukar informasi, dan memberikan umpan balik dengan mudah. Hambatan komunikasi dalam interaksi antara penjual dan pembeli melalui layanan pesan antar makanan online. Hambatan-hambatan tersebut termasuk keterbatasan ekspresi emosi, ketidakjelasan komunikasi tulisan, dan risiko keamanan informasi. Untuk mengatasi hambatan-hambatan ini, penjual dan pembeli perlu mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi yang baik dan memahami dinamika komunikasi dalam lingkungan digital. Simpulannya, bahwa transformasi budaya digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam interaksi komunikasi interpersonal antara penjual dan pembeli melalui layanan pesan antar makanan online. Meskipun terdapat hambatan komunikasi, teknologi digital memberikan manfaat dalam mempercepat proses komunikasi dan memperluas ruang interaksi antara penjual dan pembeli. Penting bagi penjual dan pembeli untuk memahami dan mengatasi hambatan-hambatan tersebut guna memastikan komunikasi yang efektif dan memuaskan dalam lingkungan digital yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Dalam menerjemahkan dialog film berbahasa Inggris kedalam Bahasa Indonesia memiliki batasan dan tantangan tertentu kepada sang penerjemah. Hal ini terkait dengan perbedaan nilai moral antara Indonesia dengan negara sumber. Selain itu, kesulitan menerjemahkan kata-kata kotor sama dengan menerjemahkan lelucon, keduanya sulit untuk diterjemahkan dengan menghasilkan efek yang sama antara bahasa sumber dengan bahasa sasaran karena banyak hal yang tidak bisa diterjemahkan secara harfiah. Karya Ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk membahas metode yang digunakan oleh penerjemah dalam menerjemahkan kata-kata kotor ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Teori Vinay dan Darbelnet (1995) beserta Koponen (2010) digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat akurasi penerjemahan dengan cara membandingkan teks sumber dengan teks sasaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dialog diterjemahkan dengan mayoritas nada bicara relatif menjadi lebih lembut dan relatif sopan sehingga sasaran audiens menjadi lebih luas. Saran untuk penerjemah adalah memperhatikan jenis tayangan yang akan diterjemahkan agar dapat mempertahankan ekspresi dan emosi pada film yang diterjemahkan.

Abstract

Pendekatan pola komunikasi yang digunakan secara eksternal merupakan sebuah langkah dalam hal organisasi melakukan komunikasi ke publik atau ke pasarnya mengenai program penjualan dalam prencanaan pemasaran terpadu yang telah disusun sebelumnya. Pola komunikasi organisasi dengan pihak publiknya ini memiliki kompleksitas yang cukup tinggi dan perlu dimaksimalkan supaya tujuan organisasi tercapai dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu memberikan gambaran tentang pola komunikasi organisasi dalam komunikasi penjualan terpadu dan aliran komunikasi yang dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan oleh Ardiya Collection. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi pemasaran terpadu (IMC), penerapan pola jaringan komunikasi organisasi, dan aliran komunikasi di dalam organisasi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data penelitian melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian data dan menyusun kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu pola komunikasi yang tengah dilaksanakan oleh Ardiya Collection yaitu pola bintang atau biasa dikenal pola semua saluran. Proses aliran komunikasi yang terjadi yaitu komunikasi horizontal.
