Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi experimental approach which consists of pictorial card media as independent variables and learning outcomes as dependent variables. The purpose of this study for to determine whether there is an influence on the learning outcomes of animal motion organ subthemes through the learning media of illustrated cards. This research uses a quasi experimental method. This research was conducted at Karadenan Kaum State Elementary School in Bogor Regency in the class VA and VB Even Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The analysis technique used is the prerequisite test data analysis which includes data error normality test, homogeneity variance test, then hypothesis testing using t test. Based on the results of data analysis the learning outcomes obtained through the Learning Card Picture Media with an N-Gain value of 74.62. with 100 percent mastery learning outcomes and without pictorial card learning media obtained an N-Gain score of 62.86 with 75 percent mastery learning outcomes. The results of hypothesis testing stated H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted because tcount (3.2036) greater than ttable (1.99346). Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that, there is an influence on the learning outcomes of animal motion organ subthemes through the media of learning cards. The most effective learning media on animal motion organ subthemes is the Picture Card Learning media.

Abstract

ABSTRACTA good learning strategy, should have to reduce the psychological burden of students when the learning process. The purpose of the study is to get an idea of the magnitude of the cognitive load of students in aproject based learningon the subject of learning audio-visual media. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. These research subjects are students of the fifth semester Biology Education Studies Program Pakuan University academic year 2016/2017 as many as 50 people. Student cognitive load was measured on three components, namely the mental effort students to describeextraneous cognitiveload(ECL), the ability to receive and process information to describeinstrisic cognitive load(ICL), and the learning outcomes to describegermane cognitive load(GCL). Measurement of ability to receive and process information usingtask complexity worksheet(Brunkenet al.,2010). Measurements mental effort using a questionnaireof subjectiveratting scale(Likert scale).Measurement of learning outcomes in the form essay, referring to the standard of reasoning developed by Marzanoet al(1993).The results showed that the ability to receive and process information very high which means that ICL is in the range of working memory, mental effort which means low student ECL is also low, and a fairly high learning outcomes and describe the magnitude of GCL. The results of the correlation calculations between the three components of cognitive load showed a negative correlation between the ICL with ECL (r =-0.017), the positive correlation between the ICL with GCL (r =0,252), while ECL with GCL has a value of a positive correlation (r = 0.135) , These results illustrate that the GCL obtained by students at least caused by ICL. It can be concluded that the student is still at a high cognitive load while attending classproject based learning. Keyword: cognitive load, project based learning, audio visual mediaABSTRAKSrategi pembelajaran yang baik seyogyanya harus mampu mengurangi beban psikologis mahasiswa ketika proses pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian itu sendiri yaitu untuk mendapatkan gambaran besarnya beban kognitif mahasiwa dalam sebuah pembelajaran project based learning pada matakuliah media pembelajaran audio visual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Pakuan tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 50 orang. Beban kognitif mahasiswa diukur pada tiga komponen, yaitu usaha mental siswa untuk menggambarkan extraneous cognitive load (ECL), kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi untuk menggambarkan instrisic cognitive load (ICL), dan hasil belajar untuk menggambarkan germane cognitive load (GCL). Mengukur kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi menggunakan task complexity worksheet (Brunken et al., 2010). Pengukuran usaha mental menggunakan angket subjective ratting scale (skala Likert). Pengukuran hasil belajar berupa soal essay, mengacu pada standar penalaran yang dikembangkan oleh Marzano et al (1993). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi sangat tinggi yang berarti ICL berada pada rentang memori kerja, usaha mental siswa rendah yang berarti ECL juga rendah, dan hasil belajar cukup tinggi dan menggambarkan besarnya GCL. Hasil perhitungan korelasi antar ketiga komponen beban kognitif menunjukkan, korelasi negatif antara ICL dengan ECL (r=-0,017), korelasi positif antara ICL dengan GCL (r=0,252), sedangkan ECL dengan GCL mempunyai nilai korelasi positif (r=0,135). Hasil ini menggambarkan bahwa GCL yang diperoleh oleh siswa sedikitnya diakibatkan oleh ICL. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa masih berada pada beban kognitif yang tinggi saat mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis proyekKata kunci: cognitive load, project based learning, audio visual media

Abstract

The purposeof this study is to assess and analyze the correlation between education level, income with Behavior Clean and Healthy Food Region Traders Pakuan University. The study was conducted at the food vendors in the surrounding area Pakuan University in 2016 with a sample of 40 vendors were taken by purposive sampling. Retrieval of the data used by distributing questionnaires and direct observation interviews. Instrument calibration is done using expert judgment. Data were analyzed using statistical test of correlation and linear regression, hypothesis testing was done on a significant level of 0.01 with SPSS 20. Results showed that: 1) positive and significant correlation between education and behavior of clean and healthy food traders in the region Unpak with correlation coefficients (ry1) of 0.778, and the coefficient of determination (r2y1) of 0.606 with a regression equation Y = 0.222 + 0.746 X1. 2) positive and significant correlation between income with hygienic behavior and healthy food traders in the region Unpak with correlation coefficients (ry2) of 0.672 and a coefficient of determination (r2y2) amounted to 0.032 with the regression equation Y = 102.599 + 0.154 X2. The conclusion of this study is that the behavior of clean and healthy living can be improved by improving education and income food traders in the region Pakuan University Bogor.Keywords: Education, Income, Clean and Healthy Behavior

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe study is aimed to investigate the effectiveness of giving vocabulary game on students' ability in grammar class. The study was conducted to the first semester of English Education Study Program students in Faculty of Teachers Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University.The population of the study is the first semester students of the English Department, Faculty of Teachers Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University.  From the population, the sample of the study is one experimental class consisted of 25 students. The method of the study is quasi experimental research.  The instruments used by the researcher are test and non test.  The test instruments are questions about tenses and the non test is in forms of questionnaire. From the study, it can be concluded that the students’ ability in using new verbs in constructing sentences based on tenses taught  has significantly been increased.  It is shown from the high score of students’ test. The calculatation of df (degree of freedom) is gained from df = (N-1) = 11-1 = 10 and concern with the t table value with df = 11, the value of tt table degree of significance 5% is compared to t0.  The t-table is 2.21 and with tt T0 =11,2 which is greater than tt=2,04 we can see that H0 is rejected so there are significant differences between pre-test and post-test. Based on the data calculation above, it is found out that there are significant differences mean between pre-test and posttest. Therefore, the writer concludes that the use of throwing words games as one of vocabulay games is effective in teaching grammar. Keywords: vocabulary games, grammar ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas pemberian permainan kosakata terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam kelas tata bahasa. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa semester satu  Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pakuan. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester satu Program Studi Bahasa Inggris, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pakuan. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah satu kelas experimen yang terdiri dari 25 orang mahasiswa.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan non tes. Instrument yang berupa tes adalah soal mengenai tenses sedangkan non tes berupa kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan kata kerja baru dalam membuat kalimat berdasarkan tenses yang diajarkan mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai tes mahasiswa yang termasuk tinggi. Perhitungan df (derajat bebas) diperoleh dari  df = (N-1) = 11-1 = 10 dengan nilai tt table dan df = 11, nilai derajat signifikan t table 5% dibandingkan dengan t0. Nilai t-table adalah 2.21dan dengan tt T0 =11,2 yang nilainya lebih besar dari tt=2,04. Dengan demikian dapat dilihat bahwa H0 ditolak sehingga disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre tes dan post tes. Berdasarkan perhitungan data tersebut, ditemukan perbedaan mean yang signifikan antara pre tes dan post tes.  Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan permainan lempar kata efektif dalam pembelajaran tata bahasa.  Kata kunci: Permainan kosakata, tata bahasa

Abstract

ABSTRAKPeran penting kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi dalam menciptakan anggota organisasi yang memiliki Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Artikel ini menjelaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan dalam membangun budaya organisasi yang kondusif sehingga melahirkan seluruh anggota organisasi yang memiliki perilaku-perilaku kewargaan yang optimal sehingga mampu membawa keberhasilan organisasi. Artikel ini dipaparkan berdasarkan kajian pustaka pada beberapa literatur yang membahas terkait perilaku-perilaku organisasi. Keberhasilan organisasi tidak bisa lepas dari peran pemimpinan yang menjalankan fungsi kepemimpinannya dengan baik sehingga tercipta budaya organisasi yang optimal dalam membentuk perilaku kewarganegaraan anggota organisasi dalam kemajuan lembaga.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Budaya Organisasi, Organizational Citizenship Behavior

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah digunakan secara luas untuk meningkatkan kinerja, dalam penelitian ini akan diungkap seberapa jauh kontribusi variabel pengetahuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terhadap variabel kinerja guru. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap guru IPA SMP se-Wilayah Kota Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan pengetahuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (variable X) terhadap kinerja guru (variable Y). Besarnya kontribusi ditunjukkan oleh kekuatan kontribusi sebesar 38,6. Perubahan setiap satu unit variabel pengetahuan guru tentang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi akan menyebabkan perubahan kenaikan kinerja guru sebesar 1,934 unit. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini dapat direkomendasikan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja seorang tenaga pendidik dapat dilakukan melalui upaya peningkatan pengetahuannya tentang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTeachers' organizational commitment is the key to the implementation of quality education. Without high organizational commitment of teacher, the implementation of quality education is unlikely to materialize. Therefore, a clear description and conception of teachers' organizational commitment is needed. The purpose of this research is to describe the teachers' organizational commitment in depth decription. This research uses literature review method. The results of the research were then presented to answer the 3 research problems: the nature of teachers organizational commitment, the processes and factors that shaped the organizational commitment of teachers, and the ways to develop and enhance the organizational commitment of teachers.Keywords: organizational commitment, theoretical review, literature methodABSTRAKKomitmen organisasi guru merupakan kunci pelaksanaan pendidikan yang bermutu. Abstract

APPLICATION OF THE ROLE TO PLAY LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE RESULTS LEARN IN LESSONS SOCIAL SCIENCESApplication of Role Play Learning Model to Improve Learning Outcomes in Social Science Learning (This Study with Classroom Action Research Approach for Class IV Students of State Elementary School 1 Walantaka Walantaka District Serang City 2017/2018 Academic Year). This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). From the results of observations of the cycle I data on student learning outcomes in learning, teachers only get a score of 61.3. Students have started to be active, this is evidenced by the results of student observations that have reached 61.3. Then from the results of student learning in the first cycle of Meeting 1 obtained data, student learning completeness only reached 45.83 with an average value of 54.17. From the data of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of meeting 2 results of learning observation, the teacher gets a score of 74.9. students have started active, this is evidenced by the results of student observations that have reached 74.9. Then from the results of student learning in the first cycle of Meeting 2 obtained data, student learning completeness only reached 70.83 with an average value of 67.35. From the data of student learning outcomes in cycle II learning observation results, the teacher gets a score of 86.4., Students have begun to be active, this is evidenced by the results of student observations that have reached 88.89 Then from student learning outcomes in cycle II obtained data, student learning completeness reaches 100% with an average value of 77.39. Based on the above data it is concluded that the application of role playing learning models can improve learning outcomes in social studies lessons at SD Negeri 1 Walantaka, Walantaka District, Serang City in 2017/2018.

Abstract

AbstrakKeterampilan bertanya sangat penting dewasa ini terutama dalam pembelajaran sains. Keterampilan tersebut penting karena hal tersebut ada dalam tahap penelitian ilmiah. Diantaranya adalah bertanya untuk mencari masalah, bertanya untuk merumuskan masalah penelitian, bertanya bagaimana melakukan penelitian, dan bertanya bagaimana menemukan solusi dari fenomena yang ditemukan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana profil kualitas keterampilan bertanya mahasiswa calon guru yang nantinya akan terjun langsung ke sekolah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 82 mahasiswa calon guru program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Pakuan yang mengontrak mata kuliah kajian fisika dasar pada semester empat. Mahasiswa tersenut berasal dari tiga kelas yaitu kelas A, D, dan F. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tiga kali pembelajaran dengan menggunakan praktikum yang sama pada setiap kelasnya, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dengan Teknik pengambilan data yaitu rekaman video, observasi, dan wawancara informal. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan format analisis kualitas keterampilan bertanya diadaptasi dari Cautinho dan Almeida (2014). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan jumlah pertanyaan yang diungkapkan oleh mahasiswa dari kegiatan praktikum pertama hingga terakhir. Kategori kualitas keterampilan bertanya mahasiswa program studi PGSD dengan jumlah terbanyak yaitu pada pertanyaan tertutup (n=119) yang termasuk ke dalam kategori keterampilan bertanya rendah, sedangkan kategori pertanyaan terbuka yang termasuk ke dalam kategori keterampilan bertanya tingkat tinggi, memiliki jumlah yang lebih sedikit yaitu dengan jumlah 43 pertanyaan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kategori kualitas keterampilan bertanya mahasiswa program studi PGSD masih pada level kategori rendah.   Kata Kunci: Keterampilan bertanya, Kualitas bertanya, Pembelajaran Sains, Mahasiswa calon guru, Praktikum AbstractNow days, generated question is really important especially in science learning because it is embedded in scientific research. There are questioning for seeking problem, formulate research problem, how is the research method, and how to find a solution from discovered phenomenon. However, the aim of this research is to investigate how is the questions quality of prospective teacher students that will teach at school soon. Subject in this research is 82 prospective teacher from Primary Teacher Education study program (PTE) Pakuan University that take Fundamental of Physics Courses in fourth semester. Those prospective teachers come from three different classes, which is A, D, and F classes. This research is done in three experimental learning with the same treatment for those classes. Research method that is used was descriptive. The instrument that is used in this research is observation sheets with collecting data technique video recording, observation, and informal interview. Data analysis used the generating questions quality form that was adapted from Cautinho and Almeida (2014). The result of this research, there is an improvement for total question that is delivered by prospective teachers during the first experimental learning until the third experimental learning. The most number of the quality category for generating question of prospective teachers is closed question (lower level) (n=119) and the least number is open question (high level) (n=43).It can be conclude that the quality category for generating question of primiray teacher educations’ prospective teachers is in lower level. Keywords: Generating question, Questions quality, Science learning, Prospective teachers, Experimental learning.

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa baik kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa serta peningkatan hasil belajar mereka setelah pembelajaran berlangsung dengan menggunakan pendekatan ekspositori (Metode Bermain Kartu) konsep Echinodermata. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) bentuk kolaboratif parsipatoris. Hasil data diperoleh dengan menggunakan uji post tes untuk hasil belajar kognitif siswa sedangkan hasil belajar sikap dan psikomotor siswa menggunakan persentase dari angket yang diisi oleh obserfer. Hasil penelitian terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan ekspositori pada konsep Echinodermata diperoleh data yaitu 1) Hasil belajar kognitif siswa berdasarkan rata-rata hasil belajar postes pada siklus ke-I dengan nilai 60,75 dan siklus ke-2 dengan nilai 81.38. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar secara signifikan dengan rata-rata nilai gain sebesar 2 dari nilai maksimal 20,63. 2) Keterampilan yang meiputi ranah afektif dan psikomotor. siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung berkembang kearah positif. Hal tersebut terlihat pada keterampilan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 60.9 %, siklus II sebesar 97,1%. 3) Dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut didukung dari hasil wawancara dan observasi selama pembelajaran berlangsung yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar mereka berkembang kearah positif.Kata Kunci : metode bermain kartu, hasil belajarABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to find out students achievement includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor as well as the improvement of their achievement after using expository approach (playing card method) of Echinodermataconcept.Classroom action research in the form of collaborative parcipatoris is used in this research. Data collection technique is gained through post-test for cognitive achievement, while the affective and psychomotor result is collected through questionnaire. The result shows that 1) cognitive result based on the average post-test achievement on cycle I is 60,75 and cycle 2 is 81.38. The result shows that there is a significant improvement of students achievement with gain value around 2 from maximum score of 20,63. 2) the skill covering students affective and psychomotor domain during teaching learning process is developing towards positive direction. It can be seen through students skill on cycle I which is 60.9 %, and cycle II around 97,1%. 3) from the learning achievement it can be said that there is an improvement. This statement is supported by the result from interview and observation during teaching learning process which suggested that students achievement is developing towards positive direction.Keywords: playing card method, learning achievement
