Abstract

This research emerged from several obstacles in the field, namely students' difficulties in understanding digital technical design material with Ibis Paint. The aims of this research are : 1) to develop an E-LKPD for digital fashion drawing at Private Vocational School, 2) to determine the feasibility of a digital fashion drawing E-LKPD. This research used the RD method with a 4-D development model (define, design, development, and disseminate). The validation and trial stages were carried out to assess the feasibility of E-LKPD. Material experts and media experts play a role in validation to obtain input regarding the appropriateness in terms of material and media. The feasibility test was carried out through a questionnaire to class XI students at Setia Budi Binjai Private Vocational School, second semester. Data analysis uses a five-scale score (Likert scale) for the predetermined assessment categories. The results of this research are: 1) validation of E-LKPD drawing mode according to material experts "Very Good" with an average percentage score of 94% and according to media experts "Very Good" with an average percentage score of 87.4%. 2) The feasibility of E-LKPD drawing mode is included in the "Very Good" category. The average score percentage results in the small group trial were 80% with "Good" criteria, the medium group was 87.5% with "Very Good" criteria, and the large group was 92.8% with "Very Good" criteria.

Abstract

Mathematics, a compulsory subject from elementary school, is essential for developing critical thinking, reasoning, creative thinking, communication and collaboration. However, the ability mentioned above in Indonesian students is still low, as evidenced by the results of PISA and TIMSS. The 4C capabilities, which consist of Critical Thinking, Reasoning, Creative Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration, are very important for 21st century learning. To improve the ability to think creatively, it is necessary to have an innovation that has an impact on student learning outcomes, one of which is through learning media. Geometry, a popular subject in junior high school mathematics, poses challenges for students. This study to improve creative thinking skills and geometry learning media, researchers developed mobile-based geometry learning media using the ADDIE model. The process of developing mobile-based geometry learning media is carried out through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Learning using learning media that has been developed is classified as effective. Students can master the material presented in learning using mobile-based geometry learning media.

Abstract

It is very important to manage student learning so that lectures run well. One effort that can be made is to improve learning management capabilities. Developing a learning model, in this case, the managing, drawing, searching (MDS) model, could be an option for development. This research aims to develop an MDS model for use with students. The method used is research and development (RD) using the ADDIE model approach. The results of this research show that there are three stages of the MDS model, namely manage, which is the stage of problem management that will be discussed by students. The second stage is to describe the problem to be solved along with the solution. The third stage is searching, namely the stage of finding facts related to the solution to the problem. The results of the validation of the MDS model show very valid results by expert 1 with a score of 3.70, and expert 2 with a score of 3.90, which can be interpreted as the MDS model being suitable for use in learning. This research concludes that the MDS model can be used in learning to improve learning management capabilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the implementation of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics-Based Project-Based Learning Model affects the learning outcomes of students in the sub-theme of project-based activities and literacy. The research method used was a quasi-experimental two-group design at Bondongan Public Elementary School in Bogor City. The subjects of this study consist of 63 students of fifth grade. This research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the STEAM-based project-based learning model had an effect on student learning outcomes in the sub-theme of project-based activities and literacy. This is evident from the N-Gain score in the experimental group of 69, while the control group obtained an N-Gain score of 39. The hypothesis testing results state that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because t-count (14.56) is greater than t-table (1.9996). Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the STEAM-based Project-Based Learning Model effectively improves student learning outcomes in the sub-theme of project-based activities and literacy. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide new knowledge about how the implementation of innovative learning models can improve the learning outcomes of students in elementary school.

Abstract

Motivation is a person's inner desire to achieve a goal. Motivation can come from within oneself or from external or environmental factors. The two types of learning motivation are extrinsic (external) and intrinsic (deep). Rewards and praise for good work are examples of extrinsic motivation. These two types of motivation work together and strongly support learning success during the learning process, teachers must pay attention to student motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of fourth grade  students to learn mathematics with problem-based learning methods. This research was conducted by classroom action research study. Fourth grade students become subjects of this research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and learning motivation questionnaires. The results showed that the average motivation score of students increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In Cycle I, the count was 66.37, but in Cycle II the count increased to 90.96. These results suggest that problem-based learning, combined with an instructive cultural approach (CRT) to the environment can significantly increase students' desire to learn as an alternative to improving student learning outcomes
