Ekologia adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan untuk mengakomodasi tulisan hasil penelitian bagi sivitas akademika Universitas Pakuan khususnya dan instansi lain di luar Universitas Pakuan pada umumnya. Jurnal ini memuat artikel primer yang bersumber langsung dari hasil penelitian Ilmu Dasar dan Lingkungan Hidup. Ekologia diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan Oktober oleh Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam-Universitas Pakuan. Abstract

This study aims to map the level of animal food security in Indonesia using multidimensional scaling method. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, namely the average data of consumption of animal protein (gram / capita / days) and the average data of consumption of animal protein (rupiah / capita / month) in 2015 from all provinces in Indonesia. The result of the research shows that group I is food resistant in all animal food commodities, namely West Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatera, Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau Islands, Banten, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan. Group II is food resistant in fish, eggs and milk, less food in the meat of North Sumatra, Bengkulu, West Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, West Papua and Papua. Group III is food-resistant in meat, eggs and milk, lack of food in fish such as DKI Jakarta, West Java, DI Yogyakarta, and Bali. Group IV is food-resistant in eggs and milk, less food in fish and meat such as Lampung, Central Java, and East Java. Group V is food-resistant in eggs and milk, food-susceptible to fish, and less food for less meat, namely Aceh, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo and Maluku. Group VI status is susceptible to food in fish, less food in meat, eggs and milk of West Sulawesi and North Maluku. Group VII is under-food in all animal food commodities, namely East Nusa Tenggara. Stress value of 11.15% and R2 value of 95.01% indicate that multidimensional scaling method is suitable for use in this research. Keywords: animal protein, food security, multidimensional scaling method,

Abstract

Human physical exercise is influenced by hemoglobin levels in the blood, stimulant testing of underlying fatigue should be tested for Hb levels. This study aims to determine the increase in stimulation and hemoglobin levels of white rats using beetroot and apple juice. The method used for stimulant testing was the endurance test using a rotarod and for measuring Hb levels using the sahli method with a hemometer. The data observed were the duration of resistance on rotarod stick which were rotated, the experimental animals used were 25 animals divided into 5 treatment groups with each group of 5 rats namely: group of beetroot and apple (1: 1) (2.8g: 0.63mg / 200gBB), comparison (2: 1) of (5.6g: 0.63mg / 200gBB), comparison (1: 2) of (2.8g: 1.26mg / 200gBB), negative control (-) (CMC-Na 0.5%) and positive  control (+) caffeine 20 mg / 200g BB. Dosage treatment is carried out in one day.The results showed that the combination of beetroot and apple juice had an increase in stimulant and hemoglobin levels of white rats with the most effective dose for stimulant enhancement and Hb levels were found in the second dose compared to beetroot and apple juice (2: 1) 5.6 g / 200gBB: 0.63 g / 200gBB.

Abstract

Penelitian penerapan nanopartikel propolis Trigona spp asal Bogor sebagai antibakteri Escherichia coli secara in-vitro bertujuan membuat sediaan nanopartikel dari propolis Trigona spp asal Bogor (nanopropolis). Pembuatan nanopropolis dilakukan dengan cara penyalutan dan homogenizer pada kecepatan 22.000 rpm selama satu jam. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui empat tahap, yaitu tahap ekstraksi raw propolis Trigona spp, tahap pembuatan sediaan nanopropolis, tahap melakukan uji aktivitas nanopropolis sebagai antibakteri dan menentukan konsentrasi hambat tumbuh minimum (KHTM) nanopropolis terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Propolis Trigona spp asal Bogor dapat dibuat nanopartikel dengan ukuran partikel mencapai 192 – 273 nm. Ukuran partikel nanopropolis dideteksi menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy. Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri menunjukkan bahwa pada konsentrasi 0,02%-10% nanopropolis aktif sebagai antibakteri terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli.  Konsentrasi hambat tumbuh minimum  nanopropolis berada di bawah konsentrasi 0,02%. Ketika dibandingkan dengan sediaan tanpa teknologi nano (propolis biasa), pada kondisi konsentrasi sama nanopropolis lebih efektif daripada propolis biasa karena zona hambat yang dihasilkan lebih besar. Kata kunci  :  Trigona spp, propolis, dan teknologi nano

Abstract

Environmental problems are still a chore for the government and the community. Humans are one of the factors that destroy the environment, which plays a big enough role. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Human Development Index on the Living Environment Quality Index in 34 Indonesian Provinces from 2016-2018. The variables used in this study, the Human Development Index (IPM) in 34 Provinces in 2016-2018 as X variable and Living Environment Quality Index (IKLH) in 34 Provinces in 2016-2018 as a Y variable. The analytical method used for this study is the panel data regression fixed effect model (FEM) with Cross Section Weight. Panel data regression analysis is a regression analysis with data structure which is a combination of cross section data and time series data. Based on the results obtained, the Human Development Index variable significantly influences the Environmental Quality Index in Indonesia. The panel data regression model that was formed was able to explain the variability of the Living Environment Quality Index in Indonesia amounting to 99.65%.

Abstract

The research Diversity and Potential paku (Pteridophyta)  in The Taman Nasional Gede Pangrango Montain Cianjur have been done. Transek and plot sample method use in this research on three area of different altitude (1600, 1900, 2200 m above sea level). The result research show there were 56 species of ferns that include in 21 families. At an altitude of 1600 m above sea level diversity ferns include in the medium category with value 1,48, at an altitude of 1900 m above sea level diversity ferns include in the medium category with value 1,02, and altitude of 2200 m above sea level diversity ferns include in the low category with value 0,93. Ferns in the TNGGP have potensial for the surroundings communities  Kebun Raya Cibodas. Key words : Ferns, diversity, Gede Pangrango Mountain.

Abstract

Waste treatment technology is not less important for the business of Slaughterhouse (RPH). Various businesses and technologies have been done to handle this waste problem, especially for the rumen waste in RPH. One of them is utilizing the waste as an organic fertilizer. Bovine rumen bacteria are bacteria that originate from the contents of bovine rumen, with simple and inexpensive development techniques. This bacterium helps farmers in improving and developing an insightful agriculture on the preservation of soil fertility and natural resources. The study aims to identify bacteria and find out the diversity, properties, and characteristics of bacteria from the liquid organic content of rumen cows. Methods undertaken by observing colony morphology, colony selection and purification, Gram staining, spores staining, and biochemical testing. Of the four isolates identified there are two bacterial genus, three isolates RS1a, RS2a, RS2b including the genus Bacillus sp. aerobic and an isolates of RS1b including the genus Lactobacillus sp. the facultative of anaerobic. The four isolates of bacteria are able to grow optimum at pH 6.5 and the temperature of 370C is homofermentative.

Abstract

The study was conducted at two locations, namely the headwaters and mid stream part Ciliwung. A teach location made six transects with 45m length of each transect. Each transect made 5 sample plots measuring 1x1m with the distance between sample plots is 10m.  Then be identified, then calculated FR, KR, INP and Diversity Index Type. Based on the research results, There are 23 species of plants preventing erosion which is included in the 14 family. Ciliwung headwaters part  there are 19 species of plants preventing erosion of the 12 family, with a percentage of 57,5% and the highest Importance Value Index was Panicum maximum of 41.83%. Ciliwung midstream part there are 15 species of plants preventing erosion of the 9 tribes, with a percentage  45,4%  and  the highest Importance Value Index was  Pennisetum purpureum of 44.16%. Plant species diversity index prevention of erosion in watersheds (DAS) Ciliwung low with values ranging between 0,90-0,95. Key words: erosion control plants, watershed (DAS), Ciliwung

Abstract

Proses pemilihan feature dari citra RGB (Red-Green-Blue) dilakukan untuk memprediksi buah belimbing yang dicirikan dengan kandungan TPT (Total Padat Terlarut). Dari feature terpilih, dilakukan transformasi komponen utama satu dimensi (1D-PCA) dan dua dimensi (2D-PCA)  untuk mereduksi dimensi citra dengan proses pengenalan tingkat kemanisan yang dikelompokkan menjadi tiga, yaitu manis, sedang, dan asam. Dari 300 citra buah belimbing diperoleh hasil bahwa secara akurasi, teknik 1D-PCA maupun 2D-PCA memberikan  hasil  yang relatif  sama.  Namun  dari  segi kecepatan, 2DPCA jauh lebih cepat dibanding  1D-PCA, khususnya  pada  bagian  pembentukan  sumbu. Model hubungan  tingkat kemanisan sebagai fungsi dari  nilai RGB memberikan tingkat determinasi terbesarnya 69.9%. Percobaan  menunjukkan  bahwa 1D-PCA maupun 2DPCA mampu  menerangkan  sekitar  95% model hubungan tersebut yang dikembangkan pada ruang asal. Teknik PCA digabungkan dengan teknik klasifikasi KNN untuk pengenalan mampu mengenali buah kelompok manis dan asam dengan akurasi 100%. Sedangkan untuk kelompok sedang memiliki akurasi 83%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical properties of Kikim River water in Kikim Timur Subdistrict, Lahat Regency and find out the right way to solve water problems as an effort to treat water from physical parameters that exceed the quality standards according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2018 concerning requirements for drinking water quality. The parameters tested in this study included temperature, total suspended solid (TSS) and degree of acidity (pH). Sampling was carried out at three points, namely Point 01 in Gunung Kembang Village or Kikim Hulu River, Point 02 in Bungamas Village or Kikim Tengah River, and Point 03 in Lubuk Tampang Village or Kikim Hilir River. The results of the test analysis of the Kikim Timur River water samples carried out at the Environmental Service Unit of the Environmental Service Laboratory (DLH) of Lahat Regency at points 01, 02 and 03 indicate that the parameters tested, namely temperature, (TSS) and pH values still meet the standards according to Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2018.

Abstract

Mixture-mixture design with a split plot was proposed for simultaneously two mixture systems. The complete model was formed by multiplying cubic models for  two systems. The design was applied to the simultaneous optimizations of both mobile phase chromatographic mixtures and extraction mixture for the Phyllanthus niruri L. In this experiment used split plot approach. Saturated model coefficients were hypothesized with confident interval 99%. Reduction model consisted of real coefficients in complete coefficient models. Estimation method of reduction model coefficients consisted of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and Generalized Least Square (GLS). Models were formed to count sum peaks chromatographic at 225, 254, and 260 nm. RMSEP values in OLS method at wavelength 225, 254, and 260 nm were produced 4.122, 3.049, and 2.56, otherwise RMSEP values in GLS method were 3.99, 2.79, and 3.18. There are component indicators in wavelength greater and more complex. Key words : Mixture-mixture design, OLS, GLS, split plot
