Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the wage system, cost efficiency, and work motivation on employee productivity at PT Glory Industrial Semarang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees, with validity and reliability tests carried out to ensure data quality. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the wage system, cost efficiency, and work motivation each had a significant positive effect on employee productivity. Simultaneously, the three variables explained 94% of the variation in work productivity, with the wage system making the largest contribution. This shows that fair and proportional wages to the workload not only increase employee satisfaction and loyalty but also motivate them to work more optimally. Cost efficiency allows companies to provide incentives and facilities that support improved performance, while work motivation, both intrinsic, such as responsibility and desire to achieve, and extrinsic, such as awards and recognition, also strengthens employee commitment to company targets. This study has several limitations, including the fact that it was only conducted in one company, so the results cannot be generalized to other industries. In addition, this study used a cross-sectional approach, so it cannot capture long-term changes in the relationship of variables. Therefore, further research is recommended to expand the scope of the sample, consider additional variables such as organizational culture and leadership, and use a longitudinal approach to understand the dynamics of employee productivity changes over time.

The strategy to improve business performance focuses on improving product quality, design innovation, and responsive service to customer needs. High customer satisfaction has a direct impact on loyalty and increased revenue, which supports long-term business sustainability. As a recommendation, business owners are advised to optimize their capital structure by reducing dependence on short-term loans, expanding their supplier network to reduce production costs, and improving customer service through a more flexible and interactive ordering system. With this strategy, business competitiveness can be strengthened in the competitive sewing service industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of funding sources in supporting the sustainability of angkringan MSME businesses in Bawen, Semarang Regency. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, this study focuses on the access to funding received by angkringan MSMEs as well as the challenges and impacts on business development. The subjects of the study consisted of four Angkringan MSME owners who actively received funding and one representative from a financial institution providing micro-business credit. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis related to funding policies. The results of the study indicate that funding, especially from Micro Business Credit (KUM), plays a significant role in increasing business capacity, product quality, and infrastructure development. As many as 80% of respondents reported an increase in turnover and competitiveness after receiving funding. However, there are still obstacles in the complex application procedures and limited loan flexibility. Therefore, closer collaboration is needed between financial institutions and business actors to create a more accessible and sustainable funding scheme.

Abstract

Counterfeit goods refer to products that are illegally produced or distributed in violation of intellectual property rights (IPR), such as trademarks, designs, or patents. The trade-in counterfeit goods accounts for up to 10% of global trade and has impacts on global and local economies, including corporate losses, tax cuts, and barriers to innovation. This study uses neorealism theory to analyze the trade in counterfeit goods in Southeast Asia. The focus is on how countries prioritize domestic economic interests amidst pressures from the international system. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores the political, economic, and socio-cultural factors that support the trade in counterfeit goods, including the role of e-commerce and strategic relations with China. E-commerce accelerates the distribution of illegal goods, while China plays a major role as a producer. The results show that weak regional coordination, imbalances in state capabilities, and the ASEAN principle of non-intervention hinder the enforcement of IPR. To balance economic growth and IPR protection, innovative strategies are needed, such as strengthening national policies, cooperation between countries, and the use of technology in monitoring the trade in counterfeit goods.

Abstract

This article analyzes the influence of work motivation and discipline on employee productivity at PT. Sumber Bintang Rejeki. The problem is focused on how these two independent variables simultaneously or partially affect the level of employee productivity. To approach this problem, theoretical references regarding work motivation and work discipline are used. Data were collected through a survey using a questionnaire given to 100 respondents, then analyzed quantitatively using the multiple linear regression method using SPSS software. This study concludes that work motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a significant influence on employee productivity, with a contribution of 55.6% (R Square = 0.556). Partially, work discipline has a more dominant influence with a ? coefficient of 0.375 compared to work motivation with a ? coefficient of 0.096. The dominance of work discipline in increasing productivity can be associated with the role of compliance with rules, punctuality, and consistency in completing tasks that are more directly related to achieving work targets compared to motivational factors that are more subjective and vary between individuals. The implications of these findings indicate that companies need to strengthen the culture of work discipline through stricter supervision, the implementation of a clear reward and punishment system, and leadership training for managers to ensure consistency of work standards. In addition, improving work motivation programs is also needed through the provision of incentives, career development, and the creation of a more supportive work environment. With these steps, it is hoped that employee productivity can increase sustainably. The limitations of this study include the scope, which is only limited to one company, so the results cannot necessarily be generalized to other industries. In addition, other variables that can also affect productivity, such as work environment and leadership style, are not included in this research model. Therefore, further research is recommended to consider additional variables and expand the scope of the industry so that the results obtained are more comprehensive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of credit provision and consumer behavior on increasing the income of cooperative members. The urgency of this study lies in the importance of optimizing the use of cooperative credit in improving the welfare of its members, especially amidst economic challenges that require wiser financial management. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 124 cooperative members selected using a purposive sampling technique. Respondents were asked to provide information related to their credit receipts and consumption habits. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression to measure the effect of the two independent variables on the dependent variable, namely the increase in income of cooperative members. The results of the study indicate that credit provision has a significant effect on increasing income, with each one-unit increase in the credit provision variable contributing to an increase in income of 0.511. In contrast, consumer behavior does not have a significant effect on increasing income, indicating that the use of credit for consumption does not have a major impact on the economic welfare of cooperative members. The implications of this study emphasize that cooperatives need to focus more on providing credit for productive purposes, such as business investment and economic development of members. In addition, cooperatives are advised to provide more intensive financial education to their members so that they can manage credit more wisely and maximize its benefits in increasing income.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial technology, and financial inclusion on the performance of savings and loan cooperatives in Ungaran District. This study involved 100 respondents consisting of cooperative managers and members, with data collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively using multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial literacy has a significant positive effect on cooperative performance (? = 0.198, p < 0.01), indicating that an increased understanding of financial management and financial products effectively supports better financial decision-making. Financial technology also showed a very significant positive impact (? = 0.586, p < 0.001), indicating that the adoption of digital solutions and fintech innovations drastically improves operational efficiency and service quality. In contrast, the effect of financial inclusion was not significant (? = -0.191, p > 0.05), allegedly caused by obstacles in optimizing service utilization, low levels of member understanding, and regulatory and infrastructure barriers that still need to be improved. These findings imply that increasing literacy and technology adoption are key to improving cooperative performance, while financial inclusion strategies need to be further evaluated. The practical implications of this study encourage cooperatives to conduct regular training, integrate fintech solutions, and develop more holistic inclusion strategies to support competitiveness and sustainability in the digital era.
