Abstract

This article aims to discuss employee performance issues within the South Malinau District Office. The problem is focusing on the achievement of employee performance according to indicators of individual ability, motivation, support received, the existence of the work they do and their relationship with the organization, and the factors that influence it. Research approach using Organizational performance theory references from Robbins and Judge and Kadarisman. The data were collected through observation and interviews and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that the performance of employees at the Malinau Selatan Sub-district Office shows low performance based on employee performance indicators and influence by factors both from internal and external employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population is 115 and the sample is 115 employees with total sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant influence between organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior seen from the value of t count t table that is equal to 5.587 with t table of 1.981 and significance 0.000 0.025. Furthermore, there is a significant effect between job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior seen from the value of t count > t table that is 3.379 with t table 1.981 and significance 0.001 < 0.025. Lastly, simultaneously there is a significant influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior seen from the value of the determinant coefficient (R²) = 0.947 with p = 0.000 < 0.050 with the contribution of organizational culture and job satisfaction to organizational citizenship behavior of 94.7%. These results are reinforced by the results of the F test where the calculated F value > F Table is equal to 1001,869 with an F table of 3,077 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.050

Abstract

Research on Rinding Gumbeng art in Duren Hamlet, Beji aims to explore how the existence of Rinding Gumbeng Art in the current Globalization Era. The method used is qualitative research. Qualitative data obtained through field observations with purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 10 prospective participants. Qualitative data were analyzed using Spradley's domain model, which gives a general and comprehensive picture of the research object. The data obtained through surveys and interviews were then converted into a script in order to obtain an overview of the object under study. The research concludes that the existence of Rinding Gumbeng art in Dusun Duren is still growing and surviving well by undergoing changes to follow the conditions in the current era of globalization. Rinding Gumbeng art is still being preserved to this day and has even begun to be known outside the region.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain, examine, and evaluate boundary delimitation of Pasuran City district house representative by the Pasuruan City General Election Commission (KPU) in the 2019 General Election according to Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections as an effort to ensure the implementation of the formation of electoral districts in democracy principle. This study uses a descriptive approach to produce data in the form of words and numbers in a detailed and accurate explanation of the causes of something happening. The object of this research is the General Election Commission (KPU) of Pasuruan City as an election management agency that determines election policy at the Pasuruan City level. The results of the study found that even though there was a gap in seat allocation, the arrangement of the Pasuruan City electoral district house representative in the 2019 Election was in accordance with the principles of electoral district arrangement as stated in the General Election Law and Electoral Comission Republic Indonesia technical guidelines.

Abstract

The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were several works by class VIII students of Bunga Mawar Gunungsitoli Private Junior High School with a total of five works and the research sample was several works by class VIII students, totaling five works using the Total Sampling technique. The results showed that the application of the scribble technique for drawing fruit shapes, grade VIII SMP Swasta Bunga Mawar Gunungsitoli on average got a very good category with a total of two works, got a good category a total of two works, while getting a poor category a total of one work. In the results of the recapitulation of the value of the fruit shape drawing with the scribble technique, the proportion indicator gets a good category with an average value of 77.3 and the dark and light indicator gets a good category with an average score of 78.98. Furthermore, the highest score on student work by getting an average score of 90 on work number two and the lowest score on student work with an average score of 58.3 on work number four. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the results of the drawing of the shape of the fruit with the scribble technique of the Bunga Mawar Gunungsitoli Private Junior High School could be said to be good.

Abstract

 The rise of Illegal Sand Mining is due to the lack of firm action from Law Enforcers and the application of low penalties. This study aims to examine and analyze legal arrangements, criminal liability and the basis for judges' considerations in making decisions against illegal sand mining actors in Decision number 424/Pid.B/LH/2020/PN Kis. This research uses a normative juridical research method which is descriptive analytical. Data collection techniques were carried out based on library research and field research which were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that sand mining in Indonesia is regulated in several laws and regulations, among others, the Law on Environmental Protection and Management, the Law on Mineral and Coal Mining, Government Regulation on Mining Areas and Government Regulation on the Implementation of Mineral Mining Business Activities. and Coal. Criminal liability against perpetrators of illegal sand mining is regulated in Article 158 of Law no. 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining with a maximum penalty of 10 (ten) years and a maximum fine of 10,000,000,000.00 (Ten Billion Rupiah). The basis for the judge's consideration in imposing the decision Number 424/Pid.B/LH/2020/PN Kis against the Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for 10 (ten) months and a fine of Rp. 500,000,000.00 (Five hundred million Rupiah) in which the Judge's Decision was deemed too mild does not realize the purpose of punishment itself to provide a deterrent effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between emotional intelligence and parenting democratic with academic procrastination of College Students Faculty Of Psychology batch 2015 and 206, Medan Area University. The approach used in this study was a quantitative approach. The samples technique in this study was an accidental sampling. In this study, the researcher used three scale measuring as the instrument type. The scale used to measure the academic procrastination, emotional intelligence and parenting democratic scale. The data analysis techniques used in this study was a multiple regression analysis. Based on the analysis of data the results show that: (1). There was a negative significant relationship between parenting democratic with academic procrastination which was seen from R= -0,863 and R2=0,745 where p < 0.05. (2). There was a negative significant relationship between parenting democratic with academic procrastination which was seen from R= -0,461 and R2=0,213 where p < 0.05. (3). There was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and parenting democratic with academic procrastination which was seen from coefficient value of R2=0,759. It means that there was a significant correlation emotional intelligence and social support with academic procrastination college students Faculty of Psychology batch 2015 and 2016, Medan Area University.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and work motivation on employee performance at the secretariat of the medan city DPRD, the research desaign was a quantitative approach with a descriptive verification method, the sample used in this studywere are civil servants in the secretariat office of the medan city DPRD, namely 50 employees, except for civil servant appraisers, the sampling technique is probability sampling with purposive sampling technique, data analysis is carried out with multiple linear regression, the most dominan variable effecting employee performance is work motivation variable while self-efficacy variable does not significantly affect employee performance at the secretariatt of the city DPRD medan, besides that, self-efficacy and work motivation simultaneosly affect the performance of employees at the secretariat of the medan city DPRD.

Abstract

Billboards are communication media resulting from graphic design with the aim of conveying information. This study aims to determine the type of typography, color character and message function on COVID-19 billboards in Padangsidimpuan City. This research was conducted from March to May 2021. This study used qualitative methods with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The total population is 5 billboards. The sampling technique used was total sampling, that is, the entire population was sampled. The findings in this study indicate that overall the COVID-19 billboards in Padangsidimpuan City are good in terms of typography, color and message function. The type of font used relates to the level of ease of reading, the size of the letters used relates to readability. The typography and colors used are tailored to the theme. The colors used give emphasis to billboards so that they create contrast. The message functions contained in the billboards are a warning function, a persuasive function, and an educational function.
