Abstract

This article or writing aims to find out the development of strategies carried out at the BKPSDM office in Nagan Raya Regency because of obstacles to the enforcement of quality apparatus according to performance achievements. Problems in the development strategy in the form of education and training (training) as well as study permits and learning assignments, where in its implementation there are still obstacles that cause the development strategy has not been implemented optimally. To approach this problem, the theory from Sondang P. Siagian is used which argues that there are several steps that must be achieved in implementing the development strategy. The data was collected through interviews with the secretaries, heads and sub-bids as well as several apparatuses in the BKPSDM office in Nagan Raya Regency and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that in implementing the development strategy at the BKPSDM office of Nagan Raya Regency in the form of education and training (education and training) and the provision of learning and learning assignments, several obstacles and shortcomings were found which caused why the apparatus in accordance with performance could not be achieved optimally.

Abstract

This article discusses the analysis of the leadership role of the principal of the 14 Rantau Utara State Elementary School, Rantau Utara District, Labuhan Batu Regency. This type of research is a type of field research (field research) with a qualitative approach. The sources of data for this research are the principal, school teachers in their respective fields, school operators, representatives of several parents. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Then the presentation of the data goes through four stages, namely: data reduction, analyzing data, compiling data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that, the principal's leadership on school management in terms of the principal's leadership has been fairly effective, in addition to placing himself as a headmaster leader as well as a role model who always provides motivation, direction and advice to students. subordinates both to teachers and staff as well as to their students. Principals in elementary schools maintain order and school discipline, and strive for the progress of the school. In the management of facilities and infrastructure, it is still considered inadequate or not enough because the principal is constrained by funds so that he has not been able to cover the shortcomings in the school, but the principal is still trying to cooperate with the government in the progress and development of the school and can meet the needs of the school. especially in learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the influence of supervisor's academic supervision, principal's leadership and work discipline on teacher performance at the Bulu District Elementary School. This study uses quantitative research methods. The population of this study were 293 teachers from 25 schools. The number of samples taken in the study were 158 teachers. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is single regression and multiple regression. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that (1) academic supervision of supervisors has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Bulu District Elementary School teachers (2) Principal leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Bulu Subdistrict Elementary School teachers (3) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on performance of district elementary school teachers (4) Academic supervision of supervisors, Principal leadership and work discipline have a simultaneous  effect on the performance of teachers in Bulu District Elementary School.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out how to stimulate children's creativity through language. Creativity is the ability to create or inventiveness in the form of an instinct that has been possessed by humans since birth. Fostering children's creativity through language can be done by giving ideas, gifts, introducing innovative people, bringing adventure, developing fantasy, practicing positive traits, storytelling, questioning the situation and condition of the house, playing games with children and the child participates. play a role in it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:(1) mengetahui karakteristik masyarakat bantaran sungai Percut, (2)mengetahui sikap dan tindakan masyarakat bantaran sungai Percut terhadap aktivitas membuang sampah rumah tangga ke sungai, dan(3) pengaruh karakteristik masyarakat terhadap perilaku masyarakat membuang sampah rumah tangga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Percut  Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang tahun 2020. Populasi penelitian ini  adalah seluruh masyarakat yang tinggal dibantaran sungai Percut berjarak 100meter dari sungai yaitu 120 KK.yang sekaligus dijadikan sebagai sampel. Tehnik pengambil data dilakukan dengan komunikasi langsung (wawancara).dan data dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitan menunjukan bahwa: 1)Karakteristik responden menurut umur mayoritas responden adalah usia produktip dan pendidikan responden umumnya adalah pendidikan rendah (SMP) yakitu 35%. Responden pada umumnya berpendapatan < Rp 2.499.423 berjumlah 97 responden. 2)  Sikap membuang sampah rumah tangga masyarakat bantaran Sungai Percut secara umum adalah kategori sikap kurang yaitu 50,8 %. Sedangkan tindakan masyarakat pada umumnya masuk dalam kategori tindakan kurang dalam membuang sampah rumah tangga adalah 41,6 %. 3) hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung> ttabel (2,483 > 1,980) serta nilai sig < 0,05 = 0,004 < 0,05. Bahwa hal ini hubungan antara karakteristik masyarakat bantaran sungai Percut dengan perilaku masyarakat dalam aktivitas pembuangan sampah rumah tangga.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational citizenship behavior, social intelligence on employee performance. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population is 115 and the sample is 115 employees with total sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant effect between organizational citizenship behavior on performance seen from t count > t table with p = 0.000 < 0.025, which was 15.217 > 1.981 with sig 0.000 < 0.025, then there was significant effect of social intelligence on performance seen from the value (t count) of 4.288, with a t table of 1.981. So it can be said that the value of t arithmetic t table and significance 0.000 < 0.025. Then, simultaneously there is a significant effect between organizational citizenship behavior and social intelligence on performance seen from the coefficient value (R²) = 0.947 with p = 0.000 < 0.050, the contribution of organizational citizenship behavior and social intelligence to performance is 94.7%. These results are reinforced by the results of the F test where the calculated F value > F table is 998,377 > 3,077 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.050

Abstract

This article aims to determine the socio-cultural perspective of the Galela Tribe towards women's education in border areas. The problem is focused on equal distribution of education for women in Morotai Island Regency as the border area of Indonesia and the Philippines. This study used a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interview and observation techniques. Sources of data in this study were women from the Galela Tribe residing in the village of Sakita, North Morotai District, Mira Village, East District, and Momojiu Village, South Morotai District, selected by purposive sampling. The three villages are the oldest traditional villages in Kab. Morotai Island, which used to be the villages of the Moro Kingdom, until now these villages are traditional villages. The results of the study conclude that it is true that there is a view that women are not important to get education for their lives, but along with the times, women from the Galela tribe have begun to gain access to education even to college.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine and analyze the rule of law, the role of the police in law enforcement and the obstacles faced by the police in law enforcement of the criminal act of smuggling used clothing imports in the North Sumatra Region. The research method used is the normative juridical method and the nature of the descriptive analysis of the analyst. The results of the study indicate that the legal rules regarding the criminal act of importing used clothing are regulated in Law no. 7 of 2014 concerning Trade, Law no. 17 of 2006 concerning amendments to the Customs Law, and Regulation of the Minister of Trade No.51/M-DAG/PER/7/2015 concerning the Prohibition of the Import of Used Clothing. The role of the Police is that the North Sumatran Police cooperate with customs officials and examine documents or completeness of permits for the movement of goods, in this case used clothes from abroad, which will be delivered to the city of Padang via Tanjung Balai waters. The obstacle faced in law enforcement is where the North Sumatra Police personnel are negligent in carrying out their duties. The North Sumatra Police's facilities and infrastructure have no obstacles, because the facilities and infrastructure are complete, the community factor where many people still don't report to law enforcement officials regarding the entry of used clothes into Indonesia, especially North Sumatra and cultural factors where people feel comfortable selling used clothes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship of Self-Concept and Interpersonal Communication with Learning Motivation in State Junior High School Students 2 Tanjung Tiram Bara Regency, with a population of 167 students. The research sample numbered 33 students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with sampling techniques using the Stratified Random Sampling Proportional Technique. Abstract is written briefly and factually, covering research objectives, research methods, results and conclusions. Abstracts are written in one paragraph; written in two languages (Indonesian and English); abstract lengths ranging from 150 - 200 words. Avoid referrals and unusual abbreviations. Cambria 10, with one line spacing (1) spacing. In Indonesian. The instrument used is the Likert Scale model. Data collection techniques use three scales consisting of the Self-Concept Scale, Interpersonal Communication and Learning Motivation. The analysis technique used is multiple regression. Based on the results of the study concluded that: 1) Self-concept is positively related to student learning motivation indicated by a correlation coefficient of R = 0.768. Where the contribution of variable X1 to variable Y amounted to R2 = 58.9%. 2) Interpersonal communication is positively related to student learning motivation indicated by a correlation coefficient of R = 0.584. Where the contribution of variable X2 to Y amounted to R2 = 34.1%. 3) Self-Concept and Interpersonal Communication together have a relationship to learning motivation of R = 0.783. Where the variable contribution of X1 and X2 to Y amounted to R2 = 61.3%. From these results it can be said that the higher the Self-Concept and Interpersonal Communication, the higher the motivation to learn, and vice versa the lower the Self-Concept and Interpersonal Communication, the lower the student's Learning Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and knowledge with student anxiety in nursing clinical practice. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a correlational approach, the data was collected using a questionnaire method. The research sample was taken with a total sampling of 67 students who carried out nursing clinical practice. The results of data analysis showed that there was a very significant negative relationship on self-efficacy with anxiety, which was indicated by the correlation coefficient rX1Y = - 0.655 with p < 0.01. This means that the better the self-efficacy, the lower the anxiety experienced. Furthermore, there is a very significant negative relationship between knowledge and anxiety, which is indicated by the correlation coefficient rX2Y = - 0.674 with p < 0.01. This means that the more knowledge students have, the less anxiety they experience. There is a relationship between self-efficacy and knowledge with anxiety, which is indicated by the coefficient F = 32.646 with p < 0.01. The magnitude of the correlation is r = 0.711 with R2 = 0.505, this means that together self-efficacy and knowledge contribute to the emergence of anxiety by 50.5% and there is 49.5% anxiety experienced by nursing students is influenced by other factors. By assuming knowledge is in a constant condition, every increase of 1 unit of self-efficacy variable will reduce the level of anxiety experienced by students by 0.375, and vice versa by assuming self-efficacy in constant conditions, every increase of 1 unit of knowledge variable will reduce student anxiety level by 1,996.
