Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine and analyze the legal arrangements, roles, and barriers of the labor inspectorate of North Sumatra Province in dealing with labor issues and legal protection for the social security benefits of employment at PT. Superior Tips. This type of research is normative juridical research which refers to the legal norms contained in the legislation. The approach method in this research is used to analyze the research objectives. 3 of 1951 concerning the Statement of Enforcement of the Labor Inspection Law, Regulation of the Labor Inspector in the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus No. 30 of 2020 concerning the Functional Position of the Labor Inspector, and the Regulation of the Labor Inspector in the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower Number 33 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Labor Inspection. The role of the Labor Inspector of North Sumatra Province in providing legal protection for the social security benefits for employees at PT. Superior Tips. Barriers faced by the Labor Inspector of North Sumatra Province in providing legal protection for social security benefits at PT. Superior tips can be reviewed from several aspects, namely: Barriers from aspects of legal substance; Barriers from the institutional aspect; Barriers from the aspect of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the quality of E-KTP public services at the Southeast Aceh Regency Population and Civil Registration Service, and the two factors that hinder the E-KTP service at the Southeast Aceh Regency Population and Civil Registration Service. The method used in this study is descriptive with qualitative research instruments with observations, documentation studies and interviews. While the data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the quality of E-KTP public services which refers to Zeithaml's theory from the tangible dimension (physical evidence/infrastructure), realibility (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (guarantee), empathy (empathy) shows, the quality of public services E-KTP at the population and civil registration office of Southeast Aceh Regency has been running but is still not good or still not optimal. The inhibiting factors for E-KTP public services at Disdukcapil include inadequate human resources, limited financial resources, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and lack of employee commitment. To improve the quality of public services, the E-KTP Disdukcapil must improve infrastructure, place employees in accordance with competence, increase employee discipline, and in service there should be no discrimination and prioritize service users/community.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the development of sustainable transportation in the city of Surabaya which has the potential to realise the concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) as a solution to urban problems in the city of Surabaya.  The problem is focused on the analysis of Sustainable Transportation and the concept of TOD in the city of Surabaya.  To approach this problem, theoretical references from the Organization Of Economic Transportation (1996) and National Round Table On The Environment And The Economy (1996) are used to describe the related sustainable transportation and the theory of Peter Calthrope (1993) which describes the concept of TOD.  Primary data was obtained from observation and secondary surveys, while secondary data was obtained through literature analysis.  The data analysis approach was carried out using qualitative methods with a level of focus on deepening descriptive analysis.  The results of the study state that the Surabaya City Government needs to develop the availability of sustainable transportation that is already available and careful development planning in transit areas that already have the potential to realise the application of the TOD concept.  This study concludes that the development of sustainable transportation in the city of Surabaya has the potential to realise the concept of TOD as a medium for solving the problem of population density and congestion in the city of Surabaya

Abstract

This study aims to explain how to implement Government Regulation Policy Number 17, 2020 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 11, 2017 concerning Management of Civil Servants in Career Development at the Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency of Padangsidimpuan. This research is designed as a qualitativeresearch with a phenomenological approach that requires researchers to examine a number of subjects by being directly involved and in a relatively long time in order to develop patterns and relationships of meaning. The results of this study looking for four dimensions: first, from the communication dimension that explains the education and training that personality improvement and the inculcation of the spirit of devotion in accordance with the results of the study. Second, from the dimension of resource availability, it is also important in order to carry out Career Development well. Third, for the Disposition dimension regarding the availability of implementers to carry out these public policies, skills alone are not sufficient, without the availability and commitment to implement policies. Fourth, for the dimensions of the Bureaucratic Structure explained that the mutations of BKPSDM employees who experienced it partially felt that they were in accordance with their competencies.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-esteem and intellectual intelligence on student learning resilience. The population is 120 students and a sample of 60 is taken using a random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of self-esteem on student learning resilience, where the coefficient rx1y = 0.539 with p = 0.000, which means the better self-esteem, the better learning resilience. The coefficient of r squared self-esteem with the dependent variable learning resilience is r2 = 0.439. This shows that learning resilience is formed by self-esteem with a contribution of 32.30%. The intellectual intelligence variable has a significant positive effect on learning resilience where the coefficient rx2y = 0.290 with p = 0.000, this means that the better intellectual intelligence, the better learning resilience. The r-squared coefficient of intellectual intelligence on the dependent variable of learning resilience is r2 = 0.401. This shows that learning resilience is formed by intellectual intelligence of 11.60%. The variables of self-esteem and intellectual intelligence have a significant positive effect in simulation on learning resilience where the coefficient r = 0.439; with p = 0.000 means p < 0.010. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the influence of self-esteem and intellectual intelligence on learning resilience is r2 = 0.439. This shows that resilience is formed by self esteem and intellectual intelligence together with a contribution of 43.90%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze: Implementation of an integrated reporting system software application in the field of apparatus resources in the civil service police unit of North Sumatra Province and what factors are the obstacles in implementing an integrated reporting system software application in the field of apparatus resources in the police unit. civil service of North Sumatra Province. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach to Employee Performance Improvement at the Regional Personnel Board of North Sumatra Province. Thus the researcher becomes the interpreter of the interview findings, documentation and also observations during the process. The results of the study stated that Communication in the Civil Service Police Unit of North Sumatra Province needs to be intensively improved so that the Integrated Reporting System Application Software can provide optimal results by monitoring activities in the Regency / City on a regular basis in order to understand and know the existing programs. in the Civil Service Police Unit located in the Regency / City. The disposition or attitude of policy implementers should know what to do and be able to implement it so that in practice there is no bias or ambiguity. Resources are one of the supporting factors in policy implementation, therefore in order to achieve policy implementation it is necessary to provide adequate resources in order to support the policy implementation process.

Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate the performance of social studies teachers at SMP certified educators in Way Kanan Regency, Lampung. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the research were 48 certified junior high school social studies teachers and 5 principals as respondents. Data collection tools used are questionnaire techniques, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage. The results of the study show that the overall performance of socially-certified teachers is considered good when viewed from the indicators of the teacher's ability to implement and evaluate learning. However, the ability of teachers to plan lessons still needs to be improved. Recommendations given to teachers in preparing the Lesson Plan (RPP) should cover aspects of communication and information technology and be followed by the development of activities. As well as actively implementing the MGMP (Subject Teacher Consultation) program. Through this MGWP, it is hoped that teachers can improve learning methods, educational techniques on science and technology that can be used in classroom learning, share information, and improve teacher professionalism. Recommendations for local governments are to create self-development programs for teachers in order to develop and improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Modernization is not only in the field of electronics, but also in the field of transportation. As a result of this modernization, many young people, especially children, are affected. The role of parents to monitor the growth and development of a child is very much expected in living life in the era of modernization. In the case file Number: BP/01/I/2017/Traffic. Police Report Number: LP/0204/244/XII/2016/LL contains a case of a traffic accident crime committed by a minor that caused the death of a pedestrian. Based on research and file analysis, the diversion step is a step taken by the Belawan Harbor Police Traffic Unit in resolving the traffic accident case committed by minors and is guided by Law No. 11 of 2012 and Supreme Court Regulation No. 4 of 2014 about diversion and procedures for its implementation. Factors that cause traffic accidents committed by minors in the jurisdiction of the Belawan Harbor Police Traffic Unit, namely; parental permission, a child's habits, long distance travelled, the child's living environment and the child's social environment. The prevention efforts of the Belawan Harbor Police Traffic Unit in preventing accidents carried out by minors were hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the efforts of the Belawan Harbor Police Satlantas in handling the case file Number: BP/01/I/2017/Traffic. Police Report Number: LP/0204/244/XII/2016/LL should be appreciated and imitated by other police, because it prioritizes preventive action by taking a policy of diversion.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of technology and followed by the development of new media, it has its own influence on the creation of various sites interacting through the virtual world. Until then, a new communication medium was created, one of which was Tiktok. The new media Tiktok is a social media platform that uses short videos of about 15 seconds - 3 minutes accompanied by music. The presence of Tiktok has another function, with Tiktok also being able to build personal branding from its owner. A content creator, named Vina A. Muliana, is quite familiar to the ears. The content published through Tiktok is packaged by Vina in a unique and fun way. This study aims to find out how the new media Tiktok as a personal branding tool for Vina A. Muliana. The problem is focused on the personal branding of Vina A. Muliana, in order to approach this problem, the theoretical reference of the eight main concepts of personal branding (the eight laws of personal branding) is used. The data is collected through videos or descriptions published on the Tiktok account @vmuliana using a qualitative approach. This study concludes that Vina Muliana's personal branding through her Tiktok account (@vmuliana) fulfills all eight main concepts for personal branding, namely specialization, leadership, personality, difference, appearance, unity, constancy, and good name

Abstract

This article to get an overview of the implementation of the policy on the handling of the Crime of Money Laundering, as an important enforcement policy for asset recovery, which is focused on the Deputi Penindakan  the KPK for the 2016-2019 period, in order to approach this problem, the Normalization Process Theory approach will be used (May & Finch, 2009). Through qualitative research methods, data is collected through interviews with relevant sources, both policy makers, KPK leaders and structural enforcement officers, as well as the main policy implementing officers, namely Investigators and Asset Tracking Officers as well as looking at secondary data such as the KPK Strategic Plan, Annual Report, Accountability Report, investigation warrant and other KPK internal documents. This study of policy implementation through the Normalization Process Theory Approach concludes that in the policy for handling money laundering offenses at the KPK for the 2016-2019 period, policy makers have understood the urgency of handling money laundering offenses (coherence), policy implementers are consciously involved in the policy (cognitive participation), and mutual trust in policy implementation (collective action) but with a note that there is no special forum for monitoring the policy (reflexive monitoring).
