This article aims to examine the effect of high dowry money in marriage against the postponement of marriage in Temerloh Village, Pahang State Malaysia in the perspective of maqashid shari'ah. This research is an empirical legal research, with a sociological approach to law. Data sources were obtained through interviews with a number of respondents and observations, which were then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that there are still many people in Temerloh Village who practice dowry money so high that it has an impact on delaying marriage in several families in the village. The high dowry money is based on education, occupation and social status of the woman to be married. In the perspective of maqashid shari'ah, the high practice of dowry money that causes delays in marriage for those who are less fortunate is not in accordance with the aspect of hifz al-din (maintaining religion), because Islamic sharia advocates simplicity and ease in matters of dowry and financing in a marriage. Moreover, the postponement of marriage caused by the high amount of marriage dowry money is feared to result in actions that are not in accordance with religious values.

This study aims to analyze aspects of arbitral awards in the Indonesian justice system from historical and theoretical perspectives. The Arbitration Law confirms that arbitral awards have the same legal force as court decisions. The method used in this research is normative legal method. This legal method focuses on the analysis of existing legal norms, including statutory regulations, court decisions, legal principles, and other legal documents in this context, namely, aspects of arbitral awards in the Indonesian justice system. The results of the study show that the implementation of the arbitral award by the parties must be seen as a consequence of choosing arbitration to resolve the dispute, it is the parties who choose their own judges, even for their choice of law, then the implementation of the arbitral award is consciously a necessity of the parties themselves. Arbitration awards can be annulled in the justice system in Indonesia as a form of protection for justice and legal order. Grounds for annulment of an arbitral award, as provided for in the Arbitration Act, may include a breach of procedure, the incompetence of the arbitrator, or an award that violates decency or public decency. Arbitration awards are an important tool in the dispute resolution system in Indonesia, especially in the business and investment sphere.

Ibing penca merupakan salah satu warisan budaya takbenda di Indonesia yang berkembang diberbagai memiliki struktur koreorafi yang lincah dan bersinergi serta ciri khas, dimana gerak tersebut merupakan hasil gabungan dari wilayah di Nusantara. Masing-masing daerah yang memiliki paguron pencak silat menunjukan ciri khas dan gaya yang berbeda. Ibing pencak silat baragbag tengah di paguron Sinar Pusaka Putra Garut mengembangkan ibingan (gaya gerak) yang mempunyai ciri khas dalam pola gerak dan rias busana yang menjadi pendukung dalam geraknya. Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ibing penca baragbag tengah di paguron sinar pusaka putra Garut dari unsur penyajian gerak (struktur koreografi dan fungsi ibing penca) serta rias busananya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ibing prnca baragbag tengah mencakup beberapa komponen yaitu, komponen koreografi yang terdiri dari gerak, dan fungsi. Ibing penca baragbag tengah beberapa jurus yang dimiliki sinar pusaka putra Garut. Semoga hasil kajian penelitian ini dapat memberikan motivasi untuk berinovasi, berkreasi, mempertahankan, memperkaya khasanah seni budaya

This article discusses the concept of collaborative governance in the implementation of Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation Number 08 of 2014 concerning Waste. The waste problem in Pekanbaru City is a public problem faced by local governments, especially Pekanbaru City. The research method used is literature study by reading and exploring various documentation that discusses the main issues and concepts in this study. The results of the study show that the Public Private Partnership (PPP) pattern is a form of collaborative governance in waste management through the implementation of Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation Number 08 of 2014 concerning Waste. In the provision of public services through the PPP pattern, there are four aspects to consider in the provision of public services, namely (a) the potential aspect of the implementation of the PPP, (b) the aspect of the potential obstacles to the PPP scheme, (c) the aspect of analyzing the benefits and costs of the PPP pattern, and the aspect of the private sector's interest in the provision public service.

Criminal policy represents the rational strategy of society in addressing criminal activities. Criminal law policy is a subfield of criminal law science that focuses on crime prevention. In Indonesia, the government has enacted Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law) to regulate the use of information technology and social media, aiming to maintain justice, public order, and legal certainty. Defamation refers to actions that harm an individual's reputation through spoken or written words. Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law regulates defamation. This research explores both penal and non-penal policies in addressing defamation crimes in cyberspace. A normative juridical method is employed to analyze legal solutions to this issue. Primary, secondary, and tertiary data are combined to investigate this matter. A population and sample approach is utilized to answer the research questions. This study analyzes the effectiveness of criminal and non-criminal policies in dealing with online defamation, providing crucial insights for future regulatory enhancements.

Customary law is something that is very inherent in Indonesian society, because it is still growing and being applied in the midst of society to this day. Among the many customs that exist in Indonesia, the Karo custom is one that is still very heavily applied. Adat Karo has provisions related to the customary culture of its indigenous people, both related to marriage, inheritance distribution, and other customary practices in accordance with the activities carried out. This research method is juridical and normative analysis, data sources are carried out in literature and in the field. Field research conducted interviews in Gongsol Village, Karo District. The purpose of this writing is to find out and analyze the rules for the application of Karo customary law regarding same-sex marriage. The results of this study are that the marriage rules in the Karo custom are in the form of an agreement between the two parties, namely the introduction of the parents of both parties, ngembah belo a sheet, ngantik manuk, ngalari customary debt (party), hitting after the Karo traditional party is finished. In traditional Karo marriages, it is not permissible to marry with the same clan, this has become customary law in Karo customs, and if this happens, they will be expelled from the local village/village.

English as a foreign language that is widely used in the world provides a challenge to every learner. Grammar rules in English are one of the challenges faced by learners, especially in Subject-verb Agreement rules. This article aims to analyze the types of common errors made by students and determine the types of common errors with the highest percentage of common errors found. With a qualitative and quantitative descriptive design, this study chose students in the English Education Study Program, FKIP UMSU as the research sample. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there were three types of common errors found in the use of subject-verb agreement rules in English by students at the English Education Study Program, errors between singular/plural subjects, errors in tense selection, and types of errors in the form 'to' form of verb/split of verb. Furthermore, it can be obtained that the highest percentage of errors obtained is in the type of 'to' form of verb/split of verb in question no. 20 where there were 82 students who answered incorrectly with a percentage of 66.12%.

This article aims to find out and analyze investigations into criminal acts of theft with violence that resulted in the death of people and to find out and analyze the obstacles encountered and the efforts made by investigators in carrying out investigations into criminal acts of theft with violence which Resulted in the death of people at LP/15/K/VII/2018 in the Legal Area of the Pariangan Police, Tanah Datar. The problem focused on how investigators tried to overcome the obstacles encountered during the investigation on LP/15/K/VII/2018 in the Pariangan Tanah Datar Police Legal Area. In this article, what is used as a legal research method is normative-empirical, namely legal research based on legal research that not only examines the normative system of laws and regulations but also observes the reactions and interactions that occur when the normative system works or is implemented in the society under study. This article is descriptive, in which this study aims to clarify and validate the case studied. The data were obtained through document studies and direct interviews with Investigator Ipda Lian Tanjung at the Pariangan Tanah Datar Police who handled the case and were analyzed qualitatively.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali, menggambarkan, dan menemukan Nilai Kebajikan Kewarganegaraan terkait partisipasi hak penyandang disabilitas dalam perumusan kebijakan di tingkat pemerintahan administratif desa di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif-empiris. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan studi kepustakaan mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Undang-Undang Disabilitas menjadi acuan dalam pengaturan keterlibatan difabel dalam akses hak penyandang disabilitas dalam pelayanan publik di Indonesia. Hasil mununjukan bahwa Nilai Kebajikan Kewarganegaraan dalam partisipasi hak penyandang disabilitas membentuk kohesi sosial yang memperkuat tanggung jawab individu, rasa kasih untuk yang lain, integritas, patriotisme, toleransi keragaman, dan konsistensi. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat urgensi keterlibatan disabilitas dalam perumusan kebijakan desa guna memahami, mengetahui, dan menganalisis kebutuhan maupun masalah yang dialami disabilitas itu sendiri di level desa. Selain itu, terdapat harapan pula akan adanya upaya untuk melindungi hak kaum disabilitas dan mengubah persektif masyarakat yang baik tentang disabilitas. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat pula merefleksikan urgensi keterlibatan disabilitas dalam perumusan kebijakan berskala nasional.
