Al-Azhar is one of the institution's pride the Islamic Ummah. History has recorded how the existence of Al-Azhar of the early Fatimid Dynasty to this day holds a great story very interesting. Not only that, Al-Azhar also contribute on the development of civilization and Islamic intellectuals. Many scientists the great scientists who were born from there. One thing that is not less important is that it turns out that the existing educational system in Al-Azhar turned out at the adoption by the institutions which exist in Western countries. Therefore, this paper will try to uncover the historical return of Al-Azhar during the Fatimid Dynasty, history of the establishment, and the factors that affect the educational system.

The pandemic has changed the work order and old patterns that have prevailed in the media. This paper highlights the changing work patterns and news media production in Surakarta City-Indonesia regarding the pandemic. The data were collected by interviews and observations of journalists assigned to cover the area of Surakarta and the newsroom. The results showed a change in the pattern of coverage, number, and broadcast pattern or news packaging model and changes in editorial policy. The orientation of the news is no longer merely to “worship” exclusivity. It requires high creativity so that it does not lose information. The pattern of coverage previously had to go by interviews and direct observations to become a mediated pattern. It became considered taboo for journalists in the era before the pandemic. Photos and videos no longer have to match the news narrative but can be used as substitute objects as long as they have relevance. The format of voice-over news has been changed a lot in the form of live broadcasts, and mini talk shows to fill the program's broadcast duration, which was affected by the decrease in the number of news reports reported by journalists during the pandemic.

The purpose of this study is to determine how effective online learning is when the zoom application is used as a communication medium, how the online learning communication media for STPK Matauli students during the covid-19 pandemic, and how the zoom application is used as a learning communication medium for STPK Matauli students during the covid-19 pandemic. The Matauli Pandan High School of Fisheries and Marine Affairs conducted this study using a qualitative descriptive method. This study included 27 informants, all of whom were students from the 2019-2021 class. Observation, interviews, and document methods were used to collect data. The findings revealed: a) the effectiveness of online learning through the use of the Zoom application as a communication medium for students Matauli Pandan High School of Fisheries and Marine Affairs had 8 students who stated Effective and 19 students who stated Ineffective out of a total of 27 informants from the 2019, 2020, and 2021 classes. b) online learning communication media for STPK Matauli students during the academic year of 2019 Whatsapp, Zoom, and Google Meet are the most popular. According to research conducted in the 2019-2021 class with a total of 27 informants, 13 students used Zoom, 9 students used Whatsapp, and 7 students used Google Meet. c) Students at Matauli Pandan Fisheries and Marine College use Zoom for discussions, presentations, and guidance. According to the findings of research conducted in the 2019-2021 class with a total of 27 informants, 15 students used the Zoom application for discussions, 10 students used it for presentations, and 6 students used it for guidance.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi interpersonal guru dalam memotivasi belajar santri pesantren modern darul arafah. Pada jurnal ini persoalan yang akan dikaji mencakup Rumusan masalah yaitu, bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal Guru Dalam Memotivasi Belajar santri pesantren Darul Arafah? Untuk mengungkapkan persoalan tersebut secara menyeluruh dan mendalam, Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis pada penelitian ini yakni dengan malakukan wawancara dan observasi kemudian verifikasi agar relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa bentuk pesan Guru yang disampaikan untuk memotivasi belajar santri yakni berupa komunikasi interpersonal yang bersifat persuasif dimana guru mengarahkan santri kepada minat belajar yang tinggi merupakan salah satu penerapan cara didik antara guru kepada santri. Pesan yang disampaikan bersifat persuasif dalam komunikasi interpersonalakan memudahkan interaksi terhadap komunikan dalam proses pemahaman, baik komunikasi secara langsung (tatap muka) ataupun tidak langsung (melalui media), komunikasi verbal dan non-verbal. Kontribusi penelitian berdasarkan Komunikasi yang dilakukan Guru bersifat konseling dan ramah guru mlakukan berbagai macam upaya dalam berkomunikasi, santri yang berasal dari berbagai daerah memiliki watak yang berbeda sehingga banyak dari mereka yang sulit untuk terbuka dan mengekspresikan diri atas apa yang telah dialaminya sewaktu belajar, Upaya pendekatan biasanya dilakukan dengan mengajak Santri bercerita. Jadi santri didekati kemudian diajak ngobrol mengenai hal-hal yang disukai oleh Santri. Hal ini dilakukan secara terus menerus sampai Santri merasa nyaman dengan gurunya mengulang kembali pesannya sehingga menyebabkan komunikasi berjalan dengan baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis framing tentang kecelakaan pesawat Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 dalam berita Kompas.com. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki sebagai konstruksi dan memproses berita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, jumlah berita pada Kompas.com periode 09 sampai 26 Janauari 2021 berjumlah 60. Hasil dari analisis framing yang dipastikan setelah kotak hitam (black box) berhasil diidentifikasi dan hancurnya pesawat karena membentur permukaan laut. Operasi pencarian pesawat Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 resmi dihentikan pada Kamis, 21 Januari 2021. Keputusan tersebut sudah melalui beberapa pertimbangan seperti pertimbangan teknis, hasil temuan korban, serta masukan-masukan dari unsur di lapangan. Meski demikian, tim SAR tetap akan melakukan pemantauan tindakan lanjutan apabila ada temuan, dan tetap melakukan proses identifikasi korban oleh tim DVI. Korban yang berhasil teridentifikasi adalah 53 jenazah dari 62 korban, diantaranya 35 jenazah penumpang dewasa, kru 6 jenazah (pramugara/i) dan 1 jenazah (co-pilot NAM), 4 jenazah anak-anak, 3 jenazah bayi, dan 4 jenazah umur tidak teridentifikasi. Tanggung jawab yang diberikan pihak Sriwijaya Air merupakan santunan senilai Rp 1.250.000.000 Miliar untuk setiap keluarga penumpang, pihak Jasa Raharja selaku pihak asuransi juga menyerahkan santunan sebesar Rp 50.000.000.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan website Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Asahan sebagai akses informasi publik serta mengetahui hambatan dalam pengelolaan website Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Asahan sebagai askses informasi publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori informasi organisasi dan new media. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria memiliki tugas yang berkaitan erat dengan pengelolaan website sebagai media kehumasan. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Kantor Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Asahan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa website asahankab.go.id dikelola dengan baik dalam menyebarluaskan informasi kepada publik terkait kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan. Diskominfo Asahan melakukan pengelolaan website dengan menyediakan tampilan yang sederhana atau userfriendly agar mudah diakses oleh publik. Penyajian konten berita, foto dan video sudah mengikuti standarisasi website pemerintahan serta sudah mengikuti Permenkominfo No. 28 Tahun 2006 dan UU No. 14 Tahun 2008 mengenai Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (KIP). Proses pengelolaan website meliputi pemeriksaaan atau penyaringan informasi, dengan melibatkan beberapa anggota organisasi.

Abstract: After the declaration as a 2024 presidential candidate by one of the parties, Anies Baswedan's name became inseparable from the media spotlight and even became a public discussion. Anies' presence which is in the spotlight from various media can shape Anies' political image which cannot be separated from the role of the media in constructing news discourse. Image is the impression that someone has of something, in this case a political figure. The purpose of this research is to find out how CNNIndonesia.com's framing affects Anies Baswedan's political image after his declaration as a presidential candidate for 2024. The analytical method used is a qualitative approach using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis technique with the object of analysis in six news stories from 3-8 October 2022 on CNNIndonesia .com. The results obtained from this study show that, first of all, Anies' image is constructed as a leader who must focus on his position and work. The second news framing Anies' positive image as a leader who is able to carry out two mandates at once and not shirk responsibility. The third news framing Anies as a leader who is clean, honest and wise in dealing with problems. The fourth news framing Anies as a populist leader. The fifth news framing Anies as a political figure who still lacks support. The sixth news, framing Anies' image as a leader who is clean from corruption cases. This study aims to investigate the representation of women in television advertisements for Attack Easy detergent promotions and analyze gender inequality based on subordination, workload, and gender and sex differences. The study employed qualitative research and Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis to explore the relationship between signifiers and signs in a sign with denotations and connotations. The findings revealed a complex portrayal of gender, including both gender equality and gender imbalance. While women are depicted as capable of performing heavy work typically done by men, they are still relegated to the role of housewives and remain subordinate in society. Additionally, gender differences are often conflated with sex differences, contributing to ongoing misunderstandings about the nature of gender inequality. Overall, this research underscores the need for more nuanced representations of gender in media and highlights the ongoing challenges facing efforts to achieve gender equality in society.

This study explores the significance of interpersonal communication in the relationship between single working mothers and their children in a residential setting. Employing qualitative descriptive methods, the study utilizes primary and secondary sources of data through interviews and observations. Data analysis is conducted through conclusion writing, data presentation, and data minimization. The findings suggest that effective communication between single mothers who work and their children has a substantial impact on their relationship. Parent-child relationships are key factors influencing child behavior. A balanced approach to parenting ensures that healthy persistence does not result in a lack of compassion in the child, and vice versa. Children's behavior is shaped by their surroundings, with parents being the closest elements. Thus, it is essential for single mothers who also play the role of a father to set good examples through prioritizing their children's interests, promoting healthy interpersonal communication, supervising their children, and creating an environment in which children feel secure enough to open up to their parents. Overall, this study highlights the importance of effective communication in building strong parent-child relationships in single-mother households.

This article aims to explain the History of the Barzanji Tradition. The Barzanji tradition has been carried out since Islam entered Indonesia. It is undeniable that the entry of Islam had a major influence on Bugis culture. Likewise with the tradition of reading Barzanji in the Rantau Parapat community. In society, the reading of Barzanji is usually done on occasions, such as the pilgrimage. But it's not limited to just that commemoration, the Barzanji tradition is also held on various occasions, as a tribute to the achievement of something better. For example, at the time of the birth of a baby, shaving the baby's hair (akikah), circumcision, weddings and other ceremonies at Rantau Parapat. This research is a qualitative research using the historical method. So the steps taken in this research are heuristics (data collection), verification (Source Criticism), interpretation and historiography. In data collection techniques, the authors collect data from two sources, namely primary sources and secondary sources. From the data collection, then the data is analyzed and interpreted based on chronological order.
