Abstract

Penggunaan narasi populisme dalam upaya pencitraan adalah hal yang mainstream dan sering digunakan dalam komunikasi politik. Populisme dinilai sebagai strategi yang mudah bagi para aktor politik untuk dapat mempengaruhi pemikiran dan persepsi pemilih. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian mengenai bagaimana ide dan strategi ini berkembang dan digunakan sebagai salah satu strategi membangun citra diri oleh politisi di Indonesia. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode observasi digital, peneliti memberikan gambaran bagaimana ide populisme dilekatkan sebagai citra atau identitas diri dan digunakan dalam kontestasi politik di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa politisi Ganjar Pranowo secara konsisten menggunakan narasi populisme “wong cilik” untuk membangun citra pemimpin “wong cilik”. Hal ini memberi gambaran bahwasanya strategi populisme masih relevan dan banyak digunakan oleh aktor politik di Indonesia termasuk Ganjar Pranowo.

Abstract

This study examines the role of hastags (#BubarkanPOLRI) that first appeared during the Buaya vs Cicak incident where the KPK wiretapped case against the Kabareskrim Mabes Polri which was allegedly involved in disbursing funds from Bank Century customers. Hastag (#BubarkanPolri) Reappeared during the riots at the Kanjuruhan Malang stadium as quoted from the @akmalmarhali20 account "Tear gas shooting is one of the causes of dozens of deaths at Kanjuruhan stadium, STOP COMPETITION ON HUMANITARIAN GROUNDS #Jokowi #BubarkanPOLRI" and @chewulandari__ "Please have a tragedy in Malang to be resolved. Don't ask who's wrong anymore, but ask WHO IS LYING! 1 The police if they turn back the data attacking the community is easy, while the 1000 people shout the dakta is useless. Let alone #BubarkanPOLRI #UsutTuntasTragediKanjuruhan". As well as #polripresisi as a reaction that arises from the development of cases that tarnish the good name of the National Police. As quoted from the @PolsekSebbar account "West Sebatik Police personnel appeal to residents to continue to maintain kamtibmas if there is a problem immediately reported to the Police" and @PolsekLbkPakam "Lubuk Pakam Police SPKT service to the community who make Reports of Loss of Important Letters. Served humanistically, comfortably, and free of levies". This study aims to continue the previous research by comparing two different hastags, namely, #BubarkanPOLRI and #polripresisi to see if the difference in hashtags can have an impact on mobilization between the two fences. #Polripresisi able to create mobilization as measured by the number of network structures formed compared to #BubarkanPOLRI that tend to show the emotions of Twitter users about their dissatisfaction with the Polri as a State institution that should be able to protect and protect the community, of course, the goal is for the National Police to immediately fix themselves with all the dark records that already have, the analysis of this study shows how actors use hastags to get support among twitter users for United in upholding justice.

Abstract

International School like Binus is an outstanding international school of Indonesia which other than the language using foreign language, they also participate in international event a lot. However, it contains some problem in the educational system, with Krippendorf’s content analysis, Author is able to discover that English linguistic bias grows up boldly in international school because they lack actual bilateral relationship. That bilateral relationship can be manifested through human resources having important occupation in foreign school or Binus winning international competition.

Abstract

SEABank is the new digital bank that gives offer with benefit to the customers and predicting their customers capacity well. Though conventional bank also have digital system, SEABank and conventional bank have few differences in features and financial cost. Through Krippendorf content analysis, the topic will be explored moderately and easy to read. The fact that the knowledge and capabilities gap between youngsters and elders make this topic functional for different perspective for SEABank and other digital bank users. The content analysis shows us that even in the middle of dynamic in digital bank and conventional bank, financial literacy will be affected.

Abstract

The Indonesian government encourages educational institutions to implement Online Learning (PJJ) through Law Number 20 of 2003. With the massive development of information and communication technology and the internet, now implementing PJJ system in educational institutions is a necessity. Hence, in 2020 Universitas Multimedia Nusantara established a Communication Study Program in PJJ. In teaching and learning activities, there are theoretical and practical course. This study aims to answer reaseach question about the challenges of practicum course that are implememted through the PJJ system. The method used in this study was Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 40 students who were divided in several groups based on semester level. All FGD pratidipants had taken practicum coursed, namely the Digital Videography and Multimedia Laboratory. The result showed that the challenges faced in practicum courses are the differences of distance and time to complete group assignmenets among the students, the availability of learning support tools and facilities, and the updating of teaching material content. Alternative responses made by students are by subtituting practicum tools and utilizing social media such as Youtube and Instagram to enrich learning material. This study also found several expectations in practicum course, such as renewing learning materials by using language that is easier to understand, adjusting quiz questions, and increasing the frequency of synchronous virtual meetings.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has strong instant noodle culture, most of them grows up with either Indomie or Mie Sedaap regardless they’re rich or poor. Most people cannot resist the taste and flavor of instant noodle; hence, instant noodle becomes Indonesia’s high-ranked product. This time, Lemonilo’s Healthy noodles exists with a different value and core compared to the other instant noodle in Indonesia. Lemonilo’s Healthy noodles exists with Sustainable branding that includes diverse health campaign. Lemonilo’s Healthy noodles that healthy instant noodle with good digital content exists in Indonesian Instant Noodle industry.

Abstract

Seringnya mengkonsumsi konten pornografi hingga melakukan masturbasi memiliki efek kecanduan pada penikmatnya dan dalam aktivitas menonton video, foto hingga ilustrasi yang berbau pornografi akan menjadi rutinitas tersendiri bagi orang yang sudah kecanduan. Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika RI terus mengajak masyarakat untuk berperan aktif dalam melawan pornografi di internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep dan makna dari setiap gambar unggahan yang dijadikan bahan penelitian pada akun Instagram @fapstronautindonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis Semiotika sebagai metode dalam mendeskripsikan beberapa unggahan yang dijadikan penelitian. Terdapat sembilan unggahan yang akan digunakan sebagai bahan analisis berupa 7 unggahan gambar dan 2 video yang banyak disukai atau berdasarkan likes tertinggi sepanjang tahun 2022. Kartun animasi menjadi bahan yang sering digunakan pada setiap postingan dengan menyisipkan kalimat dengan bahasa yang kekinian, cerita yang sederhana, serta di beberapa konten juga memberikan informasi yang edukatif seputar pornografi. Dengan adanya unggahan yang dibuat, diharapkan masyarakat bisa paham akan bahaya pornografi dan bersama-sama menjauhi dari kecanduan pornografi.

Abstract

This study aimed to discuss the role of the Premature Indonesia support group in health communication as an effort to prevent retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in Indonesia. ROP is an eye developmental disorder due to premature birth, which results in a child’s permanent blindness. The awareness about the risk of ROP is still very low so health communication efforts are currently necessary. This study was conducted using a qualitative research approach with in-depth interviews as the primary data. The secondary data were collected through literature study, observation, and researcher’s experience. The results showed that Premature Indonesia’s health communication efforts were carried out through several stages namely analyzing main problems, selecting credible and experienced educators, using social media as the main communication medium, and formulating and delivering explicit health information messages. Through these health communication efforts, the Premature Indonesia support group could increase health awareness and the risk of ROP in premature babies along with its prevention efforts. Abstract

Tragedi Sepakbola Kanjuruan di Malang pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2022 menjadi perhatian dan perbincangan di media sosial Twitter yang memunculkan berbagai tagar diantaranya tagar #SepakbolaKanjuruan dan tagar #DukungPSSI. Melalui kedua tagar yang berbeda ini peneliti akan mengidentifikasi struktur jaringan, kelompok dan peran aktor dalam kedua tagar tersebut. Penelitian ini mengacu pada Theory of Digital Movement of Opinion (DMO) dan Digital Fandom. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah tagar yang berbeda, yaitu tagar #SepakbolaKanjuruan dan tagar #DukungPSSI, dapat menghasilkan mobilisasi yang berbeda pada media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui media sosial twitter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui perbincangan di media twitter dengan tagar #sepakbolaKanjuruan dari tanggal 2 Oktober 2022 hingga 4 oktober 2022 menghasilkan 2500 tweet sedangkan perbincangan tagar #DukungPSSI dikumpulkan dari tanggal 14 November hingga 22 November 2022 menghasilkan 86 tweet. Data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan Analisa Jaringan Sosial (SNA) diproses menggunakan perangkat lunak Netlytic. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan dalam struktur jaringan, kelompok dan peran aktor . Pada tagar #SepakbolaKanjuruan struktur jaringannya lebih bersifat Homogen , kelompok lebih terorganisir dan peran aktornya lebih dua arah sehingga memunculkan interaksi parasosial atau digital fandom sedangkan untuk tagar #DukungPSSI yang digunakan oleh tweet politik pendukung kandidat Ketua PSSI memunculkan struktur yang lebih heterogen, kurang aktif , cenderung tidak terorganisir dan peran aktornya satu arah. Identifikasi yang dihasilkan tagar #Sepakbola Kanjuruan terlihat lebih dapat memobilisasi khalayak publik dalam suatu opini daripada tagar #DukungPSSI.

Abstract

General Elections, or community participation in regional head elections, is a democratic method for selecting future leaders who can effectively lead their regions. A voter's behavior, influenced by their family and community, determines whether they will vote for a particular candidate in the general election. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how people in Surabaya vote in general election activities in Surabaya City. The descriptive qualitative research method was chosen in accordance with the objectives of the study. With a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of +/- 2.31 percent, this study employs a survey method. Data collection was carried out using face-to-face interview techniques with questionnaire guidelines. The results of the study show that the majority of voters are very open to and influenced by the political communication activities of the candidates so that the behavioral characteristics of voters to elect members of the candidates are based on the selection of media and political channels (mass media, online media, and outdoor media), props and campaign attributes, as well as the activeness of legislative candidates on social media.
