Abstract

The purpose of this research was to explore and uncover the values of Pepali Ki Ageng Selo as the ethics of citizenship. The research’s method used qualitative philosophical approach with factual historical research method conducted by philosophical investigation which followed the way and direction of mind presented in the book entitled Pepali Ki Ageng Selo through interpretation, induction and deduction, interent coherence, holistic, historical continuity, idealization, comparison, heuristika, inclusion or analogical language, description, special methods and reflections of personal researchers. The results of the study revealed the values of Pepali Ki Ageng Selo as the ethics of citizenship. These values were the ethics of citizenship in the life of a nation consisted of (1) socio-cultural ethics; (2) political and governmental ethics; (3) economic and business ethics; (4) scientific ethics; and (5) environmental ethics. These values were the form of orders and prohibitions that should be implemented by citizens in order to achieve happiness. Thus, the results of this study can be a reference in the implementation of Citizenship Education, especially in the context of Pancasila as a political and state ethics. Excavation of philosophical values taught through Pepali Ki Ageng Selo certainly in an effort to strengthen the values contained in the ideology of Pancasila.

Abstract

Kewaspadaan Nasional merupakan suatu arti kata yang sangat bermakna dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, kewaspadaan sering kita artikan sebagai makna dari kehati-hatian bagi setiap individu. Oleh karena itu apalah arti sebuah nama kalau substansinya dapat lebih dipahami. Dengan menggunakan istilah kewaspadaan nasional pada tulisan ini hendak merancang konsep dan strategi common enemy, yang saat ini memang sangat diperlukan oleh bangsa ini. Konsep dan strategi musuh Bersama merupakan konsep yang terbukti mujarab menyatukan energi kolektif bangsa. Secara yuridis hak dan kewajiban bela negara diwadahi dalam pasal 27 ayat (3) Bab X UUD 1945. Resultante dari ayat ini adalah pasal 30 Bab XII UUD 1945 yang berisi hak dan kewajban warga negara dalam usaha pertahanan dan keamanan negara. Pertahanan negara diselenggarakan dalam Sistem Pertahanan dan Keamanan Rakyat Semesta. Untuk percepatan implementasi bela negara dalam meningkatkan kewaspadaan nasional di tengah berbagai keterbatasan khususnya waktu, menciptakan common enemy menjadi tinggi relevansinya. Pembatasan oleh kondisi lingkungan strategis, di samping menyangkut waktu juga menyangkut semakin lembutnya dan semakin kompleksnya dimensi ancaman yang berkembang dewasa ini. Untuk itu di samping strategi common enemy, harus dipersiapkan pula aspek mental dan sosio kultural. Strategi common enemy memang strategi yang tepat, tetapi jika semangat penyelenggara negara tidak memahami sosio-kultural masyarakatnya sangat sulit dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the Pancasila and Citizenship Education curriculum as compulsory university courses in Islamic tertiary institutions, such as universities under the Muhammadiyah Islamic Community Organization foundation. The Pancasila Ideology assessment organization is in line with Islamic values, namely declaring the concept of the Pancasila State as Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah. This concept also needs to be internalized into the educational curriculum as a learning medium to introduce the relationship between the Pancasila Ideology and the Islamic Religion. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data sources through thorough observation techniques and in-depth interviews related to the research object. This research is also equipped with secondary data sources, namely literature studies in the form of books, journals, and documents related to education and the Pancasila ideology as well as Islamic values in view. This research shows that Muhammadiyah College needs to form a modernist and reformist educational framework, which is able to build Muhammadiyah ideology by maintaining the nationalism of the Indonesian nation which is based on the state ideology through the education system.

Abstract

The most dominant factor causing street children is due to family economic problems that are not able to meet the necessities of life. Apart from economic factors, the family can also be relied on by cultural, social, and parental education factors that are still low so that they cannot motivate children to live better lives. The income that street children earn varies depending on the time on the road and the type of work they choose. The average income of street children is around Rp. 50,000, - up to Rp. 100.000, - with a choice of professions as buskers, hawkers, and car glass cleaners. The spots for street children are mostly found, which are blocked by red lights or other places such as the center of the situation. The behavior of active and passive assisted members is no different, but when compared to passive members, it is very easy for active members and is directed to a better pattern of behavior. The purpose of this research is to look at the background of street children in Balong Cangkring which is focused on the reasons for being street children; income; a gathering place; and the behavior of active and passive assisted members. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach, descriptive analysis techniques, semi-structured interviews and semi-participant observation. Participants were taken by using purposive sampling technique as many as 8 respondents.

Abstract

Schools not only teach students in knowledge but teach them how to have skills in opinion because this is very important for students. Many steps can be taken by educators to be able to improve the opinion skills of the students themselves. Thus, the learning process in the world of education today is faced with various choices of learning models. The existence of a learning model, demands the role of an educator to always innovate in the classroom. Educators must be able to choose a learning model because the model chosen will have a direct impact on students. This article aims to analyze how the open problem learning model can improve students' speaking skills. The method used in this paper is to use the approach to writing this article is a qualitative conceptual analysis. The results of this article discuss the concept of open problems in elementary schools and skills in expressing students' opinions through open problem models in low-grade PPKn subjects. Meanwhile, the recommendations of this article can target educators because educators have a central role in selecting and applying open problem learning models to students.

Abstract

Along with the times, individual attitudes and personalities have changed, there have been many juvenile delinquencies at school and outside of school. Teachers are educators who become figures, role models, and identification for their students. Teachers also have the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students in formal education, basic education, and secondary education. The teacher's direction becomes a guide for the activities of the students. A teacher not only teaches, but also educates and trains students in order to achieve the expected learning goals. This study aims to determine the role of Pancasila and civic education teachers in shaping the attitudes and personalities of students at SMP Negeri 9. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of this study indicate that the role of teachers in shaping the attitudes and personalities of students is very important. The role of teachers in shaping the attitudes and personalities of students can be by forming students so that they have a love for the country, have a strong sense of nationality, foster mutual respect and respect for fellow humans in school life and in society, always obey the rules apply, and shape students to recognize that Indonesia is a pluralistic country consisting of various religions, races, ethnicities, languages and cultures

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu banyaknya kasus korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme yang terjadi di Negara Indonesia, serta para terjadinya dekadensi moral yang terjadi pada kalangan generasi muda dan ditambah situasi pandemi Covid-19. Situasi pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan pembelajaran secara daring dan menjadi tantangan dalam Pendidikan karakter jujur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan melakukan wawancara secara virtual kepada mahasiswa yang mengontrak MKWU Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kegiatan internalisasi karakter jujur pada MKWU Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan bisa dilaksanakan dengan baik menggunakan blanded learning dan kendala yang dihadapi yaitu mahasiswa merasa bosen dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Family and school are the agents of political socialization that play a major role in shaping the political orientation of students. Both of them have enormous control because most of the process in transmitting information about politics takes place in the family and school environment which has an impact on the formation of political orientation. This study aims to determine the role of families and schools in the formation of students' political orientation in Sleman Regency. The approach to this research is quantitative with a survey method to the 307 people who were randomly selected as sample of this research. The result show that the role of family and school was still low. In this case, the role of the family in the formation of political orientation by 31%, while the role of the school made an effective contribution of 5.3%.
