Abstract

Some traffic problems often arise due to an activity from the side of the road segment. Congestion is a problem that often occurs in urban road traffic. Congestion is caused by a lack of ability or capacity of the road to provide services to the volume of vehicles crossing a certain road section as well as the presence of high side friction conflicts that cause vehicle speeds to slow down which results in a non-smooth traffic flow.Sangkareang Park is one of the areas located in the center of Mataram City which is a public facility for the community. This resulted in an increase in side barriers on roads around Sangkareang Park. This study aims to determine the value of side friction and road performance on roads around Sangkareang Park, namely Jalan Flamboyan and Jalan Pelita. Furthermore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of the side friction on road performance as described by speed and degree of saturation. The results of the study on the Flamboyan road section had the highest side resistance, speed, and degree of saturation values of 814.8 incidents/hour, 32.53 km/hour, and 0.09. On the Pelita road, the highest values of side resistance, speed, and degree of saturation were 1614.6 incidents/hour, 30.90 km/hour, and 0.16 respectively. The results of the simultaneous regression analysis found that the side resistance affects the speed and degree of saturation. The results of the partial regression analysis show that on the Flamboyan road, the side friction variable that has the most influence on speed and degree of saturation is Slow Vehicles (SMV) while on Pelita road, the side resistance variable that has the most effect on speed and degree of saturation is vehicles entering and leaving (EEV). ) followed by the parking and stopping vehicle variable (PSV).

Abstract

Soil moisture is an important factor needed by plants for growth, and therefore the amount of soil moisture that can be stored depends on the type of soil or the composition of the soil-forming materials. Compost is one of the nutrients that is often used in the manufacture of planting media on land in the form of polybags, and the amount of compost composition on the soil is thought to greatly affect the ability to store water in the media, both the size and duration of storage. This study aims to examine the effect of using compost on storage of irrigation water in the form of soil moisture and how long it can be stored. in three-storey drip irrigation. The main data analyzed is soil moisture data (w) and the results of the analysis and discussion and conclusions are drawn descriptively. The results of the analysis show that the initial soil moisture content in the range of 19% -25%, can be given additional soil moisture by irrigation of about 12%. The average daily decrease in soil moisture that occurs in soil variation 1 (70%: 30% ) is 3% -4.4% and in soil variation 2 (50%: 50%), the average moisture reduction is around 3% -6%, soil moisture reduction in variation 2 is greater than soil variation 1 for all floors.

Abstract

BPJS Employment data revealed that work accidents reached 153,044 cases throughout 2020. Based on the location of the incident, in the work environment work accidents occur as many as 68.5 percent of cases. The provision and use of personal protective equipment is an effort to improve occupational safety and health. Work experience and selection behavior of PPE types affect adherence to PPE use. From the results of an initial survey conducted on August 19, 2022 using the interview method with contractor staff at The Umalas Signature Project in charge of K3, during the project which has been approximately 5 months, no training on K3 has been held for workers even though work accidents are dominant because construction workers are careless and undisciplined in the use of personal protective equipment. There are three factors that can affect the use of personal protective equipment from workers, namely psychological factors, individual factors, and organizational factors. Data was collected by questionnaire and interviews with 39 respondents, then the data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive data analysis methods and scoring analysis. Data analysis was conducted to determine the most dominant factors influencing worker motivation in using personal protective equipment (PPE) and to measure what is the level of motivation of workers in using personal protective equipment (PPE) based on individual, psychological, and organizational factors. The results of this study are the most dominant factors influencing worker motivation in using personal protective equipment (PPE) are organizational factors in the FO 3 statement item with a percentage value of 95% and an average score of 4.5 (very strong). Then based on multiple linear regression analysis tests, Individual Factors showed an influence value of 44.4%. Psychological factors show an influence value of 41.4%. Organizational factors showed an influence value of 67.1%.

Abstract

Since the reform in 1998, many new breakthroughs have emerged in advancing governance in Indonesia. The decentralization policy, which is hereinafter better known as the regional autonomy policy. With the enactment of this regional autonomy policy, it is hoped that regional financial independence can be realized. In this study the data analysis technique used was the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t test, F test. The results obtained were tcount (2.209) > ttable (1.782) and a significant level of 0.047 was greater than 0.05. Then Hi is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that Regional Original Income partially has a positive and significant effect on Capital Expenditures. Because tcount (4.814) > ttable (1.782), then Hi is accepted and H0 is rejected with a significance level of 0.000. This means that the General Allocation Fund partially has a positive and significant effect on Capital Expenditures and tcount (5.380) > ttable (1.782), then Hi is accepted and H0 is rejected with a significance level of 0.000. This means that the Special Allocation Fund partially has a positive and significant effect on Capital Expenditure that Local Own Revenue, General Allocation Funds and Special Allocation Funds have an influence on capital expenditure. Because Fcount (47.051) > Ftable (3.49), then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted with a significance level of 0.000. This means that regional original income, general allocation funds and special allocation funds have a significant effect simultaneously on capital expenditure.

Abstract

The large number of cows in East Waru Village makes the need for cattle feed also higher. However, the availability of fodder is still relatively insufficient, especially during the dry seasons. This provides an opportunity for East Waru BUMDes to build a cattle feed business. This study aims to determine market conditions through Primary Market Research  and identify the East Waru BUMDs cattle feed business model. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research and Primary Market Research will be conducted on 94 farmers in East Waru Village and then develop a Business Model Canvas. The results of Primary Market Research show that 86% of farmers are interested in buying fermented cattle feed that will be sold by BUMDes Wartim Maslahah. Moreover, the need for feed also increases. The cattle feed business will start running if all the plans and costs are in place. The BUMDes plan is to synergize with the local government and work with farmer groups in marketing their products. All total costs have also been predicted so that you can calculate what needs to be prepared. It is hoped that the results of the BMC can help the process of establishing a livestock feed business belonging to BUMDes Wartim Maslahah so that it runs smoothly.

Abstract

Mangosteen peel contains various bioactive compounds, such as xanthones, flavonoids, and tannins, which have attracted researchers' attention as potential natural immunostimulants to enhance the immune system of fish and other aquatic organisms. In this article, various recent studies examining the effects of mangosteen peel extract on the immune response of fish and aquatic organisms have been reviewed. Some research findings include increased phagocytosis activity, survival rate, and more active total hematocrit in species such as common carp (Cyprinus carpio), Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), and African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) treated with mangosteen peel extract. Furthermore, administering mangosteen peel extract can promote growth in aquatic animals. In conclusion, the use of mangosteen peel extract as an immunostimulant in aquaculture holds the potential to enhance the immune response and resilience of fish and aquatic organisms. Improved immune responses can help protect them from pathogens and diseases (such as Aeromonas hydrophila and Vibrio harvey), as well as increase survival and productivity in aquaculture systems. Although these research findings are promising, further studies are needed to better understand the detailed mechanisms of action of mangosteen peel as an immunostimulant, and to evaluate optimal dosages and potential side effects. The use of mangosteen peel as an immunostimulant could serve as an effective natural alternative to strengthen the immune system of fish and aquatic organisms, but more comprehensive research is necessary before widespread and safe implementation in aquaculture practices.
