Using a quantitative method and simple linear analysis, a questionnaire was distributed to 59 students of Economic Education at Panca Sakti University Bekasi. The KIP-K scholarship has a direct impact on learning motivation. This is evidenced by a value of 76.1%, indicating that the KIP-K scholarship influences learning motivation by 76.1%, while other components not examined in this study account for the remaining portion. Therefore, the KIP-K scholarship is an important factor that must be considered to foster learning motivation.

The study was conducted on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020–2022. This study is a quantitative study and the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of samples with certain criteria that were set, so that a sample of 63 companies was obtained. The statistical analysis used includes the Normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation test, determination coefficient test, F test and t test. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. After conducting the study, the results are Liquidity has a positive and significant effect on Financial Distress, Leverage has a negative and significant effect on Financial Distress, and Profitability has a negative and significant effect on Financial Distress.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of the menyabraya culture on the performance of Balinese MSMEs in Mataram City, Lombok. Using quantitative methods, this research involved 100 respondents selected from a population of 1,365 business actors, based on the Slovin formula. There is a research gap that indicates a lack of empirical studies on the contribution of local culture to economic performance, especially in the context of migration. The novelty of this research lies in the emphasis on a culture of equality as a key variable that can strengthen social networks and collaboration among MSME players. The results of analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) software based on Partial Least Square (PLS) show that a culture of equality has a positive and significant influence on the performance of MSMEs. This conclusion indicates that the values of solidarity and cooperation in this culture are able to encourage increased productivity and innovation among business actors. The contribution of this research provides valuable insight for MSME actors and policy makers in designing empowerment strategies based on local cultural values, so as to increase the competitiveness and economic welfare of the Balinese community in Mataram.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand how communal space develops in the Car Free Day (CFD) Renon in Denpasar, which transforms from a traffic space into a social space every week. Combination methods—also known as mixed methods—were used in this research. This method includes a qualitative approach through interviews and observations as well as a quantitative approach through surveys and questionnaires. The focus of the research is on physical space, how the space is used, social interactions, and the impact on the local community. The research results show that the distribution of communities in the CFD is relatively even, and the flow of visitor movement does not significantly affect the distribution of communities. Adequate public space, strategic and easily accessible locations, and opportunities for social interaction among communities are all factors that contribute to a positive community response. However, the issues faced by some communities include visitor congestion that reduces the efficiency of activities and the disorderliness of communal space arrangements in CFD. Therefore, gaining a better understanding of how CFD spaces are used can aid in better urban planning, improve urban quality of life, and encourage similar design efforts in other cities

Jembrana became  strategic location for building construction cinema new, apart from due to public interest  strong towards film, Jembrana also does not have entertainment facilities such as cinemas. The purpose of  This research includes feasibility studies, design specifications, basic concepts and design themes.  This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of  observation and literature. Data processing in the form of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions,  synthesis and transformation methods. The design results for the Cinema Center in Jembrana refer to the concept a recreational and educational basis with an architectural theme, namely Green Architecture to support  environment. This facility was built on a land area of 10,838.24 m² in Jl. Udayana no. 1, Baluk, Jembrana  with space requirements of 13,005.88 m². The design of the cinema center in Jembrana takes into account the design concepts that have been prepared, including the site design concept, building design concept, structure and materials concept and utility concept

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, access to capital, fintech peer to peer lending, and payment gateways on the financial performance of MSMEs. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study is all MSMEs in Mataram District. The sample was taken using the purposive sampling method with the criteria of MSME actors in Mataram District, MSME actors registered with the Mataram City Cooperatives & SMEs Office, MSME actors who are Small and Medium Enterprises, and MSME actors who use Payment Gateways so that a sample of 100 MSMEs was obtained. Data was obtained by distributing 100 questionnaires to MSME actors in Mataram District directly and through google forms. The analysis data used SPSS 27 with classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that independent variables (financial literacy, access to capital, fintech peer to peer lending, and payment gateway) are able to influence the dependent variable (MSME financial performance) by 68.2% while the remaining 31.8% of MSME financial performance is influenced by other variables outside the regression model used in this study.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of English language training on the performance of daily worker employees at Fairmont Hotel Jakarta. Using quantitative methods and simple linear regression analysis, the study involved 67 randomly selected respondents. The results show a significant positive influence of English language training on employee performance, with 41.2% of performance variation explicable by language training. These findings affirm the importance of investing in language skill development as a strategy to enhance service quality in the hospitality industry. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed, including recommendations for developing more effective training programs and integrating language skills into human resource management in the hospitality sector. This research contributes significantly to understanding the critical role of English language skills in improving employee performance in the Indonesian hospitality industry.

Abstract

English is a global language that serves as a link between different parts of the world. Rich vocabulary and mastery of sentence structure are two of the many important elements in learning English. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of using YouTube videos in improving students' vocabulary and learning motivation in learning English. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 28 students of class XI of Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Mitra Nusantara in the academic year 2023/2024. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and initial and final tests. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase in students' active participation and an increase in vocabulary scores. The pre-test average score of 59.64 increased to 70.07 in the cycle 1 post-test, and to 80.39 in the cycle 2 post-test. The number of students who met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) increased from 10 students in the pre-test, to 18 students in cycle 1, and 24 students in cycle 2. The findings indicate that the use of YouTube videos as learning media is more effective than conventional methods in improving students' English vocabulary. The researcher suggests that teachers consider the integration of audio-visual media such as YouTube videos in English language learning to improve students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mushroom-based flavoring is one of the vegetable source food additives that contain glutamate so that it can be used as a substitute for artificial flavoring. Mushrooms that can be used are straw mushrooms. The addition of carrots aims to add nutrients to vegetable stock powder products. This aims of this study was to determine the combination of straw mushroom and carrot on chemical quality and the best treatment produced by vegetable stock  powder. This research is an experimental research conducted in the laboratory. The first thing that was done was making vegetable stock powder with combination of straw mushroom and carrot then continued with chemical analysis. The results showed that the best treatment for the powdered stock of straw mushroom and carrot based on the chemical quality in this study was treatment J1 (100% merang mushroom: 0% carrot) with a value of 11.32% moisture content, 9.20% ash content and 12.63% crude fiber.
