Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of empowerment programs to improve the skills of women with disabilities, whether it has an impact on their household economy. The research case study was conducted at the Himpunan Wanita Disabilitas Indonesia (HWDI) Makassar. This research is a qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique is carried out with an in-depth interview where this method will develop questions from a prepared list. The analysis method uses a triangulation technique where this technique will mutually confirm the data obtained from each informant. The goal is that the data obtained becomes valid and objective. The results showed that empowerment in the form of improving skills for women with disabilities is still not effective in helping the household economy. This happened because of the lack of post-activity control in the form of follow-up assistance from the organizers for women with disabilities. As a result, women with disabilities have not been able to maximize their potential and skills to produce products that have economic value in society. So that it does not have a significant impact on the household economy of women with disabilities.

Abstract

The potential for coastal resources in the Sekotong region, West Nusa Tenggara is very large both from an ecological and economic perspective. Various types of aquatic biota, both macroorganisms and microorganisms such as phytoplankton, can be found in this area. Phytoplankton can generally be used as a bioindicator to monitor water conditions, pollution and eutrophication. This research aims to determine the composition of the abundance and community of phytoplankton in the Sekotong coastal area. This research was carried out in January 2023 using a descriptive method, namely taking and measuring samples in the field and then describing the results. The highest phytoplankton abundance results obtained were 8640 cells/l, which is included in the oligotrophic or low category. Meanwhile, the phytoplankton composition found consisted of Chrysophyta and Cyanophyta. The results of the dominance index range from 0.19 to 0.34, which means low dominance, while the diversity index ranges from 0.91 to 1.71, which means moderate diversity. Water quality conditions show normal water values. So in general, the condition of the phytoplankton community in the Sekotong Beach area is still in the normal category with low abundance.

Abstract

The existing transmission pipeline network in Kintamani District, especially in the RV-II Reservoir in Catur Village to the RV-III Reservoir in Belantih Village, often experiences disruption due to leaks. The existing transmission pipe has a diameter of 12 inches and is of the Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) type. The current condition of the existing transmission pipe has been repaired several times due to leakage problems and the age of the pipe can be categorized as old. This research is to determine the condition of the existing transmission pipe network and find solutions to overcome problems in the leaking transmission pipe network. So that the water discharge pumped to RV-III Belantih Village can be maintained at 60 l/sec. Hydraulic analysis of pipe networks using the Epanet program. Based on primary data, the total pipe length from RV-II Catur Village to RV-III Belantih Village is 5,050 m. However, the plan to replace the existing transmission pipe is only 1,200 m long. Based on the results of the analysis of population growth in Catur Village and Belantih Village, the calculation results show that it is 0.0127% per year. The service distribution network to Catur Village and Belantih Village of 18.75 l/s is only able to meet the population's water needs until 2036. Simulation using the Epanet program, at nodes RP2.16 to RP2.40, the Ø10 inch PVC pipe design has a maximum pressure of 8,857 bar while the existing Ø12 inch PVC pipe has a maximum pressure of 9.3 bar. The simulated flow discharge for 24 hours is constant at 60 l/s resulting in a flow velocity of 1.22 m/s. Replacing pipes using Ø 10 inch PVC pipes is safer and more cost effective.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of Compensation, Motivation, and Communication on employee job satisfaction. The research object was the LPD (Village Credit Institution) of Belayu Customary Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. The sample consisted of 34 employees. The research method employed was quantitative using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of hypothesis testing, partially (t-test), showed a positive and significant influence of Compensation, Motivation, and Communication on employee job satisfaction at the LPD of Belayu Customary Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. The F-test results indicated that collectively, Compensation, Motivation, and Communication significantly influenced employee job satisfaction at the LPD of Belayu Customary Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency

Abstract

Every regional government has an obligation to improve community services and welfare in a democratic, fair, equitable and sustainable manner. If the government is able to manage regional potential, both natural resource potential, human resources and financial resources optimally, then the government is considered capable of carrying out its obligations. The financial performance of the government and regions can be seen from the successful management of these potentials. The type of research used is quantitative research because the data is collected in the form of figures from regional financial reports. The data source that will be analyzed in this paper is secondary data. Secondary data is data obtained from the West Sumbawa Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Service which relates to regional budgets and realization. Regional financial management must be implemented effectively and efficiently, transparently and accountably. Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budgets must also be transparently accountable to the public. Accountability is the final stage in regional financial management through reporting. The financial performance of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of West Sumbawa Regency from 2021-2022 is not good. This can be seen from the calculation results of the Effectiveness Ratio and Growth Ratio. The financial performance of the Regional Original Income (PAD) of the West Sumbawa Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Service, when viewed from the Effectiveness Ratio, is categorized as ineffective, because the average effectiveness from 2021-2022 is below 60%, namely 21.38%. The details are as follows: In 2021 it will be 30.74%, and in 2022 it will be 12.02%

Abstract

This study focuses on the principle of legality in criminal law as a means of dealing with child marriage. Child marriages, which continue to occur today, have become a social phenomenon in various regions, not only occurring among ordinary people, but also in Islamic boarding school environments. The approach method uses conceptual (conceptual approach) and statutory (statute approach). The legal materials used come from documented legal materials in the library. Analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. This study resulted in the finding that child marriage is not a criminal act according to the principle of legality as regulated in Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code (KUHP) because the prohibition on child marriage is clearly and firmly regulated in the jurisdiction of the Civil Law, especially Article 7 paragraph 1 of the Marriage Law. Moreover, this prohibition is not absolute because it can be excluded by the existence of Article 7 paragraph 2 which provides legal policy for court judges to grant requests for marriage dispensation requested by parents or guardians of children for very urgent and unavoidable reasons in order to protect the child. . On the other hand, the current criminal law policy as a means of overcoming child marriage does not contain terminology that clearly and firmly regulates the prohibition and sanctions for perpetrators of child marriage, but what is regulated is the prohibition of forced child marriage and making child marriage a means of exploiting children. Apart from that, the existence of Article 288 of the Criminal Code relating to the prohibition of sexual intercourse with children who are thought to be unfit for marriage has no force and at the same time there are indications of a conflict of norms with the existence of Article 7 paragraph 2 of the Marriage Law, in line with the positive legal theory which views the granting of marriage dispensations by The authorized institution can erase the perpetrator's mistakes to become a reason for forgiveness and justification in criminal law

Abstract

The concept of sustainable development has basically become the concern of all parties, especially in tourist destination areas. The Ayung riverside area is one of the tourist destinations for local and foreign residents. The rapid development of the Ayung riverside environment has a great impact on the environment around the village. The environment around the village sometimes becomes a place of uncontrolled development that causes environmental damage characterized by decreased air, water and soil quality, resulting in the extinction of animals, plants, wildlife and damage to ecosystems. In this context, it is necessary to apply ecological architecture to the construction of urban support works, including riverside areas. This study aims to determine public perceptions related to the application of ecological design concepts to sustainable development in the Ayung riverside area. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, analyzing according to the principles of ecological design. The application of ecological architecture on the banks of the Ayung river is expected to ensure the sustainability of the ecosystem and minimize negative impacts on the environment due to improper ecological design. The results of this study show that ecological principles can be applied in the Ayung riverside area, including the arrangement of several buildings to create dynamic green spaces while still based on local wisdom

Abstract

Red chilies are a source of income for some farmers in Baturiti Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. This research aims to determine income and factors that influence red chili farming income. The research was conducted in Baturiti Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. The data taken includes primary and secondary data. Primary data was taken through interviews using a structured questionnaire with 60 farmers as respondents. Multiple linear regression models were used to analyze the data. The results of the analysis show, (1) The average red chili farming income is IDR 78,661,752.00 per hectare; and (2) seeds, KCl fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, chicken manure, and red chili prices have a positive and real effect on income, while pesticides have a significant and negative effect on income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of capital, labor, and working hours on the income of the tile industry in Pejaten Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. The sample size of tile entrepreneurs studied using a census technique amounted to 42 entrepreneurs. Data analysis was conducted using the multiple linear regression method. Based on the results of SPSS calculations, it was found that capital, labor, and working hours partially have a significant positive effect on the income of the tile industry in Pejaten Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, with the regression function Y = 79,132,221.694 + 56,721.048X1 + 36,182.962X2 + 13,685.501X3. From the estimation results of the model, the calculated F value is 49.254 and the sig F value is 0.000 with an F table value of 2.85. Since the calculated F value is greater than the F table value (49.254 > 2.85) and the sig F value (0.000 < 0.05), it means that the variables of capital, labor, and working hours simultaneously have a significant effect on the income of the tile industry in Pejaten Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. R2 = 0.895 indicates that 89.5% of the variation in income (Y) can be explained by the variation in capital, labor, and working hours, while the remaining 10.5% is explained by other variables not mentioned in this research model. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded as follows: Capital, labor, and working hours have a significant positive effect partially on the income of the tile industry in Pejaten Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. Capital, labor, and working hours have a significant simultaneous effect on the income of the tile industry in Pejaten Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the management of Arabic language learning at Al-aziziyah high school son of Gunung Sari, to find out how students' learning motivation is in learning Arabic at Al-aziziyah high school son of Gunung Sari. The Research Method used is field research with a qualitative approach whose research (field research) is qualitative, therefore the journal that the author compiled uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the management of Arabic language learning in Madrasah Aliyah Al-aziziyah putra Gunung sari is not optimal. Student learning motivation in Arabic language learning at Al-aziziyah high school  putra Gunung sari and have not been motivated in learning Arabic even though thoroughly, judging from the learning process of students in the classroom students listen to the teacher who is explaining in front of the class, there is still less motivation to learn Arabic for students in the Al-aziziyah high school putra Gunung sari.
