Urban areas in Bali are experiencing rapid development as tourism normalises, gradually entering a process of urban renewal. Improving the quality of the pedestrian environment is an important issue. The purpose of this research is to study how a person's physical condition, concepts, and activities affect their physical character and interest in walking. A quantitative method was used using randomly distributed open-ended questionnaires. Pedestrian criteria and facilities will be the source of data categorised in inhibiting pedestrians. A person who wants to walk should have good access and well-maintained facilities so that urban areas can be specialised for pedestrian paths.

Abstract

Construction management is a field of study that focuses on the application of various managerial and innovative practices in the construction industry. It covers the principles of Planning, Organizing, Driving, and Controlling (POAC) to effectively manage construction projects and achieve desired results. The nature of construction work often presents potential challenges and obstacles that can impact the overall success of the project. Because of this, it is very necessary to implement construction project control measures, such as quality control, cost control, and time control, throughout the planning, organizing, driving, and process control stages. This research focuses on the Prof. Maternal and Child Health Services Building Construction Project. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Hospital, highlighted the problem of adding a new floor which was not initially included in the detailed engineering design (DED). The main objective is to examine various factors that influence construction management performance in this project. This research uses a quantitative approach, utilizing Microsoft Excel software for analysis. Findings revealed that the Planning factor, with a mean value = 3.97, was the most significant factor influencing construction management performance in this particular project.

Abstract

This study examines the comparative policies on narcotics between Indonesia and the Netherlands using a qualitative approach with a legal comparative method. The primary data includes Indonesia’s Law No. 35 of 2009, supported by scientific literature, digital sources, and additional references. As a highly populated nation, Indonesia faces significant challenges related to narcotics abuse, which can negatively impact its economy and social stability. In tackling narcotics issues, Indonesia applies a repressive policy with severe penalties, contrasting with the Netherlands’ tolerance policy (gedoogbeleid), which distinguishes between hard drugs and soft drugs. This study identifies opportunities for Indonesia to adopt a more flexible approach, such as differentiating regulations by drug type and strengthening international collaboration. Additionally, improving rehabilitation services, public awareness campaigns, and technological applications in narcotics management are expected to effectively address this issue in Indonesia.

Abstract

Adolescents are individuals within the age range of 10 to 18 years. Anemia is a common condition frequently observed during this stage of development. Several factors influence hemoglobin levels, including eating frequency and sleep patterns. This study aims to examine the relationship between eating frequency and sleep patterns with anemia on female adolescents at SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi in 2024. This study employs a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consists of female adolescents in grade VII at SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi. A purposive sampling technique was utilized, resulting in a sample size of 45 female adolescents. Data collection instruments included questionnaires and hemoglobin (HB) checkers. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The study results show that 30 respondents (66.7%) have good eating frequency, while 15 respondents frequency. Additionally, 27 respondents (33.3%) have poor eating (60%) exhibit poor sleep patterns, and 18 respondents (40%) have good sleep patterns. Anemia is present in 27 respondents (60%), while 18 respondents (40%) are not anemic. The analysis reveals the relationship between eating frequency and anemia is p 0.519, meanwhile, the relationship between sleep patterns and anemia is p = 0.000. In conclusion, there is no relationship between eating frequency and anemia among female adolescents at SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi in 2024. However, a relationship is found between sleep patterns and anemia in this population.

Abstract

One of the processed seaweeds is in the form of seaweed dodol. People's demand for seaweed dodol is increasing. The use of seaweed for dodol products can provide added value to the food. It is necessary to process seaweed products considering the high nutritional content in them. Therefore, dodol is a favorite food and is quite popular in several regions of Indonesia, including Lombok. Based on the above, research was conducted with the title "Feasibility Analysis of the UD Seaweed Dodol Business. Harkat Makmur” Cakranegara District. The aim of this research is: to analyze the feasibility of seaweed dodol processing business at UD. Harkat Makmur is based on Benefit Cost (B/C) Ratio, Revenue Cost (R/C) Ratio, and Break Even Point (BEP).               Based on the results and discussion of research results, it can be concluded that UD Harkat Makmur's seaweed dodol business was declared feasible because it had a B/C ratio value of 3.42 > 1. The B/C ratio value of 3.42 shows that for every Rp. 10,000 spent by UD Harkat Makmur it is estimated that it will make an average profit. -an average of IDR 34,200.

Abstract

One type of work accident that often occurs is road transport accidents. The Ministry of Transportation shows a significant increase in the number of road transport accident victims from year to year. In 2022, the number of victims will reach 204,447 people, an increase of 33% compared to the previous year. During this period, 163,686 people recorded accident victims with minor injuries, 27,531 people died, and 12,230 people with serious injuries. This final assignment reviews identifying hazards and controlling the risk of work accidents in the crude oil distribution process at PT Sangkakala Niaga Energi in 2024. This research aims to identify potential hazards, analyze risk factors, and outline risk control measures. This type of research uses qualitative data research methods obtained from interviews, observations, and document analysis. From the results of the observation sheet, you can get an overview of the crude oil distribution process with 9 indicators and 73 statement items. The results of the observations identified 22 hazards and potential events in the crude oil distribution process. The Frequency Level (Possibility) and Severity Level (consequences) have various levels. There are 14 planned control actions that have been implemented, while there are 8 actions that do not include control actions. Researchers suggest that companies provide regular K3 training and disseminate knowledge about PPE in crude oil distribution work and provide sanctions for workers who violate company operational standards (SOP), can equip workers' facilities and provide action on hazards that have not received control measures so that safety programs and occupational health is going well
