Hasta Wiyata adalah nama jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Brawijaya. Kedua istilah tersebut berasal dari bahasa Sanskerta, “hasta” berarti tangan dan “wiyata” berarti pengajaran. Jurnal ini bergerak dalam bidang bahasa, sastra, dan pendidikan. Jurnal Hasta Wiyata memuat hasil penelitian yang inovatif, tulisan ilmiah yang orisinil, refleksi kritis-teoretis, studi literatur, gagasan tertulis, dan artikel konseptual dari berbagai cabang ilmu yang fokus pada kajian bahasa, sastra, dan pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli.

Abstract

The selection of assessment forms is essentially influenced by the applicable curriculum, the characteristics and subjects taught, which encourages the possibility of using more diverse and complex assessment models, techniques, and instruments. However, in practice, only a few assessment models, techniques, and instruments are used, which certainly impacts the validity and reliability of the assessment results. This research is basically conducted to analyze the implementation of formative assessment in assessing speaking skills in lecture text learning. This is important to be done in order to understand the results and problems that arise during its implementation. The research method used in this study is qualitative, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation, with the research location being at Muhammadiyah 10 High School in Surabaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) permainan bahasa sindiran pada konten Somasi dalam Kanal Youtube Deddy Corbuzier, (2) makna gaya bahasa pada permainan bahsa dalam konten Somasi di kanal Youtube Deddy Corbuzier. Teori dalam penelitian ini, yakni permainan bahasa (Wibowo 2010) dan (Wijana 2004:3), gaya bahasa sindiran (Tarigan 2013) dan (Keraf 2010). Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Kanal Youtube Deddy Corbuzier. Data penelitian ini berupa kutipan kata-kata yang dapat dirumuskan sebagai permainan bahasa sindiran berdasarkan tuturan pada konten Somasi kanal YouTube Deddy Corbuzier. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) menonton video pada konten Somasi dalam kanal YouTube Deddy Corbuzier, (2) mendeskripsikan data, dan (3) mencatat data yang akan menjadi bahan penelitian ke dalam tabel. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) mengelompokan data ke dalam tabel analisis, (2) menentukann jenis permainan bahasa sindiran yang dituturkan, (3) menjelaskan makna permainan bahasa sindiran yang diungkapkan (4) menjabarkan hasil analisis, dan (5) menginterpretasikan hasil analisis dengan melihat kecendrungan pemakaian permainan bahasa, dan (6) menyimpulkan hasil analisis data secara keseluruhan. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, diperoleh hasil penelitian didapatkan penutur menggunaan permainan bahasa sindiran sebanyak 31 data. Permainan bahasa sindiran yang ditemukan yakni abreviasi, reduplikasi, antonimi, penyimpangan maksim kesopanan, dan penyimpangan maksim kerjasama. Permainan bahasa sindiran pada konten somasi dalam kanal YouTube Deddy Corbuzier yang dominan adalah sindiran. Permainan bahasa sindiran pada konten Somasidalam kanal YouTube Deddy Corbuzier menjadi media dalam menyapaikan keresahan dan kritikan namun disampaikan dengan cara lucu oleh komediansebagai penutur dalam kanal YouTube Deddy Corbuzier sehingga sindiran dan keresahan tersampaikan dengan baik tetapi tidak menyakiti hati orang yang yang disindir tersebut.

Abstract

This literary study aims to explore, classify, and describe the tendencies and characteristics of literary research in the thesis of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program at the Faculty of Education, University of Timor. The data source used is the thesis of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program from 2018—to March 2022. The data was obtained using data owned by the administration of this study program. The data collected will be studied using a qualitative descriptive method with a sociological approach to literature. This approach is not only used to examine literary works from the sociological aspect but can be used to examine the results of literary research which can then be formulated into a concept or characteristic that is unique and unique from the existing tendencies. The results and discussion show as follows. First, student literature research with the object of modern literary works tends to use poetry, short stories texts, short anthologies, films, and novels. Research with this object does not attract the attention of students so only a few examine it. Second, student literature research with oral objects and practices of local traditions dominates. Students tend to use mantras, legends, rituals, traditional stories, cultural symbols, cultural expressions, traditional houses, traditional animals, traditional woven fabrics, and folklore as data in their research. Third, students tend to use a structural or objective approach in their literary research, both in studying modern and oral literature or local traditional practices. The structural approach used tends to focus on separate intrinsic elements so that the resulting meaning is not totality. Fourth, student research with the object of teaching literature in schools still seems monotonous and boring, the media used is too old-school, and has not taken advantage of technological sophistication from 4.0 to 5.0.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the political function of magical poetics in the short story “Ular dan Amarah” by A.S. Laksana with the theory of magical realism, political function, and articulation. Methodologically, this research consists of poetic data and political data, which are collected, respectively, from short story texts and historical-political-social humanities texts. Both two is analyzed using coherent interpretation and relational analysis between literary work and politics. The are two main findings in this research. First, this short story fulfills the five elements of magical realism so it is a literary work in the magical realism genre. These elements constitute poetics which itself contains a political function. Based on reading the content, parsing discursive words, and the researcher’s knowledge, this short story refers to incidents of violence against ethnic Chinese in May 1998. Second, by making use of the magical, this short story articulates the view that China as a victim is a marginal group that has no power so it must be emphasized and strengthened. This is an effort not to forget this incident and continue to demand state responsibility. The author also criticized this magical thing that violence should not be responded to with violence as done by the character Seto in the short story. On the other hand, non-violent resistance is the “wise” path that must be taken considering that this short story appeared in 2017, dozens of years after the violent incident occurred, resulting in “retention”, which made the violent response change to “wise”.

Abstract

People's belief in forbidden myths and legendary myths is still believed today and is still passed down from generation to generation. This research aims to describe the form and function of the Selokajang legend myth for the people of Selokajang Village, Blitar Regency. This type of research is qualitative research that uses descriptive methods. The theory used in this research is the theory of the Endraswara form which includes the sirikan (ban) myth and the legendary myth. Kirk's theory of myth functions includes entertaining and explanatory functions. The results of this research show that the myths in Selokajang Village are generally sirikan (ban) myths which are related to the legend of Selokajang Village. The legend of Selokajang Village is also indirectly a mythical legend. This is because the mythical legend is a public belief in important events regarding the origins or history of the formation of Selokajang Village

Abstract

BIPA learning is growing rapidly, with many foreign speakers who have an interest in learning Indonesian. Innovation in BIPA learning is needed, and one of the innovations is utilising digital media in the form of applications and web that provide interesting features and can be utilised in learning. The Quizlet application is one of the digital media that can be used for learning because it has various features. This research aims to describe the use of Quizlet in BIPA learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. In this study, researchers used similar studies or studies that have a relationship with the use of Quizlet applications as BIPA learning media. The results of this study indicate that Quizlet has features that can be used as a BIPA learning medium for language skills. The features that can be used as a medium of learning include flashcards, learn, spell, write, test, and match. This study also shows that the Quizlet application can be used to support learners’ mastery of new vocabulary and terms.

Abstract

Dalam lingkup kajian sosiolinguistik, terdapat banyak sekali ragam kajiannya salah satunya adalah register bahasa. Secara singkat register bahasa adalah penggunaan bahasa dalam keadaan tertentu. Register bahasa ini terdapat di beberapa daerah, namun pada penelitian ini hanya berfokus di daerah Klaten & Banjarmasin. Pada di daerah Klaten akan berfokus pada bahasa jawa dan di daerah Banjarmasin menggunakan bahasa banjar. Register bahasa pada penelitian ini adalah ragam kata jatuh dalam dua bahasa tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah menemukan ragam kata jatuh dalam bahasa jawa dan bahasa banjar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat beberapa kata jatuh dalam bahasa jawa maupun bahasa banjar. Kata kunci: register bahasa, PUBG, budaya, sosiolinguistik

Abstract

This research aims to describe the values of character education contained in the short story Lentera Padam by Faisal Fajri. The research was designed with a qualitative approach. Data was collected using the reading and note-taking method and analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results of the research show that there are five values of character education including (1) religious, namely Tera's exemplary attitude which always prays for goodness from the Almighty (2) hard work, this is done by Tera who always works hard to earn a living to meet her living needs ( 3) affection, as brothers and sisters who have become alone. (4) creative, this character is played by Tera's sister. He has a younger sibling who is very creative (5) appreciates achievements, this behavior is carried out by Tera, he really appreciates his younger sibling's achievements. Tera tries to always attend every competition that her younger sibling participates in, she feels that she is a substitute mother figure for her little sibling.

Abstract

Poetry is a literary work by applying dialect rules and structured patterns to the point where it creates both a compound and a sound in each syllable order that creates a wonderful impression. The comparative use of makeup in this study is still expressive. Expressive is a comparative phrase for a poem to be more interesting and have a message implied by the author. This approach to the study of poetic analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis by taking a number of data comparison analyzes and thoughts from book analysis. The analysis of poetry covers the aspect of the sound play in the form of anaphora, kakofoni, euphoni, alliteration, and the style of comparative inanimate objects applied as if they were living. Personification majas describe the proper nature of human beings so characteristic of the poetry of panca indra by exposing the author's imagination. The study of Anthology of Suluk poetry to You Country contains the anxiety that is meant to bear the burden of death. The poem is unique to a more specific update in Islamic literature. The personification of the language style of poetry to your country is applied as the formulation of an object as if it were alive and given life as human nature as if it could speak, walk, speak with humanity

Abstract

Artikel ini menyoroti nilai-nilai moral dalam naskah sastra Jawa "Aja Dumeh Sugih Bondo" dengan pendekatan sosioetika. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral yang ada dalam naskah tersebut dan dampaknya pada perilaku, interaksi sosial, dan pola pikir masyarakat. Di samping itu, pesan moral tentang hubungan manusia dengan orang lain menekankan rukun dengan tetangga, tolong-menolong, dan berbakti pada orang tua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis tekstual terhadap naskah Aja Dumeh Sugih Bondo. Data diidentifikasi, diklasifikasikan, dan dianalisis untuk memahami pesan moral yang terkandung dalam teks. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam mengenai nilai-nilai moral dalam naskah sastra dan pengaruhnya terhadap masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Melalui pendekatan sosioetika hasil penelitian ini ditemukan tiga aspek nilai moral: hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, dan hubungan manusia dengan orang lain. Dalam konteks hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan terdapat hubungan spiritual, ketergantungan pada Tuhan, balasan atas perbuatan di dunia, dan makna kehidupan. Pesan moral dalam hubungan ini menggambarkan pentingnya berkomunikasi dengan Tuhan melalui doa, ketergantungan pada-Nya, serta balasan atas perbuatan baik dan buruk di dunia dan akhirat. Selain itu, naskah ini juga mengangkat nilai-nilai moral terkait hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, seperti pentingnya berbuat jujur, menepati janji, dan mengingatkan akan kehidupan di dunia yang sementara.
