To reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease that can be triggered by hypertension by preventing hypertension. The purpose of this study was to look at the factors associated with the prevention of hypertension. This study uses a quantitative method with a Cross Sectional approach. Statistical test using Chi Square test. Analysis Bivariate analysis was used to find out or see the relationship between the two variables. Chi Square statistical test was used with the largest error rate (level significance) / = 0.05 or 5% and a confidence level of 95%. With the provision that if the value of p > (p > 0.05), the decision is rejected. The hypothesis is rejected, meaning that there is no significant relationship between age, gender, education, knowledge, attitudes, the role of the mass media and the role of family and friends. If the value of p (p 0.05), then the decision of the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship on age, gender, education, knowledge, attitudes, the role of the mass media and the role of the family. UPTD Bumi Agung Public Health Center, Pagar Alam City in 2021. Suggestions for health centers are that the Puskesmas should optimize service programs related to elderly services such as the elderly posyandu. As for the next research should examine the incidence of hypertension with different research methods and designs.

Abstract

Physical activity is all body movements caused by skeletal muscles with the need for energy expenditure. Physical activity is divided into 3 categories. Light, moderate and heavy physical activity. Heavy physical activity will increase metabolic activity, the acid produced in the form of hydrogen ions and lactic acid will increase a lot, this will cause a decrease in pH and intravascular hemolysis. The affinity between oxygen and hemoglobin will decrease when the blood pH is low. Hemoglobin is a tetrameric protein of erythrocytes that binds to non-protein molecules, namely iron porphyrin compounds called heme. This study aims to determine the effect of light and heavy physical activity on hemoglobin levels in students of the Faculty of Science and Technology IKest Muhammadiyah Palembang. This type of research is carried out in the form of experiments which are analyzed descriptively quantitatively and presented in the form of simple tables and diagrams. The sample was examined using a Hematology Analyzer with the Alfa Swelab Plus brand, the Pothomertic method. The results showed that the average hemoglobin level for light physical activity was 15.01g/dL and heavy physical activity was 15.2 g/dL with the One Way Anova test, the value = 0.689. The conclusion of the study showed that there was no effect between light and heavy physical activity on hemoglobin levels in students of the Faculty of Science and Technology IKest Muhammadiyah Palembang.

Abstract

Tofu is a food source containing high vegetable protein. Tofu is in great demand by most of the Indonesian people because it contains high nutrition and the price is relatively cheap and affordable. To produce tofu requires good hygiene and sanitation, such as providing clean raw materials and water sources that are free from contamination. To determine whether the water source has been contaminated with microbes or not, the Coliform bacteria indicator in the water sample is used. In testing Coliform bacterial contamination in water or raw materials, the Most Probable Number (MPN) method is used to calculate the amount or level of microbial contamination in determining the quality or quality of water and raw materials by referring to the MPN table. This study aims to determine the level of Coliform bacteria contamination in tofu soaking water in a tofu factory in the Kalideres area of ??West Jakarta. The design of this research is a descriptive laboratory type which was carried out in March-June 2020 at the Indonesian Social Solidarity STIKes Laboratory. Based on the results of the research on the presumptive test, it was found that 1 positive tube was contaminated with Coliform in the KR tofu factory and 3 positive tubes at the DN factory. The presumptive test was continued to confirmatory test and found 5 positive tubes polluted at the DD factory, 2 positive tubes at the KR factory and 3 positive tubes at the DN factory. The positive tube from the confirmation test was calculated for the contamination index value (MPN) and obtained 21000 mpn/ml for the DD factory, 4000 mpn/ml for the KR factory and 9000 mpn/ml for the DN factory. It can be concluded that there is Coliform bacterial contamination in all tofu soaking water samples in 3 tofu factories with the MPN index value having passed the contamination threshold.

Abstract

Menstrual pain management measures or non-pharmacological therapy are alternative interventions or combinations in reducing the intensity of menstrual pain. Non-pharmacological therapy is a cheap, simple and safe therapy that uses physiological processes, one of which is massage effleurage and acupressure. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of effleurage massage and Sanyinjiao point acupressure on the intensity of menstrual pain. The research design method used was a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test two design. The sample used was 68 female students who experienced menstrual pain in both groups. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon signed rank test and the Mann-Whitney test. In the Wilcoxon marked ranking test, the study of the effleurage massage group showed a p value = 0.000, then there was an effect after doing the effleurage massage, and the acupressure group showed a p value = 0.000, so there was an effect after applying acupressure on the menstrual pain scale. In conclusion, non-pharmacological therapy, massage effleurage and acupressure are effective in reducing the intensity of menstrual pain in female students. In the Mann-Whitney test, there are differences in the effect of effleurage massage and acupressure in overcoming menstrual pain, and the difference in the intensity of menstrual pain from the effect of effleurage massage is 44.09 greater than acupressure 24.91, p = 0.000. Acupressure is more effective than massage effleurage in dealing with menstrual pain, because acupressure therapy with a focus on the sanyinjiao point can increase endorphins levels and relieve pain more quickly.
