Journal of Indonesian Tourism, Hospitality, and Recreation (Jurnal Pariwisata, Perhotelan dan Rekreasi Indonesia) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan dua keluaran (issues) dalam setahun pada bulan April dan Oktober. Redaksi juga turut mengundang para peneliti dan praktisi untuk dapat mengirimkan artikel berupa laporan hasil penelitian, pemikiran-pemikiran, maupun tulisan akademik, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan kepariwisataan, perhotelan dan rekreasi luar ruang. Perlu dipahami sebelumnya, artikel yang hendak dikirimkan merupakan artikel yang belum pernah dimuat atau dipublikasikan di jurnal berkala ilmiah lainnya.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe increasing need for tourism amidst limited wiggle room during the COVID-19 pandemic makes tourists look for alternative tourism. One of them is by trying adventure tourism in the form of trekking. Trekking is a sports activity with sports characteristics that physically leads to a healthy lifestyle while having an element of travel. But there are still many people who don’t know not even understand the information about trekking tourism. The purpose of this research is to see an overview of the level of knowledge of generation Y people regarding trekking tourism. The selection of generation Y people as respondents in this study is because generation Y society has more experience, high understanding and mastering digitalization. This research is a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques using questionnaire with 200 respondents, then the data was analyzed with univariate analysis using Guttman Scale. The results showed that the general description of knowledge about trekking tourism showed a high level of knowledge, which is 80.1% from 100%, while the specifically description of knowledge about trekking tourism showed a relatively less level of knowledge, which is 73.63% from 100%. In general, the average percentage of both shows a high level of knowledge of respondents in understanding the description of trekking tourism which is 76.87% from 100%.Keywords : Trekking; Adventure tourism; Sports tourism; Generation Y. ABSTRAKMeningkatnya kebutuhan pariwisata di tengah terbatasnya ruang gerak selama pandemi COVID-19 membuat wisatawan mencari alternatif wisata. Salah satunya dengan mencoba wisata petualangan berupa trekking. Trekking merupakan suatu kegiatan olahraga dengan karakteristik sportif yang secara fisik mengarah pada gaya hidup sehat sekaligus memiliki unsur berwisata. Namun masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengenal bahkan tidak memahami informasi mengenai wisata trekking. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat generasi Y mengenai wisata trekking. Dipilihnya masyarakat kategori generasi Y sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini dikarenakan masyarakat generasi Y memiliki lebih banyak pengalaman, pemahaman tinggi dan menguasai digitalisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan 200 responden, kemudian data dianalisis dengan analisis univariat menggunakan Skala Guttman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran tingkat pengetahuan secara umum mengenai wisata trekking menunjukkan tingkatan pengetahuan yang tinggi, yaitu sebesar 80,1% dari 100%, sedangkan gambaran tingkat pengetahuan secara khusus mengenai wisata trekking menunjukkan tingkatan pengetahuan yang masih relatif kurang, yaitu sebesar 73,63% dari 100%. Secara garis besar rata-rata dari persentase keduanya menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan responden yang cukup tinggi dalam memahami gambaran wisata trekking yaitu 76,87% dari 100%.Kata Kunci : Trekking; Wisata petualangan; Wisata olahraga; Generasi Y.

Abstract

The organization of tourism education is now important for the administration of gastronomic tourism. Vocational High Schools in the field of food expertise have a significant role in the development and promotion of gastronomic tourism in Bandung. Bandung has various types of food and drinks. At present, there is no mapping of gastronomic education in Bandung. The purpose of this research is to monitor the gastronomic mapping through the role of providing education namely the Vocational High School, diploma, and bachelor’s degree in the promotion and promotion of gastronomic tourism in Bandung. The research method used through the qualitative collection with secondary data collection techniques in the form of documentary evidence. The analytical method uses content analysis and descriptive. The results showed that gastronomy education was classified into three levels, namely vocational high school, diploma, and bachelor's degree. This study also maps the distribution of gastronomic education through the role of tourism education to promote gastronomy in Bandung

Abstract

ABSTRAKGeographic Information Systems(GIS) merupakan sebuah sistem informasi yang mengolah data spasial dari letak administratif suatu wilayah untuk disimpan, divisualisasikan, dan dianalisis. Penggunaan GIS pada kepariwisataan bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan sumber daya pariwisata dalam satu platform sehingga dapat membuka peluang besar untuk pemerataan sebaran wisata sekaligus meningkatkan pendapatan daerah melalui kunjungan wisatawan. Penelitian ini memvisualisasikan perilaku spasial wisatawan Bandung Raya yang meliputi sebaran kunjungan, length of stay, dan expenditure. Melalui pendekatan metode deskriptif, distribusi frekuensi dari 476 sampel wisatawan dihitung distribusi melalui SPSS serta pembuatan visualisasi berupa peta sebaran menggunakan ArcGIS. Dengan adanya visualisasi perilaku spasial wisatawan tersebut, hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu tourism stakeholder dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan kepariwisataan di Bandung Raya. The use of GIS in tourism aims to integrate tourism resources in one platform so that it can open up great opportunities for equitable distribution of tourism while increasing regional income through tourist visits. This study visualizes the spatial behavior of Bandung Raya tourists which includes the distribution of visits, length of stay, and expenditure. Using a descriptive method approach, the frequency distribution of the 476 tourist samples is calculated through SPSS distribution and visualization in the form of a distribution map using ArcGIS. Abstract

Tourism plays a significant role in the economic development of Indonesia. Aside from being a source of revenue, tourism creates employment opportunities and promotes the hospitality industry. However, the emergence of COVID-19 has adversely implicated on tourism in Indonesia, as international travel restrictions have been imposed by many countries. This paper dialectically analysed the impact of COVID-19 on the Indonesian tourism industry. It was observed that labour and the earnings in the tourism were severely affected by COVID-19. This was because the number of foreign tourists that visited Indonesia declined significantly as countries partially shut down their economy and imposed travel restrictions. The paper reviewed the government of Indonesia’s regulations and programmes and the tourism sector’s actions to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the country’s economy. It argued that government should introduce structures and guidelines for the introduction of smart tourism through non-contact, smart and personalised travel in Indonesia. Keywords [COVID-19, Indonesia, Tourism, Presidential Regulations, Travel restriction, Economic shutdown]

Abstract

There are lots of efforts require in maintaining the sustainability of the tourism business, including promoting and marketing tourism destinations world widely. One of the alternatives recently used by the tourism industry around the world in promoting and marketing the places is through film tourism. In Indonesia, the film of Laskar Pelangi sparked the tourism industry in Indonesia. However, research on motivational factors of film-induced tourism in Indonesian film is limited. Thus, the study aims to identify the motivational factors that influence Malaysian youth to visit Indonesia after watching Indonesian films. To achieve the aim, the push and pull factors of film-induced tourism for Indonesian film have been investigated. This study using quantitative method for collecting the data and the questionnaires have been distributed to Malaysian youth who had watched Indonesian films as the target respondents. A total of 117 respondents were influenced to visit Indonesia after watching Indonesian films have participated in this research. This results show that novelty, entertainment and film location influenced Malaysian youth to visit Indonesia. The study suggests exploring other factors, such as accessibility, which could influence Malaysian youth to visit film location. Thus, this study provides a clear insight to research academic on motivational factors from Indonesian films that influence Malaysian youth to visit Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRAKSetelah adanya wabah covid-19, membangun pariwisata di suatu daerah sangat penting dilakukan. Hal tersebut tak lain agar perekonomian daerah tersebut segera pulih kembali. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah merumuskan sebuah strategi pada pengembangan yang dimiliki oleh objek wisata air terjun putuk truno selama masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualtatif secara deskriptif dengan analisis QSPM. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh sebanyak sebelas strategi alternatif. Dari sebelas strategi tersebut terdapat tiga strategi utama untuk diprioritaskan yaitu:  (1) merawat akses jalan, fasilitas dan sarana prasarana untuk menjaga kenyamanan berwisata, (2) memperbaiki fasilitas sarana  yang tersedia, (3) mengembangkan konsep wisata dengan menjunjung nilai keunikan daya tarik serta mengedepankan unsur kearifan lokal dan perlindungan terhadap lingkungan.Kata Kunci : Pariwisata, Strategi Pengembangan  PUTUK TRUNO WATERFALL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN PASURUAN REGENCY ERA OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC USING QUANTITATIVE STRATEGIC PLANNING MATRIX (QSPM) METHOD ABSTRACTAfter the Covid-19 outbreak, building tourism in an area is very important. This is to ensure that the regional economy recovers quickly. The aim of this study is to identifies strategy in order to develop the Putuk Truno Waterfall attraction during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative with QSPM analysis. The results obtained as many as eleven alternative strategies. Of the eleven strategies, there are three main strategies to prioritize, namely: (1) maintaining road access, facilities and infrastructure to maintain travel comfort, (2) improving available facilities facilities, (3) developing the concept of tourism by upholding the value of unique attractions and prioritizing elements of local wisdom and protection of the environment.Keywords: Development Strategy,Tourism

Abstract

ABSTRAKSesuai dengan arahan pemerintah pusat, dengan diberlakukannya kebijakan new normal diharapkan dapat mengembalikan jalannya roda perekonomian seperti produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi masyarakat di Kota Malang. Tak terkecuali pada sektor pariwisata yang sangat mengandalkan pengunjung dari manca Negara, luar daerah dan juga domestik. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk berusaha memahami seberapa besar minat masyarakat dan variabel apa saja yang berpengaruh dalam berwisata pada kondisi new normal. Terdapat empat variabel yang akan diteliti, yaitu pendapatan, usia, protokol kesehatan, dan pengeluaran untuk berwisata. Data dikumpulkan dari responden dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah non-probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi new normal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat masyarakat dalam berwisata pada variabel usia sebesar 0,023 dan pengeluaran untuk berwisata sebesar 0,047, sedangkan pada variabel pendapatan dan protokol kesehatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Kata kunci: Kota Malang, New Normal, Minat Berwisata  ABSTRACTBy the direction of the central government, the enactment of the new normal policy is expected to restore the wheels of the economy such as production, distribution, and consumption of people in Malang. No exception in the tourism sector that relies heavily on visitors from foreign countries, outside the region, and also domestically. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to try to understand how much public interest and what variables affect traveling in new normal conditions. Four variables will be studied, namely income, age, health protocols, and expenses for travel. The data was collected from respondents using questionnaires, and the sampling technique used by the authors was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling type. The number of respondents in this study was 38. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the new normal condition significantly affects people's interest in traveling at the age variable of 0.023 and spending on travel by 0.047, while on variable income and health protocols do not have a significant effect.Keywords: Malang City, New Normal, Travel Interests

Abstract

Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang termasuk ke dalam Kawasan Pariwisata Pendidikan Jatinangor. Di mana kampus tersebut pernah meraih penghargaan Green Campus pada perhelatan Indonesia Green Awards 2014, karena konsep tata ruang konservasi sumber daya air dan pengelolaan sampah. Sebagai upaya untuk menerapkan pembangunan kampus hijau dan kawasan pariwisata pendidikan, dibutuhkan rencana pengembangan yang komprehensif sesuai dengan potensi dan kebijakan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun program tur kampus dengan konsep wisata edukasi berbasis lingkungan dalam menunjang keberlanjutan UNPAD sebagai kampus ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara mendalam terhadap informan yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan kampus ramah lingkungan di UNPAD. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder menggunakan studi literatur terkait penelitian terdahulu dan dokumen kebijakan terkait. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi daya tarik wisata edukasi yang menunjang pengelolaan UNPAD sebagai kampus ramah lingkungan salah satunya yaitu adalah area kantor pengelolaan sampah terpadu UNPAD yang bisa dikemas dengan metode guided tour. Perlu adanya kolaborasi antar sivitas akademika dan masyarakat setempat untuk skema rencana pengelolaanya.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 outbreak has paralyzed the hospitality industry globally. In Bengkulu, the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on hotel business continuity in line with the government's directive to stay at home. This study examines the opportunities for business hotel business continuity by implementing new protocol standards during the pandemic crisis for hotel businesses in Bengkulu City. This study uses a case study with a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with managerial positions, literature studies, and government regulations. This study shows that there are new opportunities and expectations of hoteliers with the implementation of the standard protocol of government regulations to wear a mask, wash your hands with soap, and keep a distance to continue business operations. This study will share the experience directly facing the business hotel business operators to maintain business operations in the city of Bengkulu.Keywords : COVID-19; Hospitality Industry; Business Operation; Business Sustainability. ABSTRAKWabah COVID-19 telah melumpuhkan industri perhotelan secara global. Di Bengkulu, wabah COVID-19 berdampak pada terancamnya keberlangsungan usaha hotel seiring dengan arahan pemerintah untuk beraktivitas dirumah saja. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang peluang keberlangsungan usaha hotel bisnis dengan menerapkan standar protokol baru selama krisis pandemi bagi bisnis hotel di Kota Bengkulu. Studi ini menggunakan metode qualitative dengan menggunakan studi melalui observasi secara langsung dengan mewawancarai posisi manajerial, studi literatur, dan peraturan pemerintah kota Bengkulu yang diterapkan. Kajian ini menunjukkan terdapat peluang baru dan harapan pelaku bisnis  hotel dengan penerapan new-normal pada penerapan standar protokol dari peraturan pemerintah untuk menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan dengan sabun, serta menjaga jarak selama melanjutkan operasi bisnis. Studi ini berbagi pembelajaran langsung yang dihadapi pihak pelaku usaha hotel bisnis untuk mempertahankan operasi bisnis di kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci : COVID-19; Industri Perhotelan; Operasional bisnis; Keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKabupaten Garut merupakan wilayah di Jawa Barat yang memiliki banyak potensi wisata alam. Salah satu wisata alam yang ada di Kabupaten Garut adalah Talaga Bodas. Permasalahan yang muncul di kawasan Talaga Bodas masih belum dikenal secara luas oleh wisatawan dikarenakan diseminasi informasi yang masih minim dilakukan. Diseminasi informasi berperan penting dalam mempromosikan kawasan pariwisata Talaga Bodas agar dapat lebih dikenal oleh wisatawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merancang bangun model diseminasi informasi Talaga Bodas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan action research berdasarkan model Kurt Lewin terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara, observasi dan tindakan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melalui 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 2 siklus yang dilakukan menghasilkan media diseminasi dalam bentuk booklet khusus Talaga Bodas yang tersedia secara cetak dan online pada link berikut bit.ly/BookletTalagaBodas dan leaflet yang dirancang dalam bentuk pengembangan dari leaflet yang telah tersedia. Model diseminasi ini dapat menjadi salah satu cara mempromosikan kawasan pariwisata Talaga Bodas. Kata Kunci : model diseminasi informasi, kawasan wisata, promosi wisata, komunikasi. ABSTRACTGarut Regency is an area in West Java that has a lot of natural tourism potential. One of the natural attractions in Garut Regency is Talaga Bodas. The problems that arise in the Talaga Bodas area are still not widely known by tourists due to the lack of information dissemination. Information dissemination plays an important role in promoting the Talaga Bodas tourism area so that it can be better known by tourists. The purpose of this research is to design a model for the information dissemination of Talaga Bodas. The research method used is a qualitative method with an approach action research based on Kurt Lewin's model consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Research data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation action. This research was conducted through 2 cycles. The results showed that the 2 cycles carried out resulted in dissemination media in the form of a booklet special Talaga Bodaswhich was available both in print and online at the following link bit.ly/BookletTalagaBodas and leaflets designed in the form of a development from existing leaflets .
