MANAGERIA: Jurnal manajemen Pendidikan Islam is a peer-reviewed scientific periodical journal published by the Department of Islamic Education Management the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This journal is dedicated to publish scientific articles in the study of Islamic Education management from different aspects and perspectives. This study aims to investigate the financial management and strategies deployed by Rumah Pintar (Rumpin) BAZNAS Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta to improve the quality of education. Employing a qualitative approach, the data of this research is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data display and data verification. The results show that financial resources of Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan are obtained from zakat through BAZNAS Center and through the allocation of costs in Rumpin that has increased from year to year. The improved allocation of costs were caused by the increasing need for services requested by the service recipients (mustahik). The result of the cost improvement is the increasing quality of education and  services. It can be seen from the achievements obtained by Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan which won number of awards such as the Best Rumpin in center development under the category of Non-Departmental body;  received award of pustaka bakti tama penggerak buku (books reader movement for literary devotion) and several training certificates that can be used to find a job.

This study focused on examining the theory of optimalization of class intervention management toward students’ bad behavior in Islamic primary school. The method used in this study was literature study based on documents. The results showed that the optimalization of classroom management involved the whole components including school and parents as moral community whose responsibility and role were preventing and overcoming students’ bad behavior by being a good role model. Optimizing the collaboration among parents enables integrated communication with education at school to avoid the continuity of behavior. Increasing positive activities aimed to overcome disruption in the classroom can be done through behaviorism approach and integrated learning. Teachers’ readiness in mastering intervention management is crucial as it is necessary for dealing with students’ behavior in a precise way. The research is conducted at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of DKI Jakarta III to obtain information on the effect of training, quality assurance, pedagogic competence, and self-efficacy towards lecturers’ job effectiveness. The research used 60 out of 145 lecturers as the population selected using simple random sampling. The research is conducted by using a method of causal with path analysis. The result of the research showed that: (1). there is a direct positive effect of training on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (2) there is a direct effect quality assurance on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (3) there is a direct effect of pedagogic competence on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (4) there is a direct effect of self-efficacy on lecturers’ job effectiveness. Therefore, job effectiveness of Health Polytechnic lecturers of the Ministry of Health Jakarta III can be enhanced by carrying out training, quality assurance, pedagogic competence, and self-efficacy.

The importance of character education is a wisdom of value diversity and social live culture. To achive the goal, the education system in school has developed three sub systems,namely, administration, instruction, and pupil/ student personal service. Guidance andcounseling program is from pupil/ student personal service. Strengthening charactereducation can be realized through the management of Islamic guidance and counseling.According to management concept, implementation of guidance and counselingmanagement isone of the manivestation of systematic program on how to plan guidanceand counseling activity, how to lead human resource in the organization in order toachieve the goal, how to control the activity of guidance and counseling, andhow toevaluate it. Therefore, the management of Islamic guidance and counselingcan achievethe education goal exspecially in strengthening education character.

This study aims to describe the management of two types of archive, dynamic and static, in the Library and Archives Office of Magelang, Central Java. This is a case study with a qualitative approach. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model techniques by Miles and Huberman. The research found that: (1) management of the records consists of dynamic and static archives; (2) the archival storage is carried out independently and used classification system of problems; (3) the management of active dynamic archives consists of receiving of records, indexing, appointing, dispositioning, follow-up, and filing; (4) the management of inactive dynamic archives consist of selection, description, grouping, determination of schedule for archival retention, structuring, pengkamperisasian, and filing; (5) the management of static archives consist of planning, source identification, archival information maneuvering and definitive numbering, arrangement for storage (compiling inventory, labeling, validating inventory lists and binding inventory lists). This research discusses bureaucracy and organizational behaviour and culture in Islamic education institute i.e., Roudlotul Athfal UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research aims to study the implementation of institutional bureaucracy and to build organisational behaviour and culture. This is a qualitative research applying three methods of data collection, namely: (1) observation, (2) in-depth interview, (3) emphasizing the value of dialogue (small colloquium, discussion or sharing), (2) Integrating Islamic values to build organizational behaviour such as honesty, discipline and mutual respect. (3) Cultural acculturation as part of the organizational cultural identity, such as maintaining the grassroots culture including how to behave, how to communicate in certain language and other social interactions. These aspects turn into the basic values of institutional bureaucracy in facing various challenges, social changes as well as competition among numerous Islamic educational institutions.   Keywords: Bureaucracy, Behavior, Culture of Organization, Islamic Education Institution

This research focuses on the process of strategic planning completion of the Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran establishment in Bandung Regency. This research uses Kurt Lewin model of action research method which consists of planning, acting and fact finding on the result of the action. The results of this study indicate that there are several efforts to meet the conditions that have been determined by the Minister of Religious Regulation 71/2015 on the establishment of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran. The contributing factors of the succesful strategic planning are the results of the present and expected future conditions analysis, the results of Ma'had Aly SWOT analysis, the Master Plan Development Document (RIP)of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran, Strategic Plan Cycles and Strategic Plan Matrix of the Ma'had Aly performance. These constitute as the guidelines for the realization of the ideal establishment of Ma'had Aly which is in accordance with the Guide of Establishment of Ma'had Aly as stated on the operational guidelines of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Management is one of the most important aspects of managing an institution / agency especially in educational institutions, so expect especially Islamic education institutions and boarding schools because it can not be separated when talking about Islamic education definitely a benchmark of all it is a boarding school education, history has proven that the embryo of formal education is education schools starting from the household, surau, mosques and public places, The new Islam began to grow rapidly after education was started in utakan even serve as doktrinisasi process. Inspirational relentless, berkaryapun always sure, Batsul masa'il, sorogan, mukhadloroh as the hallmark of learning as well as the evaluation process, so as to give birth to a reliable generations who are ready to solve all the problems that occur at this time. This research began from the writer’s interest on the distinctive characteristic of early childhood education at PAUD Ceria. It is interesting because regardless the academic qualifications of its’ teachers, students demonstrate good academic performance, as well as parents and community’s support for the existence of this PAUD. This research aims at analyzing the patterns in early childhood education management especially that of planning,organizing, actuating, and controlling, and to examine community’s shifting paradigm about childhood education. This is a qualitative research that was undertaken in PAUD Ceria, Gondangsari, Sumawono, Central Java. The data gathered through observation, interview and documentation. This research shows that: 1). PAUD Ceria uses POAC management pattern in every activities, such as planning at the beginning, building communication and cooperation with stakeholders in organizing phase, while integrating religious education materials within actuating process. Whereas, controlling process is conducted everyday. 2). Supporting factors in the management of early childhood education are: students motivation, cooperation between teachers, community support, open comunication between teachers and parents, and cooperation with government. Finally 3). The result of management pattern at PAUD Ceria such as studet achievements in many championships, the increment of students enrollment each year, and change communnity’s paradigm on the importance of early childhood education.
