Abstract

This research based development and progress educational world wanted increase power creativeness and innovation from educators today. Visualize of educator’s credibility competence not only seen from the speed finish lessons. But, which the process optimize management of facilities and infrastructures, so as create learning resources by environment of school. The research is the qualitative study by taking background in MIN Jejeran Bantul Yogyakarta. The research results show that management of facilities and infrastructures includes activities of planning, pengiventarisan, the use of, maintenance, the removal of, and accountability also improve educator’s creativeness and enrich scientific who can be integrated to learning would also take morality school tuition to better understand in concrete terms and protecting the environment around.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efforts of the head of Madrasah in developing organizational culture and teacher’s performance in learning process. This is a qualitative research, with observation, interview and documentation as the data collection tehniques. The research is conducted at MIN 5 Majalengka regency, as many as 5 (five) respondent are interviewed during the research. The research finds that (1) the organizational culture at MIN 5 Majalengka regency appears in some school activities, brotherhood atmosphere, and good examples performed by the head of madrasah; (2) The efforts of the head of madrasah to develop  school’s organizational culture done in two ways through the head of madrasah’s role and responsibility as the leader of the school and through students’ self development activities; (3) The techniques employed by the head of madrasah to develop teacher’s performance are through class visit, personal meeting, teacher meeting, work-group discussion, teacher training and guidance.

Abstract

Individual performance in the organization is influenced by many factors, such as work satisfaction and culture within the organization. Besides that, work satisfactionhave a positif correlation with individual performance. The more satisfy a worker withhis/her work, the bettter his/her individual performance that make them to be moreproductive. Organizational culture influence which strategy that will be implementedby an organization to respond to the changes within or outside the organization. Themore capability of an organization to respond to changes, the better the organizationitself.

Abstract

This research is a follow-up study from previous research on strategic planning to establish Ma’had Aly Pondok Quran in Bandung. This research focused on the curriculum and facilities in Ma’had Aly Pondok Quran in Bandung. Using descriptive qualitative field research, the data is collected through documentation, observation, and interviews. The data is analyzed utilizing strategic factors analysis summary. The subject of the research is the head of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran, the Muhafizh, the person in charge of the development of human resources and infrastructure of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran, also twenty Ma’had Aly students. The results showed that the standard content of the material in Ma'had Aly curriculum still needed to be added and adjusted to support the legality of Ma'had Aly. The material that needs to be added in Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran is Manhaj Da'wah, Tafsir, Ulumul Qur'an and its branches of knowledge, Tauhid, Worship Fiqh, Computers, English, and Research Methodology. Whereas the infrastructure facilities of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran which are the priority in development are pesantren dormitories for man and classes to support learning. Abstract

Training in the workplace (DDTK) on job Analysis is a policy that must be undertaken by government apparatus; either they are positioned in central or regional level. DDTK on Job Analysis is increasingly required especially after the performance benefits were being paid to the employees within the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The benefit necessitates employees to describe their work targets which will be used as the determinant for their position/level.  DDTK on Job Analysis in the Ministry of Religious Affairs at Magelang Regency has given positive values for the employees towards the understanding of the Job Analysis considering that, before the training, there were lots of employees who did not comprehend the concept. This was evidenced by the result of the pre-test conducted in advance to the training. Organizing DDTK on Job Analysis has provided real contribution among the employees of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at Magelang Regency in terms of their understanding on Job Analysis as well as their improved competence in arranging the Job Analysis. Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive field research which examines the Principal’s Strategic Management Based on SWOT Analysis at the Islamic Junior High School ‘Ishlahul Muslimin’ in Senteluk, West Lombok. Data is collected through through observations, interviews, and documentation which is then analysed through data reduction, data display, and verification. The reseach subjects are the chairman of the school committee, the headmaster, the vice principals (curriculu affai; student affairs; public relations, facilities and infrastructure affairs) and teachers. This research aims to (1) describe the procedure of the MTs Ishlahul Muslimin’s Principal’s Strategic Management, (2) identify the implementation of SWOT analysis at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Lombok Barat, and (3) identify the internal and external factors related to MTs Ishlahul Muslimin’s program implementation. The results of this study indicate that : (a) the principal’s Strategic Management is considered to be innovative and flexible, (b) the implementation of SWOT analysis at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Lombok Barat has three phases: strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation, and (c) the internal factors related to the program implementation at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin are learner analysis, educators analysis and curriculum analysis. The external factors include the analysis of the social environment of the community and the analysis of the role of government.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer dalam implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah (MBS) dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi MBS di MIN Jejeran Bantul Yogyakarta. Penelitian   ini   dilaksanakan   dalam   bentuk   penelitian   lapangan   (field research) yang termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan   metode interview, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dan dideskripsikan dalam bentuk narasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen berbasis madrasah menuntut kepala madsarah untuk dapat menjalankan perannya sebagai manajer dalam  meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan eksistensi madrasah. Kepala madrasah sebagai manajer dapat melakukan proses manajerialnya dengan memberdayakan guru berserta staf sesuai dengan kapasitas dan tugasnya, kemudian kepala madrasah juga melibatkan seluruh stakeholder untuk menunjang progam madrasah, kepala madrasah menjadi teladan, memberikan evaluasi dan pengarahan serta bertanggung jawab dan mempertanggung jawabkan kebijakannya. Abstract

Saat nama ‘Islam’ ditempelkan pada ‘Manajemen Pendidikan’ dan menjadi ‘Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI)’, timbul pertanyaan, apakah ia sudah layak disebut ilmu? Jika sudah, muncul pertanyaan, apa yang menjamin bahwa ia benar-benar telah merepresentasikan sebuah ilmu? Artikel ini bermaksud membuktikan bahwa MPI bisa menjadi sebuah ilmu dan memiliki paradigma keilmuannya sendiri. Untuk membahasnya, digunakan filsafat manajemen aliran realisme kritis (Stephen Ackroyd, 2010) dan sejumlah isu epistemologis praktik organisasi (Frits Schipper, 2010) yang kemudian diretas ke dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa objek formal MPI itu adalah ilmu manajemen (the Science of management) sedangkan objek materialnya adalah pengelolaan kegiatan pendidikan di pelbagai lembaga pendidikan Islam (madrasah, pesantren dan sekolah Islam). Riset MPI pun fokus pada fakta, konteks, peristiwa dan kasus-kasus yang terjadi di lembaga tersebut, bukan sebatas menempelkan ayat-ayat suci ke dalam teori manajemen pendidikan yang ada, agar nampak Islami. Kitab suci pun pada dasarnya kontekstual (al tafsīr as siyāqi) dan berbasis kepada fakta lapangan (asbāb an nuzūl).

Abstract

Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang is is known as a succesfull campusin running foreign languages learning, especially Arabic. This research aimed tocompare the management of Arabic language learningin UIN Maliki and UIN SunanKalijaga to generate some feed backs in improving the quality of language learningas wellas an effort towards world class university. The result of research showed theadvantages of each university in running arabic learning. UIN Maliki Malang focuses onoptimizing arabic learning in dormitory (ma’had) with a variety of language activities,while UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta focuses on integrating scientific material andarabic language.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the roles and ways undertaken by schools in inculcating the character of entrepreneurial-based tauhid in order to be able to help learners gain knowledge about entrepreneurship from early childhood as well as help to build quality of Islamic School with high trust and quality. This research is a qualitative research conducted at Entrepreneur Elementary School Muslim ALIF-A Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta. The data is collected using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are: firstly, the role of schools in the formation of students’ entrepreneurial skills  is demonstrated by activities in schools to acquire knowledge and skills by assisting learners in shaping character and personality, and be able to interact with their environments through integrated thematic learning. Learners have to be active, and are encouraged to recognize and accept the values of entrepreneurship in developing the ability of learners to perform daily activities. Secondly, in the formation of entrepreneurial character, the school has six basic principles, they are: educative, effective, strategic, empirical, leadership, and productive through three learning zones, namely spiritual zone, learning zone, and entrepreneur zone based on the character of each program. Thirdly, the results of the system can be seen from the students’ attitude of independent, tawakkal, creative, innovative, confident, discipline, have a sense of responsibility and tolerate others.
