Abstract

KH Wahid Hasyim is a figure of clergy and statesman who is undoubtedly his service to the state. As a cleric, he is son of KH Hasyim Asy’ari, the founder of Nahdatul Ulama, the largest Islamic organization in Indonesa. As a statesman, he served as a minister of  religion. His work in the academic world and his struggle and educating the people is well known and made an impression. In outlining the policy in the world of education, certainly not apart from the Islamic backround and statesmanship he has. This make his thinking to be balanced between the inner and outer dimensions, between traditionality and modernity. This paper attemps to decipher Wahid Hasyim’s biography and the examines his thoughts in education as well as his relation to education in the modern world. The significance of this paper is as a literature for the biography of Wahid Hasyim and the relevance of his thought to education from time to time.Keyword: Wahid Hasyim, education, modern

Abstract

This study examines the Implementation of Forms of Religious Guidance and Mental Development for Rehabilitation of Narcotics Victims in Narcotics Class II A Yogyakarta. The problems studied relate to rehabilitation of juvenile drug abuse at IIA Yogyakarta, forms of implementation of forms of religious guidance and mental guidance for adolescent victims of narcotics in the Class IIA Narcotics Prison Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research using observation method, in-depth interview, documentation and data analysis.The results of this study is the method of implementation of forms of religious guidance and mental coaching is able to prevent resdivis back in the Class IIA Narcotics Prison Yogyakarta. Coaching mental personality through Therapeutic community method and Auto suggestion able to cultivate mental and confidence in community development community, eliminating the feeling of lack of confidence and add optimistic support of community development community in living life outside social institution. Development of independence that matches the interests and talents of teenagers in the Class IIA Narcotics Center Yogyakarta is able to explore the potential talents of prisoners so that after out of prison, inmates can self-employed. Keywords: Implementation Religious form, mentoring and self-help.

Abstract

The human as human being should experience the development every time, including on the basic age of child (7-13 years old). One of important aspects of  human development is cognitive aspect. Cognitive development is an comprehensive development relating with thinking ability, such as the ability of thingking, reasoning, expressing idea, imagination and creativity. According to Piaget’s theory, the cognitive development of basic age child consists of two phases: the first is concrete operational phase (7-11 years old) that is a phase where the child has been able to function his/her mind to think logical, rational and objective, but it is just limited on the object concrete.  The second is formal operational phase (11-12 more years old) that is a phase where the child has used his/her mind to think a matter which will be or ought to be happening (hyphotheses) and a abstract matter. In spite of the same phase, cognitive development of child has difference in every age level that it is very significant to be known especially in education scope in teaching and learning process. Referred to new version of Talksonomi Bloom Theory, the child who is 7 years old has been at C1, C2 and C3 level but it is still limited, age 8 years is C2 and C3 level; age 9 years is C3 level which is high level; age 10 years is C3, C4 and C5 level which is limited, age 11 years is C4, C5 and C5 level; and 12 years more is C6 level which is better. The significance of comprehension about the cognitive ability level of child becomes reference to choose material lesson, to determine strategy, model and learning method. The purpose is to able to create effective learning and to be able to comprehend the material maximally which it is hopefully compatible with the belonging of child’s cognitive ability. Keyword : Cognitive Development, Basic Age Child, Teaching and Learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the method of giving the task (recitation) can improve the independence of learning in the class X IIK MAN WATES.The subject of this study is students of MAN Wates I Kulon Progo  class X IIK as many as 30 students.  The data is obtained by using observation sheets and independence test scale, the data analysis using quantitative and qualitative. From the analysis is found that giving task (recitation) method can improve the independence of learning. There is a significant increase between cycle I and cycle II. The average score of self-learning test in the first cycle of 7.4 and on the second cycle test of 7.9, the student activity in doing the Prakarya Dan Kewirausahaan is also increase ,  71,4% in cycle I and 80,7% in cycle II.Keywords: Method of Recitation, Learning Independence

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the source of teaching and learning materials of moral in the formation of morals daily santri, explain the implementation of moral education, and want to know the supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of moral education in the formation of the morals daily santri. With that goal, got point point about moral character formation in moral education, among which is the source of moral education in the discourse of moral students taken from some classic books, namely Taisirul Kholak, Taklim Muta'alim, Akhlak Lilbanin 4 Juz, Bidayatul Bidayah and some other books of morality tasawuf. Learning materials related to morphology are taken from Taisirul Kholak, Bidayatul Hidayah and Akhlak Lilbanin. Related to the little wash of material taken from Taisir, Bidayah and some related Fiqh books to wash, as well as so on until morals towards the environment. Some methods are quite effective in the moral education of santri in moral education is through habituation, exemplary, discipline, and sometimes reward and punishment. Factors supporting the formation of santri morality is a religious learning activity, adequate facilities, the spirit of ustad / ustadzah and santri, comfortable environment and away from the crowd, there are disciplines that must be obeyed santri. Apart from the supporting factors there are inhibiting factors, namely the presence of violations of students and the infl uence of outside the cottage.Keyword: the consept of moral education, method,  resources and teaching materials, theformation of santri morality

Abstract

Anak-anak seringkali menjadi korban kasus cidera saat terjadi kecelakaan maupun bencana alam. Data terakhir dari United Nation International Strategy For Disaster, sebanyak 60 persen anak-anak di dunia ternyata merupakan korban bencana alam. Berbagai ancaman masih mengintai anak seperti bencana alam. Ancaman tersebut diperparah dengan kondisi sekolah yang kurang kondusif, bangunan yang tidak layak, sarana prasarana yang tidak memenuhi standar. Merujuk data 15 tahun terakhir dari BNPB tahun 2017, terdapat 46.648 sekolah yang terdampak bencana. MIN 1 Bantul telah merespon positif model sekolah yang aman bencana dengan dinobatkan sebagai peringkat 3 SEAMEO Japan Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Award.Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) motivasi MIN 1 Bantul membentuk sekolah aman bencana dilatarbelakangi gempa tahun 2006. Selain itu adanya kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan keamanan bagi warga madrasah. (2) pelaksanaan program sekolah aman bencana di MIN 1 Bantul berupa sekolah siaga bencana sudah berjalan dengan baik. Program tersebut dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan kerangka kerja struktural dan non struktural serta mengacu 3 pilar sekolah aman bencana  yang meliputi fasilitas sekolah aman, manajemen bencana di sekolah, dan pendidikan pencegahan. (3) Keterkaitan sekolah aman bencana dengan pendidikan karakter adanya keselarasan pelaksanaan sekolah aman bencana dengan pembiasaan yang dilakukan di MIN 1 Bantul.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the implementation of 5S programs at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Ambarbinangun Tirtonirmolo Bantul which include: General character education in general, teacher's understanding toward character education through 5S and principals and teachers efforts in building students character through 5S.               This research is a case study qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this research were interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data validity techniques used in this research was source and data triangulations.               The results of this study indicate that Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Ambarbinangun has carried out the formation of student character through habituation of the implementation of the 5S as follows: (1) the teacher has understood the nature of character education well, (2) the implementation of the 5S is based on self-development which includes routine school activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary and conditioning. 5S is also implemented in the learning activities through; school’s curriculum, scoring and subjects. The school principal’s roles are coordinating, mobilizing, and harmonizing the implementation of teaching and learning processes at the school. Meanwhile, teachers give the students motivation to have better characters. It can be seen from the students’ routine activities to stay in lines in front of the class before entering each room then shaking hands with the teacher.Keywords: Character building, application of 5 S (senyum, sapa, salam , sopan santun)

Abstract

The change of value is a reality that is has been occurred in society. Changes in one aspect of values will have implications for other aspects including activities that exist in madrasa, because madrasa is part of the sub-system of the community. Changes of respect value also occurs in the community around MI Maarif Kokap was located, precisely in the Menoreh hills of Yogyakarta, whereas this value is an important value that will affect the existence of the community itself.This article discusses the internalization of respect in MI Maarif Kokap Kulon Progo DIY. The results of the study show that respect internalization is carried out through classroom learning and activities that are routine and informal outside the classroom. These activities can effectively safeguard respect towards students, so students have a habit of implementing them. The success of respect internalization in MI Maarif can increase public trust in the existence of the madrasah.Keyword; internalization, change, value

Abstract

Institusi Perguruan Tinggi di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia, semakin menyadari bahwa mereka sedang menghadapi tekanan besar internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi. Perubahan sistem pendidikan secara besar-besaran juga telah dilakukan oleh sejumlah negara untuk  mendorong setiap institusi perguruan tinggi di negara mereka untuk “memasukkan”  sebuah “agenda Internasionalisasi” ke dalam kebijakan  institusi mereka. Para pemangku kebijakan di UIN Walisongo sudah meletakan landasan bagi pengembangan riset yang berorientasi pada pencapaian internasional hal tersebut tercermin dari milestone pengembangan institusi yang digambarkan dalam tahapan (fase) realisasi visi dan misi institusi menuju universitas riset yang memiliki reputasi internasional (world class research university) di tahun 2033-2038. Dampak rintisan kebijakan internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi di UIN Walisongo, penyelenggaraan rintisan kebijakan internasionalisasi  pendidikan tinggi di UIN Walisongo memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan bagi, 1) perbaikan kualitas budaya akademik: pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat; 2) peningkatan daya saing dan keterserapan lulusan, 3)peningkatan kualitas kerja sama internasional, dan 4)peningkatan reputasi lembaga dari sudut pandang internasional.Kata Kunci: Internasionalisasi, Internasionalisasi Pendidikan Tinggi, Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo.

Abstract

Sejarah kebudayaan Islam atau SKI adalah mata pelajaran yang membahas, mempelajari dan menceritakan sejarah-sejarah atau kejadian-kejadian pada masa lampau tentang kebudayaan Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merumuskan dan menganalisis maharoh/kemahiran pada mata pelajaran SKI, yang dipetakan berdasarkan Permendikbud No. 24 Tahun 2016 dan KMA No. 165 Tahun 2014. penelitian maharoh SKI ini dilakukan pada jenjang sekolah menengah menengah atas (SMA/MA). Analisis maharoh tersebut dipetakan dari KI dan KD yang terdapat dalam permendikbud dan KMA mapel SKI. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah  untuk menemukan maharah pelajaran SK  yang  harus dikuasai peserta didik pada mata pelajaran SKI. Berdasaran analisis terhadap maharah dalam Permendikbud  No.  24 Tahun 2016  dan KMA No. 165 Tahun 2014 dari kelas X, XI dan XII  dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 11 maharah yang sering muncul yaitu:  meyakini, memahami, mengambil ibrah, mengaitkan, meneladani, mengimplementasikan, menjelaskan, menceritakan kembali, menghayati, menghayati. Dapat disimpulkan maharah yang  menjadi  dasar  kemahiran SKI adalah maharah menghayati untuk ranah sikap spiritual, maharah meneladani untuk ranah sikap sosial, merekonstruksi untuk ranah pengetahuan, dan menceritakan kembali untuk ranah keterampilan. Kata Kunci : Maharoh/kemahiran, SKI, Sekolah, Madrasah.
