<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research was motivated by the high level of juvenile delinquency in the Mega Permai V Complex, Lubuk Buaya Village, Padang. This can be caused by many factors including the low parental social control. This study aims to see a picture of parental social control, a picture of juvenile delinquency and the relationship between juvenile delinquency in Mega Permai V Complex, Lubuk Buaya Village, Padang. This type of research is descriptive correlational where parental social control is a variable (X) and juvenile delinquency as a variable (Y). The population in this study were 55 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique as many as 35 people. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and the product moment. The results showed that the description of parental social control to adolescents was still categorized as low, the description of juvenile delinquency was categorized as high and there was a significant relationship between juvenile delinquency in Mega Permai V Complex, Lubuk Buaya Village, Padang.Keywords: Parental social control, juvenile delinquency]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students of package C class XI in computer subjects in PKBM SAKATO, Bayang district, Pesisir Selatan. This is presumably because it has something to do with the learning enviroment in PKBM SAKATO, Bayang district, Pesisir Selatan. This study aims to look at the description of learning motivation, learning environment and the relationship between learning motivation and learning environment of package C class XI students in computer subject at PKBM SAKATO, Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is quantitative research that is descriptive corerelational. The study population was 40 students of package C in PKBM SAKATO, Bayang district and a sample of 75% namely 30 people with the sampling technique is a random sample. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used the formula for the percentage of product moment correlation. The results of this study show that the learning environment of students is categorized as less conducive, then the learning motivation of students in the package C class XI in PKBM SAKATO is still categorized as low, this can be observed through the answers that have been given by respondents to the indicators of the statements that were examined. Then there is a significant relationship between the learning environment and the learning motivation of the XI class C package students in PKBM SAKATO. Suggestions to the management of the SAKATO PKBM institution to further improve the qualityy of the environment for learning. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of tahfizd participants in the Al-Hasib Banyan Al-Hasib TPQ-TPSQ allegedly due to the lack of management of the learning environment in Al-Hasib Nagari TPQ-TPSQ Lansat Kadap, Rao Selatan District, Pasaman Regency. This study aims to: (1) describe the management of the learning environment, (2) describe the learning outcomes of participants, and (3) see the relationship between the management of the learning environment and the learning outcomes of tahfizd participants at TPQ / TPSQ Al-Hasib in Beringin. This study is classified as correlational quantitative with a population of all TPQ and TPSQ participants consisting of elementary school children in grades V and VI and junior classes I, II, III with 28 people. While the sample was taken as much as 75% of the population, amounting to 21 people with stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using structured interviews and then analyzed using descriptive analysis and the rhank order correlation formula. The results showed that: (1) the management of learning environment in TPQ-TPSQ Al-Hasib was categorized as still not good, (2) the learning outcomes of tahfizd participants in TPQ-TPSQ Al-Hasib Banyan were relatively low, and (3) there was a significant relationship between management of the learning environment with the learning outcomes of tahfizd participants at the TPQ / TPSQ Al-Hasib Banyan Nagari Lansat Kadap Kecamatan Rao Selatan Pasaman RegencyKeywords: environmental management, learning outcomes]]>

<![CDATA[The Relationship Between Instructors' Teaching Skills and the Learning Outcomes of the Learning Community at PKBM Surya, Padang City. Thesis. Faculty of Science Education. Padang State University. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of citizens learning to attend sewing training at PKBM Surya, Padang city. This is presumably because it has something to do with the teaching skills of PKBM instructor Surya, Padang city. This study aims to describe the teaching skills of instructors, learning outcomes of learning citizens in the learning environment, and the relationship between instructor teaching skills and sewing learning outcomes of learning residents at PKBM Surya Kota Padang.This type of research is quantitative research that is descriptive correlational. The population of the study were all 20 learning citizens who attended sewing training at PKBM Sury Padang city and respondents, namely all residents learning embroidery training, with the sampling technique used was a quota sampling. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used the percentage formula and Spearman rho correlation.The results of this study show that the teaching skills of the instructor are not good, the learning outcomes of learning citizens to sew are low, and there is a significant relationship between the teaching skills of the instructors and the learning outcomes of learning citizens in PKBM Surya Padang city, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the correlation using the Spearman rho formula. which is indicates that rcount (0.619) is greater than rtable at both the 5% confidence level (0.450) and the 1% confidence level (0.591). It is suggested that the PKBM Surya institution provide a conducive learning environment so that participants are motivated to attend embroidery training.Keywords: instructor teaching skills, citizen learning outcomes ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to see the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the learning participation of students in Islamic Civilization History subjects. This research is motivated by a less varied learning model in the subjects of Islamic Civilization History. This type of research is quantitative with quasi-experimental methods and a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects used two classes, namely the experimental and control classes, which then used an instrument in the form of an observation sheet. Data analysis to test the effectiveness of learning using the t test. The results showed that the participation rate of students in the experimental class was in the high category with a mean of 18.40 (77%) while the control class was included in the fairly high category of 14.00 (58%). Participation in learning can also improve students 'understanding, it can be obtained from the results of the students' Post Test. The results of hypothesis testing by applying the Independent Sample T Test, it is known that the value (Sig 2-tailet) is 0,000 and less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) method can increase the participation of students.Keywords: Team Games Tournament (TGT), Participation, Learning]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is that the lack of interest in reading the citizens of learning package C at PKBM Widya Dharma Nagari Solok Selatan, researchers suspect the cause of this lack of interest in reading is a lack of need for reading. This study aims to describe the reading needs of learning citizens, to find out a description of the reading interests of learning citizens and how the relationship between the two. The type of this research is a quantitative study with a correlational approach. The population of this study was all citizens who studied package C who were active in PKBM Widya Dharma Nagari Solok Selatan during the 2019 school year, totaling 30 people. The sample in this study was taken as much as 65% with a total of 20 people. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used a percentage formula and Rank order. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the reading needs of learning citizens are still low, (2) the reading interest of learning citizens is still low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between reading needs and reading interest in learning package C in PKBM Widya Dharma Nagari Solok Selatan.Keywords: need for reading, interest in reading, learning citizen]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the successful implementation of life skills learning to sew household linen in an effort to improve the family economy in the Mega Permai Complex in Padang Sarai District, which is thought to be due to an effective learning strategy. This study aims to describe the learning strategies, learning approaches, methods and techniques of learning household linen sewing skills. This type of research is a qualitative research using a case study approach. Sources of data in this study consisted of research subjects, namely people who worked as tailors at the Mega Main Complex in Kel. Padang Sarai and research informants, namely owners and employees of sewing houses who produce household linen, and former employees who later set up their own businesses in the Mega Permai Complex. The data collection technique used the observation method, the interview method and the documentation method with the data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Researchers in this study used triangulation techniques in order to assess the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the learning strategy used by educators as well as household linen sewing house owners is to use direct learning strategies. Because in learning activities it is more educator-centered and is most often used. And this learning strategy uses the lecture method and there is also an element of practice. 2) The learning approach used by educators as well as household linen sewing house owners is to use an individual approach. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi warga belajar mengikuti pelatihan membordir di PKBM Surya Kota Padang, hal ini diduga karena ada kaitannya dengan lingkungan belajar peserta mengikuti pelatihan membordir di PKBM Surya Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan lingkungan belajar, motivasi warga belajar, dan keterkaitan keduanya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yaitu deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh warga belajar yang mengikuti pelatihan membordir sebanyak 20 orang dan semua populasi dijadikan sampel, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah quota sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan korelasi Spearman rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) lingkungan belajar peserta diklat kurang kondusif, (2) motivasi warga belajar masih rendah, (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan belajar dengan motivasi masyarakat. untuk belajar mengikuti pelatihan membordir di PKBM Surya Kota Padang. Disarankan agar lembaga PKBM Surya menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif agar peserta termotivasi untuk mengikuti pelatihan membordir. (3) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan belajar dengan motivasi belajar masyarakat mengikuti pelatihan membordir di PKBM Surya Kota Padang. Disarankan agar lembaga PKBM Surya menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif agar peserta termotivasi untuk mengikuti pelatihan membordir. <![CDATA[After taking The National Examination Test, some senior high school students apply to Bimbel (Learning Service Centre) in Yogyakarta and leave Bimbel in their provinces instead. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between the teaching-learning quality of Yogyakarta`s Bimbel and students` motivation from outside Java Island for choosing Yogyakarta`s Bimbel to prepare pre-college study. The study used a quantitative method by using SPSS to analyze statistical descriptive and correlation data. There were 107 respondents from various provinces in Indonesia involved in this study. A study found that the majority of respondents agreed that the teaching-learning quality in Yogyakarta`s Bimbel helped them to enter the top-10 universities in Indonesia. Students have a high motivation to study in Yogyakarta`s Bimbel. There is a strong correlation between the teaching-learning quality of Yogyakarta`s Bimbel and students` motivation to study. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The majority of students agree that the teaching-learning quality of Yogyakarta`s Bimbel is better than their own province; (2) Students` motivation to study in Yogyakarta`s Bimbel is high; And (3) There is a strong relationship between teaching-learning quality and students` motivation to study in Yogyakarta`s Bimbel.Keywords: Teaching-Learning Quality, Students` Motivation, Yogyakarta`s Bimbel]]>

<![CDATA[The Minister of Education and Culture and his staff are trying to liberate teachers and students. Teachers are given the opportunity to explore their potential and their students. Teachers and students are given the freedom to think and determine the appropriate method in achieving learning objectives. The diversity of the abilities of students does not make students a source of self-doubt, but serves as benchmarks for teachers in building teacher gives freedom to students in choosing the methods and materials they need. Students are fully responsible for the educational process. The concept of “Merdeka Belajar” with humanistic theory along with its objectives the abilities of their students in a positive direction. Teachers are no longer burdened with administrative tasks that hinder teacher creativity. Humanistic learning theory has the aim of humanizing humans. The implementation, and evaluation. The goal to be achieved is to humanize humans and explore and develop the potential of teachers and students. Implementation of learning refers to meaningful learning that prioritizes the needs of students in real life.
