Abstract

This research is motivated by the low social emotional development of children. This is evident from the fact that there are still a lot of kids who can't cooperate with friends, who don't want to share with friends, who want to win at all costs, and who are less receptive to their environment. This investigation will: 1) Take a look at the explanation of parental care for kids between the ages of 3-4 years. 2) See a summary of the social and emotional growth of kids between the ages of 3-4 years. 3) Seeing the relationship between parenting and social emotional development of children aged 3-4 years. This study's methodology is a quantitative, correlational technique. In this study, a total of 60 women with children in the age range of 3 to 4 years lived in Tenam Village, Muara Bulian District. Researchers frequently employ cluster random sampling. Strategies for gathering data in the form of a questionnaire. Techniques for data analysis use Product Moment and percentage calculations. The results of the study show that: 1) The description of parental care for children in Tenam Village is categorized as good. 2) The description of the social emotional development of children aged 3-4 years in Tenam Village is categorized as not good. 3) There is a relationship between parenting and social emotional development of children aged 3-4 years in Tenam Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the parents’ strategies applied in improving childrens’ ability in memorizing Al Qur’an. The research method used in this study is qualitative with case study method, because this research describes or describes the state of the object under study in accordance with the facts as they are. The research data was taken from in depth interviews, observation and documentation study with several informants and the subjects of this research were 2 families (family of Mr A and family of Mrs. J). The place where the research process took place was in the Caringin Street 006/002, Margajaya Village, Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. The research found that the informants parents’ strategies in improving children’ ability to memorize the Qur’an include:1) parents must start to memorize Qur’an before the children, 2) give the children rewards everytime their reach the target, 3) register their children into tahfiz based school, 4) memorizing the Qur’an together with the children, 5)always send sincere prayers so Allah make it easy for the children to memorize the Qur’an, 6)make a regular tahfiz schedule daily.

Abstract

This research is background by the resilience of women as single parents in carrying out their roles as mothers and fathers for their children. The purpose of the study was to describe the role of female cake kipang workers as single parents in Tanjung Kipang Nagari Atar, Padang Ganting District, Tanah Datar Regency. The focus of the research is how the role of female kue kipang workers is as a single parent in educating children and also as the person in charge of the family economy. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of case study research. The research subjects were 2 female cake kipang workers who were single parents and their children, while the research informants were the family and closest neighbors of the research subjects. The research location is in Tanjung Kipang Nagari Atar, Padang Ganting District, Tanah Datar Regency. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results of the research on the role of women as single parents are as follows: first, the role of women as single parents in educating children. In educating children, the roles of women are: (1) Fulfilling psychological, social, and religious needs. The things that parents do to meet the psychological, social, and religious needs are: (a) Fulfilling the psychological needs of children by accompanying children to study at night at home, so that children do not feel lonely and ask how the children are even though the children are far from their parents. (b) Meeting social needs by involving children in solving problems that are being faced so that children can express their opinions and find solutions to the problems they are facing. (c) Meeting the religious needs of the child by reminding the child to always perform the five daily prayers and giving sanctions to the child when the child leaves the prayer. (2) Women as single parents become examples and models for children, namely parents invite children to carry out maghrib recitals so that children get used to doing it in the future. (3) Women as single parents in stimulating children's development, namely providing understanding to children about the condition of parents so that they can help parents and give responsibility to children to do homework. Second, the role of female kue kipang workers as single parents as the person in charge of the family economy. As the person in charge of the family economy, namely, (1) Working as a cake worker to be able to meet family needs and children's educational needs. (2) Doing other side jobs to increase income, namely working as farm laborers, raising cattle and also washing dishes at celebration events. (3) Regulating income in a frugal way so that the living needs and educational needs of children can be met properly. Keywords: The Role of Single Parent Women

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest in learning for the residents of learning package B at PKBM Sentosa Hati, Padang City. Researchers suspect that one of the contributing factors is an unfavorable learning climate. This study aims to (1). To describe the learning climate, (2). To describe interest in learning, (3). Seeing the relationship between the learning climate and the learning interest of the residents studying Package B at PKBM Sentosa Hati, Padang City. This research is a type of correlation research using a quantitative approach. The population of this study is the study residents, totaling 35 people. And sampling with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used the percentage formula and rank order. The results showed that the learning climate of residents studying Package B at PKBM Sentosa Hati, Padang City was not very supportive. The learning interest of learning residents is low. And there is a significant relationship between the learning climate and the learning interest of the residents in learning package B at PKBM Sentosa Hati, Padang City. It is suggested to administrators oreducators at PKBM Sentosa Hati, Padang City to pay attention to the learning climate because this affects the learning interest of learning citizens. The better the learning climate applied, the higher the learning interest of students. On the other hand, a learning climate that is not good will affect the learning interest of learningcitizens.Keywords: learning climate, interest in learning, package B

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest of students in choosing scout extracurricular activities at SMAN 3 Solok. It is suspected that there are factors that cause the lack of student interest including the lack of support from school leaders, lack of motivation from the coaches, inadequate existing facilities, thus making students less interested in choosing scout extracurricular activities. The aims of this study are: (1) to describe the constraints in the aspect of school leadership support for scout extracurricular activities; (2) Describe the obstacles in the aspect of the role of the coach to the program in overcoming the obstacles of students to choose scout extracurricular activities; (3) Describe the obstacles in the aspect of providing facilities provided by the school to scout extracurricular activities; (4) Describe the obstacles in the aspect of student interest in choosing scout extracurricular activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a population of 70 people, with a sampling technique of 60% of the population as many as 35 people. This study shows the results, namely: (1) school leadership support for scout extracurricular is less supportive; (2) students' obstacles in choosing extracurricular are not good; (3) facilities and infrastructure as well as the role of coaches in extracurricular activities at SMA 3 Kota Solok do not become obstacles for students in choosing extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the PKBM Farilla Ilmi institution, Padang City, which has one program, namely Entrepreneurial Skills Education. The entrepreneurial skills education program is intended as initial capital for students, so that their mental preparation and development of mental preparation and entrepreneurship become independent, understand several skill techniques and also the basis of business management to solve economic problems. The implementation of the entrepreneurial skills education program at PKBM Farilla Ilmi, there is one of them is training to make flower pot crafts and paintings from coconut fiber. One of the objectives to be achieved by the entrepreneurship skills education program is increasing business ability to develop and realize the abilities of PKBM students, strengthening the empowerment of PKBM students by increasing knowledge, attitudes and skills, increasing business motivation, creating awareness about the utilization of potential local. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study were the head of PKBM, tutors, and residents studying the entrepreneurial skills education program. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis technique in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The wetness of the data obtained from this study is triangulation of sources and theories. The results of the research and discussion are 1) Development of entrepreneurial skills education programs; 2) Description of the entrepreneurial skills education program; 3) Evaluation of entrepreneurship skills education program; 4) Lack of entrepreneurial skills education programs; 5) Coconut fiber crafts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low skills and knowledge of first aid in PMR extracurricular which is thought to be caused by the media used by the trainer in the training process. Therefore, it is necessary to renew the training method using the role playing method. This study aims to see the effect of using the role playing method in improving the skills of helping participants in PMR extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with an experimental approach to pre-experimental design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all participants in PMR extracurricular activities. Sampling was done by random sampling. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest. The data collection tool is a skill test in the form of an assessment guide and a knowledge test in the form of test questions. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used the correlation sample t-test formula. The results showed that there was a significant effect between the use of the role playing method in improving first aid skills with the value of th < to -7,226 < 2,001 on the skill test and th < to which was -7,998 < 2,001 on the knowledge test.Keywords: Role playing method, first aid skills, PMR extracurricular.

Abstract

in this study is the low competency results of electronic engineering training participants at the Payakumbuh Work Training Center (BLK) UPTD. self-awareness of the electronics engineering trainees. This study aims to: 1. Describe the picture of self-awareness of participants in electronics engineering training at BLK Payakumbuh, 2. Describe a picture of learning outcomes of participants in electronics engineering training at BLK Payakumbuh, 3. See the relationship between self-awareness and learning outcomes of participants in electronics engineering training at BLK Payakumbuh .This study uses a quantitative approach, with the type of correlation. The population of the study was the training participants, totaling 32 people, the sampling technique was using Simple Sampel randomly and taken 70% that is 23 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data collection tools in the form of a list of statements. The data analysis technique uses Rank Order and percentage formula.The results showed that: 1) The description of the level of self-perception of the participants in the electronics engineering training course at the Payakumbuh Work Training Center (BLK) was low, 2) The description of the results was low training participants at UPTD Payakumbuh Work Training Center (BLK) was categorized as very low, 3) there is a close relationship self-awareness and learning outcomes of electronic engineering training participants at UPTD Payakumbuh Work Training Center (BLK). Hopefullyexpected in this research that the training manager be able to increase the self-awareness of the electronic engineering training participants in learning at BLK Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the poor behavior of husband and wife in the family, which resulted in an increase in the divorce rate in Batipuh District, Tanah Datar Regency from 2020 - 2021, which was 291 cases. The increase in the divorce rate was caused by the husband and wife having attended a premarital course program. This is presumably due to the low understanding of the husband and wife on the premarital course material. This study aims to see a picture of a married couple's understanding of the premarital course material, to see the behavior of a married couple in a family, and to see the relationship between the two. This type of research is correlational with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 250 married couples who had received a Prenuptial Course at the KUA, Batipuah District. The sample is taken as much as 20% of the sample is as many as 50 husband and wife couples. The sampling technique uses a convenient type of probability sampling. The collection technique uses a questionnaire, while the data collection tool is a list of statements. The data analysis technique of this research uses percentage and product moment. The results of this study can be seen that: (1) The understanding of married couples about premarital course material in Batipuh sub-district, Tanah Datar Regency is quite adequate, (2) The behavior of husband and wife in family life in Batipuh District, Tanah Datar Regency is classified as poor. , (3) There is a significant relationship between the understanding of married couples on premarital course material with their behavior in the family. Suggestions from this study are addressed to premarital course participants in order to improve the application of premarital course materials in families, to premarital course managers to add and develop materials that are really needed by married couples in building a harmonious family, and to further researchers in order to deepen this study with different variables.

Abstract

The fact that the participants were successful in reaching their objective of developing the participants' abilities and also their skills regarding soap-making activities. With the UPTD of Essential Oils in the City of Padang, which created a soap-making training program, it could help realize the wishes of the participants and achieve the implementation of the program provided by the institution. The teaching method is very influential in the delivery of material, so that participants can make soap products and market these products so that they can increase the economy of each participant. When conducting research, a qualitative methodology known as the case study method is used. The training participants who served as the study's subjects, the instructors, and the soap-making committee served as the study's informants. Utilized data collection methods comprise seeing, recording, and speaking with people. The methods of data analysis employed are data reduction, data display, and conclusion-making. Method triangulation and source triangulation are both used in the data validation process. The findings due to investigation show lest implementation of soap-making training at the UPTD Essential OilsThe conclusion is that; a) participants understand the terms and conditions provided by the UPTD. b) participants know the function and are able to use the equipment properly. c) participants understand each step in the soap-making process. d) participants saw directly the process of making soap using the demonstration method. e) participants master the material and succeed in making soap
