Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether or not there is any impact of the activity of red cross youth organization to the effective speaking ability of the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Panca Rijang Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research uses two variables, namely the activity of the red cross youth organization as independent variabel (experimental group) and the ability to speak effective as a dependent variabel (control group). The population in this study is all students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Panca Rijang Sidenreng Rappang Regency as many as 193 students, while the sample is 15% of the total population, which is 30 students. Data collection technique in this studi, ie documentation techniques then the results obtained from these techniques are further analyzed and processed through descriptive statistical techniques in the form of mean.The results showed that the value Mx = 68,3 and My = 63 so it can be seen that the value of Mx greater than My, ie 68,3 >63. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is impact of activity of organization of red cross yout organization to ability of effective speaking of student of class XI Negeri 2 Panca Rijang Sidenreng Rappang Regency.Keywords: Activity, Youth Red Cross organization, Speak effectively

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to apply the model of professional development of lesson study in Speech Skills course through debating ability of student of lndonesian language and literature study program of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Muhammadiyah University Professor Dr. Hamka. This lesson study program involves various elements, namely the lecturers team of lesson study, lecturers of speech skills students and semester III students of Indonesian Language and Literature Studies Program FKIP UHAMKA. This research uses Classroom Action Research which consists of (1) Plan stage, is development of teaching materials that is debate. (2) Do stage in the form of activities or implementation in the classroom by the model lecturer in the form of learning to students of the third semester, and (3) See stage or joint reflection between the model lecturer and the observer team about the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials and processes that have been implemented. Lesson Study activities are designed in two cycles, each cycle consists of 2X meetings, at each meeting will be Plan, Do, and See stages in each learning process. The purpose of phasing in each cycle is to improve the students 'ability to speak which was previously passive, but continuously improved by using appropriate methods and media can improve students' ability in expressing their arguments so that students can improve their ability to argue. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the implementation of lesson study has given satisfaction to lecturer model and observer and student. (2) the are able to produce lessons (RPS, LKM, teaching materials, learning media, and quality assessment instruments) as they are made together with model lecturers and lecturers observer teams) (3) Dean of FKIP Uhamka’s support and its staff on lesson study activities for the improvement of lecturers professionalism that will ultimately improve the quality of education.Keywords: Ability, Inquiry, Media, Speech Skills

Abstract

The objective of this research was to explain the improvement of writing captions narrative using animated media images of class V.B SD Negeri 17 Lubuklinggau. The research method used was classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. Techniques of collecting data using test and observation techniques. The research process of each cycle was done through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are students of class V.B with a total of 29 students consisting of 18 male students and 11 female students. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to write a narrative essay of class V.B SD Negeri 17 Lubuklinggau by using animation media images. This is evidenced by students who get the value of ≥ 70 or who have completed in cycle two reached 93.10%. From the results of this study the Indonesian language teachers can use the animated media images in improving the ability to write narrative essay and ability on other basic competencies. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the character and characterization, plot, background, style of language, the point of view, theme and the mandate of Tere Liye's novel of Bidadari-Bidadari Surga. The method in this study is the content analysis of qualitative approach. Based on data analysis, the following results are summarized as follows: 1) The main character in Tere Liye's Novel of Bidadari-Bidadari Surga is Laisa, additional characters are Mamak, Babak, Dalimunte, Ikanuri, Wibisana, Yashinta. 2) The mixed flow, covering the situation Mother send Message to his children about the condition of the sickly Laisa, her mother sent to her children who message to he who received the first Message that Dalimunte, Ikanuri, Wibisana, and Yashintaberanjak adult, childhood continue to haunt them, climax that is Kak Laisa not yet married must pass by Dalimunte and his siblings. Dalimunte finally married after being forced by Kak Laisa. 3) The background consists of three sections, a backdrop of thirty-one backgrounds, a twenty-seven background setting, and a social setting that is a disgrace in the Lahambay Valley if an unmarried girl over the age of twenty. 4) The Language Style is the style of comparison, contradiction, and affirmation. 5) The third person's perspective "he" is omniscient and the point of view of "I" extra figure 6) The theme is the sincere sacrifice of a brother for the future of his younger brothers. 7) The mandate of this life must be lived with sincerity and full of gratitude for all that God has given. Abstract

This study was conducted to assess various languages trader deals in Bocor Beach Kebumen in terms of perspektik sociolinguistics. The aim of research to find out the deals utterances used by hawkers at Bocor Beach Kebumen, knowing offers a variety of language used by hawkers at Bocor Beach Kebumen, and knowing use of vocabulary that deals used by hawkers at Bocor Beach Kebumen. This study used a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is descriptive and analytical. The data used in this research is data in the form of a variety of language associated with language diversity offers Bocor beach hawkers. The results of the study deals buying and selling a variety of language, which is rarely done because of language preservation demands an understanding of the other person. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze literature learning material Class X SMA-MA-SMK in Curriculum Bahasa Indonesia 2016. The method is descriptive by referring to the stylistics study. The problem is how is the linguistic description of literature learning material above?. The findings can be concluded that the poet uses the single and complex sentences. It also uses the rhetorical sentence, parallelism, repetition, metaphor, and climax in poems. The chosen vocabulary by the author is the common vocabulary which they use in our daily life, however it has special meaning when it is arranged in the form of poetry. The imagination in their poems is very strong. It can be seen through visual, auditory, and tactile. Keywords: stylistics study, linguistics aspect, literature material, curriculum 2016

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to do an in-depth study of the representation of injustice cointaned in the anthology of poetry Nyanyian Akar Rumput written by Wiji Thukul and its implication in learning Indonesian language. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. The research concludes that the analyzed poems represent acts of injustice, such as commutative and recreative injustice. The results of this research showed: (1) Representation of commutative injustice was found in the poem entitled “Tanah” that revealed the people’s demand of justice caused by land expropriation;(2) Representation of recreative injustice was found in the poem entitled “Batas Panggung” that revealed the opposition caused by the lack of freedom in voicing their aspirations;(3) The implication of this research can be used by teachers and students as learning materials for literary study. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research examined the self-integrity of the main character in the movie The Ron Clark Story by Randa Haines. The focus of this research was to know the self- integrity through the portrayal of personality by using Carl Gustav’s psychoanalysis theory. This research used Jung’s psychoanalysis theory which focused on consciousness, personal consciousness, and collective consciousness. This research used qualitative method by taking steps using data collection, data analysis, and data presentation. The result of this research show that Ron Clark is a main character who has self-integrity because the personal consciousness and collective consciousness dominate more than his consciousness or ego. Key words: main character, self-integrity, psychoanalysis, and movie.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Nowadays, through technology, information spreads very rapidly. When something happens in one place, in a second it can be known by other people in other faraway places. Unfortunately the information is not always true. Many irresponsible people create misleading information and spread it massively which is known as hoax. This misleading information can provoke many bad effects even sometimes it is dangerous. The hoax can contain hatred, false health information, untrue disaster warning, and so on. This phenomena cannot be ignored. There have been many victims. To protect people from hoax can be done by training their critical thinking ability. One of the ways to make people able to think critically is through the implementation of critical discourse analysis (CDA). This research is aimed at building students’ critical thinking and also improving their English skills through the use of CDA. The method employed in this study was action research which was also completed by a focused group discussion. The research result shows that the students could improve their English skills and became more critical in writing a response to a text given by the lecturer by analyzing the text using the principles of CDA, not merely relying on their own opinion. Abstract

ABSTRACT This writing deals with the types of phraseology in air traffic controller’s communication. The objective of this writing is to find out the types of phraseology used in communication between ATC of KNIA and pilot. The source of this writing is an air traffic controller of KNIA. The data of this writing are the communication between controller and pilot which spoken in statements or commands called phraseology (words and phrases). Descriptive qualitative method is applied as a qualitative design in conducting this research. The instrument of data collection is voice recorder to record the data.
