Abstract

Mathematical problem fixing capability is one of the factors in attaining the desires of arithmetic education. Problem solving is the management of a problem using a method as a result of which it succeeds in finding the desired goal. Innovative learning is expected to increase mathematical problem-solving skills and be able to form students excited in learning. In the learning process using nht learning examples and STAD learners are actively involved. This study aims to find out the differences in students' mathematical problem-solving skills through nht and STAD type cooperative learning models. This research is experimental. The samples on this experimental were students of SMP Darussalam which consisted of 2 classes with 35 students in each class. The results of the study discovered that there are differences in students' mathematical problem-solving skills through nht and STAD type cooperative learning models. Both examples are effectively used in the learning of linear equations.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the role of one of the MBKM programs, namely Student Exchange in the development of competencies / skills of graduates of Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University. The MBKM program was born so that universities no longer put together, equalize and integrate between the fields of education and job training and work experience, but more broadly towards real experiences for students. This real experience will certainly enhance the competence / skills of students so that they will become graduates who earn a decent income according to the first point of Main Performance Indicators. This research is carried out in 2021 using quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were all students (population survey). Data is collected through the SPADA Dikti Survey and analyzed with frequency tabulation. Research results as many as 60% of students choose the Student Exchange program, as many as 60% of students stated that there was an increase in soft skills well after participating in MBKM activities, as many as 74% of students stated MBKM activities for universities according to the needs of graduates in the future, 91% of students expressed interest in the MBKM program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thinking in managing educational institutions at the Sekolah Taman Budaya Jambi. Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts on education have become the image of the history of education in Indonesia. The concept of education features the uniqueness of Indonesian culture and emphasizes the importance of processing potentials students in an integrated manner. In the management of educational institutions, the Sekolah Taman Budaya, which adopts the management of the Perguruan Taman Siswa, of course refers to the effort to refer to the Panca Dharma Pendidikan Taman Siswa and Pratap Triloka and synergizes with parents and the community through the Tri Pusat Pendidikan. This study limits the problem to the management of educational institutions that apply one of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts, namely Panca Dharma Pendidikan Taman Siswa. The research subject is the manager of the Sekolah Taman Budaya School. The object of the research is the application of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thinking in the management of the Sekolah Taman Budaya. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the thoughts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara which are expressed in the three educational philosophies and Panca Dharma are well implemented by the Sekolah Taman Budaya.

Abstract

The evaluation of The Regional Spatial Planning Training for the 1st class of 2018 at BPSDM of DKI Jakarta Province is needed to inspect the effectiveness of this training, as the result of posttest and pretest shows that some participants have less satisfactory results, requiring them to take a remedial test in order to graduate from the training. Based on the background of the problem and to reach a more comprehensive result of research, evaluation is done  to every component of training, which consists of context, input, process, and product of the training that is linked to the characteristic of participants. The study used a mixed of qualitative and quantitative method with descriptive approach and the CIPP evaluation model. The research result shows that: 1) The context component has been well-delivered, 2) The input component need to be more elevated, which includes the requirement of participants and provision of training facilities,  3) The process component has an excellent result, which includes the performance of training process with a score of 86,69, the curriculum implementation with a score of 83,75, training facilities usage with a score of 85,49, and trainer performance with score of 88,89, 4) The product component: all of participants are able to be graduated and the aspect to influence the level of graduating participants are their gender, age and work location.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic period makes students have to study at home but there are obstacles during study at home, these obstacles include learning equipment such as laptops, or internet networks, as well as the role of parents. Therefore, it carried out a research aimed at finding out how much effectiveness there is in applying bold learning to high school children's learning outcomes and to find out what methods are appropriate for bold learning in 2020. The method in this research is correlational to test the truth of the hypothesis by using regression simple linear analysis. Based on the results, it can be said that continuous online learning for students in the Tanjung Barat area, South Jakarta is less effective, this is due to the constraints experienced by students and parents in online learning both in terms of material that is less than half of the material that students can absorb and the ability of teachers, students and even parents in using the internet which is still low.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify STEM PCK competence and barometer for gen z and millennial teachers in West Kalimantan as the authority successor subject in the future education with an evaluation stage which was expected as a further step taken so that progression scale realized and had implications for education advancement, especially in West Kalimantan. Respondents involved in this study amounted to 41 teachers aged 23 to 30 years spread over 14 districts/cities in West Kalimantan applying probability sampling technique. The instrument used is STEM PCK questionnaire adopted from Yildirim and Sahin (2019) which consists of 56 statements consisting of 12 statements related to pedagogy, 14 statements of 21st century skills knowledge, and 30 other questions related to STEM PCK knowledge, the data obtained through the use of a Likert rating scale, then each respondent will be classified into 3 levels, namely high, medium and low using the interpretation of the average score on the Likert scale. The result showed that in general there are 5 respondents or 12.2% who are in the high category and 36 other respondents or 87.8% are in the low category, and there are no respondents who are in the low category, it can be interpreted that although there is no respondents who had low STEM PCK competence, however, there are many millennial teachers in West Kalimantan on a medium scale who are needed to be able to implement every aspect of STEM PCK in learning optimally so that dynamic educational standards are realized with global demands in the modern era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the effect of positive thinking skills and self-concept together on the mathematics learning achievement of private vocational high school students in Bekasi, (2) The effect of positive thinking skills on mathematics learning achievement of private vocational high school students in Bekasi, (3) the influence of self-concept on mathematics learning achievement of private SMK students in Bekasi. The research method used in this study is a quantitative survey method, and then the survey data are analyzed using multiple regression analysis.  In the description of the research data, the results of the research can be stated from the data obtained including the highest, lowest, average, (mean) mode, median scores. In processing the data obtained, the researchers carried out processing with the help of Microsoft Exel and SPSS 20 applications. The results of the study concluded that there was an insignificant effect of positive thinking ability and self-concept together on students' mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

This paper aims at knowing the influence of lecturer's social support and perception on students' reading activities of IAIN Kerinci and STAI An Nadwah Kuala Tungkal, Jambi. This paper applies the principles of quantitative research with a sample of 270 students from IAIN Kerinci and 170 students from STAI An Nadwah Kuala Tungkal. This samples are processed using the Slovin formula, while the questionnaire instrument uses the Likert scale as a survey instrument for variables of reading interest, perception of reading activity and lecturer's  social support which is then tested for feasibility using construct validity. The research was conducted from June to October 2021. This paper concludes that lecturers' social support and perception of reading activities together affect reading interest of IAIN Kerinci students by 66.2% and 33.8% is influenced by other factors, while for STAI An Nadwah Kuala Tungkal students by 41.3% and 58.7% influenced by other factors. This  social support is in the moderate category. Meanwhile, students' perceptions of reading activities showed positive and negative perceptions.

Abstract

This research is a survey conducted on 20 students of SMP Ma`arif in the academic year 2020/2021. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The subjects studied were about learning interest and the level of understanding of mathematical concepts about the arithmetic sequence of students. The Quizizz platform is a platform that can be used to find out how much students understand mathematical concepts. This research was conducted on 20 students of class VIII SMP Ma`arif Jakarta using 10 conceptual questions presented by the Quizizz platform. The results of the analysis showed that the overall conceptual understanding of students was 56%. This shows that the level of understanding of the concepts that students have is in the medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan E-LKM berbasis konstruktivisme berbantuan quizizz dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa pada teori graph. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Thiagarajan dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap define, design, dan develop. Produk valid dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli, produk praktis dilihat dari hasil angket, sedangkan produk efektif dilihat dari hasil uji coba. Hasil validasi para ahli memperoleh aspek materi dinyatakan sangat valid dengan hasil sebesar 4,67 sedangkan aspek media dinyatakan sangat valid dengan hasil sebesar 4,09. Hasil angket dosen pengampu mata kuliah memperoleh hasil sebesar 4,29 dengan kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan hasil angket respon mahasiswa diperoleh hasil sebesar 4,53 dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil uji coba memperoleh hasil terdapat peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teori graph dimana terdapat peningkatan nilai pretest dan posttest mahasiswa sehingga produk efektif digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan E-LKM berbasis konstruktivisme berbantuan quizizz dapat memfasilitasi pencapaian kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teori graph.
