Abstract

AbstractThe armed conflict in Syria has caused a severe humanitarian crisis, including significant disruption of the education system. Education, as a basic human right, is key in rebuilding post-conflict countries and societies. In this context, the role of Education Cannot Wait (ECW) as a global humanitarian foundation for education in emergencies becomes very crucial. This research aims to analyze ECW's contribution to efforts to restore education in Syria. Through a qualitative approach, this research will examine various programs and initiatives that have been implemented by ECW in Syria. Data will be collected through literature studies. It is hoped that the research results will provide a comprehensive picture of the extent to which ECW has been successful in overcoming the challenges of educational recovery in Syria. Apart from that, it is also hoped that this research can provide policy recommendations for policy makers, humanitarian organizations and other stakeholders in an effort to increase the effectiveness of humanitarian assistance in the education sector in the future.  Keywords: Education Cannot Wait, Syria, education recovery, humanitarian crisis, humanitarian aid AbstrakKonflik bersenjata di Suriah telah menyebabkan krisis kemanusiaan yang parah, termasuk disrupsi sistem pendidikan yang signifikan. Pendidikan, sebagai hak dasar manusia, menjadi kunci dalam membangun kembali negara dan masyarakat pasca-konflik. Dalam konteks ini, peran Education Cannot Wait (ECW) sebagai fondasi kemanusiaan global untuk pendidikan dalam keadaan darurat menjadi sangat krusial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi ECW dalam upaya pemulihan pendidikan di Suriah. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini akan mengkaji berbagai program dan inisiatif yang telah dilaksanakan oleh ECW di Suriah. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai sejauh mana ECW berhasil dalam mengatasi tantangan-tantangan dalam pemulihan pendidikan di Suriah. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan bagi para pembuat kebijakan, organisasi kemanusiaan, dan para pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas bantuan kemanusiaan di bidang pendidikan di masa depan. Kata Kunci: Education Cannot Wait, Suriah, Pemulihan Pendidikan, Krisis Kemanusiaan, Bantuan Kemanusiaan.

Abstract

By reading novels students can simultaneously learn several language skills. Vocabulary skills related to other language skills. Vocabulary skills are related to the ability to write and read as well as speak. However, not many teachers do not use novels as a teaching medium. In the novel, there are idiom expressions that are very important for the development of students' English skills. This research method uses qualitative methods, with literature study research techniques. The document being studied is a novel entitled Marry Poppins. The results of the study found several types of idioms, 36% of phrasal verbs, 22% of prepositional phrases, 14% of idioms with verbs as keywords, 11% of idioms with nouns as keywords, 11% of idioms with adjective as keywords and 6 idiomatic pairs. %

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the results of the implementation of group counseling services in overcoming the difficulties of learners grade class VII.D Junior High School (SMPN) 2 North Sungkai Odd Semester Academic Year 2013/2014, guidance services group can overcome the difficulties of learners class VII .D SMPN 2 North SungkaiOdd Semester Academic Year 2013/2014. The study designs using follow-services research. The subject in this study is VII.D grade students of SMPN 2 North Sungkai Odd Semester Academic Year 2013/2014. With a number of 10 students from 36 students. The method used in collecting data by observation and field notes. The analysis of the data used quantitative and qualitative data. The results obtained through the implementation of group counseling services in overcoming the difficulties of learners class VII.D SMPN 2 North Sungkai Odd Semester Academic Year 2013/2014, is visible seen from the changes to learn and the ability of learners in understanding the subject matter, have the drive and the need to learn, to remember the subject matter well. Through group counseling services provided by the teacher BK can overcome the difficulties of learners grade class VII.D SMPN 2 North Sungkai Semester Odd Academic Year 2013/2014. There was a decrease of learning difficulties of students in the first cycle seen from the average percentage is 26.7% and the second cycle by 75%, leading to a decline in learning difficulties amounted to 48.3%.

Abstract

Spinach is a common vegetable that is popular with the community, calcium content reaches 368mg/100gr. Spinach includes family Amaranthaceae, Amaranthus clan that contains lots of water (herbaceous). The type of research is experimental research, the effect of giving dose variation. The study design was using Completely Randomized Design (RAL). Liquid Fertilizer LCN with several doses of control (0ml), A (150ml), B (200ml), and C (250ml). The result of analysis concludes that there is influence of LCN fertilizer to growth of red spinach, there is influence of LCN fertilizer can increase the calcium content of red spinach plant, there is influence of LCN fertilizer on growth and calcium level, and the result of research can be used as design of monograph based materials scientifically growth material and development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of information services using the method of NHT (numbered heads together) on the creativity of learners of class VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro year 2016/2017 year. The design of this research is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In the data collection in this study using questionnaires. Data analysis used is t test. Judging from the difference of change of result of average result of pre-test post-test of creativity learn equal to 9,9. Testing the hypothesis obtained t calculation = 9,446 > ttabel = 2.045 of significant 0.05 and degrees of freedom (db = N -1 = 30 -1 = 29). The conclusion of this research is information service using NHT method (numbered heads together) influence to creativity learners SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro TP. 2016/2017.
