Abstract

This study explores the discourse of hermeneutics as a method of interpretation of the "spirit of text". Hermeneutics as a method of interpretation cannot be separated from the three entities involved, namely; world of author, world of text, and world of readers. If one of the three main entities does not occur dialectical-combination and is even far from each other because of the time span, place and culture. As a consequence, the text becomes something foreign to the reader, even though in this case the "spirit of the text". The "spirit text" referred to in this paper is the holy text of religion (al-Qur'an). Based on the "eidetic" analysis, it turns out that there are still pros and cons from experts in the functioning of hermeneutics as a method of interpreting the "spirit of text" especially this is because the "spirit of the text" comes from an entity that is not the same as humans, namely God.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research analyzes the contribution of the ideology of secularism to the education system in Türkiye, highlighting significant changes since the Kemal Atatürk era until the present. Methodology: This study employs a literature review method to investigate the impact of secularism on Turkey’s education system. This approach involves gathering and analyzing a range of sources, including books, academic articles, and both national and international journals related to secularism. Main Findings: The findings of this research provide an understanding of the impact of secularism on the paradigm shift that was previously oriented towards religious values towards a modern secular education model that is more open to developments in science and technology. As well as increasing access to education for women and minority groups, the emergence of fierce debate regarding the role of religion in public life, in addition to the hopes for its development prospects in the contemporary era. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of secularism's impact on Türkiye’s education system, offering new insights into the evolution of secular policies and their effects on social and educational inclusivity. It contributes to the understanding of secularism's role in contemporary educational reform and debates on religion's place in public life.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of learning methods in China and Egypt by emphasizing the approaches used, the challenges faced, and their implications for the educational process. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using literature study techniques and comparative analysis. The research results show that China focuses more on technology and innovation-based learning, with a strong implementation of digital education, while Egypt prioritizes traditional learning methods based on a more conservative teaching system. Challenges faced in China include the digital divide and limited access to technology in some remote areas, while in Egypt the challenges are more related to slow education system reform and a lack of resources. The implications of these two approaches affect learning effectiveness, where China adapts more quickly to global developments, while Egypt still requires significant adjustments to achieve a more modern educational transformation. This study provides insight into how individual countries can capitalize on strengths and address weaknesses in their learning systems to achieve optimal educational outcomes. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan metode pembelajaran di China dan Mesir dengan menekankan pada pendekatan yang digunakan, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta implikasinya terhadap proses pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi literatur dan analisis komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa China lebih berfokus pada pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan inovasi, dengan penerapan pendidikan digital yang kuat, sementara Mesir lebih mengedepankan metode pembelajaran tradisional yang didasarkan pada sistem pengajaran yang lebih konservatif. Tantangan yang dihadapi di China mencakup kesenjangan digital dan keterbatasan akses teknologi di beberapa wilayah terpencil, sedangkan di Mesir tantangannya lebih berkaitan dengan reformasi sistem pendidikan yang lambat dan kurangnya sumber daya. Implikasi dari kedua pendekatan ini mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran, di mana China lebih cepat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan global, sementara Mesir masih memerlukan penyesuaian yang signifikan untuk mencapai transformasi pendidikan yang lebih modern. Studi ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana masing-masing negara dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan dan mengatasi kelemahan dalam sistem pembelajaran mereka untuk mencapai hasil pendidikan yang optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to compare academic competence in the field of scientific writing between Indonesian and Sudanese students. Scientific writing is an important aspect in developing students' academic abilities, which reflects the quality of understanding, analysis and scientific communication skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The research results show that overall, the academic competence of Indonesian students in the field of scientific work tends to be superior to that of Sudanese students, especially in terms of research methodology, writing quality, and access to international scientific resources. This is due to a more developed curriculum, better educational infrastructure, as well as more adequate technological support and facilities in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Sudanese students still face various challenges, including limited access to academic resources and more limited quality of methodological training. Nevertheless, Sudan continues to strive to improve the quality of higher education and academic competence through various policies and programs that support the development of research and scientific writing. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kompetensi akademik bidang karya tulis ilmiah antara mahasiswa Indonesia dan Sudan. Karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan kemampuan akademik mahasiswa, yang mencerminkan kualitas pemahaman, analisis, dan kemampuan komunikasi ilmiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, kompetensi akademik mahasiswa Indonesia dalam bidang karya ilmiah cenderung lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa Sudan, terutama dalam hal metodologi penelitian, kualitas penulisan, dan akses ke sumber daya ilmiah internasional. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurikulum yang lebih berkembang, infrastruktur pendidikan yang lebih baik, serta dukungan teknologi dan fasilitas yang lebih memadai di Indonesia. Sementara itu, mahasiswa Sudan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber daya akademik dan kualitas pelatihan metodologi yang lebih terbatas. Meskipun demikian, Sudan terus berusaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dan kompetensi akademik melalui berbagai kebijakan dan program yang mendukung pengembangan penelitian dan penulisan ilmiah.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to provide an extensive portrait of the objectives of global citizenship education (GCE) in Norway, which is increasingly important amid globalization challenges. The background of this study highlights the need for individuals to be sensitive to global issues such as climate change, social inequality, and international conflicts. The method used in this research is literature study, involving the collection and analysis of various written sources, including academic journals, government reports, and relevant educational policy documents. The findings indicate that Norway has successfully integrated global values into its educational curriculum through an interdisciplinary approach. However, challenges such as insufficient teacher training, resource limitations, and the need to balance global values with local identities still need to be addressed to ensure the success of global citizenship education in the future. Keywords: Portrait, Global Citizenship Education, Globalization Challenges, Norwegia. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan potret ekstensif tujuan pendidikan kewarganegaraan global (PKG) di Norwegia, yang semakin penting di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Latar belakang penelitian ini menyoroti kebutuhan akan individu yang peka terhadap isu-isu global, seperti perubahan iklim, ketidaksetaraan sosial, dan konflik internasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber tertulis, termasuk jurnal akademik, laporan pemerintah, dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Norwegia telah berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai global ke dalam kurikulum pendidikannya melalui pendekatan lintas disiplin. Namun, tantangan seperti pelatihan guru yang masih kurang, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan perlunya keseimbangan antara nilai-nilai global dan identitas lokal masih perlu diatasi untuk memastikan keberhasilan pendidikan kewarganegaraan global di masa depan.Kata Kunci : Potret, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Global, , Tantangan Globalisasi, Norwegia.

Abstract

Historisitas Evolusi Eropa telah melalui berbagai tahap yang saling terkait dari segi politik, ekonomi, dan sosial. Pada zaman kuno, Eropa dihuni oleh peradaban-peradaban besar seperti Yunani dan Romawi. Peradaban Yunani memberikan kontribusi penting dalam perkembangan pemikiran demokrasi, filsafat, dan seni. Penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan sebagai kombinasi antara deskriptif dan analitis. Di satu sisi, penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-analitis, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kondisi pendidikan di Andalusia dan bagaimana hal itu berkontribusi pada identitas Eropa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan di Eropa menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan dari sistem pendidikan tradisional menuju model yang lebih inklusif dan berbasis siswa. Begitu juga Spanyol, pendidikan telah mengalami transformasi, dan aksesibilitas menuju pendidikan berkualitas di seluruh negeri. Sedangkan Andalusia, sebagai bagian dari Spanyol, menerapkan kebijakan yang mendukung pendidikan inklusif dan pendekatan pedagogis inovatif, seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan program bilingual. Model pendidikan di Andalusia mencerminkan upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lokal sambil tetap beradaptasi dengan standar pendidikan Eropa yang lebih luas, memastikan bahwa semua siswa memiliki kesempatan untuk berkembang secara optimal. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan pluralisme agama terhadap pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah menengah tingkat atas di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan siswa, guru, dan orang tua dari berbagai latar belakang agama. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama yang dihadapi termasuk radikalisasi pemahaman agama, kurikulum yang kaku, dan sikap intoleran di kalangan siswa. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan pendekatan pengajaran yang inklusif, penyediaan sumber belajar yang variatif, dan pelatihan untuk guru. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan agama yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat yang plural. Kata kunci: Pluralisme Agama Pendidikan Agama Islam Sekolah Menengah Toleransi Inklusivitas Abstract:This study examines the challenges of religious pluralism on Islamic education in senior high schools in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, the research involves students, teachers, and parents from various religious backgrounds. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the main challenges include the radicalization of religious understanding, rigid curricula, and intolerant attitudes among students. To address these challenges, an inclusive teaching approach, diverse learning resources, and teacher training are essential. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a curriculum that is more relevant to the needs of a pluralistic society. Abstract

The industrial revolution 5.0 necessitates a super-smart society for all elements of society, including the world of vocational education in Indonesia in the 21st century. Because the era of industrial revolution 5.0 has the consequence of a skilled workforce who is familiar with various digital technologies as well as opportunities for vocational education in Indonesia.  Indonesia has prospects in developing vocational education, because it is supported by the following factors; First, the government has paid greater attention to the development of vocational education through various policies and programs. Second, the business world is increasingly realizing the importance of collaborating with vocational education institutions to obtain competent human resources. Third, public interest in vocational education is increasing along with awareness of wider job opportunities. Through the descriptive-analysis method, it was found that in order to realize the prospects for a 21st century vocational education system, the Indonesian government is strengthening cooperation with various industrial worlds (DUDI), fulfilling practicum instruments, and updating the vocational curriculum to adapt to the needs of industry 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internationalization practices and permeability of the Swiss higher education system. Through a literature review and case studies, this research reveals how Switzerland has succeeded in building an open and inclusive higher education system for international students. The research results show that Switzerland has implemented various strategies to increase the permeability of its higher education system, including: (1) offering diverse and high-quality study programs in various languages, (2) facilitating the mobility of students and staff, (3) establishing collaborations with universities and research institutions throughout the world, and (4) creating a multicultural learning environment. This study concludes that the successful internationalization of the Swiss higher education system can be a model for other countries wishing to improve the quality and competitiveness of their higher education at the global level. However, further research is needed to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by Switzerland in maintaining and improving its position as an attractive study destination for international Student

Abstract

Egypt  has played an  important role  in  the  history of  the Middle East region from ancient times to the modern era. This  research  aims  to trace the historical development of Egypt in the context of the region, with a focus on Egypt's contribution as  an influential initiator of political, social and  cultural  thought in  the  Middle  East  as  well  as  the emergence  of  criticism  of  Egypt's  role  from  internal and external  perspectives.  Through  historiographic  analysis and primary  source  research,  this research  examines key periods  such  as  the  Ancient  Pharaohs,  the  Islamic  era, European colonialism, the rise of Egyptian nationalism, as well  as  Egypt's  role  in  contemporary  Middle  Eastern politics. This  research  reveals  that Egypt  is  not only  the center  of  ancient  civilization,  but  also  continues  to transform  into  a  major  power  in  the  Middle  East,  both through  modernist  ideologies  such  as  pan-Arabism, Nasserism, and as a major player in international relations in the region. However, Egypt's historical journey has also been  marked  by  criticism  from  neighboring countries as well  as  internal  groups  regarding  Egypt's  policies  on political and  social  issues.  This  research  contributes  to enriching the  understanding of  Egyptian  history  and  its relevance in the dynamics of the Middle East, providing a new  perspective on  the relationship between Egypt as  an initiator of change and a critic of its regional role.
