Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an effective and fun creative active learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students. The research method used was a survey method and used simple correlation and regression analysis techniques, multiple regression and correlation. This research was conducted at SDN Pondok Kelapa 05 Pagi Jakarta, using the cluster sampling technique. Based on this research, it is expected that the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students can be improved by using active creative learning model that is effective and fun to be significant determinants. Based on the t-test analysis, it was obtained that t count was 2.61 and t table was 1.69 meaning that there was a positive contribution between the active, creative, effective and fun learning model variables and the learning outcomes of mathematics because tcount> t table was 2.61> 1.69. The coefficient of determination is 0.1672, which explains that 16.72% of the variance of the mathematics learning achievement variable is explained or determined by the active creative learning model which is effective and fun. Thus, it can be concluded that the creative active learning model approach is effective and fun to improve mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

In the Mathematic learning at SDN Lebak Bulus 04 Cilandak, South Jakarta, using the JARIMATIKA technical drawing tools has not been fully applied, which has resulted many students from class of III to V have not memorized the multiplication above number 5 (five). This becomes a concern both teachers and parents, and for students, they sometimes feel afraid and reluctant, also tend to avoid Mathematic subject specifically on basic multiplication competency. Mathematic subject is very broad and complex, however the multiplication, division, addition and subtraction (KA-BA_TA-KU) are the main keys in arithmetic operations, and because the students are not yet skilled enough in these four arithmetic operations, so more than 30% of each class has not been mastery which means has not reached school’s Minimum Mastery Criteria of 6.8. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes and attract students' learning interest by using the JARIMATIKA Technical Drawing Tools.  The research was carried out in 2 (two) cycles and preceded by a pre-cycle stage, while each cycle consisted of 3 (three) meetings. From the pre-cycle stage to the first and second cycles there was an increase in the results of class III-A students particularly at the end of the second cycle. This greatly affected students‘ learning interest and spiritual satisfaction for the researcher that this finger as God’s gift turns out is still underused, therefore  researcher feels grateful that by applying this JARIMATIKA technique idea properly, the result is significant. Hopefully teacher and researcher can develop these teaching tools evenly and maximally in classes of III, IV and V, so that Mathematic is no longer an avoided subject. Keyword: mathematic, JARITMATIKA, multiplication.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the activities of the implementation of industrial work practices (prakerin) SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang Regency and determine the response of the Business World / Industrial World (DUDI) to the competence of students at the time of the implementation of the SMK YPIB Tanjungsari in Sumedang Regency. This type of research is qualitative which produces descriptive data. The research was conducted at SMK YPIB Tanjungsari, Sumedang Regency and DUDI as a pre-engineering partner institution. Data collection is done by document analysis, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis is carried out inductively. The results showed: 1) the implementation of industrial work practices in SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang Regency managed by the working group (Pokja) apprenticeship in charge of preparing all administrative tools needed for the implementation of internship; 2) the implementation of the internship is carried out in four stages, the first stage is preparation, the second briefing, the third implementation, the fourth withdrawal and evaluation; 3) DUDI's response to the implementation of the YTPIB Tanjungsari Vocational Training prakerin of Sumedang RegencyKeywords: Management prakerin, Graduates Competence AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan pelaksanaan praktek kerja industri (prakerin) SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Kabupaten Sumedang dan mengetahui tanggapan Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri (DUDI) terhadap kompetensi peserta didik pada saat pelaksanaan prakerin SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Kabupaten Sumedang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Kabupaten Sumedang dan DUDI sebagai institusi pasangan prakerin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan analisis dokumen, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) pelaksanaan praktek kerja industri SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Kabupaten Sumedang dikelola oleh kelompok kerja (Pokja) prakerin yang bertugas menyiapkan seluruh perangkat administrasi yang diperlukan untuk pelaksanaan prakerin; 2) pelaksanaan prakerin dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap, tahap pertama ialah persiapan, kedua pembekalan, ketiga pelaksanaan, keempat penarikan dan evaluasi; 3) tanggapan DUDI terhadap pelaksanaan prakerin SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Kabupaten SumedangKata Kunci: Manajemen Prakerin, Kompetensi Lulusan

Abstract

Pandemic of Covid-19 outbreak has fundamentally replaced the paradigm of education. The teaching learning activity opens up to out of classroom through technology application. Then, this study was aimed to explore the teacher’s perspective to the implementation of online teaching and learning. This research used descriptive qualitative design. Thirty-three teachers were involved in this study. The questionnaire was conducted to investigate the teachers’ perception. Based on the findings, it showed that teachers argued that the teaching media becomes more interactive through many online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meeting, Google classroom, and WhatsApp. Then, teaching via teleconference improve teachers’ skills as well as their confidence because they can present the teaching material and classroom activities creatively. Having said that, teachers face several challenges during online teaching. First, teachers have problem to interact with students due to they tend to be passive during video conference.  Then, some students have badly internet connection. Last, the students are lack of learning motivation such as often absence and lately to submit the assignment.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru-guru SMP Negeri 10 Tambun Selatan khususnya kompetensi dalam merencanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, dan penilaian terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran peserta didik. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 orang guru SMP Negeri 10 Tambun Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan sekolah model Kemmis yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari instrumen kompetensi pedagogik guru. Hasil penelitian diperoleh data hasil penilaian terhadap Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang telah guru buat diperoleh skor rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 81,70 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 91,26, penilaian praktik pelaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh skor rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 80,30 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92,88, dan penilaian kemampuan guru terhadap hasil pembelajaran peserta didik diperoleh skor rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 85,33 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92,93. Perolehan skor tersebut menunjukkan bahwa indikator keberhasilan penelitian telah tercapai. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah melalui supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Negeri 10 Tambun Selatan. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogik, Guru, Supervisi Akademik

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes mathematics of equation and quadratic function through cooperative learning model of making a match in class IX.B Junior High School 10 South Tambun, Bekasi. The research subjects were 37 students of IX.B from Junior High School 10 South Tambun Bekasi. The research method used is the Kemmis model school action research which consists of two cycles. Data collection techniques in the research were obtained from tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained by the test result data evaluation of learning that have increased each cycle, the test results obtained pre-cycle average value of 72,08 with mastery learning 45,95%, which has increased in the cycle I average value of 77,84 with mastery learning 70,27%, which has increased in the cycle II average value of 80,54 with mastery learning 91,89%. This study concludes that a cooperative learning model of making a match can improve learning outcomes mathematics of equation and quadratic function in class IX.B Junior High School 10 South Tambun Bekasi.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic era has an impact on government policies to carry out learning from home. The low ability of students to think critically makes the learning process not optimal, therefore it is necessary to use the blended-Problem Based Learning learning model as an effort to increase students' critical thinking skills during the Covid-19 period. The method used is classroom action research with a sample of 77 seventh semester students in the subject of creativity and giftedness in the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education, Bengkulu University. The initial critical thinking ability of students was included in the very good category with only a percentage of 4%, in the very poor category with a percentage of 31% after the implementation of the first cycle and the second cycle it was found that the students' critical thinking ability was included in the very good category with a percentage of 13%. While in the very poor category with a percentage of 9%. From these data it can be concluded that the use of the blended-Problem Based Learning learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the effects of the effects of emotional intelligence toward mathematic achievement at senior high school in east jakarta.  This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method. The data were analyzed using regression techniques to test the hypothesis. Sample of the research was 450 students which was detemined by using random sampling technique.  The result show that: there was direct effect of emotional intelligence toward  mathematic achievement. Thus, it is expected that all teachers are always trying to develop their teaching competencies in various ways by involving multiple intelligence specially emotional intelligence to achieve better students mathematic performance.   Keywords: emotional intelligence and mathematic achievement ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika di SMA di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik regresi untuk menguji hipotesis. Sampel penelitian adalah 450 siswa yang diperoleh dengan teknik random sampling.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat pengaruh langsung kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Dengan demikian, diharapkan semua guru selalu berusaha mengembangkan kompetensi mengajar mereka dengan berbagai cara dengan melibatkan kecerdasan majemuk khususnya kecerdasan emosional untuk mencapai hasil matematika siswa yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci : kecerdasan spiritual, kecerdasan emosional, dan kecerdasan sosial hasil belajar matematika

Abstract

This study aims to find out the increase of student’s ability in mathematical exploration, learning completeness, and the relationship between mathematical exploration abilities and students' self-confidence in the application of the probing prompting learning model. This is an experimental research method with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data was collected by giving a test about mathematical exploration abilities and a questionnaire on self-confidence. The results of the study by applying the probing prompting learning model showed that there was an increase on student’s mathematical exploration ability at 0.806 with a high category. Students’ self-confidence achievement showed that there was no tendency towards the established self-confidence indicators. The achievement of individual learning completeness was ?75% and classical learning completeness was ? 75% in average. There is a relationship between mathematical exploration abilities and student self-confidence, the correlation coefficient is 0.204 with weak criteria.

Abstract

Abstract; Building an educated, intelligent society, like it or not, we have to change the paradigm in the learning system. A learning system is needed that can accommodate the aspirations of all groups of society. The quality of distance learning methods (Distence Learning) is often echoed when learning specializes in independence. In this case the educator does not need to convey material in one room. The innovation step in using network technology and information technology for the development of learning systems in higher education is the online lecture system. This type of learning can be carried out at the same time or at different times. With the PJJ (Distence Learning) system, it becomes flexible for students to study wherever they are. This makes it possible to match education with responsibility and commitment in all matters. Provide opportunities for students who are unable to learn due to limitations in distance, time, cost, and age.Keywords: Quality of learning, Distance Learning
