Abstract

The difficulty in writing neatness faced by one of the IX graders who has mild mental retardation is the background of this research. Services are needed to improve the neatness of children's writing. The purpose of this study is to use a three-line book as a medium to help children's writing become more presentable. With the A-B-A design, this study uses the Single Subject Research (SSR) methodology. This study was conducted for 14 sessions, with the baseline condition (A1) (the child's initial condition) receiving 4 meetings, the intervention condition (B) receiving 6 meetings, and the baseline condition (A2) (the final condition condition) receiving 4 meetings. An approach to collecting data that involves testing and documentation. The research findings at baseline (A1) were 46.67%, 46.67%, 46.67%, and 46.67%. Meetings on intervention (B) were 80%, 86.67%, 93%, 86.67%, 86.67%, and 93%. At baseline (A2) the percentages of assessment were 86.67%, 80%, 73.33%, and 73.33%. Based on the results of the research, the media of three-lined books can improve the neatness of writing for children with mild mental retardation in grade IX.

Abstract

This busy book media is used to determine the effectiveness of busy book media on children's ability to add without saving for deaf children in class V SDLB. This is experimental research form Single Subject Research (SSR) with Multiple Baseline Across Subjects Design. The subjects in this study were deaf children in class V SDLB. Research variables increase the ability to add without saving. Data collection techniques used are tests and data collection tools in the form of test items. Graphical visual analysis is a data analysis technique used in this study. The results of the research and discussion explain that the ability to add without storing in children has increased during the intervention in the form of busy book media. It has been proven that there is an increase in the summation ability from the baseline phase to the intervention phase where the results of the trend of stability mean level A1 in the first subject (K) is 2.75 then there is an increase when given intervention B where the mean level is 5.33 and in the second subject ( Q) the results obtained that the mean level stability trend of A1 was 3.4 then there was an increase when given intervention B where the mean level was 4.7. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in each condition which means the child is able to do addition without saving.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of online learning for GSA children. Learning that is usually carried out face-to-face has been turned into online learning. GSA children find it difficult to understand online learning without parental assistance. This study aims to determine the parents' perception of the implementation of online learning for children with GSA. The research method is a qualitative narrative study, the subjects in the study are the parents of GSA children. Data were collected through interviews and documentation studies. Wet data technique through triangulation, using reference materials and checking. The results showed that parents' perceptions of the implementation of online learning were in parents' perceptions of the preparation stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage and constraints. Preparation of parents is to prepare infrastructure and facilities. Parents' perceptions of the implementation stage are accompanying children from the start of learning to completion of learning. Parents' perception of the evaluation stage is that the teacher gives assignments in writing and orally. Parents' perceptions of the constraints are personal constraints, technical constraints, implementation constraints and financial constraints.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai media balok Cuisenaire dalam meningkatkan kemampuan operasi penjumlahan maksimal 20 bagi anak Tunagrahita Ringan di kelas VI SLB Kumala Indah.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari II siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan guru kelas sebagai pelaksana tindakan dan peneliti sebagai pengamat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan anak di setiap siklusnya meningkat. Nilai yang diperoleh RSS pada tindakan siklus I yaitu 70%, dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai 95%. Sementara CM memperoleh nilai 60% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai sebesar 85%, dan selanjutnya RL pada siklus I memperoleh nilai sebanyak 65% dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil pada siklus II, ketiga anak sudah mencapai nilai KKM yang ditentukan yaitu sebesar 60, maka disimpulkan bahwa media balok Cuisenaire dapat meningkatkan kemampuan operasi penjumlahan maksimal 20.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diangkat dari permasalahan yang penenliti temukan di SLB 1 Padang Panjang. Pada penelitian ini penulis mengungkapkan tentang seorang anak cerebral palsy tipe spastik dimana pada kemampuan pra menulisnya masih rendah, hal ini ditandai dengan kesulitan anak dalam menggerakkan otot-ototnya, sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan pada bidang akademik dalam kemampuan menulisnya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis anak dengan menggunakan pasir kinetik bagi cerebral palsy tipe spastik. Metode yang digunakan single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A . Tes menggunakan tes perbuatan kemampuan pra menulis yaitu menugaskan anak membuat garis horizontal, vertikal, garis miring kekanan dan kekiri, garis lengkung ke atas, kebawah, kekanan dan kekiri, menuliskan huruf c, i, n, v, z dan menulis nama panggilan sendiri. Hasil analisis data diperoleh yaitu pada A1 dengan pengamatan selama empat hari anak dalam pra menulisnya diperoleh hasil 28%. Pada keadaan B anak diberikan tindakan dalam kemampuan pra menulisnya menggunakan media pasir kinetik dengan pelaksanaan selama tujuh hari diperoleh hasil 78%. Kemudian pada A2 dilaksanakan selama empat hari tanpa adanya perlakuan lagi menggunakan media pasir kinetik diperoleh hasil 78%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pasir kinetik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis pada anak cerebal palsy.

Abstract

This research motivated by problems in class VIII of the Deaf at SMPLB Painan in the skills to plant celery due to the lack of skills in applying make-up. The purpose of the research is to describe the learning process through the explicit instruction method, and to find out whether the explicit instruction method can improve skills of applying make-up.The results showed that the process of learning skills using the explicit instruction method was carried out in two cycles. Cycle I with four meetings. Each cycle begins with planning, implementation observation, analysis and reflection.The results of self-makeup skills using make-up using the explicit instruction method showed increase. This seen from the data before the action of the child's ability to do 12 STEPS, namely: RK 37% and MD 35%. Meanwhile, at the end of the first cycle, RK's ability increased by 37%, 45%, 50%, 58% and MD 35%, 41%, 45%, 54%. In the second cycle, RK's ability increased to 65%, 75%, 87%, 91% and MD 62%, 75%, 83%, 87%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dua peserta didik yang mengalami masalah dalam keterampilan membuat dimsum udang. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa siswa memiliki minat dan bakat yang baik dalam membuat dimsum udang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membuat dimsum udang melalui metode demonstrasi terbimbing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan  yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian memunjukaan pembelajaran ketrampilan membuat dimsum udang untuk anak tunagrahita ringan kelas VII dilakukan melalui demonstrasi terbimbing Hasi penelitian pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan. Pada pertemuan pertama sampai pertemuan keempat NH mendapat skor 50 %, 55%, 65% sedangkan AD mendapatkan nilai 60%, 65%, 75% Pada siklus II NH mendapatkan skor 75 %, 85% dan 90 %, sedangkan AD 80%, 90% dan 95%. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan membuat dimsum udang dapat meningkat melalui metode demonstrasi terbimbing.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of parental guidance in training children with Down syndrome who excel in playing the drums. The purpose of this study is to describe how the guidance given by parents to children with Down syndrome who excels and also as a reference for other parents who have children with special needs, especially children with Down syndrome. This study uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that as parents of children with Down syndrome have a big and extra responsibility in educating and training children and being able to support and develop the skills of children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa tunagrahita dalam menulis kalimat sederhana dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Adapun permasalahan yang menyebabkan siswa tunagrahita belum mampu untuk menulis kalimat sederhana adalah dikarenakan penggunaan metode pembelajaran sebelumnya. Sehingga pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan media digital sebagai media pembelajaran dalam menulis kalimat sederhana. Adapun penelitian yang dilakukan adalah berupa penelitian tindakan kelas dengan siswa tunagrahita kelas lima di SLB N 2 kota Jambi sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklusnya diadakan sebanyak empat kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa media digital mampu memberikan hasil pembelajaran yang cukup signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis kalimat sederhana. Hal ini diketahui dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada setiap pertemuan yang telah dilakukan

Abstract

This study examines the connection between social perception and future teachers' self-efficacy when teaching students with disabilities.The Likert Scale questionnaire was distributed via Google form for data collection, and the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social perception variables and self-efficacy in teaching students with disabilities. This is a correlational quantitative study. Using Spearman's Rank correlation, correlation tests were conducted. These results had a significance of 0.007.This study found that the significance level of 0.05 (0.007  0.05) was not met with a significance value of 0.007.Therefore, it is possible to draw the conclusion that self-efficacy in teaching students with disabilities to Padang State University's Department of Primary Teacher Education students in the 2019 admissions year is related to the social perception of those students.
