Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem that there are five deaf people, deaf children experience obstacles in their activities, are not independent and still need help from others. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of Dwiwatch Vider to improve the discipline of time for deaf children. This study used an experimental method with pre-experimental design or often called a quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design The results of the study showed that Dwiwatch Vider was effective in increasing the discipline of time for deaf children

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan anak tunagrahita ringan yang belum mengenal huruf hijaiyah yang peneliti temukan di SLB Salsabila Indah Padang. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak tunagrahita ringan dalam mengenal huruf hijaiyah melalui model pembelajaran quantum teaching. Jenis penelitian ini eksperimen dalam bentuk subjek tunggal (Single Subject Research) dengan desain penelitian A1-B-A2, data diukur mengunakan frekuensi untuk melihat berapa banyak anak dapat menjawab tes tentang mengenal huruf hijaiyah yang diberikan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf hijaiyah bagi anak tunagrahita ringan kelas III di SLB Salsabilla Indah Padang sesuai dengan hasil analisis data dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi.

Abstract

This research aim to know which the waste has the big effect to increase the growth of coffee Robusta seedlings. The experiment has been conducted at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture. The experimental unit was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design with 6 treatments of waste fermentation ie without waste (L0), LCPKS (L1), tofu waste (L2), cow urine (L3), waste of reeds (L4), Banana skin waste (L5).Parameters observed were height increment (cm), number of leafesincrement, increase of stem diameter (cm), leaf area (cm2), dry weight of plant (g), and root canopy ratio. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and the mean of each treatment was compared with Test of Honest Real Difference at 5% level.The results showed that the treatment of fermentation of tofuwaste  gave a best effect in increasing the growth of robusta coffee seeds aged 3-6 months.. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and get the best microwave radiation period to control the pathogenic fungus of rice seeds while maintaining viability and seed vigor. This research was conducted in Plant Disease Laboratory, Plant Ecophysical Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty and Synthesis Organic Laboratory Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences University of Riau, Pekanbaru in February 2018. The study was using complete randomized design (RAL). The parameters observed were kind of seed born pathogenic fungus, incidence of seed born pathogenic fungus, seed viability and vigor through seed germination test, first count test and index value test. The detection results indicate that the isolate of the suspected pathogenic fungus of rice seed was Rhizoctonia sp. (isolate PK-1 and PK-7), Pyricularia sp. (isolate PK-3), Curvularia sp. (isolate PK-5 and PK-9) and unidentified fungus (isolate PK-2, PK-4, PK-6 and PK-8). The total incidence of fungi from rice seed on 60 seconds of radiation effectively reduced the incidence percentage to 38% lower than the duration of other radiation and without radiation. Radiation treatment for 15 seconds was the best treatment obtained because it was able to suppress the incidence percentage by 84.67% with a 92% seed germination, 49.67% first count sprout and 1.5%/etmal speed sprout.Keywords: microwaves,radiation period, rice seeds, seed born pathogenic fungus, seed germination

Abstract

The purpose of this research effect in interaction sawdust ash and NPK Mg compound fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings and to get the best combination for the growth of oil palm seedlings phase main nursery. This research was conducted in the experimental field and Laboratory of Production Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau in Campus Binawidya Km 12.5 Simpang BaruPekanbaru. Have been implemented from Desember 2015 to Maret 2016.The research used Completely Randomized Design factorial that consisting of two factors. The first factor is sawdust ash(A) consists of four levels. The second factor is the NPK Mg fertilizer (N), which consists of 3 levels. Parametersmeasured were : seedling height increment,increase of leaves number, increase of hump diameter, root volume,seedling weight dry, ratio crown and root.Data obtained from the research results were statistically analyzed by analysis of variance followed by a further test of Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5%. The results showed giving sawdust ash and NPK Mg compound fertilizer no interaction in all parameters the observation of oil palm seedling except ratio crown and root.Keywords : sawdust ash. Abstract

The aim of this research is to know combination of medium and Trichoazolla compost dosage which can increase the growth of oil palm seedlings in main nursery and determine the best combination of Trichoazolla compost dosage and medium for growth of oil palm seedlings in main nursery. This research uses Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of two factors, the first factor is planting medium consisting of three medium peat level, ultisol medium and mixed peat and ultisol (1: 1). The second factor was Trichoazolla compost consisting of Trichoazolla compost dose 0 g / plant, 75 g / plant, 100 g / plant, 125 g / plant, 150 g / plant. Of the two factors, we got 15 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The parameters measured were the height increase of seedlings, the increase of the number of leaves, the increase of seedling diameter, root canopy ratios, dry weight of seedlings, palm seed oil quality index. The results showed that the growth of oil palm seedlings on peat, ultisol and mixed peat moss with ultisol composted with Trichoazolla 75 g / plant-150 g / plant, was better than without Trichoazolla compost and was able to achieve the standard of seed quality, while Mixed medium composted Trichoazolla compound nutrient seed quality index. Composting of Trichoazolla in peat, ultisol and peat and ultisol combinations may increase seedling height, increase in number of leaves, increase in diameter of tubers in oil palm seedlings.Keyword : Trichoazolla, land and ultisol, oil palm, main nursery

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan di kelas VII/B di SLB Perwari Padang. Dimana media pembelajaran yang diberikan guru dikelas belum mencapai hasil yang baik bagi hasil belajar anak khususnya pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam tentang mengenal bagian tumbuhan. Guru masih menggunakan metode yang biasa tanpa ada media alternatif yang lain digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Selain itu, kurangnya ketertarikan anak terhadap metode yang diberikan oleh guru di kelas. Oleh sebab itu, permasalahan yang akan di kaji dalam penelitian ini adalah, “Apakah penggunaan media Visual Schedule efektiv digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bagian tumbuhan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam bagi anak dengan hambatan pendengaran di kelas VII/B SLB Perwari Padang?” Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental design), dengan tujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh dan sekaligus perbedaan antara dua variabel yang berbeda. Rancangan penelitian yang di gunakan adalah The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas VII/B dengan jumlah siswa 4 orang. Untuk pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan statistik uji Mann Whitney dengan taraf signifikan 5%( =0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest yang diperoleh adalah 2,75 sedangkan hasil posttest yang diperoleh adalah 7, dari kedua hasil tersebut dapat diperoleh peningkatan skor setelah di berikan treatment adalah sebanyak 4,25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal bagian tumbuhan yang di belajarkan dengan menggunakan media Visual Schedule memperoleh kenaikan yang signifikan. Dapat di simpulkan bahwa media Visual Schedule efektiv digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bagian tumbuhan pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran.

Abstract

Kabupaten Kampar merupakan satu diantara beberapa sentra penanaman padi di Provinsi Riau. Kendala dalam melaksanakan budidaya tanaman padi yang masih ditemukan diantaranya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan petani tentang teknik budidaya dan pengendalian penyakit pada tanaman padi. Tujuan kegiatan ini ialah untuk mendorong petani agar dapat membuat biofungisida berbahan aktif konsorsium Trichoderma virens dan Pseudomonad berflourescens dalam formulasi Biofungisida Plus untuk pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit yang menyerang tanaman padi. Kegiatan pemberdayaan petani di Desa Sawah melalui penerapan teknologi pengendalian penyakit tanaman padi dengan biofungisida plus dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan Model Community Development. Pada metode ini secara langsung dilibatkan sebagai subyek dan obyek dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini diantaranya ialah, masyarakat bersedia untuk menerapkan teknologi Biofungisida Plus di lahan sawahnya. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner juga diketahui pemahaman dan wawasan petani bertambah setelah diperkenalkan dengan Teknologi Biofungisida Plus ini. Aplikasi Biofungisida Plus di lahan petani menunjukkan kondisi tanaman yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan teknik budidaya yang biasa digunakan oleh petani.

Abstract

The use of Guano fertilizer in the cultivation of mustard plant in the soil of Inceptisol is the part of effort organic fertilizer giving that come from bat feces. This fertilizer is espected to improve the mustard growth, because it has function as the source of nutrient and it is able to improve the physical and biological properties of soil. The research was carried out on the experimental station, Fakulty of Agriculture, University of Riau on March-April 2018, by using a completely randomized design with the treatment of Guano fertilizer dosage (0, 300, 600, 900, 1.200) g.m-2. The growth observed was plant height, number and area of heaves, total plant weight and weight of plant suitable for consumption. The result showed that giving of Guano fertilizer effect on parameter of plant height, number and area of leaves, total weight and weight of plant suitable for comsumption. The best treatment was obtained a dose of 1.200 g.m-2 and it was able to increase the yield by 48,92 % compared to without being given Guano.Key word :Mustard plant, Guano fertilizer, Yields

Abstract

White root fungus (Rigidoporus microporus) is a major pathogen in the rubber plant that is difficult to control because it has a structure that survives in plant tissue.  Biological control of endophytic fungi is very potential to control  Mushrooms JAP.  This research was conducted at Plant Disease Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Riau University and Photomikografi Laboratory, FMIPA Organic Chemistry Laboratory Department of Biology, University of Riau, Simpang Baru Campus Tampan District, Pekanbaru.  Starting from March to June 2017 with the aim of Identification of morphological cultivation of endophytic fungi and In-Vitro microbial test on Rigidoporus microporus in rubber plant.  The study consisted of site survey, sampling, tool sterilization, PDA & PDB media manufacture, fungi isolation, rubber plant tissue incubation, purification and observation. Based on the results of isolation and identification of endophytic fungi from plant tissue obtained 3 isolates where there are 2 types of Aspergilus SP fungus and 1 type of Trichoderma sp.  All three isolates are potential endophytic fungi to control JAP disease in rubber. Hypovirulensi test results did not produce symptoms of chlorosis or necrosis after inoculated Trichoderma 48 hours after incubation. Observation of secondary metabolite Trichoderma sp endophytes after 14 days incubated in a petridish showed metabolite results with a mean of 0.75 cm clear zone. Keywords: Rigidoporus microporus, Identification, Endophytic Fungi
