Abstract

The fairy tale of Our Mother is a Cat, none of the children have ever met the storybook in comical form. So that children are very less interested in reading it, because there is only writing and at least pictures so that it becomes less interesting. The comics in this book are intended as the main media to convey the contents of the moral message contained in the comics with an attractive visual appearance. The method used is the 4D method. 4D development model consists of four stages namely: Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. This comic book is assisted by other media such as wall clocks, tumbler, key chain, sticker, poster, flayers, , Instagram, cergam digital.Keywords: Book, Picture Story, Folk Story, Jambi.

Abstract

The design of this film is based on the fact that in the city of Pariaman there are still many  juvenile delinquencies that occur. Kota Pariaman does not yet have the means of information on what businesses have been done by some figures to overcome juvenile delinquency. The Darak Badarak art community, a music community located in the city of Pariaman, has members aged between 12-17 years. The Darak Badarak art community has recruited members from school dropouts and children who have an interest in playing music. The Darak Badarak art community is a little  gradually have succeeded in achieving achievements and improving the character of children who have been given learning during activities in the community, both in playing music training activities and other activities. This design aims to design audio-visual media in the form of short films, this film is designed to convey to society is an efficient way to tackle juvenile delinquency. This short film is designed based on the history of the establishment and the process that the Darak Badarak art community has gone through with dramatized reconstructions so that the public is interested and easily understands the information presented. Qualitative. This short film is designed using the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate (4D) method, this method is used to facilitate the design in bringing out the creative and the production process. The expected design result is a short film with a historical background and the process that has been passed by the art community of DarakBadarak. , several items such as T-shirts, stickers, posters, trailers, Instagram accounts, cover flash cards and X banners to support the promotion of the Darak Badarak art community short film entitled "Anak Bawah Kolong".Keywords: film, docudrama, character, children and music

Abstract

Nowadays, teenagers in Indonesia are busy following the trend, namely playing online games. This can be seen from the habit of playing gadgets every day. Besides that, the development of online games is now being rapidly developed in the world, including Indonesia. Without realizing it, teenagers have spent a lot of time trying, until they finally become addicted to Online Games. Online Games can also have a negative effect on players if done excessively. One of the main factors is the intensity of playing online games for teenagers, who can be categorized as addicts if they play 3 hours a day or 20 hours a week. By playing online games excessively, of course it can interfere with learning activities, social activities to the health of adolescents themselves.Based on these problems the Webcomic “Level Up!” design was made. Webcomic media was choosen as the main media because Webcomic can easily reach young people who are familiar with gadgets, so that teens can receive information and messages delivered by Webcomic well, effectively and pleasantly, and Webcomic can be an interesting reading and a first step to reduce teenagers in playing excessive online gaming.In deigning the comic, writer used 4D (Definition, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and 5W+1H (What, Where, Who, Why, How) methods. Author analyzes the “Level Up!” Webcomic that has never been made before. As a study in designing Webcomic and supported by supporting media in the form of Flash Applications, Posters, T=Shirts, Sticker Lines, Pins, Mobile Casing, Key Chains, and Website Add Banners that are able to Promote “Level Up!” Webcomic.Keywords : Addicted Online Games, Level Up, Webcomic

Abstract

Guidebook of "The Basic of Modern Calligraphy with Brush Pen" is designed with the aim to give a learning media for modern calligraphy enthusiasts to be able to write well starting from basic techniques and give understanding in the scope of modern calligraphy. The method that used in this design is Research and Development (R&D) which begins with data processing, designing a new work system, product testing, and improvement steps. This design will produce a book as the main product and some others media such as: x-banner, poster, guideline notebook, t-shirt, totebag, brush pen pouch, and e-book that have a function as supporting media of the book "The Basic of Modern Calligraphy with Brush Pen".Keywords : Guidebook, Modern Calligraphy, Brush Pen

Abstract

Solok City is one of the cities in West Sumatra Province which is geographically quite unique, that is, this city has various tourist sites. This diversity gives rise to natural exoticism so that it can be used as a tourist attraction. Therefore, as an introduction to tourism in the city of Solok, West Sumatra as well as to advance the tourism sector in the city of Solok, the authors put it in the form of designing a videography-based agro tourism promotion. The research method used qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and existing. The concept used in the design is "promotion". This means that the concept of Sawah Solok tourism has a beauty and uniqueness in every tourist location. The concept will be applied to each design which includes video and other supporting media. The result of making videos and promotional media for agro tourism is an effort to introduce tourism in Solok City to attract tourists to visit. Besides promoting agro tourism which can be enjoyed in various media. The design produces the main media, namely videos about the natural beauty of Sawah Solok and is also supported by several other supporting media, namely: posters, t-shirts, banners, stickers, mugs, and totte bags as supporting main media and as promotional media.Keywords: Video, Promotion, Agro-tourism, Sawah Solok

Abstract

This design is motivated by the large amount of plastic waste caused by the increasingly severe impact of plastic waste on the environment. Various efforts have been made to reduce plastic waste, but public awareness is still low. This final project aims to design an educational media for children aged 9-11 years in the form of pictorial stories. The approach used is to make this pictorial story, among others; illustration approach, pictorial story approach, and environmental awareness approach. The design method used is the Four-D method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The main media chosen was picture story books. Abstract

This design aims to help inform the products of Klinkink Apparel in an informative and communicative way. Materials for designing in the form of initial and final surveys were carried out such as interviews, documentation, and data collection to the owners of the Klinkink Apparel who were in the Painan area. The design in this catalog design uses a minimalist and modern concept and is combined with fashion photography, the result of this concept is a more attractive product photo. It is hoped that this catalog design can make good progress through promotion, on the one hand it also strengthens the selling power and popularity of competitors for clothing brands that exist today.Keywords: Klinkink apparel, catalog, promotion, design, product.

Abstract

The design of a tourist documentary video for Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra Province, aims to increase the number of visitors who are still small due to the ineffective use of promotional media. The author is interested in raising this problem and designing a final work entitled "Tourism Documentary Video of Dharmasraya Regency".The design method used in designing this documentary video is the Thiagarajan method called 4D with 4 stages consisting of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The design of a tourist documentary video for Dharmasraya district uses the SWOT analysis method.The results of designing a tourist documentary video for Dharmasraya district are packaged in the form of a video in the MP4 Full HD format which is burned to a DVD disc, and promoted on a YouTube account and also broadcast on I NewS TV Padang. Abstract

In the city of Bangko are one of the motorcycle online that give priority to services between shuttle goods namely Indo-Jek. Indo-Jek once many in the know and many consumers who are interested in using the Indo-Jek. In any company, product, and the public. The research is aimed to describe the shape and know the meaning of the signs that are on logo Indo-Jek, with the approach of semiotics.Research is using method qualitative with analysis of semiotics Charles Sanders Pierce with three element main namely, sign (sign), object, and Interperetant, and to know the meaning of the author using icons, indices, and symbols.In the logo motorcycle online Indo-Jek has characteristics typical of the interesting and different with a motorcycle online in general, things are seen on a logo Indo-Jek which uses the shape of birds to represent his identity. Perancangan video profile ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan Balai Diklat Industri Padang melalui video profile dan menarik minat masyarakat untuk mengikuti pelatihan di Balai Diklat Industri Padang. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis 5W + 1H.Hasil perancangan video profile Balai Diklat Industri Padang sebagai media komunikasi berupa audio visual. Didukung dengan berbagai media pendukung untuk promosi Balai Diklat Industri Padang seperti: buku profile, x-banner, kaos, brosur, stiker, akun media sosial dan kalender.
