Abstract

The terrazzo industry is an industry that has long been developing. Although it was sunk by the rise of ceramic materials, but recently terrazzo began to rise again. Its products are developing not only as floor coverings but also as wall coverings, kitchen tables, sinks and bathtubs. CV. Sari Hutan in Campurdarat Subdistrict, Tulungagung Regency, produces terrazzo raw materials from natural stones, namely marble, onyx and siolite. This business produces various types of terrazzo with the main raw material from natural stone waste. This industry is unique because not many have this kind of business and the product has a large export potential. This is based on the products produced by consumers both domestically and abroad, including France. Consumer interest in this product because it has exclusivity is the embodiment of a product that is customized and stylish. From the results of the situation analysis, it was found that the most urgent problem was the production capacity of SMEs that had not been optimal in meeting market demand. This is related to production support tools that are still not efficient. The process of grinding and sifting natural stones to produce broken marble, natural stone as the main raw material for terrazzo has not been optimal. The solution is to make production support tools more effective and efficient to produce more quality terrazzo. The main work of this activity is to produce a three-level excentric type vibrating screen, which is an automatic sieve used for the process of sifting marble granules, natural stones that are more effective and efficient. The results of engine efficiency calculation are vibrating screen excentric type Compared to the previous machine in terms of production capacity, electricity costs, the size of the grain produced, the terazo material produced has an average efficiency of 150%.

Abstract

This activity is a Community Partnership Program (CPP) which to develop small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that related with culinary. They are UD. Dedi Jaya and UD. Dua Putri. Both of them are located in Kauman Village, Mojokerto Regency. UD. Dedi Jaya is a SME that sells fried cassava chips, while UD. Dua Putri are SME that selling raw asiatic bitter yam chips. The targets that achieved in this activity are improving the quality and quantity of products and marketing areas in both of them. For reaching the targets, UD. Dedi Jaya will be given an electric machine cassava cutters to increase the quantity of the product while the UD. Dua Putri will be given a stove and cooking utensils to improve the quality of their products into fried asiatic bitter yam chips. This is followed by making a hygienic kitchens so that the final product is more qualified. In addition, both SMEs will be created a media promotion which are websites that followed by training for using that media promotion to improve the marketing area for their products.

Abstract

IbM Program for Shoes & Bags Leather Manufacturers in Malang aims to increase the capacity of them who are economically productive community groups. Their problems are (1) lack of ability in managing production schedule so often can not serve the consumer on time, lack of ability to determine the cost of product so that the selling price is not standard, lack of ability to market product which only relies on buyer/reseller, and limited production capacity. The method of implementing the program to solve partner problems is to provide various training, then proceed with mentoring. Sewing machine equipment is provided to increase production capacity. The output target of the program is to increase total sales and partner's revenue. Impacts of program execution have increased production capacity, increased sales and earnings turnover, enhanced communication capabilities of partners, diversity of marketing media and successful to compete overseas market.

Abstract

In Curahmalang Village, Rambipuji District, there are 2 Household Industries (IRT) that is IRT tofu and IRT tempe. The amount of soybeans spent in 1 day to make tempeh 15 kg and know 6 kg. Both IRTs in their production use the traditional way. Some of the problems faced by business partners include: dependence on wood fuel, soybean peeling, pressing and packaging that still using manual tools, soybean milling must be milled to others, financial management has not been handled properly. The methods offered to overcome these problems are: (1) Human Resources Training, (2) Procurement of machines for production improvement, as for machines needed: soybean peeler machine, Pedal Sealer machine, soybean machine, presto and gas stove , manual press machine, (3) financial management training. The result of community service is a partner able to increase the number of tofu production, in a day spent 9 kg soybean and tempe 19 kg soybeans, business partners are able to record bookkeeping and financial reporting well, the partner is able to operate the machine well, training and mentoring activities responded well, as evidenced by partner involvement and active partner participation during the activity and partners understand the importance of making good and healthy tempe and tofu.

Abstract

Waste is thing that can pollute the environment and become a source of disease in the community. With the pace of population growth, it is increasingly triggering the amount of waste produced by the community in each day, both organic and unorganic waste so that there was garbage dumping everywhere as happened in neighborhood Association 03 and 02 citizens Association: 04 Kemantren Village, Jabung District, Malang Regency. To overcome this problem, the PKM implementation team of Community Partnership Program had carried out activities, namely (1) counseling on the importance of creating a clean and comfortable environment, (2) training in recycling organic and non-organic waste into economic value goods (3) providing assistance in marketing the results of recycling organic and inorganic waste. The results of these activities were (1) growing public awareness in creating a clean environment, (2) the community could made compost from organic waste and compuser liquid (3) the community could make souvenirs from inorganic waste, and (4) Small Business and Intermediate was surrounded in Kemantren Village, Jabung District Malang Regency

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Snack Carang Mas is one form of business that is able to give a positive contribution to economic growth in the village of Kucur. Coconut mas mask food is one of the SMEs that become uggulan in Kucur Village, Dau District, Malang Regency that can not be separated from the problem. The problem is that there are processed production and governance management still using traditional and manual way, making it difficult to increase the quantity of production. Problems of production and marketing process can not be improved maximally. Currently the capabilities and knowledge of human resources of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are still very limited, especially in the field of administration and finance, so that in their business processing often experience obstacles. This activity aims to assist the preparation of financial statements and form a small business that is productive through the mastery of computer technology or microsof office (Word or excel). With the mastery of the production process and IT is expected production and marketing processes can be optimized.

Abstract

: Diwilayah kabupaten kecamatan Wonosalam Kabupaten Jombang terdapat beberapa kelompok tani  – ternak Kambing PE yang tersebar di beberapa desa. Akhir- akhir ini terjadi perubahan iklim yang sangat ekstrem, dimana tidak ada perbedaan antara musim kemarau dan musim penghujan. Situasi ini menyebabkan semakin  sulitnya mencari bahan pakan alami yang tumbuh disekitar wilayah tinggal mereka, sehingga pada kahirnya andalan mereka hanyalah sisa limbah dari lahan tegakkan yang mereka kelola. Keterbatasan kesediaan pakan ini berakibat pada asupan gizi yang diperoleh ternak kambing PE ini juga relative rendah Beberapa kelompok tani di kedua kecamatan tersebut mulai berfikir untuk mencari solusi alternatif yang lebih efisien dalam meningkatkan asupan gizi pada ternak kambing PE ini. Abstract

Micro Small Enterprises (MSEs) act as a strategic force and have an important position, both in employment, community welfare, adhesiveness and stabilizing the problem of social inequality. The results of the preliminary field survey, showed that in Gunung Anyar Urban Village, Surabaya ponds, they have a pond cultivation business, especially milkfish cultivation and other fish. Fish farming results in addition to being sold in the form of raw fish are also processed in various kinds of processed fish, for example fish crackers, fish thorns, bandeng gapit and shredded fish. Various businesses, especially the business of removing thorns, cause problems, namely the increasing waste of milkfish thorns, especially from milkfish as well as thorns. Based on these problems, this paper aims to utilize the milk thorn waste into economic value so that it can increase people's income. The method used is the classical method and community development or community development in the Gunung Anyar Tambak village, Surabaya. Results of the East Java Thematic Community Service Program "veteran" namely growing awareness of the importance of utilizing fish thorn waste into selling products. One of the products from Thematic KKN is sticky crackers which are packaged in plastic with the Babone Stik brand. The value of the fish spines is because they contain high calcium so they are good for maintaining bone health.

Abstract

The development of batik business in Bangil sub-district of Pasuruan Regency is still very promising, due to the increasing demand of batik products and its derivatives, there are many batik craftsmen, the existence of local government policies that encourage the growth of batik business, and the opportunity to utilize information technology to expand the marketing area . But these factors can not be optimized, because the process of producing batik takes a long time, the amount of batik equipment is very limited, marketing is still limited due to the number of small and conventional production; and have not applied good business management for business development. Based on this, the purpose of this activity is to help improve the status of business partners from household business to micro business. The solutions include: (1) providing equipment and production process improvement training such as (a) the use of batik motif, wok and table cap to accelerate the process of printing motifs to fabrics; and (b) use of dyed bags, lorod stoves and lantern pans for staining processes; (2) utilization of online media for marketing system development; (3) business management training includes: (a) improvement of raw material procurement planning system; (b) improvement of production system and quality control, and (c) improvement of accounting system. Activities undertaken can improve the quality and quantity of batik production of partners.

Abstract

Creative industries supported by the government one of them is the culinary industry that is currently expected not only able to increase revenue for industrial owners, but also a character of tourism in a region. Two industrial partners who became the object IbM is including the culinary industry that is precisely the cake industry. The industry is owned by Susana and Ling and is located in Lumajang District. Both partners are known to have utilized the potential to increase their production so that they can be better known in the Lumajang community by way of entrusting products in certain locations such as in the school cafeteria or market. The partner's effort to improve the variety of products also looks like a dry cake product with a selection of cheeses and corned beef and oatmeal with a selection of beans, cheeses and chocolates in which this variety is the result of partner creations. Traditional marketing methods as mentioned above also need to be improved in order to expand the product marketing network. solutions for such problems through trademark registration for partner products, enhancement of online-based marketing methods through the creation of web-based marketing applications and ongoing assistance in the form of post-grant community service cooperation as well as the procurement of more adequate means of production.
