Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Project Based Learning model to science learning outcomes at SD Negeri Mranggen 3. This research was a quasi-experimental design study with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study were students of class IVA and IVB. Data collection was carried out by means of tests and non-tests. Data analysis techniques with normality, homogeneity, and t-test. The research results obtained from the initial data stated that the sample came from a population that was normally distributed and homogeneous. The requirements test using the t-test yields tcount = 2.444 and the coefficient is significant at the 5% level and db = 48, so ttable = 2.011 so the value of tcount > ttable. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes in class IV SD Negeri Mranggen 3 after using the Project Based Learning model are better than learning outcomes using conventional models.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of problem-based learning models in the formation of student learning independence. This research was conducted at SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. The method used in this research is to use descriptive qualitative methods. The technique used in collecting data using observation and questionnaires / questionnaires containing 20 questions with 5 indicators. The question indicators include not depending on other people, self-confidence, responsibility, initiative and motivation. The results of the participants' responses as many as 28 respondents to the learning independence indicator were accumulated to get 94% results into the positive category, so that it can be said that the problem based learning model can shape the learning independence of grade 3 students at SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang.

Abstract

What prompted this research was the discovery of difficulties experienced by students in solving math class IV questions on arithmetic operations material. The problem of this research was the difficulties experienced by students in completing arithmetic division operations and the factors that caused students to experience learning difficulties in division arithmetic operations.  The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties experienced by class IV students at SDN 03 Sambung in Grobogan Regency in completing arithmetic division operations and to find out the factors that cause students to experience learning difficulties in arithmetic operations in grade IV at SDN 03 Sambung in Grobogan Regency.  This type of research is descriptive qualitative.  Based on the results of the research findings, fourth grade students at SDN 03 Sambung in Grobogan Regency experienced difficulties in working on math problems on arithmetic operations on division.  Using test methods, interviews, and questionnaires.  The results of this study were the fourth grade students at SDN 03 Sambung in Grobogan Regency, with a total of 19 students who experienced difficulties.  In the study, there were research questionnaire findings in the "Never" category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Problem based learning model assisted by Interactive Learning Media on the ability to think critically mathematically in fifth grade students of SDN Berahan Wetan, Demak. This type of research is Quantitative. The population in the study were 26 students in class V SDN Berahan Wetan. The method used is True-Experimental Design, the samples taken were 26 students who were divided into two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group using random sampling technique. The results of the analysis using the t-test. The research used was a pretest-posttest control design. Based on the results of the analysis of research data after receiving the treatment of the Problem based learning Model with the Assistance of Interactive Learning Media on Mathematical Critical Thinking, it showed an increase in fifth grade students at SDN Berahan Wetan 1 Demak. From the calculation results obtained tcount>ttable, namely 32.67 >2.16, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the average value of students' mathematical critical thinking abilities after using the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive media is greater than the average before using problem-based learning model.

Abstract

This study has two objectives namely to identify and describe the factors that influence the difficulty of learning English vocabulary in grade II students at SD Negeri Duren Temanggung Regency and to identify and describe solutions to overcome difficulties in learning English vocabulary in grade II students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were class II students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and tests. Data analysis procedures used the Miles & Huberman interactive model technique (data reduction, data presentation and conclusion). The results of the study showed that there were still many students having difficulty learning English vocabulary in writing and vocabulary mastery from 19 students as many as 12 students had difficulty especially in writing (writing) and vocabulary mastery. Two factors that cause students to have difficulty learning English vocabulary are internal factors and external factors. The conclusion of this study is that there are several factors that influence students' difficulties in learning English vocabulary material. These factors are internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still violations by students against the rules and habits that exist in schools. The formulation of the research problem is how is the game model and the feasibility of the outbound-based game model in instilling the disciplinary character of SD N BUGANGAN 01? This study aims to determine the development of game models and the feasibility of outbound-based game models in instilling discipline character. The research method used in this research is research and development proposed by Sugiyono. Quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques are used to analyze data in the form of numbers derived from validation by material experts, models, teachers, students and observation sheets. The feasibility of the model is obtained through model validation, materials, teachers, students and observation sheets. The validation results obtained were 90% and 88% of the model expert validators in the "very feasible" category. Obtained 84% in the "very feasible" category and 80% in the "proper" category from the material expert validator. The teacher's response questionnaire obtained 94% in the "very feasible" category. The student response questionnaire obtained 93% in the "very feasible" category and 89% from the observation sheet in the "very feasible" category.

Abstract

Learning implementation practically changes. Students are no longer the object of learning. The success of education is also determined by the teachers’ quality. If teachers can understand the process of acquiring knowledge, then they can determine appropriate learning strategies or methods, one of which is guided inquiry. Guided inquiry is a method that involves students actively discovering concepts independently. Research objective was to determine the implementation effect of the guided inquiry method on science learning outcomes in grade 5th of MI Al-Ghozali Surabaya. This research used quantitative methods. The research population was 39 students. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling. Data collection used interview sheets and tests. The data analysis used Pearson product moment and t-table test. The results showed, value of t-table 37 was 1.68. This shows t-count>t-table = 1.91>1.68. So Ho was accepted and it stated that there was an increase in student learning outcomes. Besides, rxy is bigger than r-table = 0.33617>0.316. It can be concluded that the guided inquiry method has a low effect on increasing student learning outcomes. This is also supported by the results of the coefficient of determination 11.3%, the remaining 88.7% (100% -11.3%) is influenced by other variables which were not examined by researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Gerak Dakon Wayang learning media on FPB KPK mathematics for grade IV, to improve students' problem-solving abilities and analyze the validity and suitability of learning media. The R&D method by Borg and Gall uses 6 steps; potentials and problems, data collection, product design, expert validation, design revision, and product testing. The subjects in this study are fourth grade at SDN Pajomblangan. Data were analyzed qualitatively from the results of interviews with teachers, students and quantitatively analyzed from the point of view of teachers, students, media experts, and material experts. The results of the study concluded that learning media complies with the Borg and Gall procedures to obtain criteria suitable for use. The media design uses a wooden box measuring which contains 40 small partitions equipped with tajo wayang as dakon seeds and material books and instructions for use. This media is valid and suitable for use in learning based on validation of media experts 90.59% and material experts 90%, analysis of the student responses is 96% and analysis of the teacher responses is 96.67%. Media improves students' problem-solving abilities based on pretest and posttest scores from the "Enough" mastery criterion to "Very Good" mastery criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the use of concrete media for the activeness of student learning in mathematics learning grade IIb SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This study used observation and interview techniques in data collection. The results showed that students actively learn in learning mathematics using concrete objects. In mathematics learning, learners are interested and learners are engaged in learning, as well as listening more and paying attention to what the teacher is conveying. This in learning situations shows an active, creative, and fun atmosphere. Active, creative, and fun learning if carried out continuously, it can increase students' interest in mathematics learning so that learning will be achieved. It is hoped that researchers can provide theoretical as well as practical benefits for the development of education, especially those related to the development of education in elementary schools. Learners can be seen listening to math learning in earnest. Based on the results of observations and interviews, students pay attention, listen, write, actively ask and answer, and do problems so that students feel happy in learning using concrete media in mathematics learning.

Abstract

The application of the lecture method and personal approach to students in character education at SD Negeri Rejosari 03 has been going well, but in this case there are still some problems related to character education, it is necessary to develop learning media, one of which is by using the wrong learning media. the only audio-visual media of folklore. The development of folklore audio-visual learning media that contains character education values aims to support student character development. The method used in research is Research and Development. This research aims to develop an existing product or produce a product. The results obtained from media experts I 100%, media experts II 100%, and media experts III 91.11%. The results obtained by material experts I 100% and material experts II 100% and material experts III 88.88% with the criteria " Very Worth Using”. The practicality of the media was obtained through a questionnaire for class IIIB student and teacher responses at SD Negeri Rejosari 03, obtaining a percentage of 95.26% with very good results and in the teacher's response questionnaire, a percentage of 100% was obtained with very good results.
