Abstract

This research was conducted using teacher notes as a guide in providing material using learning media. There are still many teachers who rarely use learning media when delivering material or in the learning process. This learning media is very important for students because they consider that learning is more fun and not scary. This study aims to analyze the effect of using mind mapping media in teaching general knowledge by using before and after tests. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and observation. Data analysis used questions totaling 15 questions. This study obtained the results that from all indicators that have been exceeded, it was identified that there was a significant increase in influence of 0.002 related to before and after utilizing mind mapping learning media. The application of mind mapping media by the fifth grade teacher of MI MA'ARIF KEDUNGBOTO is able to improve students' critical thinking

Abstract

Based on the phenomenon of the behavior of students in the era of information globalization and various teacher constraints in character assessment, it is very important to conduct self-assessment of students in the era of globalization, especially in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith. This Self-Assessment Instrument aims to provide a clear picture of the importance of conducting self-assessment in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects for students in learning related to the Qur'an, as initial information for teachers, educational institutions, and the government in the context of educational development, as well as a reference for anyone who will conduct further student self-assessment research. The method in this study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenon approach. The result obtained is that the self-assessment instrument in the Qur'an Hadith subject becomes very important to be carried out. The self-assessment instrument on students periodically and effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to monitor and analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning based on independent learning at MAN 2 Palembang. The main focus of this research is to identify changes that occur in the learning process, analyze the challenges faced and evaluate their impact on learning outcomes and student character development. In achieving these objectives, this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This method was chosen based on the need to obtain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the implementation of learning Islamic Education based on independent learning at MAN 2 Palembang. Data collection used direct observation, semi-structured interviews, documentation and FGDs. Data analysis uses a thematic analysis approach. The results showed that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning based on independent learning at MAN 2 Palembang has brought positive changes to the learning process and outcomes, increasing student motivation, developing 21st century skills, and strengthening character to be promising results. However, challenges such as teacher readiness, infrastructure, and parental resistance still need to be overcome. The successful implementation of independent learning in the context of Islamic religious education requires a holistic approach involving curriculum development, improving teacher competence, providing adequate infrastructure, and active involvement of all stakeholders. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impact of this approach on students' religious understanding and character building.

Abstract

The technological development that is very much felt is the existence of e-commerce. Digital transformation such as e-commerce can be applied in zakat management. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of the online zakat system as training and habituation of zakat for children. Researchers will discuss how the online zakat system, how parents and teachers utilize the online zakat system as a medium for training and habituation of zakat for children. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a library research approach that focuses on collecting and analyzing data from various written sources such as books, journals, articles and other relevant references. Data will be analyzed using thematic analysis to identify emerging patterns and themes. The results of the study show that habituation of zakat for children through digital technology, such as online zakat applications, is an innovative step that can answer the challenges of the times. Strategies that can be carried out in digitalizing zakat or online zakat include developing educational applications, gamification, zakat payment simulations, collaboration with schools, and the active role of parents. The benefits of online zakat training and habituation for children include teaching empathy and social awareness, increasing Islamic financial literacy, forming Islamic character in the Digital Era. This study provides a significant contribution in clarifying the role of technology in zakat education and character development of children.

Abstract

Education about hardware and software is very important to improve technological literacy. This study discusses the introduction of hardware components such as CPU, RAM, motherboard, mouse, keyboard, hard disk, and software such as operating systems and applications. Interactive technology-based learning methods are used to facilitate understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method to describe the application of observation and question and answer methods as education for introducing hardware and software to early childhood. Data were collected through structured interviews, participatory observation and document analysis. Data obtained through observation and interviews were analyzed qualitatively. To test the validity of the data, data triangulation was used, namely comparing the findings of observations, interviews and document analysis. The results of the study showed that this approach significantly increased students' interest and knowledge in learning. Practice-based learning has proven to be the key to improving students' technological literacy. In addition, increasing technological literacy is expected to help students be better prepared to face challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Poster media is the application of poster media to obtain accurate information related to students' achievements in mastering poster media. The purpose of this study focuses on the analysis of the application of poster media as an effort to prevent liquor among adolescents. This study is a category of descriptive qualitative research, and the data sources in the study include interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis of the application of poster media as an effort to prevent liquor among teenagers make attractive poster media and with the placement of images and the right writing so that students can easily read the poster media made by the researcher is quite easy and can be followed by teachers to help the learning process. Furthermore, the challenges and obstacles of poster media as an effort to prevent liquor among teenagers are: In addition, making posters manually is a job that has its own challenges. This includes the issue of cost and quality of the products produced. To improve learning and overcome current challenges more efficiently. Meanwhile, other obstacles include difficulty conveying the message clearly, the budget to print quality posters and no place to specifically attach poster media in schools.

Abstract

The creation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials is essential to improve students' morale and critical thinking skills in facing real-world challenges. By analysing the resources used by teachers, learning barriers, and students' needs for more effective teaching materials, this study sought to analyse the need for PBL-based teaching materials. This study used descriptive quantitative methods, with data collection techniques through student questionnaires and structured teacher interviews. The results showed that 88% of 84 grade IX students at SMPN 3 Terusan Nunyai had received PAI textbooks. However, 83% of them believe that characters such as optimism, tolerance, and honesty are still lacking. In addition, 90% of students felt that the textbooks were insufficient, 95% felt that they needed more teaching resources, and 98% felt that they needed resources that could help them develop character. These results highlight the need to create PBL-based PAI modules to enhance students' educational journey and improve their critical thinking and character development. It is expected that PBL-based PAI teaching materials will be widely used in the education system to promote more contextualised and meaningful learning. Its incorporation into PAI teaching materials can be a creative way to increase the effectiveness of character learning.

Abstract

Learning and assessment are two elements that complement each other and cannot be separated. Assessment is an important part of learning to ensure the achievement of the expected educational goals. To realize effective learning and assessment, a knowledge transfer process that is able to achieve student learning goals is needed, as well as an evaluation process to find out the extent to which students have understood the material being taught. In the Independent Curriculum, non-cognitive diagnostic assessment is one of the important aspects, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in elementary schools. Religious education plays a role in shaping personality and has a positive impact on the life of the nation, because its values are able to permeate various aspects of individual life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method that focuses on human experience. The data used consisted of primary and secondary data, with research subjects of grade IV students and PAI teachers at SD Negeri 158 Palembang. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis includes collecting, reducing, presenting data, and verifying or drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of non-cognitive diagnostic assessments in PAI subjects is divided into three stages: (1) Preparation, namely the identification of assessment instruments at the beginning of the semester; (2) Implementation, which is carried out in class at the end of class hours; and (3) Follow-up, in the form of analysis of assessment results by teachers. Supporting factors include teacher understanding, training, infrastructure, and parent involvement. However, the obstacles that arise include a lack of technical understanding, time constraints, and a lack of training and assessment tools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze religious moderation literacy in the Aqidah Akhlak subject through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at MTs Darul Ulum Budi Agung. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of three phases: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Observations described the implementation of the halaqah method as an effort to enhance students' religious moderation literacy. Data were collected through a religious moderation literacy test conducted before and after implementing the PBL model. The results showed a significant increase in religious moderation literacy in the experimental group compared to the control group. The average pretest score for the experimental group was 65, which increased to 85 in the posttest, while the control group only increased from 64 to 70. Data analysis confirmed the effectiveness of PBL in fostering students' engagement and critical thinking. Instrument validation showed high results in readability (89%), clarity (86%), content suitability (91%), practicality (87%), and reliability (0.86). The implementation of the PBL model proved effective in enhancing religious moderation literacy by encouraging active participation and critical thinking among students. These findings contribute to the development of instructional models in Aqidah Akhlak education by providing empirical evidence of PBL’s role in strengthening religious moderation literacy. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the PBL model be more widely implemented in Aqidah Akhlak education and other subjects related to character education and religious moderation.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of Alumni of the PAI Study Program in preparing for the demographic bonus in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, aiming to analyze the contributions of PAI alumni in addressing the opportunities and challenges posed by the demographic shift. The research results show that PAI alumni play a role in shaping religious perspectives, motivating social change, and adapting to industrial transformations. However, challenges remain, such as the need for balanced time management, frequent policy adjustments, and alignment with technological advancements. The implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the community is influenced by several structural, substantive, and cultural factors. Structurally, the effectiveness of alumni contributions depends on the availability of competent guidance personnel. Substantively, the alignment of educational policies with contemporary societal needs affects implementation. Culturally, the support of families and communities enhances the impact of alumni efforts. Addressing these factors collectively fosters a more holistic approach to religious education in the era of Industry 4.0. The success of alumni contributions is also supported by active participation from parents, families, and communities. By ensuring a collaborative effort in religious education, the role of PAI alumni in optimizing the demographic bonus can be more effective and sustainable.
