Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the suboptimal competence of teachers in integrating Islamic economic values ​​into Indonesian language literacy learning, resulting in learning still focusing on text comprehension and not fully supporting the Pancasila Student Profile. The objective of this activity was to strengthen teachers' competence in understanding and implementing contextual Islamic economic-based Indonesian language literacy learning. The implementation method used a participatory and collaborative approach through the stages of coordination, socialization, concept reinforcement, directed discussions, and evaluation and reflection. The activity was carried out in the form of material presentations, interactive discussions, and providing examples of the integration of Islamic economic values ​​in literacy learning. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of literacy as a contextual social practice and an increased awareness of integrating Islamic economic values ​​such as honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility in learning. Teachers also demonstrated a positive response and initial commitment to implementing value integration in literacy activities. Thus, this activity was effective in strengthening teachers' competence and supporting meaningful learning and contributing to the formation of student character according to the Pancasila Student Profile in elementary schools.

Abstract

Public service delivery and public information disclosure constitute essential components of governance grounded in the principles of good governance, particularly at the village government level as the foremost service unit that directly interacts with the community. In practice, the implementation of village public services continues to encounter various challenges, including the limited understanding of village officials regarding public service standards and public information disclosure mechanisms, as well as the low level of community participation in accessing and overseeing village services. These conditions have resulted in the suboptimal realization of transparent and accountable village governance. This community service activity aims to describe and analyze the strengthening of public service delivery and public information disclosure based on community education within the governance practices of Sindangheula Village, Serang Regency. The approach employed is normative–empirical, conducted through the examination of statutory regulations in the fields of public services and public information disclosure, alongside the mapping of the empirical conditions of village public services through educational activities, participatory discussions, and mentoring for both village officials and the community. The results of this community service activity indicate an improvement in the understanding of both village officials and the community regarding their rights and obligations in public service delivery, the importance of public information disclosure, and its relation to the principles of transparency and accountability in village governance. Furthermore, the community education initiatives implemented have strengthened the awareness of village officials in consistently applying the principles of good governance in daily public service practices.

Abstract

The Kosabangsa Program in Pomolulu Village was implemented to address the low productivity and income of fishers due to traditional fishing methods. This program aimed to improve the capacity and welfare of fishers through the application of solar-powered fish aggregating devices (FADs). The method used was participatory training consisting of counseling and hands-on practice, including the introduction of FAD concepts, solar energy systems, and training on assembly, installation, and operation in the field. The results showed an implementation of FAD technology significantly improved fish catches, increasing fishers’ income from approximately IDR 3,000,000 per month to more than IDR 6,750,000 within a 10-day group harvest period. The program also enhanced technical skills and group collaboration in managing the technology. Therefore, the application of solar-powered FADs through a training-based approach proved effective in improving productivity, capacity, and welfare of fishers. This program is expected to be sustainable through institutional strengthening and continuous assistance.

Abstract

The existence of village officials is regulated in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, Government Regulation Number 43 of 2014 in conjunction with Government Regulation Number 47 of 2015, and Regulation Minister of Home Affairs Number 83 of 2015 which has been amended by Ministerial Regulation Domestic Affairs Number 67 of 2017, Even though there is a clear legal basis, the practice in The field shows that the dismissal of village officials still often causes serious problem This is caused by non-compliance with regulations, the existence of vested interests politics, as well as the weak understanding of the village head and village officials themselves regarding the rules applicable law. Therefore, there is a need for legal counseling regarding the legal status of village apparatus in statutory regulations in order to provide understanding to the village head and village officials to minimize conflicts of interest in order to create better and more competitive village governance. The methods used in This counseling are carried out through lectures, discussions and questions and answers. This study concludes that the village head does not fully understand the regulations regarding dismissal and appointment of village officials by implementing this counseling, it is hoped that various practical problems such as inconsistencies in appointment and dismissal procedures village officials so that the potential for internal conflict can be minimized so that the process/dismissal becomes more transparent, objective and accountable.

This article aims to comprehensively analyze the potential and obstacles in the use of AI in education, while offering recommendations for sustainable and inclusive implementation strategies to enhance students' learning creativity. This article can be a reference for policy makers, teachers, and educational technology practitioners in designing AI-based learning systems to enhance student creativity.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the understanding of BPD members regarding the importance of village regulation formulation, strengthen institutional capacity in performing legislative functions, and establish effective partnerships between BPD and the village government. The activity was conducted on July 15, 2025, at the Pringgasela Village Office Hall, involving participants consisting of village officials, chairpersons and members of BPD, and community leaders from various elements. The implementation method applied a participatory approach through socialization, and focus group discussion (FGD). The results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding of the urgency and stages of village regulation formulation as well as the importance of supervisory functions in village governance. This activity contributes to strengthening the existence of BPD as a partner of the village government in achieving participatory and accountable village governance.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the understanding of village officials and BPD members regarding the urgency of village legal products as the foundation of village governance and to strengthen institutional capacity in drafting village regulations. The activity involved village officials, BPD members, and community leaders and was conducted through legal education, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and legal consultation methods. The results indicated that prior to the activity, most participants had limited understanding of the hierarchy and formation procedures of village legal products. After the implementation, participants demonstrated improved understanding of the urgency of village legal products and institutional roles in their implementation. This activity contributes to strengthening village institutional capacity and supports the realization of participatory and accountable village governance.

Abstract

Land and Building Tax (PBB) is one of the regional revenue sources that plays an important role in supporting regional development, including development at the village level. Community participation in paying Land and Building Tax is strongly influenced by the role of village governments in providing socialization, education, and administrative assistance to the community. However, in practice, several challenges are still found in increasing public awareness to fulfill tax obligations, particularly at the village level. This community service activity aims to improve public understanding of the importance of paying Land and Building Tax and encourage community participation in fulfilling tax obligations. The implementation method used a participatory approach through counseling, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and administrative consultation. The activity was conducted on July 15, 2025, at the Village Office Hall of Pringgasela with consisting of village officials, community leaders, and community representatives. The results showed that public understanding regarding the importance of paying Land and Building Tax improved after the activity. In addition, this activity identified several obstacles faced by the community in fulfilling tax obligations, such as limited understanding of payment procedures and low legal awareness. This activity contributes to increasing community participation in Land and Building Tax payments and supports regional revenue improvement.

Abstract

The community service initiative at Pondok Pesantren Fadlilatul Munna, Magelang, focused on boosting Islamic banking market share through early financial literacy. The program aimed to transform students into agents of change for Indonesia's Sharia economy. Execution & Content: Using a structured approach (pre-test, presentation, Q&A, and post-test), experts Arif Mulyawan and Rahmatul Arifin educated participants on: Core Principles: Prohibitions on riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling). Practical Application: The use of Sharia contracts (akads) in economic activities. Results: While initial knowledge was low, post-test results showed significant improvement. Students engaged deeply, asking critical questions about banking costs and the Sharia status of cryptocurrencies. Conclusion: Early education is a strategic necessity for the Islamic finance sector. The program recommends expanding these efforts to more youth to ensure the long-term growth of the Sharia financial ecosystem.
