Introduction: Patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 Â tend to have ABI values lower than the normal range due to lack of physical exercise and uncontrolled hyperglycemia. This needs to be prevented through joint movement exercises with the Buerger Allen exercise which can increase blood perfusion in the lower extremities so that there is an increase in the value of the ankle-brachial index (ABI). Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of Buerger Allen exercise on the value of the ankle-brachial index (ABI) in patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 based on a review of research journals. Methods: This study uses a literature review method. Search literature using 5 databases, namely Portal Garuda, Sinta, ProQuest, Scopus, and Google Scholar with keywords according to MeSH, namely "Buerger Allen Exercise", "Ankle Brachial Index", and "Diabetes Mellitus Type 2". The PICOS framework was used to adjust the inclusion criteria which were divided into 5 English journals and 5 Indonesian journals and then analyzed narratively based on similarity analysis. Results: The findings of the ten journals stated that the Buerger Allen exercise had a significant effect on the value of the ankle-brachial index (ABI). Discussion: Buerger Allen exercise is a physical exercise to improve foot peripheral perfusion that can increase the value of the ankle-brachial index in type 2 DM patients. Conclusion: Buerger Allen exercise has a significant effect on increasing the ankle-brachial index (ABI) score so that it can be used as a reference source for standard operating procedures and nursing interventions. Keywords:Â Buerger Allen; Exercise; Ankle Brachial Index; Diabetes Mellitus

Stroke causes several physical and psychological symptoms. Early strokescontribute to a very significant risk of recurrent attacks. If there iscognitive impairment, it can affect one of the cognitive functions such asattention. This study aims to determine the description of the level of attentionof stroke patients after experiencing repeated attacks. The method and design ofthis study were a descriptive study using frequency distribution, with a cross-sectional research approach. The samples were 67 post-stroke patients whoexperienced repeated attacks, using non-probability sampling techniques withpurposive sampling techniques based on inclusion and exclusion criteria anddata collection using the TMT (trail making test A and B) questionnaire. Theresults of this study describe that most of the respondents have less attention inthe category of 56 people (83, 6%). Factors that can affect attention are age, theolder a person gets, the worse his or her attention after a stroke is coupled withthe degenerative process experienced by stroke sufferers. Prolonged stressand psychological conditions and the inability to adapt to new conditions greatlyinterfere with the recovery process because on average stroke patients not onlyexperience sequelae after an attack but also unstable psychological conditionsthat can worsen their physical condition. Conclusions: Identification respondents'attention has a poor attention category mostly, it is necessary to carry outpreventive, curative, or rehabilitative promotive prevention in stroke patients bymodifying a healthy lifestyle to prevent recurrent attacks

Early Warning Score (EWS) is tool that could be applicated to know the early deterioration of the patient. There are seven criteria/indicator in the EWS, these are temperature, O2 saturation, heart rate, O2 supplement, systolic blood pressure, respiratory rate, consciousness. The ability to know the worsening condition in these seven indicators will help the medical team to give prompt treatment to the patients. Wates General Hospital is one of the hospitals in Indonesia that has carry out the EWS system. There is no research conducted on Early Warning Scores in that hospital. The objective to look at the risk of non-compliance with the implementation of EWS on the patient's mortality rate and to see other risk factors for patient mortality. This is an analytic observational study with a case-control retrospective design. Calculation of samples in the case and control groups with purposive sampling method with a total sample of 328 consisting of 82 cases (mortality) and 246 control groups (no mortality patients). Data analysis bivariate data is analized with statictic chi square test and logistic regression. Results The risk for non-compliance to EWS implementation is significantly affect the patient mortality with p-value score of 0,001 (p<0.05). Other risk factors that significantly affect the patient’s mortality are patient severity level, heart disease, stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis. Compliance with the EWS protocol is statistically significant correlation with patient mortality. Implementing good EWS will help medical tim to know early the patient's condition. patient mortality is significantly affected by non-compliance with EWS implementation.
