ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this jurnal is to describe the corelation between studentsâ€™ reading appreciative short story and writing short story text skill of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang. This research is quantitative research in term of description of corelation study. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that. First, studentsâ€™ skill in reading appreciative short story of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang is good with the avarage score 80,57. Second, studentsâ€™ skill in writing short story text is good with the avarage score is 76,67. Third, based on t test,Â it can be concluded that there is significant corelation between studentsâ€™ skill in reading appreciative short story and studentsâ€™ skill in writing short story text of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang because t counted is bigger than t table (12,19>2,021).Â Kata kunci:Â hubungan, membaca apresiatif, keterampilan menulis, teks cerpen

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of the research is analyze the effect of the use of techniques to imitate the model of poetry writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok.Â Â The data of this research is test result score of poetry writing skills for students at class VII SMP Negeri 3 Solok before using the technique to imitate the model and test result score of poetry writing skills for students at class VII SMP Negeri 3 Solok after using the technique to imitate the model. Data is collected by work method test.The result of this research is it has significance influence of techniques to imitate the model of poetry writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Solok at significant level of 95% with degrees of freedom (nâ€“1), namely thitung > ttabel (7,52>1,72). H0 Â is refused and H1 is accepted because the result of hypothesis test going to show thatÂ thitung is bigger than ttabel.Â Kata kunci: Teknik Tiru Model, Keterampilan MenulisÂ

ABSTRACT This research was conducted based on too many uses of ineffective sentences in the exposition essays written by the second gtade students of Batang Anai Junior High School. There were three purposes of this research, which were to describe the effectiveness of sentences written by the second grade students of Batang Anai Junior High School based on first sentence structure, second diction, and third words spelling. This research was a qualitative research. The method used in this research was descriptive. The results of the research were from 132 sentences used as the research data, there were 5 effective sentences and 127 ineffective sentences. In short, there were 12 ineffective sentences of the structure aspect, 85 ineffective sentences of the diction aspect, and 101 ineffective seiltences of the words spelling aspect.Â Kata kunci : keefektifan, kalimat, karangan, eksposisi, siswa

ABSTRACTÂ This article is written to discuss the results of research on the relationship of interest in reading the narrative expository writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 11 Padang. This research data in the form of a score questionnaire interest in reading and writing skills test score results expository narrative. The data was obtained through two types of tests, namely questionnaire to measure the level of mastery of reading and performance test to measure the level of mastery of narrative expository writing skills. This research is a quantitative experimental method. The results of this research are three: (1) the level of interest in reading students' mastery of grade VII SMP Negeri 11 Padang are in qualification More than Enough (LDC) with an average value of 74.49, (2) the level of mastery of narrative expository writing skills graders VII SMP Negeri 11 Padang are in qualification More than Enough (LDC) with an average value of 74.55, and (3) based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% significance level and degrees of freedom (df) = n-1 because thitung> ttable (31.40> 1.68).Â Kata kunci : hubungan, minat baca, narasi ekspositoris

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose research of this describe the impact of the discovery learning aided the media images glow of skill write the text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok. This type of this study is quantitative methods of experimentation. The result of this research there were three, which is (1) the skill of the text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok before using the model discovery learning aided the media image series are at sufficient qualifications (C) with an average of 60,59, (2)the skill of writing text short story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok after using the model discovery learning aided the media image series is in the qualifications either (B) whit an average 78,89, (3) the skill of writing text story class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok after using the model discovery learning aided the media image glow is better than before using the model discovery learning aided the media image.Â Kata kunci: pengaruh, discovery learning berbantuan media gambar berseri, teks cerpen

ABSTRACTÂ This research is aimed to describe the influence cooperative model type TPS concerning description essay writing skills of student class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman. The research method of this study is experiment method with quasi experiment. The results of this study there was significant influence cooperative model type TPS concerning description essay writing skills of student class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman at significant level 95% with degrees of freedomÂ (n1+n2)-2, namely ttable <tarithmetic (1,70<9,19). ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is (1) describe the usege of conjungtion a coordinative in a short story by students in grade IX of middle school of seven districts south solok, and (2) describe the usage of conjungtion subordinative in a short story by student in grade IX of middle school of seven districts south solok. This type of research qualitative with the descriptive. The result of this reaseach is (1) conjungtion that are widely used class IX of middle school of seven districts south solok which is conjungtion subordinative as much as 487 in conjungtion a coordinative as many as 360, conjungtion subordinative that are widely used which is conjungtion subordinative time (after, so that, when, until, after, while, so that, for) while conjugtion a coordinative that are widely used which is conjungtion a coordinative the addition of (and)), (2) there are three conjungtion that are not used in a short story by students in grade IX of middle school of seven districts south solok, wich is conjungtion a coordinative flanking (and), conjungtion subordinative the modalities (let’s say, if, for example, in case), and conjungtion subordinative the (the same... with, more... from... on...) and (3) is still a lot of students who do not understand about the use of conjungtion a coordinative and conjungtion subordinative in a sentece. ABSTRACTÂ There are objectives of this research. First, describing the control of vocabulary environment area at students grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Second, describing the writing skill of news text at student grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Third, describing the relation vocabulary environment area with the skill in writing news text at student grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. This is a quantitative research with descriptive method and using correlational research design. Population and sample of this research are VIII th grade student of SMP Negeri 22 Padang consist of 142 students and 36 sample students. This research use Simple random Sampling technique. This experiment consists of two variables: vocabulary as the independent variable (X) and the writing skills of news text as a dependent variable (Y). Data research was score on result of control vocabulary test and score on writing skills of news text. Data that has been collected were analyzed with indicator to get score and students value. The research instrument is an objective test to meassure vocabulary mastery and test to measure the performance of the writing skills of news text. Based of result data analyzed and explanation, were concluded 3 case. First, control of vocabulary on environment area students grade at VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang was on good qualification (77,43). Second, writing skills of news text at student grade VIII SMP Negeri 22 padang was on good qualification (79,01). Third, control vocabulary on environment area corresponded with writing skills news text at students grade SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Nevertheless, for the writing skills news text were needed control of vocabulary on environment area.Â Kata Kunci : hubungan, penguasaan, berita, menulis

ABSTRACTÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The purpose of this study are describe (1) the ability of reading comprehension class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Padang, (2) the ability to write essays arguing class X students ofÂ SMANegeri 6 Padang, and (3) the correlation between of reading comprehension skills and the ability to write an essay arguing class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Padang. The data in this study were collected by using an objective test and a performance test. The result of the study are (1) the ability of reading comprehension class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Padang are in more than enough qualification with the average value 71.04, (2) the ability to write essays arguing class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Padang are more than enough to qualify with the average value 75.81, (3) there was a significant correlation between of reading comprehension skills with the ability to write an argument essay class X SMA Negeri 6 Padang because based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% significance level and degrees of freedom n-1 with t count> t table, which is 7.37> 1.70.
