Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research are (1) to describe exsplanatory text writing skills of VIII grade students SMP Negeri 4 Padang before applying discovery learning model whitin serial piscture media, (2) to describe exsplanatory text writing skills of VIII grade students SMP Negeri 4 Padang after applying discovery learning model whitin serial piscture media, and (3) to analize effect of discovery learning model whitin serial piscture media to exsplanatory text writing skills of VIII grade students SMP Negeri 4 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze intrinsic elements, the value of love, and the implementation of the value of love in Alma Aridatha's No Place Like Home novel in novel text learning in class XII high school students. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data source in this research is the No Place Like Home novel by Alma Aridatha. The results of the research were found as participants. First, there are seven intrinsic elements in Alma Aridatha's No Place Like Home novel, namely themes, characterizations, background, plot, point of view, language style, and mandate. Second, there are four values of love in Alma Aridatha's No Place Like Home novel, namely (1) 12 data the values of love for God; (2) 37 data the values of love for the family; (3) 12 data the values of love for others; and (4) 11 data the values of love for oneself. Third, the implementation of the value of love in Alma Aridatha's No Place Like Home novel in novel text learning class XII high school students 2013 curriculum with basic competencies related to three aspects of assessment, namely the assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Based on the results of the research, it is expected that the teacher suggests the No Place Like Home novel by Alma Aridatha which is easily understood by students in novel text learning in high school so that learning objectives are achieved. Kata Kunci: nilai cinta kasih, pembelajaran teks novel

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Purpose of this study were.  (1)to describe the use of explanatory the text structure of the student of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Batang Anai. (2) to describe the use of linguistic element in explanatory the text of the strudent of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Batang Anai. (3) to describe accuracy of element and structure of the explanatory text of the student of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Batang Anai. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. Data from this study are the structure and linguistic element of the explanatory text. The data source used in this study a document. The document used is a collection of explanatory text of the student of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Batang Anai. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal three problems regarding the implementation of the scientific approach in Indonesian subjects Curriculum 2013. First, the application of the scientific approach. Secondly, there are obstacles in the implementation of learning. Third, the follow-up done by the teacher in overcoming the constraints of learning. This research was conducted with qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data collected in this study using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The data in this study were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects in this study were Indonesian language teachers at SMPN 1 Koto Balingka, West Pasaman Regency. The results showed that in learning activities using a scientific approach the teacher was doing well. In the learning process the teacher has explained the five stages of learning by using a scientific approach, starting from observing, holding, reasoning, trying, to communicating. The results of this study also show the results that there are still obstacles faced by teachers in the process of implementing learning, for example, constrained by supporting facilities and infrastructures in learning. In the learning process the teacher has done step 5 M and has a role as a facilitator so that students are actively involved in learning. In general, learning activities with a scientific approach have been going well, but there are still obstacles faced by teachers in their implementation. Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Pendekatan Saintifik, Pembelajaran              Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the forms of feminism and their implementation in the learning of novel texts in class XII of high school. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data source in this study is Ayu Utami's Saman novel. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that show the form of feminism in the novel. The subject of this research is the researcher himself with the help of other instruments in the form of a recording sheet. The data collection technique, which is reading and understanding Ayu Utami's Saman novel, conducts literature studies related to research problems, and searches and records data relating to research problems contained in the novel. The data validation technique uses triangulation techniques. The results of the study were found as participants. First, there are two forms of feminism in Ayu Utami's Saman novel, namely verbal and nonverbal forms. Verbal form is a form of the character's struggle through verbal utterances by the characters. And nonverbal forms are physical actions of characters. Second, the application of feminism in Ayu Utami's Saman novel in 2013 class XII high school text learning curriculum with basic competencies related to three aspects of assessment, namely the assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Kata Kunci: feminisme, pembelajaran teks novel

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research is background because politeness involves part of social rules and strategic competencies needed and need to be discussed in the communication process. This research aims to (1) describe politeness strategies in the Dilan 1990 movie; (2) describe the politeness principle of language in the film Dilan 1990; and (3) describe the language context in the Dilan 1990 movie. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The data of this research are speeches expressed by Dilan’s Mother and Milea which contain politeness strategies, politeness principles, and contexts in the Dilan 1990 movie, analyzing data with the following steps. The first stage, identifying data based on strategy. The second stage, classifies data based on the principle of politeness. The third stage, identifying data based on context. The fourth stage analyzes and discusses research data in accordance with the theory used. The fifth, draws conclusions, namely formulating a repetitive pattern of strategies, principles of politeness, and context. Based on the results of the research it was concluded: (1) the number of data included in the strategy to speak frankly without further ado more than any other speaking strategy; (2) the maxims used in this study are wisdom macism, generosity maxim, praise maxim, and agreement maxim; (3) the speech of Dilan’s Mother and Milea in the Dilan 1990 movie is polite speech. Kata Kunci: Kesantunan Berbahasa , Strategi, Prinsip, Konteks

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the skills of writing biographical texts of class X SMA Negeri 3 Bukittinggi before using mind mapping assisted discovery learning models, (2) describe the biography text writing skills of class X Bukittinggi SMA 3 students after using mind-assisted discovery learning models mapping, and (3) analyzing the influence of the use of discovery learning models assisted by mind mapping on biography text writing skills of class X Bukittinggi 3 Public High School students. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this study is One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The population of students in class X of SMA Negeri 3 Bukittinggi was 352 students spread in ten classes. The sample in this study were students of class X MIPA 1 Bukittinggi State High School 3. The variable in this study is the writing biographical skills of students before and after using mind mapping assisted discovery learning models. The instruments used in this study were performance tests. The data of this study are scores on the results of biographical text writing skills tests for class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Bukittinggi before and after using mind mapping assisted discovery learning models. Abstract

ABSTRACT The data of this study consisted of words, sentences and discourses that featured events and figures that changed the values of character education included in Kaba Sabai Nan Aluih Karya M. Rasyid Manggis Dt. Rajo Penghulu. The technique of collecting this research data, namely reading and understanding, inventorying, and retrieving data relating to character education values in Sabai Nan Aluih's kaba and adoption when reading appreciation. The technique of analyzing the data of this study, namely data that has been collected and classified, is then analyzed based on theory. The method used is descriptive method, according to the purpose of the study. Based on the results of the study, the values of character education studied in kaba Sabai Nan Aluih by M. Rasyid Manggis Dt. Rajo Penghulu found. First, data that contains the value of honest character education. Second, the data that contains the value of the education of the character of hard work. Third, data that contains the value of Mandiri character education. Fourth, data that contains the value of Democratic character education. Fifth, the data containing the values of peace-loving character education. Sixth, the data that contains the value of social care education. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the effect of using mind mapping technique to writing skill the fable story text student in grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi. This research data is a score in the skills of writing the story fable text not with and by using mind mapping techniques. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experiment design. The results of this study are the skill of writing fable story text students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi not by using mind mapping technique stay in qualification more than enough (LdC) and the skill of writing the fable story text students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi by using mind mapping technique is qualification good (B). Based on t-test concluded that the use of technic mind mapping influence the skill of writing the fable story text because ttabel<thitung (1,70<2,74). Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Mind Mapping, Teks Cerita Fabel

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to describe things as follow. First, it describes the writing skills of the report text of observations of grade VII junior high school 22 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of fantasy text for VII grade students of junior high school 22 Padang. Third, analyze the comparasion between the writing skills of the observation report text and the fantasy story writing skills of the seventh grade student. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive analysis. Based on the result of the study, the following three things were concluded. First, the writing skills of the report text of observations of grade VII students of junior high school are in good qualifications (82,82). Secondly, the skills to write fantasy text for seventh grade student of junior high school 22 Padang are in good qualifications (80,66). Third, there is a significant difference between the writing skills of observations report text and the fantasy story writing skills of grade VII students of junior high school 22 Padang, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the count is greater then the table 11,25>1,68. Kata Kunci: Komparasi, Menulis Teks LHO,Menulis Teks Cerita Fantasi
