ABSTRACT Â This purpose of this study is three. First, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang before using the Think Talk Write (TTW) technique by the media of serial images. Secondly, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang after using theÂ TTW techniqueÂ by the media of serial images. Third, analyzing the effect of the use of Â TTW Â techniqueby the media of serial images on the skills of writing procedure text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with one group pretest and posttest design experimental methods. There are three results of this study. First, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 11 Padang before using theÂ TTW technique by the media of serial images is of goodÂ qualification (B) with an average value of 76,95 (under of minimal completeness criteria). Second, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 11 Padang after using theÂ TTW techniqueÂ by the media of serial images is of good qualification (B) with an average grade of 81,51 (above of minimal completeness criteria). Third, based on the t-test, H1Â is accepted at the 95% confidence level and dk= (n1 as a numerator and n2 as denominator) because tcount>ttable (2,39>1,70). ABSTRACTThis article aims to describe the effect of the problem based leaerning model on explanatory text writing as found on eight grade at SMP Negeri 4 Solok Selatan.The type the research is quantitative with the experimental method. There are three results found from the research, these are (1) eight grade students expansive writing skills as found at SMP Negeri 4 Solok Selatan before they were tought using the problem based learning model it were already in a qualitied stage with the average valve is 70,67, (2) eight grade students explanatory writing skills of SMP Negeri 4 Solok Selatan after being tought using the problem based learning model is in a better qualified stage with the average valve is 86,86, and (3) eight grade student explanatory writing skills of SMP Negeri 4 Solok Selatan using the problem based learning model have been in a good stage even without using the problem based learning model.Â Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Problem Based Learning, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksplanasi

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research is to describe the wrong type of phrases in the short story text, describe the causes of phrase errors in the short story text, describe the pattern of revision of the short story text written by student of 11th grade SMKN 1 Padang Panjang. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The instrument of this research is the research itself. This research data is in the wrong phrase. The data source of this research is a short story text written by a student of 11th grade SMKN 1 Padang Panjang. The research data was collected using documentation. Based on the results of the study obtained data as follows. First, the wrong type of phrase in the students' short story text. The wrong type of phrases in the short story texts of students in this study are endocentric phrases and exocentric phrases. Second, the cause of phrase errors in the students' short story text in the form of front-word phrases, mismanagement, wrong due to excessive, the addition of certain words to phrases whose elements are inseparable, and the omission of certain words that connect parts of phrases. third, the pattern of revising the short story text by selecting the language corpus, recognizing errors in the corpus, classifying errors, explaining errors, and evaluating errors. ABSTRACTÂ There are threeÂ purpose of this research. The first,to describeÂ Â Vocabulary The second, to describe Fantasy Story Text Writing Skills. And the third, to describe the Correlation of Vocabulary Mastery with Fantasy Story Text Writing Skills. The kind of this research is quantitative descriptive methodÂ withÂ correlational approach. The design used in this research is the correlational design.Â The sample in this research is determinedÂ byÂ proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 40 students.Â The instrumentÂ of this research is an objective test to measure vocabulary mastery and performance tests to measure fantasy story text writing skills.Â There are three results of this research. First, the writing skills of fantasy text of the VII Grade Students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang are in Very Well (BS). The second, Vocabulary Mastery of the VII Grade Students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang are in Very Well (BS). And the third, the vocabulary mastery has a correlation with the fantasy story writing skills of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang with a degree of freedom n-2 at a 95% confidence level. TcountÂ value (5.23) is greater than TtableÂ (1.68). Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that TcountÂ is greater than Ttable. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the mastery of vocabulary correlated with the writing skill of fantasy story text.Â Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Teks Cerita Fantsi

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the relation the mastery of the vocabulary environment to the skill writting the text of the exposition Â students in class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method and correlational design. The sample in this study amounted to 44 people. The data of this research is score the mastery of the vocabulary environment the exposition text and skill test result writting the text of exposition. The data were gotten through an objective test intended to measure the students the mastery of the vocabulary environment and performance test intended to measure the students skills of writting the text of exposition. Based on data analysis, the following three things are obtained. First, skill of writing the exposition text students in class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3 is in good qualification (81,91). Second, the skill the mastery of the vocabulary environment the exposition text of students in class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3 is in good qualification (82,05). Third, there was a significant corelation between the students the mastery of the vocabulary environment of exposition text with the skills of writing the exposition text of strudent of class VIII padang Panjang Junior High School 3 in which the significance level 95% with the degrees of freedom n-1 (dk = n-1). Based on this, it was concluded that writing an exposition text requers the mastery of environmental vocabulary.Â Kata kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Menulis, dan Teks Eksposisi

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the writing skills of fable texts of grade 7 students at SMP Negeri 7 Padang before using inquiry strategies assisted by audiovisual media. Second, describing the skill of writing fable texts in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang after using inquiry strategies assisted by audiovisual media. Third, describe the influence of the use of inquiry strategies assisted by audiovisual media on fable text writing skills of seventh grade students of Padang 7 Public Middle School.Â This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this study was one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were seventh grade students of Padang 7 Public Middle School who were enrolled in 2018/2019 school year as many as 251 people. The sample in this study were 31 students who were determined using purposive sampling technique. The variables of this study were fable text writing skills before and after using inquiry learning strategies assisted by audiovisual media in seventh grade students ofÂ SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The instrument of this study was performance tests, namely tests of writing fable texts before and after using inquiry learning strategies assisted by audiovisual media.Â The results of this study are three, namely as follows. First, writing fable text skills before using the incuri strategy assisted by audiovisual media in grade VII students of Padang Public Middle School 7 were in a sufficient qualification (C) with an average of 62.37. Second, fable text writing skills after using inquiry strategies assisted by audiovisual media in class VII Padang 7 SMP Negeri are in Good qualification (B) with an average of 81.45. Third, based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is received at a significant level of 95% and the degree of freedom (dk) = n-1 because of tÂ count> t table, which is 6.17> 1.70.Â Â Kata Kunci:Â pengaruh, strategi inkuiri,Â keterampilan menulis teks fabel

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study is as follows. First, it describes the level of explanatory text writing skills of grade XI students of SMK Negeri 9 Padang before using the problem based learning model assisted by audiovisual media. Secondly, it describes the level of explanatory text writing skills of grade XI students of SMK Negeri 9 Padang after using a problem based learning model assisted by audiovisual media. Third, analyze the influence of the use of problem based learning models assisted by audiovisual media on the ability to wite explanatory text for grade XI students of SMK Negeri 9 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with experiment methods (quasi experiment). The populasi in this study amounted to 174 students and the sample of this study was class XI PH 1 and 2 totaling 32 students. Based on the results of the study, there are three things below. First, the explanatory text writing skills before using the problem based learning model assisted by audiovisual media are of sufficient qualifications (60,08). Second, the explanatory text writing skills after using the problem based learning model assisted by audiovisua media are in good qualifications (78,08). ABSTRACT "Teacher's Expressive Speech Against Class VII Students in Indonesian Language Learning at SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency". Essay. Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Indonesian Language and Literature Department and Regional Language and Art Faculty, Padang State University. The reason for this research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency, grade VII, was the strategy of teacher's utterance on how students sometimes still use mixed code in their speech. The intended speech acts such as speech acts praise, blame, criticize, thank you, congratulate, and condolence. Data collection was carried out by the skillful free listening (SBLC) technique, recording, and recording. Data obtained from recordings are then transcribed into written language. Based on the data analysis conducted it can be concluded as follows. First, the results of this study indicate that Indonesian language teachers in class VII 1 of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung use four types of expressive speech acts, namely expressive speech acts praise, expressive blame speech acts, expressive speech acts criticize, and expressive speech acts to thank. Secondly, the strategy of speaking Indonesian language teachers in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman District, there are four, namely to speak frankly without further ado, to be forthright with pleasant politeness, to be forthright with small talk of negative politeness, and strategy berututr vaguely. The most dominant spoken strategy used by Indonesian teachers in class VII is the strategy of speaking honestly without further ado.Â Kata Kunci: Strategi, tindak tutur ekspresifÂ

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research is three. First, describe the reading skills of the text apresitif fable grade VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Second, describing the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Thirdly, describing the contribution of fable text apreciprocative reading skills to text writing skills Fable class VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Â This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is class VII junior high School 30 Padang registered in the school year 2018/2019, which is as many as 254 students. The samples in this study were determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 56 students. This research Data is in the form of scores of test skills read Fable text appreciative and score test results of text writing fable. The results of this study were three. First, the skill of reading a text apresiative fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 74.19. Secondly, the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average of 76.64. Thirdly, there is a contribution of reading skills fable text appreciative to the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang amounted to 51.4%.Â Kata Kunci:Â Kontribusi, Keterampilan Membaca Apresiatif, KeterampilanÂ Menulis Teks Fabel

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the themes in the anthology of short story texts for students of the 2014 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The approach used in this study is an objective approach. The data of this study are themes in the anthology of short stories of students in the 2014 Indonesian Language and Literature Education class in the form of words, sentences, and discourses. The technique of analyzing this research data, which collects data, is classified, then analyzed based on theory. The method used is descriptive method in accordance with the research objectives. Based on the results of the study, found the themes in the anthology of short stories students in the 2014 Indonesian Language and Literature Education class were found. First, data containing physical themes with indicators of adolescent love conflict. Second, data containing organic themes with indicators of sexual scandal conflict and betrayal of husband and wife. Third, data containing social themes with indicators of economic conflict, struggles in living life, love: friendship, parent-child, and crime (murder). Fourth, data that contains selfish themes: selfishness, character and attitude which are characteristic of inner conflict. Fifth, data containing several themes (main themes and additional themes) indicators are more than one meaning. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that it can be applied to Indonesian language lessons in class XI SMA with short story text material.Â Kata Kunci:Â tema-tema, antologi teks cerpen
