Abstract

This article discusses the negative impact of hate speech on social media and efforts to combat it by utilizing the concept of kalimah thayyibah in the Qur'an. The digital age has brought about a revolution in human communication, but it has also brought about negative impacts, including hate speech. Hate speech can damage social relations, and can even disturb the peace of society and trigger conflict. The Qur'an opposes hate speech and encourages good speech. The concept of kalimah thayyibah in the Qur'an, especially in Qs. Ibrahim verse 24, is explained as a good sentence like a sturdy tree. The research method used is a qualitative data collection technique method. This article also provides solutions to combat hate speech, including the roles of individuals, families, communities, media, and government. By applying kalimah thayyibah and cooperation from various parties, it is hoped that hate speech can be minimized on social media.

This research explains the study of Islamic education for children with special needs who study in inclusive schools. Inclusive schools are schools that provide inclusive education where the education system provides opportunities for students with special needs to receive educational services together with students in general. The method or approach used in this study is library research. With this method, researchers collect, read, analyze, record and process information related to the research variables of this paper. The results of this research show, Islamic education is the right of every Muslim without any reason. Islamic education has an obligation to lead students to happiness in this world and the hereafter. Children with special needs also have the same rights as God's servants on earth, they have potential that must be developed so that they can benefit themselves and the wider community. Islamic education in inclusive schools can be realized well if there is strong synergy from every supporting element, from the government, school management, teachers, parents and the surrounding community, as well as the students.

Abstract

A country's economic development can grow if its business sector is doing well. To maintain the existence of business growth, a source of financing capital is needed. This research aims to critically examine the murabahah bil wakalah financing contract in Islamic banking and provide solutions to these problems. This research uses a qualitative method. This study is descriptive analytic in which data collection is carried out by reviewing the literature then analyzing and interpreting the content to produce conclusions and recommendations. The results of the study suggest that there are several problems that occur in the murabahah bil wakalah contract, including goods that are not fully owned by the bank, moral hazard in customers, and an explanation of the cost and profit. The solution is that banks are expected to form a special unit to purchase goods for customers, the need to emphasize the contract at the beginning of the transaction to prevent moral hazard, and the activeness of the sharia supervisory board in overseeing all transactions carried out at Islamic banks.

Abstract

Israel's brutal attacks on Palestinian land continue. More than 35,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed. Most of the victims are women and children. The genocide committed by Israel and funded by the United States (US) has been condemned by the world. Interestingly, a massive wave of protests was carried out by students on prominent campuses in the US. This ally of Israel deployed a large number of police officers to stop student action. More than 1000 students from various campuses in the US were arrested by local police. However, the action did not stop and actually expanded to hundreds of campuses. The US student social movement confirms the theory of social movements led by youth and students, which is undeniable. The US student solidarity action has erupted into a campus revolution that places students as the main actors and agents of change. The campus revolution in the US has succeeded in giving a new color to US democracy that melts ideological barriers. The campus revolution in the US also presents a new face of Islam in the land of Pamansam, which is dominated by young people and scholars.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to gain knowledge about the concept of the true meaning of jihad. Using qualitative methods supported by literature review with various stages containing content analysis. With the final result stating that Jihad in Islam has a broad and deep meaning. Etymologically, jihad comes from the Arabic word "جَهَدَ" which means trying seriously. M. Quraish Shihab explained that jihad includes the meaning of difficulties, tests, abilities, and struggle against Satan and lust, supported by verses from the Koran such as Q.S. ali-Imran: 142 and Q.S. al-Baqarah: 214. Jihad is divided into fardhu 'ain and fardhu kifayah. Fardhu 'ain is an individual obligation in critical situations, such as direct war, while fardhu kifayah is a collective obligation which if some people have carried it out, others are free from this obligation. Scholars such as Yusuf Qardhawi and Hassan al-Banna stated that jihad includes defending the truth, securing preaching, and fighting oppression, as well as aspects of education, politics, and material sacrifice. In the modern era, jihad against lust and the search for knowledge has become relevant as an important form of struggle to build a moral and knowledgeable society

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is experiencing rapid development across various fields, including religious studies such as the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, which plays a central role in spiritual and moral life. This study aims to explore the opportunities for AI application in Qur'anic studies through a literature review by analyzing credible sources such as scientific journals, books, and online articles. The methodology employed includes the collection and analysis of literature related to the application of AI in the context of the Qur'an. The findings indicate that AI has significant potential to enhance the understanding and practice of the Qur'an through easier access to information, in-depth text analysis, personalized learning, interactive education, and the preservation of ancient manuscripts. These findings highlight the novelty in how AI can be used to enrich Qur'anic studies, particularly through text analysis and machine learning technologies. However, this study also identifies challenges and ethical issues that need to be addressed, such as interpretation accuracy and religious sensitivity. The contribution of this research lies in providing an initial framework for further exploration of how AI can be applied effectively and ethically in Qur'anic studies. Therefore, further research is needed to maximize the benefits of AI and minimize its risks, supporting the development of more modern and technologically integrated religious studies.

Abstract

In terms of religion, the Hajj pilgrimage is a sense of our faith and religion to Allah SWT, through a long historical story of the use of the term "Hajj Title" it turns out that the Prophet Muhammad SAW did not use the title. It has become a culture for Indonesians to use or pin this title for someone who has performed the pilgrimage. As if it gives its own roar and position, it turns out that this Hajj title triggers many different views or perspectives, especially in one of the villages and cities in West Java. Based on this description, the researcher is interested in examining how the community views the awarding of the title of Hajj to someone who has performed the Hajj pilgrimage with a qualitative approach in the form of a literature study and collecting complementary data in the form of direct interviews with several different informants. From the results themselves, there are differences in views or social inequality related to the village community considering that the title of Hajj is important and for the city community the use of the title of Hajj is not so important. However, after a deeper study, although the use of the title Hajj is not mandatory, this title becomes an important symbol of social status, seeing from the environment occupied and also the intention of the individual and how this becomes a local culture.

Abstract

The Saudi Arabian government issued a decree that a hajj visa is a valid requirement for the hajj pilgrimage. The emergence of this decree has brought various responses, both pro from the government and several contra opinions from hajj travel service providers and influencers. This study aims to explore the philosophical basis and unravel the roots of the polemic through an analysis of the Maqashid Syariah system approach according to Jaser Auda. The method used is library research, by using Jaser Auda's book entitled “Membumikan Hukum Islam Melalui Maqashid Syariah Pendekatan Sistem, terjemah dari Maqashid Shariah as Philosophy of Islamic Law A System Approach” as the main reference. This study produced three major points, including; First, before analyzing the law, we need to understand that the legal corridor is placed between sharia (basic and absolute), fiqh (interpretative results of sharia) and fatwa (always dynamic and contextual). Second, the law on the issue of hajj visas as a valid requirement for hajj is a fatwa corridor, it is a product born from the circumstances and needs of the times. Third, the Hajj visa fatwa is not only returned to the classical maqashid which tends to prioritize individual rights, but more broadly it also prioritizes rights beyond the individual (global security concerning Human Rights).

Abstract

Hopelessness is considered an attitude that is prohibited by Islamic teachings, because Allah Swt. always provides a way out with the best solutions for his servants. One of the basic sources of Islamic teachings that provides solutions is theQuran. Therefore, this research aims to know and understand how to overcome despair. This study examines the relevant verses of the Quran, with the problem of despair and its solution. The Quran and thebook of tafsir byBuya Hamka with thetitle Al Azhar as the first reference material, using the descriptive qualitative content analysis method. Solutions explained in the Quran are explored to overcome the attitude of despair. The results of this study highlight a number of issues, chief among them being (1) the reference of hopelessness in the Koran, where the term "ya'isa" is used thirteen times in nine surahs in distinct contexts. Ya'isa occurs twice, Ya'isu appears three times, and Istaiasa appears once. Furthermore, there are single mentions of istaiasu, ya'iasu, taiasu, ya'uusun, ya'uusan, ya'isna, and yai'asi. (2) Allah Swt. forbids mankind to have a desperate attitude as stated in the Quran surah Az Zumar verse 53 and QS. The prohibition set by Allah Swt. but not just a barrier, but also keeps his people away from something that is dangerous or can harm him that humans may not realize. (3) Solutions to overcome despair by being patient, reading the Qur'an, optimism and doing good deeds
