Abstract

The decline of student morality and the increasing behavioral issues among youth present serious challenges in today’s educational landscape. To address this, religious character education must be instilled from an early age, particularly through habituation activities in the school environment. This study explores the implementation of religious character values including worship, jihad (struggle and perseverance), trustworthiness and sincerity, moral conduct and discipline, as well as exemplary behavior through habituation practices, particularly khitobah (religious speech), at MTs Ma’arif Darul Afkar Sendangharjo, Brondong, Lamongan. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that khitobah is an effective medium for instilling religious values and fostering students' character and confidence. Key supporting factors include teacher role modeling and parental involvement. However, obstacles such as inadequate facilities, students’ low awareness, and negative influences from social and digital environments hinder the process. This article recommends improving infrastructure, strengthening school-parent collaboration, and implementing strategies to counter external influences so that religious habituation programs can be sustained and optimized.

Abstract

This research discusses of a market place activity learning model in Islamic religious education learning. This research is a literature review type of research, namely research carried out using the library method. The data analysis technique was carried out using a descriptive comparative analysis approach regarding the development of Islamic religious education learning using the market place activity learning model. The results of this research show a descriptive understanding of the market place activity learning model. market place learning model in Islamic religious education learning design. Implementation of learning using the market place activity learning model has several stages, namely planning, implementation and assessment. Evaluation of Islamic religious education learning using the market place model achieved up to 85% of the minimum completeness criteria. There are several factors supporting the method, namely leadership factors from a school principal, support factors from parents, and ability factors from a teacher. There are several inhibiting factors, namely differences in the character of the students, feelings of doubt from the students, feelings of embarrassment from the students, requiring a long time and answers from the students that are less relevant. Abstract

Dalam proses pendidikan, guru dan siswa merupakan dua elemen yang tak terpisahkan. Guru pendidikan agama Islam juga memiliki tugas untuk membimbing siswa agar dapat menerapkan pengetahuan tentang ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan mereka sendiri, keluarga, dan komunitas. Tantangan sentral yang dihadapi oleh institusi pendidikan saat ini adalah penurunan nilai moral. Dalam hal ini Upaya guru sangat diperlukan sebagai pengasah kemampuan siswa dalam penanaman sikap termasuk sikap tanggung jawab dan kepedulian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini sendiri didasari untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi karakter tanggung jawab siswa, usaha guru pendidikan agama islam dalam membentuk karakter tanggung jawab siswa, serta untuk memahami hal-hal yang menghambat dan mendukung dalam menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Wathon Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Tarbiyatul Wathon Gresik. Terkait dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan obeservasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, serta rancangan analisis data yang mencakup tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter tanggung jawab siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Wathon masih jauh dari standar tertinggi yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga itu sendiri. berbagai upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan agama islam seperti proses memahami siswa, penggunaan berbagai teknik startegi, menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab selama pembelajaran, mengelompokkan siswa, memberikan tugas, dan melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan yang berorientasi pada karakter bertujuan untuk membantu siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Wathon mengembangkan karakter tanggung jawab. Abstract

This study analyzes the fidelity of the implementation of the Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) curriculum by examining the alignment between lesson plans and classroom practices at MTs Tarbiyatut Tholabah. Unlike previous studies, which generally focus on learning outcomes or the effectiveness of learning methods, this research's novelty lies in the use of the Fidelity of Implementation (FOI) framework to systematically examine the gap between the written curriculum and the actual curriculum in the context of Islamic education, particularly in the subject of Fiqh, which is still relatively rarely studied. This study employed a qualitative approach with field studies. Data were collected through lesson observations, interviews with subject teachers, and analysis of lesson planning documents (lesson plans and teaching modules). Data analysis was conducted thematically and quantitatively-descriptively, referring to the FOI framework, which encompasses the dimensions of adherence to planning, quality of delivery, and consistency of implementation, operationalized through indicators of objectives, materials, methods, media, and learning assessments. Data from observations, interviews, and documents were triangulated to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study indicate that the overall fidelity of the Fiqh curriculum implementation is high, particularly in terms of learning objectives, materials, methods, and assessment. Teachers demonstrate consistency in translating planning into contextual and adaptive learning practices. However, the use of instructional media falls into the medium fidelity category, due to limited time allocation and structural learning factors.The medium media fidelity finding indicates that successful curriculum implementation is determined not only by teacher competence but also by organizational support and learning policies. Practically, the results of this study imply the need to strengthen teacher mentoring policies, manage learning time more flexibly, and develop simple and contextual learning media to sustainably improve the fidelity of the Fiqh curriculum implementation
