Abstract

Working in a workplace or organization for a short or long time can lead to job satisfaction which will directly or indirectly have a good impact on work. Nurse job satisfaction is very important for the realization of high loyalty to work and the organization in carrying out daily tasks in hospitals or other health services. Various factors can increase job satisfaction in various fields of work including the field of nursing. These factors include compensation and career development. The type of research conducted was a correlational research method with a cross sectional approach. This correlation test was carried out between compensation and career development and job satisfaction of nurses at X Hospital. Correlation test with linear regression test from the results of questionnaire answers from 25 nurses who were research respondents . The results showed that there was a positive correlation between the two dependent variables (compensation and career development) with job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.000 and the partial analysis obtained a value of p = 0.000 for compensation and p = 0.027 for career development. Based on the above results of the two factors, compensation is a factor that has a stronger influence on nurse job satisfaction when compared to career development factors. For this reason, it is expected that hospital leaders can develop a good compensation system in their management.

Abstract

Increasing life expectancy and sedentary lifestyle in the elderly have an impact on physical changes, especially degenerative joint disease. Exercise is a modality that can provide physiological and therapeutic effects so that it can prevent, treat, and improve the quality of health. However, to find an exercise design that has the desired therapeutic effect requires a long journey and in-depth study. Many recent studies have shown that exercise initiates the secretion of proteins and tissue regeneration hormones which are very necessary for anti-aging in the elderly. The purpose of this study is to further enrich the exercise design which can be used as a reference for the high-risk elderly population and the elderly in general so that the quality of life and life expectancy are getting longer. The research method used pre and post design experimental studies through the purposive sampling technique method which was divided into 4 groups consisting of the control group, experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 which were carried out in August-October 2022 at Balai Warga RT 08 Kembangan Village, West Jakarta. Samples that met the inclusive and exclusion criteria were obtained by 18 respondents. To determine the range of motion and balance function assessment, the sample was measured with a range of motion and balance test instrument. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to determine the effect of stabilization exercises on joint motion and balance function. Statistical test results p=0,001, (p<0,05) experimental first group and p=0,011, (p<0,05) experimental second group showed that there was a significant difference in the experimental groups 1 and 2 but there was no difference in the balance function p=0,414, (p>0.05). The conclusion is that stabilization exercises affect the range of motion in degenerative joint pain.

Abstract

Low back pain myogenic is pain around the lower back caused by disorders or abnormalities in the elements of the muscles and tendons without neurological disorders. Low back pain myogenic is a pain syndrome that occurs in the lower back region with the main cause being muscle. The causes of low back pain are myogenic in addition to excessive muscle work can also occur due to poor postures such as kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis, round back, and flatback. If a muscle is injured and if it is not treated immediately, spinal spasms occur which can cause complaints of pain in the lower back area. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental two groups pre-test and post-test design, which aims to determine the difference between the intervention of the William flexion exercise and core stability exercise on patients with low back pain myogenic. The samples in this study were all patients with a diagnosis of low back pain myogenic who came to the Nagi Larantuka Public Health Center in 2022. The number of samples in this study were 24 people who were divided into two groups, each group consisting of 12 respondents. Based on the results of the different test results using the Mann Whitney test between the William Flexion Exercise and Core Stability Exercise groups, it is known that the P value is 0.284> 0.05. These results indicate that there is no significant difference between the measurement results between the William flexion exercise and core stability exercise groups. Because there is no difference, it can be concluded that the William flexion exercise and core stability exercise both affect patients with low back pain myogenic.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a driving force from within a person to carry out activities including learning in achieving achievement. Motivation to learn can be seen from the results of exams and even from everyday phenomena such as studying only during exams, being sleepy while studying, working together during exams. If that motivation is not increased and instilled in oneself, it can lead to a degradation of enthusiasm, it can even lead to a loss of enthusiasm for learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between peer group support and the learning environment with the learning motivation nursing students. The research design used correlation with cross sectional approach. The population and research sample were 93 people using total sampling technique. Data collection is done directly using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, the average peer group support is found to be 60.67, standard deviation 6.611, min-max value 37-77, estimate interval 59.31-62.03. Learning environment with a mean of 42.04, standard deviation of 4.147, min-max value of 31-35, estimates interval of 41.18-42.90. Motivation to learn with an average of 67.55, standard deviation 6.470, min-max value 52-80, estimates interval 66.22-68.88. The results of the Pearson product moment statistical test between peer group support and a learning environment with learning motivation found p-values ??of 0.001 and 0.007, respectively. The correlation value of peer group support and learning environment with positive learning motivation is 0.346 and 0.279, respectively. This means that there is a significant relationship between peer group support and the learning environment with learning motivation and the higher the value of the peer group and learning environment, the greater the score of learning motivation. It is hoped that STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan will continue to improve peer groups and comfortable infrastructure, away from noise in increasing student motivation to learn.
