Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة الاستكشافية إلى معرفة التحول اللغوي code switching عند التواصل بين متحدثي اللغة العربية في جامعة السلطان الشريف علي الإسلامية، وذلك بغية معرفة ما هي اللغات التي يفضل الطلاب أن يتواصلوا بها فيما بينهم كما تهدف إلى معرفة أسباب التحول، ومتي يتم؟ كذلك تهدف إلى معرفة رأي الطلاب عن التحول اللغوي. يمثل طلاب جامعة السلطان الشريف علي الإسلامية مجتمع الدراسة؛ وذلك لكونهم ينتمون إلى مجموعات لغوية مختلفة، إذ إنهم من دول مختلفة اللغات، تم اختيار 8 طلاب عينة يمثلون مجتمع الدراسة. وتعد هذه الدراسة مهمة؛ إذ إنها الأولى من نوعها في بروناي، كما انها بمثابة تمهيد تبريري لأجراء دراسة شاملة في هذا الموضوع. استخدم في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم جمع البيانات عن طريق الاستبيان الذي وزع على العينة. وقد أفادت الدراسة بوقوع التحول اللغوي بين طلاب الجامعة، وحددت أسبابه، وأبانت أن الطلاب يرون أن التحول اللغوي شيء إيجابي لأنه يسد فراغاً في التواصل. وقد أوصت الدراسة بإمكانية إجراء الدراسة الشاملة لهذه الظاهرة This pilot study is carried out with the aims of investigating the occurrences of the code switching amongst the Arabic speaking students in Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University. Henceforth it will answer these questions: what are languages preferred by students to switch to in their intercommunication, why they are code switching, and when the code switching happens, what are their views towards this phenomenon? Due to the nature of the study and the size of the community in UNISSA, samples of 8 students were chosen as subjects of the study. The study followed the descriptive analytical method utilizing the questionnaire as tool of data collection. The study is considered highly significant since it will provide valuable feedback for full-scale study. This mini study has confirmed the occurrence of the code switch amongst the subjects and has spelled out the reasons of its occurrence. It has proved that most of the subjects` views towards the concurrence of the code switching were positive. That is because they believe that it will fill gap in the communication. Finally, the study recommends a full-scale study is possible to be done for further investigation in this phenomenon

Abstract

The main objective of teaching any foreign language is to enable the learner to employ the four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking); In order to develop these skills, the teacher must choose the appropriate teaching methods and employ them during the educational process.  This study aims to examine one of the most important strategies and issues directly related to teaching Arabic as a foreign language. The most controversial between specialists and professionals in this field is the Intermediate language and the effectiveness of using this language in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers in language skills: speaking, listening, and reading, and writing. Between supporters and opponents, this issue remained the subject of controversy and endless discussion about its use or lack of assistance. In this study, the descriptive qualitative approach was applied. The study population consists of bachelor students of non-native speakers of the Arabic language at the State University of Malang. Their number is (15) learners in the first and second levels in the academic year 2020/2021. The study reached the following results: There is no effect of the intermediate language on teaching reading and writing skills for the first and second levels, while there is an effect of the intermediate language on the skills of listening and speaking for the second level.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى انتاج المعجم ثنائي اللغة الرقمي وغير الرقمي لتلاميذ المدرسة الابتدائية ومعرفة مدى صلاحيته ومدى فعاليته في تعليم اللغة العربية. و المفردات مصحوبة بالأمثلة في الجملة البسيطة والصورة الجذابة. المنهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هو منهج البحث والتطوير عند بورغ وغال. وطريقة جمع البيانات هي طريقة الملاحظة والمقابلة والاستبانة وورقة التحقيق والاختبارين أي الاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي. ونتيجة هذا البحث هي (1) قد تم تطوير المعجم ثنائي اللغة (عربية – إندونيسية) الرقمي وغير الرقمي لتلاميذ المدرسة الابتدائية، (2) اعتمادا على النتيجة المحصولة من خبير المواد وخبير الوسائل التعليمية واستبانة استجابة الدارسين، هذا المعجم ذو صلاحية جيدة جدا، (3) بناء على نتيجة التجربة الميدانية التي تمت تنفيذها بالاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي من قبل التلاميذ، فقررت أن هذا المعجم فعال جدا للاستخدام في تدريس اللغة العربية ويمكن ترقية نتيجة التلاميذ في تدريس اللغة العربية. This study aims to produce a product in the form of an Arabic-Indonesian dictionary digital and non-digital to improve the vocabulary skills of students at Islamic elementary school and to know the level of validity and the level of effectiveness. Equipped with simple sentence examples and an attractive picture. The research model used is the Research and Development model based on model of Borg & Gall. Methods of data collection in the form of observation, interview, questionnaire, validation sheets, and two tests, namely pre-test and post-test. The result of this research is (1) a bilingual (Arabic-Indonesian) digital and non-digital dictionary has been developed for the students of Islamic elementary school, (2) depending of the result obtained from the material expert and media expert and the students’ response questionnaire, this dictionary is of very good validity, (3) based on the result of the field experiment that was carried out through the pre-test and post-test by students, it is considered that this dictionary is very effective for improving vocabulary efficiency and for increasing the value of student in the Arabic learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: (1) describe how to develop additional material using the Kahoot application and its use in learning reading proficiency for beginners, and (2) describe the level of effectiveness of additional material using the Kahoot application and its use in learning reading proficiency for beginners. This research uses Reiser and Mollenda's ADDIE development method, namely analysis, preparation, development, application, and evaluation. The results of this study are (1) Additional material using the Kahoot media consists of ten texts. The researcher developed 20 questions for each theme in multiple-choice form and based on three basic abilities, namely reading comprehension, vocabulary comprehension, and grammar comprehension. (2) The results of the field test show that this media is not yet effective for use in reading learning activities due to limitations in the application of the media due to the corona outbreak.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain: (1) Code mixing and influencing factors in students' Arabic conversation at Mamba'us Sholihin boarding school. (2) Interference and influencing factors in the Arabic conversation of students at the Mamba'us Sholihin boarding school. This research uses qualitatively described method. The result of this study is (1) Code mixing in student communication in the form of code mixing between Arabic with Javanese, Madura and other foreign languages. factors that influence the occurrence of code mixing are different ethnic and cultural factors, habitual factors carried by the mother language and limited vocabulary mastery factors. (2) Interference in student communication there are three forms of interference, namely phonology, morphology and syntax. And the factors that influence the occurrence of interference are linguistic and non-linguistic factors.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى ثلاثة أهداف وهي (1) تطوير الكتاب الدراسي لمادة تطبيق النحو بناء على التعلم التعاوني للمستوى الجامعي.(2) وإلى معرفة صلاحية الكتاب الدراسي المطوّر لمادة تطبيق النحو بناء على التعلم التعاوني للمستوى الجامعي.(3) وإلى معرفة فعالية وظيفة الكتاب الدراسي المطوّر لمادة تطبيق النحو بناء على التعلم التعاوني للمستوى الجامعي بجامعة مالانج الحكومية. استخدم الباحث طريقة البحث والتطوير في هذا البحث. و في نتائج البحث يقام بتحليل الحوائج بأسلوبين وهما الدراسة المكتبية والدراسة الميدانية. ونتائج تحقيق الخبراء تدل على التقدير فعال أي بمعنى لا يحتاج إلى التعديل. وكانت نتائج التجربة الميدانية بالملاحظة 89% بمعناه جيد جدّا أي عملية تعليم النحو وتعلّمه باستخدام الكتاب  الدراسي المطور صالحة وممتعة. وتستنتج نتائج فعالية الكتاب الدراسي المطور بوسيلة برنامج التحليل الإحصائي  SPSS أن الفرضية " توظيف الكتاب الدراسي المطوّر يقدر على ترقية استيعاب الطلاب فعالية في مادة تطبيق النحو بناء على استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني" مقبولة كما بحث في مبحث المناقشة فحصل على النتيجة  sig.(2-tailed) هي 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to describe the transposition and modulation in the translation of the book “La Tachzan” into Indonesia. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. From the data examined, it is found that the shifts in the translation of the book “La Tachzan” are: (1) Transposition must be caused by a system and different language rules, (2) Transposition due to the absence of systems and rules in one language, (3) Transposition due to reasonableness, (4) Transposition of overlap. Modulation shifts are found in the translation of “La Tachzan” (1) Compulsory or linguistic modulation and (2) Non-linguistic modulation.

Abstract

Education in university is not only about providing lecture material but also must provide a learning experience. As a student, he must have an independent attitude in learning, be motivated when participating in learning, be responsible for doing assignments, be confident during the discussion process and be able to evaluate his own learning outcomes. This study aims to determine student responses to the use of portfolios that can facilitate students to have an independent attitude in learning.  The subject of this study is the students of the Linguistic Course at the State University of Malang.  This study uses qualitative methods through observation and questionnaires to determine student responses. Then, to analyze the student responses, the researcher carries out data reduction, data presentation, and conclution drawing. The results of the questionnaire showed that 93.4% of students agreed to the use of portfolios which could increase independence in learning. And the remaining 6.6%, students disagree with the use of portfolios that can increase independent attitudes in learning. This is also evident from the attitude of students when learning takes place, which shows indicators of independent learning, namely having motivation, being responsible, confident, using supporting learning resources, and evaluating the results of their own learning.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث: (1) وصف تطوير الكلمات المتقاطعة على أساس ويب لترقية كفائة المفردات لدى طلبة المدرسة الابتدائية الإسلامية بسيدوارجو ، و(2) لوصف مدى صلاحيتها. يستخدم هذا البحث التطوير على نموذج Borg  و Gall بالتصرف عشرة خطوات إلى ثمانية خطوات. ونتيجة هذا التطوير هي (1) الكلمات المتقاطعة فيها مائة وخمسين مفردات جديدة من الكتاب المقرر للصف الرابع والخامس والسادس، ولكل الصف خمسين مفردات وعدد الاختبار للصف الرابع ستة وللصف الخامس ثمانية وللصف السادس خمسة. أما (2) نتيجة التحقيق لهذه الوسيلة حصلت على 81،56% تدل على أنها لائقة. The purpose of this research is to (1) describe Web-Based Crossword Development to Improve Vocabulary Mastery of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Sidoarjo Students, and describe its feasiblity. This development research was conducted based on the development model of Borg and Gall which has been modified in eight main steps namely. The result of this development is (1) a web-based crossword media consisting of 150 new vocabulary obtained from textbooks, with details of 50 vocabulary per class, and class four 6 quiz, class five 8 quiz, class six 5 quiz. (2) The results of this app's assessment 81,56% indicate that this media is suitable for use in vocabulary learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan pengembangan teka-teki silang berbasis web untuk meningkatkan penguasaab kosakata siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Sidoarjo. (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall dengan memodifikasi sepuluh langkah menjadi delapan langkah.Hasil pengembangan ini adalah (1) Media teka-teki silang berbasis web yang terdiri dari 150 kosakata baru  yang diperoleh dari buku pelajaran, dengan rincian 50 kosakata tiap kelas, kelas empat 6 kuis, kelas lima 8 kuis dan kelas enam 5 kuis. (2) Hasil penilaian aplikasi ini 81,56% yang menunjukkan bahwa media ini layak untuk pembelajaran kosakata.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the authentic assessment process, the competence measured in the authentic evaluation process, and the use of test instruments for authentic assessment in learning Arabic at MTsN 1 Malang City and Madrasah Diniyyah Nurul Ulum 2 Malang. The research design used  a qualitative method. The results of this study were (1) authentic assessment used was observation and portfolio, (2) competence measured in the authentic assessment process following language objectives, and (3) various test instruments used.
