Abstract

This paper aims to (1) investigate moral values in “Jelifer fii bilaadil ’Amaaliqah” and (2) suggest the application of the moral values in the novel to the teaching and learning of dirasah natsriyah.This paper takes a descriptive qualitative approach. Zuchdi’s (1993) content analysis is used for data analysis method. The procedure includes inductive comparison, categorization, tabulation, and making inferences. The data is collected by following Ainin’s (2016) reading and note-taking techniques, which consist of close reading, making manual annotation, describing data, note-taking, and finding linguistic markers reflecting moral values. The result of this paper reveals that the moral values contained in the novel have the following themes: faith in Allah SWT (to have faith, to be grateful, tawakkal, and to pray), positive character traits (curious, responsible, courageous, honest, independent, diligent, wise, disciplined, creative, trustworthy, humble, and indulgent), moral values in social life (caring, communicative, tolerant, polite, democratic, and collaborative). This paper argues that these moral values can be implemented in the lesson plan and syllabus for dirasah natsriyah. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk (1) menyelidiki nilai-nilai moral dalam “Jelifer fii bilaadil 'Amaaliqah” dan (2) menyarankan penerapan nilai-nilai moral dalam novel pada pembelajaran dirasah natsriyah. Makalah ini mengambil pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis konten yang dikembangkan oleh Zuchdi (1993) digunakan untuk metode analisis data. Prosedurnya meliputi perbandingan induktif, kategorisasi, tabulasi, dan membuat kesimpulan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengikuti teknik membaca dan mencatat yang dikembangkan oleh Ainin (2016), yang terdiri dari bacaan dekat, membuat anotasi manual, mendeskripsikan data, mencatat, dan menemukan penanda linguistik yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai moral. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam novel memiliki tema-tema sebagai berikut: beriman kepada Allah SWT (beriman, bersyukur, tawakal, dan berdoa), karakter positif (ingin tahu, bertanggung jawab, berani, jujur). , mandiri, rajin, bijaksana, disiplin, kreatif, dapat dipercaya, rendah hati, dan memanjakan), nilai-nilai moral dalam kehidupan sosial (peduli, komunikatif, toleran, sopan, demokratis, dan kolaboratif). Makalah ini berpendapat bahwa nilai-nilai moral tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dalam RPP dan silabus dirasah natsriyah.

Abstract

Crossword puzzle is a game whose gameplay is to fill in the empty spaces in a box with letters to form a word that matches the instructions. This game is one of the best ways to develop student’s ability to multiply vocabulary and they would feel enthusiasm in participating in the teaching process. The elementary school students need some attractive and enjoyable things in their learning and teaching process. The materials presented in the vocabulary related to the materials presented by the teacher in the first to the third grade of the primary school. By using this game, the students are not limited to completing the questions only, but it can also sharpen the cognitive ability of the students. The development research adopted the modified Borg and Gall research model. The results of this research were applied to students in the third grade of Mambaul Ulum Islamic Elementary School at Malang. The result of this development is (1) an Arabic crossword puzzle game to teach the Arabic language and its evaluation consisting of the output page in which the login, the user guide, the developed team pictures, the pictures of the supervisor group as well as the experts. On the play page, there are spaces and questions and the result of the students and this programming is complemented by the dictionary and (2) the result investigation on this method shows that it is effective. Teka-teki silang merupakan permainan yang cara mainnya adalah dengan mengisi kolom yang  kosong dengan huruf-huruf agar membentuk kata yang sesuai dengan petunjuknya. Teka-teki silang adalah salah satu cara terbaik untuk mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam memperbanyak kosakata, dan dengan cara ini siswa merasa antusias untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses pengajaran. Alasan pemilihan metode ini karena siswa sekolah dasar masuk dalam  masa kanak-kanak dimana mereka membutuhkan hal-hal yang menarik dan menyenangkan dalam proses pembelajaran karena tidak mampu memusatkan fokusnya pada satu hal. Pengembangan teka-teki silang sebagai sarana pengajaran dan evaluasi bahasa Arab memberikan manfaat bagi guru dan siswa bahasa Arab. Materi yang disajikan dalam kosakata terkait dengan materi yang disampaikan oleh guru pada kelas satu sampai dengan kelas tiga sekolah dasar Dengan metode ini siswa tidak sebatas menyelesaikan soal saja, tetapi metode ini dapat mengasah kemampuan kognitif siswa. Penelitian pengembangan menganut model penelitian Borg and Gall yang telah dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini diterapkan pada siswa kelas III MI Mambaul Ulum Pakis. Hasil dari pengembangan ini adalah (1) pengembangan teka-teki silang untuk pembelajaran dan evaluasi bahasa Arab terdiri dari halaman keluaran yang di dalamnya terdapat halaman login, petunjuk penggunaan, gambar tim pengembang media yang dikembangkan, gambar jajaran pembimbing serta validator media. Pada halaman bermain terdapat kotak-kotak kosong dan soal serta hasil belajar siswa, program ini dilengkapi dengan kamus dan (2) hasil penelitian terhadap metode ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ini efektif.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve teaching materials based on constructivist Arabic learning and oriented KTSP for first-class students of SMP  "Darul Quran" Singosari Malang. The problem statements of this research are: (1) how is the learning design (syllabus) of teaching materials based constructivism, (2) how is the design of teaching materials based on constructivism, and (3) how is the effectivity of teaching materials based on constructivism. The research method is development researchers in his research. Whereas the research object is first class students of SMP "Darul Quran" Singosari Malang, and all those students are the subject of this research as well. While Instruments used in research are interviews, observation, questionnaires, and tests.  Research results show that (1) learning design is very urgent in learning activities. Learning design is a reference to implement learning activities, (2) teaching materials based on constructivism is an effective way for Arabic learning in order to improve students ability in learning four language skills. So that the students can practice their knowledge in their daily lives, and (3) the average result of learning with these materials is "good". There are 3 students (12%) got "excellent", 7 students (28%) got "very good", 11 students (44%) god "good", and while 4 students (16%) got "fair".

Abstract

استهدف البحث الحالي تحديد أسباب الازدواجية، مثل: الأمية، وحصر القراءة والكتابة على النخبة، وتشكيل نمط لغوي يمثل الاستقلال والسيادة، وكذلك حصر أهم مشكلات الازدواجية، مثل: ضياع الهوية، وانقراض الفصحى، والتفكك الاجتماعي؛ مما كان سببا في ضرورة إيجاد لغة تجسيرية تقرب الفجوة بين: العامية، والفصحى، مع تحديد ملامح هذه اللغة التجسيرية، وآليات بناء المناهج وإعداد المواد التعليمية واللغوية في ضوء نموذج رباعي للغة التجسيرية اقترحه البحث الحالي؛ بما يساعد على بناء مناهج للغة العربية تقرب بين: العامية، والفصحى، ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة الحالية: أن اللغة التجسيرية تساعد على سهولة تعلم اللغة العربية وعدم شعور المتعلم بالغربة والانفصام اللغوي، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى إمكانية وضع تصور مقترح لبناء مناهج اللغة العربية في ضوء معطيات لغة تجسيرية شائعة ومألوفة على الآذان تسد الفجوة ما بين العامية والفصحى. The current research aims at identifying the causes of diglossia, such as: illiteracy, limited reading culture and writing for the elite, and forming a language pattern that represents independence and sovereignty. In addition, this research identifies the primary issues of this bridging language, and to find linguistic and social mechanisms for diglossia, such as: loss of identity, classical language extinction, and social disintegration; which leads to generate a bridging language, which closes the gap between: colloquial and classical Arabic, to highlight specific features of building and preparing educational curricula and linguistic materials In the paradigm of a quadruple model flow of the bridging language proposed by this research; to help approximate between classical and colloquial Arabic. Among the most important results of this study: that the bridging language helps to learn, reinforce linguistic and communication retainment and prevent the Arabic language deterioration, The Bridging language evades learner and user sense of alienation, and linguistic schizophrenia. The study also finds the possibility of developing a proposed concept for building Arabic language curricula in light of common and familiar bridging language data which is common and familiar that bridges the gap between colloquial and classical Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know the university’s learning via the Internet in the Department of Language Education in Indonesia using Google Classroom, and (2) describe the advantages and disadvantages of teaching Arabic using Google Classroom. Therefore, the researcher used a descriptive study in this study. And the data sources for this research are corresponding. The researcher analyzed the data using a qualitative description. The researcher focused this research on teaching Arabic using Google Classroom at a university in Indonesia. The results of this research are: (1) University learning via the Internet in the Department of Language Education in Indonesia by Google Classroom. (2) Advantages and disadvantages of teaching Arabic using Google Classroom. Therefore, the researcher used a descriptive study in this study.يهدف هذا البحث إلى : (١) معرفة تعلم الجامعي عبر الإنترنيت في قسم تعليم اللغة في إندونيسيا بوسيلة جوجل كلاسوروم و(٢) وصف المزايا والعيوب من تدريس اللغة العربية بوسيلة جوجل كلاسروم. لذلك تم استخدامت الباحثة دراسة وصفية في هذه الدراسة. ومصادر البيانات في هذ البحث المقابلة. وحللت الباحثة البيانات باستخدام الوصف النوعي. ركزت الباحثة هذا البحث في تدريس اللغة العربية بوسيلة جوجل كلاسروم بجامعة في إندونيسيا. ونتائج هذا البحث هي : (١) تعلم الجامعي عبر الإنترنيت في قسم تعليم اللغة في إندونيسيا بوسيلة جوجل كلاسوروم. (٢) المزايا والعيوب من تدريس اللغة العربية بوسيلة جوجل كلاسروم. لذلك تم استخدامت الباحثة دراسة وصفية في هذه الدراسة.

Abstract

Classroom interaction is an important aspect in language learning, especially in speaking class. interaction occurs between lecturers and students or between students. However, at the end of 2019 there was a covid-19 outbreak around the world, so offline learning turned to online learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the pattern of teacher talk that occurs in Arabic speaking class by online. This qualitative study took data from 4 online speaking Arabic skills class meetings through zoom meetings at the Arabic language department at State University of Malang. Data analysis used the FLINT (Foreign Language Interaction Analysis) framework. The results showed that the pattern of teacher talk in the class was very diverse according to the FLINT categories and only a few used native language, and the most dominant is giving information.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology lately has had a great influence on various aspects of life, including the world of education. Among them is the creation of various kinds of online learning applications in the form of games. The game application is one of the educational media models that can be used by teachers and students as a learning tool. The use of game applications in the learning process aims in addition to attracting the attention of students to focus more on learning material, it is also intended to create a natural, active and fun learning atmosphere. Thus, it is hoped that students can gain knowledge without feeling forced to learn. This article aims to present the application of the Nearpod game in Arabic learning for vocabulary recognition (mufradat) and basic sentence patterns. Nearpod is a website-based application (accessible on the https://Nearpod.com/ page) that can support the learning process, both offline and online, so that the learning process becomes easy and fun for students.

Abstract

This article aimed to verify the effectivity of Himmati to improve the Arabic reading skills of beginners. The target population here was all of the beginners in Indonesia as well as some other countries in Southeast Asia. While the accessible population was the beginners in MAN 4 Banyuwangi, Indonesia among the new students of 2020/2021. Based on the experiment results on 21 samples who participated in the online ATQ program using Himmati, which were analyzed with the paired-sample t-test, it was found a value of sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < P-value 0,50, while the value of tcount 5,901 > ttable 2,086. It showed that there was difference in the Arabic reading skills for beginners between pretest and post-test scores. Because the post-test score 87,19 > pretest score 80,38.  So it can be concluded that Himmati is effective as a textbook to improve the Arabic reading skills for beginners in MAN 4 Banyuwangi. Thus, Himmati can be recommended as a textbook to be used by more beginners to improve the Arabic reading skills.

Abstract

Arabic is one of the materials studied in Pesantren Khalafi and Salafi. Maharah Kitabah is one of the important skills in learning Arabic. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the differences in the kitabah ability of the students in Pesantren Khalafi and Salafi. This study uses a comparative method. Data collection tools used in the form of tests on 50 students of Pesantren Salafi and 50 students Pesantren Khalafi. The data analysis method using by the Mann Whitney statistical test with α= 0,005. The results of this study showed that there was a difference between the maharah kitabah ability of Students in Pesantren Khalafi and Salafi with the statistical value of Arabic writing (p-value (0.016) <α (0.05))تعتبر اللغة العربية إحد المواد الدراسية  التي تدرس في المعهد السلفي والخلفي .واللغة العربية هي الإحدى المهارات اللغوية في تعلم اللغة العربية. بالنسبة إلى هذا فإن هذا البحث يهدف إلى التعرف على  المقارنة بين كفائة الطلبة على الكتابة في المعهد السلفي والخلفي.  إن منهج البحث الذى اعتمدت عليه الباحثة فى كتابة هذه الرسالة هو المنهج المقارن. ولجمع البيانات تقوم بالاختبارات في 50 عينة من الطلبة  في المعهد السلفي و50 عينة من الطلبة  في المعهد الخلفي. ويتم اختبار الفرضيات باستخدام   Mann Whitney من النظام المحسوب بنتيجة  = 0،005 . وقد نالت من هنا نتائج البحث المستنتجة من البحوث أن هناك الإختلاف بين كفائة الطلبة  في المعهد السلفي  والخلفي في كتابة اللغة العربية (p-value (0.016) <α (0.05))

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to implement test item preparation for language items. There are three types of this test: sounds, structures, and vocabulary. We also know that preparing test items has a very important role, because every subject need testing. Every teacher, of course, needs to practice preparing test items so that the tests offered are suitable for educational goals. The steps for writing the test items or questions include: (1) setting goals, (2) preparing the criterion questions, (3) writing the question items, (4) browsing the questions, (5) experiment, (6) analyzing the question items, (7) improving the test, (8) compiling test, (9) take the test, (10) interpret the test results. In this article, the researcher writes only three steps, which is from setting goals to applying writing questions.الهدف بكتابة هذه المقالة لتطبيق إعداد بنود الإختبار  لعناصر اللغة. ومن أنواع هذا الإختبار هناك ثلاث إختبارات وهي: الأصوات، والتراكيب، والمفردات. كما عرفنا أنّ إعداد بنود الإختبار لها دور مهم جدا، لأن لكل المادة تحتاج إلى الإختبار. فلكل المعلم فطبعا يحتاج إلى ممارسة إعداد بنود الإختبار لكي الإختبارات المطروحة مناسبة بأهداف التعليمية. ومن الخطوات لكتابة بنود الإختبار أو الأسئلة منها: (1) تحديد الأهداف (2) اعداد المعيار الأسئلة (3) كتابة بنود الأسئلة (4) تصفّح الأسئلة (5) التجريبة (6) تحليل بنود الأسئلة (7) تحسّن الإختبار  (8) تجميع الإختبار (9) إجراء الإختبار (10) تفسير نتائج الإختبار . وفي هذه المقالة كتابة الباحثة فقط ثلاث خطوات وهو من تحديد الأهداف حتى تطبيق كتابة بنود الأسئلة.
